Beautiful interior with quality craftsmanship. Customer service is amazing I always feel welcomed when I visit 2-3 times a year. Small menu but all quality ingredients. They have amazing fresh squeezed juices as well.

Delicious food very friendly service and interior is amazing

This is one of those establishments where it's noticeable that from ownership to management to service, everyone cares about quality. The all wood interior, theme appropriate music and menu items are all consistent and in good taste. The sandwiches were on point. And if you're bringing kids like us, they have you covered with a kids menu. Prices were also very reasonable. I don't think you can go wrong here.

Absolutely love this place. The staff are all super friendly, the place itself is so calming and relaxing and the food is absolutely delicious. Everything is great but my favorite is the mango mate and the yogurt parfait you might think what’s so great about a yogurt parfait?? But I’m telling you it was hands down the BEST parfait I’ve ever had. Their sandwiches are so good I of course almost always go for the deli rose. Great for a date day or even lunch with friends and family. They have indoor seating and outdoor. Hands down just a great place to eat.

My daughter went with her friend who dined at one in California. She told me I would like it. My husband wanted to give it a try. Absolutely delicious! Yes I would go again and again. And took home dessert and a salmon sandwich. 🥰

I adore this place; it’s one of my favorite places to eat. The food is always amazing, the service is always excellent and the atmosphere is so warm and cozy. You feel like you’re enjoying a lovely meal inside a hobbit house with good friends and gentle music. Plus, the price is so good for what you get, I feel like they should be charging more. If you have never been, you are totally missing out!

EXCELLENT place to go for a tasty home cooked meal with refreshing drinks. My friend and I tried the Bristol Salmon Fillet tonight and were EXTREMELY pleased, but not surprised at how tasty it was. Atmosphere and Service is top-notch. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. You will not be disappointed.

What a beautiful, delicious, and relaxing experience. As soon as you walk in, you’re transported to a magical stress free whimsical atmosphere. The decor of the place was amazing. The service was outstanding, we were well received and attended to the whole time. Now let’s get to the food, EVERYTHING we had was delicious…the veggie burger, the soup, the salmon sandwich, chicken sandwich, and all the drinks were great. The decided to go the next day to have breakfast and wow! All the ingredients were fresh…the bread, waffles, maple syrup were all locally grown. You can definitely taste how fresh everything was. What a pleasant time we had.

Holy yummy. ! This place is delicious. We were running late to pick up the food but they were understanding and even let my mom use the bathroom before we headed back to long island. Highly recommended.

If you want to enjoy food made with love and with the taste that only grandma's have so then Yellow Deli it's your place. It's my favorite place I live in the neighborhood and since I moved here it's been my favorite place, waffles are heavenly, the daily soups and chili are the best in ny state, the sandwiches are so fresh and not to mention the cold teas, mango mate, hibiscus, I recommend this place to everyone who visits the Catskills

So anybody else ever seen, a restaurant with nothing but 5 star reviews. That's pretty rare. You know why that happened because this restaurant is run by the 12 tribes cult. A pretty terrible call. There's actually a very long FBI report about them and all the child molestation. Child abuse child labor sexism, racism homophobia. Antisematism They were even Responsible for colorado's worst wildfire of all time burning over six thousand acres , the martial fire Burned to the ground 1802 homes in the process. Don't eat here, these are not good people. You don't have to believe me. There's an fbi report and plenty of documentation on these people. Yes, it's very quaint, the food might be good. They might seem like nice people but do not support this. This is not a good thing. The reason I gave it a 5 star rating. Is because you wouldn't see it if I gave it a one star rating

This was well worth the stop over. This place is located in a very small town and was very busy.i can see why. The food was incredible and every square inch of the restaurant was beautifully designed. The tea was even incredible. Try the yerba mate.

Great all day breakfast and food spot. Come hang out relax in the lodge like scenery with handcarved wood accents. Nice people and caring service :) The food is good and hearty yet has also healthy options like carrot juice, dandy blend lattes and smoothies. The tiny fruit salad was surprisingly soo good! And the reuben sandwiches are my go to here. I love bougie upscale hipster spots yet there is something about getting a quality n AFFORDABLE meal in a cute themed scenery that really fits the mountain vibe. I have been to other locations in colorado and im happy i spotted this one on the map. Worth the drive. Dont expect too much going on in this small town of durham though.

We skied windham this past week and stayed not too far from the yellow deli. What an amazing place . The atmosphere is something to see. The food was excellent and the service was great . Don’t miss stopping here for breakfast or dinner when you’re up this way .

Love this place . I've been going to it when it was the common ground. Love the atmosphere and staff is always pleasant. Try the namesake common ground. The Chilli was really good. The waffles are big. The carrot cake good. Their hike sandwich was tastey. I've never had anything bad from here.

“One step into The Yellow Deli and you’ll feel you’ve been transported to a simpler time…” I visited the Oak Hill location and can confirm that having a bowl of chili after a stressful day can indeed help your mental state. The jalapeño bread was baked to perfection, the assortment of teas were wonderful. I had a walk in group of 6, the staff and kitchen are polite and efficient. What a pleasure it was to have exceptional comfort food on a day it snowed :) I hope our paths cross again Oak Hill, stay blessed

I'm a fan of the yellow deli and I've been going to my local one for at least 10 years. The staff are amazing and it was so great to chat with them all, made me feel right at home. The food is amazing as always. Worth the stop in this cute little town.

