Wow. What a cool story, history, and the bread omg. Beautiful buildings. Hard to find the actual bakery but just keep driving the 1,600 acres and ask around. It’s worth it. Highly recommend watching the videos on this profile to get an idea. This is ARTISAN bread. Impressive for a dinner party for sure.

Such a cute little bakery. It smells so amazing when you walk in!!! The smell of freshly baked bread truly is welcoming. It'd a very small shop. You want in and there's the cashier and next to the desk is a rack of different breads.

My kind of cookie (as someone who does not have a sweet tooth)!! I thought it was very nice, as it was more bread-like. The walnuts are also a nice touch. Not overwhelmingly sweet, I loved it.

OMG! This place is ridiculously amazing! The smell the taste the friendly staff is just a great recipe for success! The olive bread is sooooo good. The sticky buns just hits the spot! The regular and chocolate croissants is heavenly. Plus the workers are so friendly. The bread and pastries are made on the properties then shipped to the various locations. Definitely check them out when you are in Shelburne farms. You have to! You MUST!

Excellent bread and our favorite spot to pick up bread in Chittenden County. They also sell it at City Market and other places. If possible go for a walk at sheburne farms and enjoy the very freshly made bread in their bakery! It's fun to eat baguettes while walking!

Excellent bread. There is no shortage of olives in the Olive Ciabatta. What a lovely bakery to have in this town.

Best bread in Vermont. You can get it at the Brattleboro food co-op. They deliver every Thursday around 4 p.m.

Such flavor and quality! They also double wrap their baguettes and ciabatta, going the extra mile to keep their customers safe. My favorites are the French country , Sesame Deli, seeded baguette and Chili cheese ciabatta with cheese right from Shelburne Farms.

Best bread in New England! Everything here is amazing- the croissants are stellar as are all the different loaves. Love the fermentation process and the staff is always super personable and knowledgeable. Definitely a must try if you’re in the area!

Well baked organic bread and pastries. Baguettes are crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. Raisin twist bread is more like a cake but very tasty. Check the baking schedule because not all the breads are baked every day. Worth the trip.

When my family ventures to Shelburne Farms, we always have to make a stop at the Farm Barn to visit this most amazing of bakeries. Once you walk through the old double barn door entrance, your nose is hit with the most intoxicating smell. In front of you are the display racks containing the most incredible baked breads, cookies and pastries you will ever find. No big fancy display area here. Just down to the earth good wholesome people and baked goods. Try the chili cheese ciabatta, it will change your mind how bread should be made.

We love love love O'Bread! We offer a selection of their breads to our guests during breakfast and every visit to the bakery is a joy! The Cinnamon Swirl bread makes The Best French Toast!

The O'Bread Bakery is a joy to visit, and we've been eating their bread for more than 30 years. The best bread in the United States. And they UPS it... The bakery is in a gorgeous barn at Shelburne Farms, and is a destination in itself.

The multi GRAIN bread is the best bread I have ever tasted ! ! ! ! ! It is filling, healthy, and worth the drive of 4 hours up to Shelburne and 4 hours back to fill up my freezer with the best bread that I have ever tasted!!! I am disappointed I cannot buy this bread in CT, but.... I am willing to buy and have them ship me 6 loaves until I go up there mid July. The bread has few ingredients, but toast, butter and eat!! Greatest Bread EVER!
