My absolute favorite brunch place!

Really enjoyed our breakfast here. The food was very good, but we had the kindest waiter, he was so good at his job and very friendly. Hope we get him again!

Huge menu, delicious food in large portions, great coffee with flavored creamers and the most unbelievable nurturing service. Went for my Dad’s 80th birthday and they made it so special with little cupcakes too! Loved it. Cristal, our server, was A+. Highly recommend!

A good place to eat, everything is clean, it's quiet. The man who helped me is very respectful, kind and attentive. The food is good..! I ordered a chicken quesadilla and Shrimp Omelette

We keep asking them to get a dark roast coffee, but we’re told even by the servers that they are too cheap.

Delicious. This place was so good. Had the tomato soup. Yum. Chicken and lamb wrap. Yum. Turkey avocado croissant. Yum. Service was great.

Good location. Plenty of parking spaces close by. Clean facilities. Variety of things to choose from on the menu. Although I waited more than what should be expected of someone on the staff to offer service, the meal was tasty. I had a fresh orange juice, a gyro in pita and fruit salad... It was delicious!

Great French toast and crisp bacon. Bottomless cup of coffee poured without asking just as needed for warm-up.

With friends we had stopped a Poached for a quick lunch before going to the beach. As I was not that hungry I shared a Triple decker sandwich with salad with my wife. This was a wise move as the sandwich was a good portion while the salad was huge. We left very satisfied and ready for more relaxing Florida vibes.

I would not go here on a cold, rainy day as they make you stand outside to wait for a table. There was one party of 4 waiting and me and my dad, who's in his late seventies. The rain was coming in to the front porch area. Granted, there wasn't a lot of space in the front area inside, but 6 could have fit in. We went around the corner to a new Thai restaurant and were warmly welcomed in contract to my greeting at Poached. I will stick with Skillets.

As I walked in, there was no one there to greet or help me. I waited about 4-5 minutes before someone came. No Worries As we all get busy....She looked at me awkwardly though 'can i help you' finally came out . 🤦🏼‍♀️ I sat down, the smell of the atmosphere was lovely . I ordered a chicken salad BLT and an iced tea. The gentleman who waited on me was very friendly and kind. The food was good FF were PIPING HOT. I would probably return.

Made my own omelet combo today w broccoli, black olives, spinach and bacon with cheddar. Was great!! Waitress was fantastic and sat outside while raining a little. Great start to the day!

Everything needs salt. Items forgotten on order and I dined alone, so there wasn’t a lot to remember. Cheese omelette was gross.

This is my favorite breakfast spot when I’m in the area. I’ve dined in many times and they never disappoint. Great selection of eggs Benedict.

Service was slow: over 25 minutes to get an omelet. Hash Browns arrived 10 minutes after that. Food was bland: omelet had little taste. Toast had no butter. Coffee was weak. Overcharged: charged $0.50 extra for cheese that should have been included in the price of the omelet. No reason to try this place again.

Steaks were great, server was a bit off, not very friendly but was prompt. Maybe she was just having a bad day.

We have been here many times (today was the second time this week) and always had a great experience up to today. Today was poor. The issue was our server Riki who is in need of an attitude adjustment and customer service training. Perhaps she would be better in a non-customer facing position. If we had to have her as our server again, we would not return.

Been going again. Hubby and get a large breakfast and spilt it. We have found we dont need such a huge breakfast.

Went to the restaurant at 11 o'clock for a late brunch. Food was very good, but the wait time was about half an hour for the food. The waitress didn't ask us how we wanted our eggs done and unfortunately they were both very runny. So just remember to tell them how you want your eggs done. Nice outdoor seating.

This used to be one of our favorite breakfast stops. Last two visits were met with filthy tables and floors, food was overpriced and service was horrendous.

First time there. Good food. A group of women that were on the other side were rather...loud.

It seems since our last visit last spring that the corporate weasels have cut every conceivable corner. Hash browns are now the same as McDonalds. The maple syrup is now brown corn syrup goo. I don’t know what that was under my eggs Benedict, but it wasn’t a real English muffin. And for 2 people, $40. We won’t be back. Hello, First Watch.

If you are looking for a place to get an awesome breakfast or brunch Poached is your place. They have plenty of options and everyone enjoyed their meals. A shout-out to the staff for working so hard to make sure everyone has a great experience.

Food: ordered 2 American breakfasts ($12.00) home fries are literally potatoes cut in half and steamed on griddle rest of food was ok ordered a cup of extra watery grits(2.50) ordered 2 drinks sodas the total was 36.00 left 6 dollar tip.hmmm did they add a little tip in the bill?

