My dining experience was disappointing for several reasons. The main course was served cold because it was brought out with the appetizer, instead of being served afterward. There were no bowls provided for the liquid curry, making it difficult to eat alongside the other vegetables on the plate. The onion salad was not worth the money, and I’d recommend bringing your own mouth freshener since none is provided. To top it off, the staff was rude, which really soured the entire experience.

Food-wise the place is phenomenal. It was my first time trying em out and it was great. Just one complaint when i entered the store , i choose to sit on the sofa since i have lower back problems and MALS, so sitting on chairs gets me in a really worse position. Also it was 3 pm so wasnt really crowded. But one of their representative very rudely told me to switch to the chairs since i was only one person. Until i was there no one came to sit on those sofas. They were all empty. And honestly if anyone would have come i ‘d happily give them the sofa because it is justified. Its just my medical condition that doesnt let me sit on chair for longer period. His behavior left me with tears, but i enjoyed my food :) Service is also good.

Overhyped restaurant! Be it shakes or food. Portion size is not worth of the prices. Most of the mild curries are sweet. They will ask you to order at the counter despite of server’s availability who will ask you every single time if you need anything and you will feel annoyed. Quality is okay as it’s expected for the money you are paying. Except being Vegetarian restaurant, there is no other reason to visit here as you can easily get a better food in the same vicinity.

My absolute favorite Indian food in the area. We have celebrated birthdays here and they were super accommodating to us bringing in a cake and even gave us candles! Dhiraj is our favorite server to have and does a great job every time.

The ambience was great. The food was okayish. Over-hyped Raj Chori was filled excessively with boiled chickpeas. Mysore Masala Dosa, Dahi Puri was good though. The only thing that i did not like was when we asked for a bill, a $20 tip was pre-included. The hospitality rule says 10% tip of the bill amount for which my tip would have been $10 on a $100 bill. Isn't a guest allowed to decide how much does he wana tip? I, too, belong to the hospitality industry, and customer tipping based on exquisite service should be the motto. Just taking orders and bringing food to the table isn't called customer service. Ask if the guest is okay. Ask if he liked the food, check if they need something else, and then expect a 20% tip instead of pre-loading the bill with $20 tip and $7 tax. It isn't about money. If i like your food and service, i could tip you the amount equivalent to the total bill, but u can't force me to pay the amount u decide on my behalf. A lot of restaurants serve good food, very few offer good service. I wish I had read the reviews before coming in. I will not recommend my friends or family or to anyone.

A good variety of menu and specially with various vegan, Jain and Swaminarayan options. However they serve water in plastic bottles - why? Please help the environment and serve water in regular glasses.

This was our 1st visit & definitely won't be our last! I had been wanting to try Nirmanz for a long time after reading about it on my phone.The atmosphere & staff was super friendly & welcoming. The menu is extensive & has something for everyone. The waitstaff is very helpfull w/ descriptions & recommendations along w/ the online menu having lots of pictures...we ordered a lil bit of everything & it was all delicious! The restaurant decor is beautiful & elevates the dining experience! They are open for lunch & dinner w/ a 2 hour break in between. We arrived around 6pm & seating was available w/o a wait. I could tell it was a popular place to dine cuz it filled up quickly but tables came & went so there was a nice flow & they also have outdoor seating. They are also ♿️ accessible. This was the best dining experience we have had in a long time. If your looking to try something new,drive out to Nirmanz in Richmond,we drove all the way from Houston & would definitely make the drive again! Thank you Nirmanz for everything yall were absolutely wonderful! 🥰

Delicious variety of Vegetarian food with Vegan and Jain options ! Each dish we ordered had distinct independent flavors . Beautiful presentation ! Kudos to the Chef and his team! Been here four times with different set of friends and family . Everyone loved their orders . Great friendly staff with pleasing service . They need to get better shades to block out the Sun that hits on the face . Some of our favorites other than their amazing chats and street food are ,Lotus root Appetizer , Duadaar Soya Chaap, Bajri Roti with Baingan Aloo, Amritsari Kulcha and Chole , Kathal Biryani and their Thaali .

Amazing flavors, tastes, and presentation of plates. The service was great and we enjoyed our meal here. If you are craving good Indian food this place will not disappoint.

Very good food! I couldn't tell it's vegetarian. Just keep in mind, "mild" at this restaurant is Indian mild, not American mild. The servers were good listeners and friendly, and the music was awesome.