Absolutely love the yellow deli. Try to get there at least once a month. If not more. Food is fabulous services. Great and friendly staff. I always come and have lipostrami with Swiss cheese on an onion roll with a butternut squash soup. Delicious! A+++

They handmake all the furniture, make excellent teas and the yogurt fruit plate is amazing as well as the sandwiches. Great place can even join their commune if you want 😂

I can’t believe this must be written… since the food is normally excellent and staff very kind. There was a visiting group from another location filling in for the normal crew, working the kitchen etc. There was definitely “something” in the food. I don’t say that lightly, but I do know what these things are. Please don’t add them to our food without consent.

I’m saddened to see reviews claiming this establishment it’s ran by a “cult” just because people can’t accept someone’s lifestyle and their lack o tolerance thereof. I stayed in East Durham cabin back in 2019, the yellow deli, aside from having great food, their atmosphere is one of a kind, they made feel VERY welcomed and at peace within myself and space. I haven’t gotten that experience elsewhere. The restaurant it’s beautiful and I was very happy to learn about their history. Keep it up !

Despite the fact that it is owned by a cult that supports racism, slavery, and more, The Yellow Deli has much to offer in the department of food and atmosphere. The bread is to die for. I got the chef’s salad and it was so incredibly fresh and delicious! My friend got the turkey sandwich and said it was the best sandwich they ever had. Service was very slow, but our sweet waitress Sahara made up for it. love that bish

The food here is very good and although the kitchen can take a while to put your order together when they are busy, the decor and ambiance are so pleasant that to wait is not a big problem. the chai tea is extraordinary This is a good place for a relaxed meal rather than for a quick snack.

Homemade food and drinks! They have a GF bread that is amazing!! Inside is very cozy, staff is super nice! They have a little spot to shop for natural lotions, soaps, bakery goods ect.... I eat here/take out probably once a week and never had a bad experience. Highly recommend the granola and green drink!

I'm in love. The ambience is magical, it's like being in a homey hobbit animated fantasy world, the music fits perfectly the incredible wooden design... we were in the terrace right next to the forest and the river 💚 Sahara was so so sweet! ^^ oh and don't get me started with the food... here I had one of the best veggie burgers ever, and I have tried many. This one was: per-fect. The drinks were delightful, I had a dandelion tea with oatmilk, tasted almost like hot chocolate with hazelnut, so cozy, and the apple cider was awesome, they even gave us some samples to try, delicious. The juices are all natural, there are so many appealing options you don't know what to choose. The ingredients overall are natural and everything is hand made! You can just feel the love they put into it. ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️

We found this place very randomly on our trip upstate. It was very close to our Airbnb and we decided to check it out. It’s sooo lovely! The decor is just out of this world! And hospitality was awesome too. I’d highly recommend going there!

Total deliciousness. WOW. I would give it 10 stars if I could. Ordered deli rose and a corned beef sandwich. Cole slaw superb. Green drink yummy. Great super friendly service and fair prices. And what a cool and unusual decor !

Never, ever have I had a bad or skimpy meal there! Always super and friendly people! The place is so unique, the tree house tables are the best! There's even a gift shop with lovely soaps, lotions, tea's etc! A definite destination!

Loved it! The best cauliflower soup I've ever had. I tried to stop as I was leaving the festival. They were jammed and with an RV. It's tough to park when there's so many cars. The people are very nice. The food is excellent

Unique wholesome food with artisan interior design that has to be experienced. Wood carved tables and settings that a Journeyman carpenter would be proud of. The food and service makes you feel right at home👍

This place is an absolute rural gem that's much more than meets the immediate eye. Setting, decor ambiance, staff, natural drinks, natural food, lore, service and stories are all phenomenal. And for about 1/2 the price of what you'd think it should cost to have this type of experience. Our party of four showed up 10-minutes before closing with no idea what to expect and got a very friendly welcome. No rush, no problem, stay as long as you like, great experience. And a beautiful ride there and back besides. Will be back...more than once....to more than one location.

Warm friendly service, great food and cozy building. I'm under the impression their employees do some mission type work and help others in a community style with borderline religious vibe but they seem harmless. Great place to go for a warm meal!

If you are like me and and live in the area , You get a lot of Friends and Family who come to visit. I love showing them around the amazing area that is the Catskills and the Capital Region and then taking them out to Lunch or Dinner. After showing off our beautiful county sides, mountains and Waterfalls I am always looking for a unique place to take people that really screams country living and the Yellow Deli is just the place! Soon as you walk in you are amazed by all the wood work and the country feel of the place, The food is delicious and the prices are more then fair. I for one highly recommend this as a place to take anyone who is visiting from out of the area or just as a daily place to stop by for a Great meal. The owners and staff are also very friendly to talk with and will show you around. I will see you there!!!

This restaurant is quaint and unique. It feels like dining in a cozy tree house. The woodwork is beautiful. They have the handcrafted tables spaced out in what feels like little nooks along side of the stairs that lead up to a larger open dining area with a beautiful view of the trees and creek flowing behind the business. They serve fresh produce and handmade breads. They also have a section with various oils, soaps and other products. Great place for intimate dining and quality service.

Never been disappointed. Friendly, caring staff, and most, if not everything is made from scratch. I last went in for breakfast (just before lunch time) everything was perfect! The toast, which is generally thought to be a forgettable side note to any breakfast, was the star of the show (sour dough wheat)! Best of my life and my standards went up a few notches. Great prices and portions. Worth the trip.