Excellent at everything Our server was so personable we felt like we had known her forever. Recommended the Bloody Mary that is made with wine. Gave it a try. WOW... What a surprise. Would definitely recommend this place

We attempted to have breakfast at Poached last Saturday around 11 am. The restaurant was not busy so we were promptly seated by a polite young man. My husband had never dined there before so needed some time to look over the menu as he found many options that sounded delicious but no one approached our table to offer a beverage until the young man at the door finally asked if anyone had asked us for our drink order. We ordered waters, a sweet tea, and a mimosa. By now we have been sitting for ten minutes or so but we're in no rush and had just decided on our breakfast so we're good. The young man brings our waters and tea but no mimosa, I assume because he is too young to serve an alcoholic beverage. Another 5 minutes goes by and a server brings my mimosa but doesn't speak or give us a chance to ask if we have a server. Another 5 minutes goes by and we're getting a little antsy. The restaurant is not busy but we can't even seem to catch anyone's eye. Finally we flag down the polite young man at the door and ask if we have a server. He walks over to the woman who dropped my mimosa at our table, she eventurally comes over and snottily says something to effect of "I thought someone already took your order" to which I say something like "Well, we have open menus on our table..." and from there it went quickly downhill. She took our order and then proceeded to do everything but put the order into the POS system. I know this because I watched her like a hawk. After 15 minutes of her wandering around doing everything but put our order in, I see her finally entering an order, quickly approach her to ask if that is our order and when she replies "yes", let her know she can brink our check for our beverages because we are leaving. Her response? "If you wanted fast food, there are plenty of fast food restaurants around." I work at a local breakfast restaurant. We would NEVER let a guest sit for 20 minutes without drinks and another 20 minutes without putting an order in the POS. On our way out the door, I asked the young man if I could speak with the manager and he very nervously replied, "Actually I am the manager on duty." Poor kid. He was lovely. The rest of the wasted 45 minutes, not so much. We went around the corner to our go to breakfast spot and were greeted, ordered, our food arrived, ate, and paid withing half an hour. No, we were not looking for fast food but after the blown hour, their speed was greatly appreciated

I'm only giving a 3 because our waitress was a terrible mess. Left a quest sitting waiting for over $30 change, we were waiting for friends (fiance and myself) when they came we were totally ignored. 3 tables of people were seated within the first 20 mins our friends arrived, my fiance and i their 30 mins already. we asked the very young (looked uncomfortable) kid to have her come to take our order as we watched 2 tables being waited on before us but the 4 of us watched them arrive, she threw her hands up 2x when we finally asked for service, didn't even make eye contact walking by. she was obviously very flustered, regroup that's fine but don't be rude and disrespectful. we got up and seated ourselves elsewhere, the waiter was amazing. when we were leaving we were told the manager wouldn't be in for 30 more minutes. by this time we had finally ordered our food and eaten. I give the service by her a negative zero. service we had after a 5 and the food was very good 5

The food was great, a bit of delay, but great. Waitress was great, continued to check on our table and refill our coffee. Great place.

Second visit in as many months. Very poor service and that surprised me. Three other tables got up and walked out and our waitress was loudly complaining about the quality of her customers after they left. Let's unpack it. I got coffee that arrived lukewarm and not very tasty. I pushed it way aside and was never asked about it the rest of the time there. It took a long time to have our order taken and the restaurant was not busy at all. Many empty tables. About fifteen minutes after taking our order, the waitress returned with a handful of tickets and said she was confused about which orders were ours. Then the food arrived and arrived incorrectly. She returned with my eggs done correctly, but my hash-brown patty never maid it. At the end of the meal I asked her to remove it from the check, since it never arrived. She said "it's in the window and I won't charge you." She brought it and it was cold. The waitress got very crunchy after that. Last trip there for me. Can't recommend this place with so many great ones nearby.

We all loved our food and staff and service was pleasant. So many yummy sounding breakfast and lunch options on the menu! You absolutely have to try the hashbrown casserole side that comes with breakfast... so good! Had the avocado toast with egg on top, and I also loved my husband's southwest chowder soup. Lowkey, diner vibes... good place to gather with friends and fam, wish we lived nearby.

Yum! Last week for breakfast, this week for lunch. Friendly attentive staff. Clean environment and great food. Had the chicken ranch grilled wrap and homemade chicken veggie soup today. Amazing!!

Poached Breakfast and Lunch. Usually busy - especially during season. Always greeted with thank you for coming. A great place for breakfast/lunch. Their Benedicts are especially good. Sandwiches and fries are very good too. Their potatoes are cooked well. You can tell they use local tomatoes - nice and fresh. I had their triple decker club sandwich on rye - very good. My wife had their Cali Benedict - one of her favorites. Their fruit cups usually have grapes, watermelon, strawberries or watermelon… sometimes one of the fruits is just fare. Service is good and you are told again thanks for coming when you leave.

LOVE Poached! The entire staff is the friendliest and the food and service is always consistently spectacular. We bring our dog and sit outside and they treat her like royalty too. Highly recommend Poached and thank them for going above and beyond! ❤️🙏

The greeter gentleman is so nice and pleasant and we had a good seat by the window. The service was very attentive and friendly. I ordered the Cobb salad chock full of bacon, chicken, fresh avocado, purple onion, hard boiled eggs and fresh lettuce. Delicious with thousand island dressing. My friend had the lamb shawarma which was very tasty with a large side salad. Great experience and very generous portions. Try it for breakfast, brunch or lunch, you will be pleased.