Had Gobi Manchurian, Bhutte ki tikki, Palak patte ki chat for starters which was very good. Main course Palak Panner, veg jaipuri, dal and rotis were ordered which was just not tasting the way it should.

Dhiraj was the best server and the food was phenomenal. We didn’t even know it was a vegetarian restaurant, but the best Indian food we’ve had!!

We've gone for a season today, the first time was subpar for lunch, went again for dinner and everything was well seasoned except for the palak paneer which was too watered down and very little flavor.

If I could, I would rate this place 0. As much this place has been hyped about for good food, it is not! Those who know the good taste would never come here. We ordered Bajri Rotlo & Olo - Olo was EXTREMELY sour!!! When I told about it to the server, Sunny, made a face & not happy about it! He unwillingly offered to take the Olo back & brought back tasting exactly the same! Their sev-puri didn’t taste good also - just filled with bad tasting chutneys, shredded beet & pomegranate non-sense! Customer service sucks! I would rate -10. Don’t waste your money!

We live in San Marcos and go out of our way to drive down just to eat here! Absolutely amazing authentic Indian food! Dhrij was our server and he was wonderful! The Chana Masala is amazing and I always make sure to get the Vada Pav because it is my favorite! Everything I’ve tried, I’ve loved. Highly recommend eating here!

Great vegetarian Indian restaurant in Richmond! Lots of wonderful food choices from a number of regions in India- whether you’re wanting some Bombay style chaat, South Indian dosas, good old Chole Bathure or some Hakka, Nirmanz has you covered for your fix! We went here for the first time a few days ago and got the Raj Kachori (delicious!), the spicy momos (no picture was we attacked it!), and samosas. For the main entree we had Rajastani Ghatte ki sabzi and Paneer methi malai with naan. We also had the chickoo milkshake and mango mojitos. Food and service were great. They have outdoor seating too which is nice. Lots of fans blowing so it’s not as hot and keeps any bugs at bay. Will def return to try the other menu items!

My experience with this restaurant was pretty good for the most part. The menu prices are average and they do offer a variety of snacks and main courses. I ordered the Mango Mojito which was delicious! It was the perfect ratio of mango along with the sweetness. I wasn’t a fan of the Garlic MoMos which for me were too spicy. The main courses were pretty average as well. The Malai Kofta was too sweet for me and the Paneer was just about average. Overall my experience good and the service was pretty fast for it being a weekend.

A group of 6 of us met for lunch on a Friday at the Richmond location. We wanted separate checks, but the waiter said that is not possible. He said he can split it 4 ways, but not 6. We asked why, and he said that is the restaurant policy. We were all surprised, never experiencing anything like this before. Not happy with this at all, we decided we would not leave any tip. To our surprise, the restaurant automatically added 20% gratuity to our bill! We all agreed that we will not meet at this restaurant again.

When we need heartwarming food with beautiful royal Indian ambiance… then this is the place. Chats are best in town thanks to Utsav ** for palak chat recommendation😋. You guyz sealed us for important days celebration for sure👌👍

Didn't expect to get a 5 stars dinner from a local Indian restaurant. The taste of the food, presentation, services and decor are superb. The street food menu is awesome! Feel we were in heaven's realm when we ate here. And it's a vegetarian restaurant 😋

Nirmanz SERIOUSLY took care of my family and I. We had 10 people and a variety of dietary choices and allergies. It took some organizing on my end to get our detailed order put in for our large party, with many needs and preferences, but we did it and our server was incredibly patient with us. Everything we had was delicious!

What an amazing find!!! My husband and I came here for our anniversary, and the daughter of the owner/chef helped us pick out super delicious dishes to try!!! Whether you are familiar with vegetarian dishes or not, this place will blow your mind!!!!

Nirmanz has been my go to place when it comes to dining best quality food with nice ambiance. This restaurant has set a high bar in terms of providing an ambiance even though the place is small. May be a place for other small restaurant owners to visit and see how scale up can be done. Staff is very friendly. They greet you with smile always. Coming to food especially the street food is best when it is about raj kachori, chaat , paav bhai, dosa. We have tried all sort of things from their menu and they are mostly good.

