Great little Diner, food, service and atmosphere was pretty standard.

Was in your Restaurant yesterday morning with my mother it was disappointing her food was cold the coffee tasted like it was made first thing in the morning. She had pancakes which were cold bacon that was cold and overcooked. It just was unpleasant experience that wasn't the first time. Well as we said driving away another restaurant we can write off.

Great Breakfast place, good service. I had the maple syrup with almonds French toast this morning. It was delicious and more than enough food. All the waitresses are excellent and very attentive ,prices are very reasonable and it has a large local following! You can't go wrong!

All I can remember about that place is the food they gave me was enough to feed a kid every time I drive by there I think about how hungry I was after I left that place I had to go somewhere else and get another breakfast

My daughter took me out for breakfast for my 60th birthday. Ordered a half order of eggs Benedict florintine potatoes and charged full price. It was a very disappointing experience. And the waitress was hasty and rude. July 28..food wasn't worth the price my daughter paid

First timer and will definitely add to the rotation. Had the bacon and avocado omelette, it was delicious. Perfect portion, with ripe avocado and generous amount of bacon. The service was excellent and the price was very fair.

This was an ok dining experience, just slightly above average. Staff was effective but not very friendly. Food was good, and the atmosphere conducive to dining as it was well lit and not very noisy even though it was a full house.

Just OK, Nothing stands out that makes you want to come back. I go about twice a year. Nothing changes.

We were a party of 4 and everyone enjoyed their breakfast! Compared to other diners, the food is not greasy or too salty, just perfect! The staff were very friendly and you see they take their time to chat with the guests, especially the regulars, which was nice to see. Clean bathrooms. We will definitely come back!

I was very disappointed in my breakfast this morning. I ordered the Florentine Benedict & was shocked to discover that it came with frozen spinach rather than fresh!! It had no flavor & looked awful. Also, the red potatoes were bland. The service by Barb was great! We came here because my husband loves creamed chipped beef & no one else seems to offer it.

Went there for breakfast and came back the next day for lunch. Large portions, very good food, reasonable prices. Our lunch waitress was exceptionally attentive and on top of her game. You won't be disappointed here.

We visit this restaurant when we visit this area and have awesome food and service every time. This is also my in-laws' favorite Sunday morning breakfast spot, and they, as we do, feel it never disappoints.

Myself and four other elderly gentleman have been regular customers every Wednesday morning for five years. We tip very well and we don't linger. 35-40 minutes and we're out the door. The owner has a policy that he will not seat you until all five or six are in the restaurant. Three of us use a crutch, and we're forced to linger in the tight confines of the cashier station. He's quick to announce that we should linger at a high top while we wait, even though we have a problem getting on a high chair. His rude and condescending attitude that comes with this policy has forced us to move on. Poached and Bonita Brunch, her we come🤣

Waffle soggy. Frozen, undrained blueberries placed on top of waffle. Menu read "blueberry waffle". Blueberries should have been in the batter!

Breakfast was good today. We got the combo today. Eggs, bacon and pancakes. This was a lot of food. No complaints and service was good.

Haven't had a scrapple.meal since little kid up north. It wasamazing. Family had eggs benedict & french toast. French toast was fluffy, eggs had great flavor.

Had Western omelet with a side of sausage gravy. 😋

This is a good place for breakfast or lunch we’ve eaten both here over the past several years and I have always come back a time or two while we’re in Florida for the winter. Very friendly and helpful wait staff, especially Gina! only downside is that they don’t serve dinner.

This restaurant never fails. It's a reminder of what places were like years ago, complete with home made fare including rice pudding. The Reuben is terrific, as are their home made burgers. Next on our to try list is one of the famous salads.

There are less expensive places, but the food and service have always been very good when I've been there so I think it's a reasonable value.

Overall this restaurant was pretty decent my family enjoyed their meals including myself but the sausage gravy was a tad bit too salty but overall it wasn’t bad, I do wish our server was more attentive but hey better than being ignored

1st time Great food lovely people

I had heard such good things and to be honest, I was underwhelmed. I tried the Philly cheesteak, which definitely needed more cheese and seasoning, as well as the roast beef club. Most clubs come with turkey, bacon, ham, and two types of cheeses, but here you have to choose one meat and one cheese. Pretty disappointed with that. Also to split a meal, it'll cost you $2.00 unless you upgrade to a pricier side.