Absolutely phenomenal 👏 breakfast. I had the Cabo Omelet which had jalapeños in it. Best Omelet so far in Bonita Springs!! Both kinds of potatoes were absolutely delicious. I will definitely be back soon. Thank you to the staff and the cooks!! Great service and food. 😊🙏💯

Nice restaurant. Visited for breakfast on Sun 4/24/22 For us, It was a welcome change from the very popular restaurants we normally visit for breakfast. Hash brown Patties were a little greasy but we both enjoyed our delicious omelettes. Great Service provided by our waitress

A friend and I have been going to Poached in Bonita since it opened up years go. It's never that busy, even in season, the service is ok, and the food is usually good. This morning, I ordered 2 eggs scrambled, with spinach, a small fruit cup, and coffee. That at one time was around $9 95. As of just last week it was about $12.95, which is fine, I know prices are on the rise. This morning it was $17.01. I asked the server about it, she didn't let me finish and ran for the owner. The owner came over on the defense right away. She said the by adding the spinach, it's billed as an omelet. It never was before. A $4.00 up charge for adding spinach is ridiculous. And it's not an omelet! And the bill was not properly adjusted. You just lost 2 good customers.

Don't get the corned beef hash. I asked the server what he recommended and he pointed me toward corned beef hash on a english muffin. It came out looking decent but the corned beef taste metallic. I asked the server if they used canned corn beef and he told the truth thankfully and said they did. Another server confirmed it for me while I was there. I was charged $13.83 for an English muffin topped with dog food and a couple eggs on top. I tipped the guy decently because i know it wasn't his fault. They asked me if I enjoyed my food before I payed and I told them what happened. They didn't discount anything.

The avocado toast with cheesy hash brown casserole was probably the best breakfast I’ve ever had from a restaurant! I highly recommend trying it. So gooooood!

There are not very many quality brunch spots in Bonita Springs. Luckily Poached is one! For out of towners we got here about 10:30 on a Saturday with no wait and got our food in a very timely manner. Our service was excellent. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Great little place for brunch. Seems a bit understaffed, but the servers did their best.

Shrimp scampi omelette was amazing. It is this dish that has converted me to a regular here.

Delicious breakfast. I had avocado toast with a poached egg. My husband had a strawberry waffle with eggs and sausage. Coffee was pretty good. Orange juice and fruit were pretty good too. We went to the one in Bonita Springs, Florida.

We had a great breakfast here. Food was delicious. We met Brandi the owner who was very sweet and we discussed her beautiful paintings. She is very talented. We will return.

Excellent breakfast. Great variety of choices for everyone. Service was wonderful. Lots of tables both indoors and outdoors. We will Definitely be back.

Sorry, POACHED would indicate poached eggs would be a specialty. Was there with my wife, adult kids and my grandchildren. Service was fast and friendly, however my poached eggs were full of vinegar. The replacements were the same.

Food was exceptional. Service was slow or non existent... I'm not one to complain, but we waited about 25 minutes to get our check. I also asked for coffee and drink refill for my wife and I and it never happened. Yet the same server filled her other tables twice while we waited and tried to get someone's attention. Normally the service is really good here. I hope she had a better day, we didn't complain nor did we make a scene, we just paid our bill and left.

The friendly welcome is just the start. This mall-based eatery serves wonderful breakfasts from an extensive menu. I ordered fried eggs with crisp bacon, and received exactly that. The food is excellent and the service is quick, professional, and friendly. Great place to enjoy a good breakfast.

Casual dining with a eggs benedict theme. Food was very tasty, service was good. It's in a strip mall with a casual atmosphere. Location is kind of far for me, was halfway between me and a friend I was meeting, but it was good enough that I will probably go again.

Disappointed that the staff were not wearing masks.

Basic breakfast and lunch restaurant at a local strip mall. They serve the typical breakfast fare but also sort of specialize in French Toast. Lots of food at good price - you will not go away hungry, that's for sure. We have eaten there at least 20 times over the past couple years, most recently in April 2021. Service is usually workmanlike. Good coffee and a full bar. Definitely a good spot for breakfast, but lunch items are kind of average. Will definitely return, and would recommend.

Quick service and very friendly, not crowded. Top notch quality, eggs cooked per request, not overcooked, generous portions, coffee kept topped off. Pancakes light and flavorful, especially with white chocolate chips and walnuts. Syrup provided but unnecessary!

As soon as we stepped out of the parking lot, we were warmly greeting by the host, who took us to an outside table. It was Mothers' Day, so they were busy. Our waitress came immediately, brought us water and coffee. We ordered omelets with fresh fruit. We asked to have the fruit first. Within a few minutes, our generous servings of fresh fruit arrived. And, at just the right time, our omelets arrived. Perfect in every way. This was a definite step up from previous visits. We will be back.

Quick and rushed are two descriptors for this dinner off 41. The waitress while friendly seemed in an unnecessary hurry. My hot chocolate was rushed to the table and spilled. My food came out and before I had finished eating she had placed the billfold on the table. The restaurant was not crowded nor was there a line. Just rushed. Food was meh. I would not order the pancakes they were dry and flat.

Menu superb. Service excellent. It's pricey as you would expect. Menu had no low cost options. Glad I tried it, and enjoyed it. But can only afford it once a month.