PRICE/PORTIONS: Portions are VERY small for the price. Complete rip off in that sense. I lived in a more expensive area in New Jersey where I can get the same food same quality for that price bigger portion serves two people, just as tasty and comes with rice on the side. One entree HERE does not serve two people at all and no rice given on the side not worth it in my opinion. Service was less than good. Waited quite long time and they never came to clear the table. FOOD: Food was great and delicious. But with what I said above I will not be coming here often to pay such a high price to get very little food.

Without a doubt, this is the absolute best Indian restaurant I've ever experienced outside of India. As a true food lover who has explored Indian restaurants in all major US cities, I can confidently say that this menu is filled with unique and exciting dishes that go beyond the usual offerings. What's even more impressive is that everything is vegetarian! Our delightful host, Dhiraj, provided excellent recommendations that truly enhanced our dining experience. I am eagerly looking forward to my next trip to Houston, just so I can return to this exceptional restaurant.

Such a beautiful restaurant and more importantly, the food we ordered was CRAZY good. Our server was Dhiraj-super sweet and helpful guy. We had Malai Kofta, Dhuadaar Chaap, Raj Kachori, and garlic naan. Highly recommend!

Food was pretty good but a bit overpriced. Pani Puri Boutique presentation was quite bland, with the colorful waters in small, steel glasses instead of the larger, clear glasses that used to be at the Sugar Land location. Was excited for this dish so the presentation was a little off for this one, but other dishes presentation was better. Also noticed some reviews where service managers/staff seemed to have attitude and also felt similar way when asking questions. Overall, okayish experience but could be better. Edit: For reference, adding what the Pani Puri Boutique used to be like.

Not worth the price of the dishes. Their Sugarland Branch food is better. The Richmond branch, they want to showpiece it as a Boutique, but the food is bad. Not well cooked, under cooked. I went there during the weekend with my sister, we ordered something and it was undercooked. The owner was there, and his wife too was there. They knew what was wrong. I was very disappointed. I am a regular customer at there Sugarland location. If it was an American restaurant the owner would have come forward and accepted that there was a problem with the food. But Nope, not a buzz. The waiter was very nice and was trying to make up excuses for something that was not his doing. Overall it is not worth going there, unless people who are Not from Delhi and UP, who do not know the taste of Food from that part of India.

Wonderful food and service. We were served by Dheeraj. he is especially nice and takes good care of his customers. Suggested dishes and took special care of our needs. Must go!

Amazing food, be it appetizers, main course or the deserts. Each and every dish we ordered was finger licking good, I mean literally finger licking. Akheel and Dheeraj took care of all our needs. Can't wait to visit again.

All I can say is WOW! The food, ambiance, service, and the prices are great! Dhiraj was our server. He is the BEST! This was our first time dining here. Dhiraj recommended different things according to what we told him at liked. He was so on point with the recommendations! We LOVED all our food! Very flavorful and aromatic! We had the Bhutte Ki Tikki, Kathal Biryani, Bombay Bhel, Gulab Jamun, and the Cholay Bhature. We drank Mango Lassi, Sitafal Shake, and the Chikoo Shake. Everything was WONDERFUL! I highly recommend this place!

They have outdoor sitting area too. So nice and cool interior. We also had a great experience of live music. We had live flute experience and it was Fabulous. We really loved and enjoyed our evening.

Delicious Indian Vegetarian Food! We ordered Amritsari Paneer Bhurji Kulcha, Bajra Roti with Baingan Bharta, Mango Mojito and Moong Dal Halwa! Everything was great in taste. The service is very quick! Dheeraj helped us with appropriate portion sizes information this avoiding over ordering of food! Will definitely return to try different dishes on the menu!

Utsav was attentive, welcoming, but most of all helpful in understanding our inexperience with selecting food from an Indian restaurant menu for our special Valentine’s Day dinner adventure beyond the usual for anglo Americans. He won our trust in allowing him to order our full meal and it was exquisite throughout with flavors and textures we had never experienced before. We left not only with satiated appetites but with a new friend as a bonus!

I was impressed when I came here first time. But since I have last been here the food quality and menu both have changed. They removed some good authentic items. Quantity is also slightly less. The ambience at day time feels good. But at night, the lighting is so poor that it is difficult to see clearly and feels very gloomy and dark. They have plenty of lights which they don’t turn on! Overall I don’t feel like coming back this time.

This is a hidden gem for foodies. Great place to enjoy food and atmosphere. Customer service is top notch and food comes pretty fast!