This is a lovely place with lovely staff and good food. So why the 2 stars? I went there to grab a quick breakfast this week. I ordered 1 egg scrambled, 3 slices of bacon and 2 sliced of bread toasted. The average cost of an egg this week is about $.50. That's based on a dozen eggs not the cost of bulk eggs purchased by restaurants. So realistically the cost was less than $.50. A couple slices of toast run about $.55 and the three slices of bacon would be about $1.85. The unsweetened tea I drank probably set them back about $.32. Total cost in food would be about $3.22 to the restaurant. Rounding up to be generous, lets call it $4.00. When I left I was handed a bill for $13 and change. I realize inflation is a thing and it costs money to employ servers and run an establishment. I'm trying to wrap my head around spending with a tip $18 for a tiny meal when for that same $18 I could have bought the whole dozen eggs, a loaf of bread a package of bacon and gallon of tea. I'm pretty sure my meal was lumped into a menu item that would normally come with multiple eggs, potatoes, bacon, toast, etc. I can't justify spending almost $20 on a meal that small. I hope things change in the future as I enjoyed this place. Dear owner, In response to your condescending reply: TLDR. Once I realized you think that talking down to and being insulting to customers is somehow a good business model I gave up reading your rant but I caught the jist. I run a tourism business in SWFL that's been serving the area for over 20 years and entertains tens of thousands of clients each season. I have 20-30 employees depending on time of year, offices, and have overhead just like you. The fact that you decided to talk down to a customer that brought up the fact that a $14 bill for 1 egg 3 pieces of bacon and 2 slices of bread might be a bit excessive tells me more about you than your business. You have to admit, charging $6.95 for 1 egg when you can get an entire dozen from Publix for $3 might make a customer take pause. You have always made good food but lets be realistic you're not the Ritz. Maybe if you had kept it professional and used a civil tongue to simply explain the situation I would have been more understanding as a fellow business owner in SWFL. I may have even taken the review down. Instead here we are. Do not fear. I can promise neither I nor anyone I know will ever again set foot in your establishment and I will be sure to share the tale of this interaction anytime a client or anyone asks me to recommend a good diner. As you know, you can do a great job for customer a thousand times and no one will say a word. Treat them poorly once and they will tell everyone they know and many they don't. Good Day.

Where to begin?? Well the lovely lady who waited on us was hands down one of the best and nicest servers I've ever had. She never let our drinks get below 1/2 and saw me take a bite out of my sandwich and get as much on my face as I did in my mouth and had extra napkins dropped on the table before I realized it. The food was outstanding and for a diner in a hidden location, it's definitely a best kept secret that I'm sure only the locals keep as a guarded secret. There's no way someone hasn't told me about this place before. The cheese sticks were so soft and gooey on the Inside with a great crunch holding it together. Don't be afraid to tell them to hold the marinara and bring you ranch instead. (Odd I know but she suggested it to me and dropped me a ranch) I never tried the marinara so I couldn't tell you if it was any good or not. My roast beef sandwich was so tender, my only complaint was it was well done roast beef and not rare. I like my roast beef rare but that's just me. It was still worth getting. I'll be back again, that's for sure.

I only had time for a side salad and rice pudding. Crispy, fresh veggies. Delish ranch dressing. Not a fan of the rice pudding, don't know why. Maybe because it was cold and I thought it was a hot dish, but that's my problem! I'll be back to try more things

Very good food. Love the fact that they offer breakfast all day. Clean, friendly and quick service. Food was very good and came out hot and delicious. First time but won't be our last time. Can't wait to go back and try the daily specials. Well worth a trip to Old 41 Restaurant.

This will be my last visit. Will leave it for you rich folks. Food is good. Service is good. Pancakes, eggs, bacon and a side of rye toast and no coffee 15.25 plus tip was $20.00. Just for breakfast........really?

Lot of older folks which was fine but they were crotchety and rude.. not the business' fault just kind of put a damper on my birthday breakfast.

Worst experience ever, My parents visited us and we had already gone to that restaurant, we were served by a waitress with the worst attitude, and when we complained to the manager, he only explained that she is like that, I do not recommend them at all.

Friendly and quick service. Huge menu with dozens of breakfast options and the same for lunch. Food was above average, and prices were very reasonable. Fairly stark interior, lots of tables and booths but not a ton of character. Overall a very pleasant experience and I'd probably come back for a tasty and cost conscious breakfast.
