Food & service excellent as always. Sat in bar area where Paul was our service person. Had problems with noise today so nothing they could fix why still have 4 stars. Soup ,salad , & breadstcks, & lots of cheese.

The food wasn't great, soup was okay, pasta was clumped and I ended up feeling queasy in the middle of the meal. We each had the Never Ending Pasta bowl, Fettuccine with Crispy Chicken; my fiance and I didn't get through half the plate. It wasn't good this time. The server, Lainey, was great! She was so attentive and sweet, definitely was the best part of the evening. She was kind and talked to us and our kid with respect. Restaurant was clean, atmosphere was enjoyable and the staff was nice.

This was the Academy and San Mateo Olive Garden. The place is just starting to look tired and somewhat run down. The food was fine and our service was very good.

Had a reservation still waited about 20 minutes, then got put in the corner by the kitchen. They had told us they didn't have any clean cups so asked if we was okay with Togo cups. We asked to move to a nicer placed table and the people at the front desk proceed to tell us no. Telling us we would have to be put on the waiting list again. After our first terrible experience, we thought we would give this location another chance. But we will never return Thanks but No Thanks

Food was yummy. We ate at the bar. The bartender was extremely helpful, cheerful and efficient. I recommend sitting there for the service. The atmosphere was a bit rough. It was very clean but also very bright and a bit hot. Definitely will go back.

Ate an early dinner around 4. Breadsticks were not hot when they arrived. Soup was nice and hot, but the plate served under the bowl was cold. Salad plate was warm. Think these plates should’ve been reversed. Service was decent

Busy location but the food and service is outstanding. The lasagna and the Seafood Alfredo was fantastic. The spinach dip with flat bread is a great tasting appetizer.

Really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. I was surprised at how much the dishes cost now. It was almost $20 a plate.

I ordered the shrimp alfredo and noticed that the sauce was excessively dry. Consequently, I had to request additional sauce to adequately coat the majority of the noodles. Aside from this issue, the meal was satisfactory.

Our server was not attentive. She seemed overwhelmed. The quality of food was not good. The entire party was ill the entire night. Bread was so salty we could not eat it. I will not be back.

I would like to praise the location at 6301 San Mateo Blvd in Albuquerque, New Mexico. I have a shellfish allergy and alerted for my plate. The first was concern over exposure during cooking of the appetizers. The second was because someone was ordering shrimp. Both times the restaurant staff have shown care and concern to help minimize risk of cross contamination. The food was also delicious. Thank you!

Loved the appetizer. Fried lasagna and the lunch menu hit the spot as well. The tea was great! Our server was kind, attentive, and thorough. The environment was clean, and there was no wait, despite the lunch rush.

It was busy so once we got our food, we had to wait a bit for the waitress to get back to us.

One of my favorites… I haven’t left disappointed yet… great food and atmosphere for a family dinner or a hot date that your surprising your significant other with….the food is full of flavor and the environment is classy enough for any occasion… the wine was good as well as the food so come on down and enjoy … you won’t be disappointed..

Atmosphere is awful here, rude servers and service isn’t good. No waiter helped us for 10 minutes and not even the manager try to help us. A server next to us was helping other customers stating she couldn’t do this and cussed. That is unacceptable behavior and made my experience unpleasant when the waiter had a mean attitude. A different waiter came and was not helpful or considerate of our time waiting. 2/10 experience, I’m going to start going to a different Olive Garden our the way.

Went to the one off SanMateo and had the best server. Her name was Andrea and she was extremely busy, but took such good care of us. Her humor was amazing!! Couldn’t have asked for a better server. 👍

Olive Garden used to be a great place to go but not anymore. It’s all about how minimum they can give you on the salad and the breadsticks and charge a lot more than what they used to. Don’t think it’s a great place to go if you’re trying to be economized with your money.

The staff used to be very fast and professional and now a lot of the staff look younger then 21 years old and I'm not one to judge anyone based on age sex or race but at a place where they advertise as semi fancy pink green and blue hair really? The server never came once after we got our food to see if we needed more drinks or something else and she jokingly said ' don't forget to tip ' !! We asked 2 people besides our server for box's and bags to take the leftovers and they all indicated that they had ran out the bathrooms were completely disgusting !! trash overflowing from the bins piss all on the floor mirror was so dirty with had prints all over and what looked like blood next to the actual toilet !! The fact is that this place clearly needs a new manager !! I will definitely not bring my family back to this place what so ever And to the manager I really hope you can get these issues fixed because my family of 12 really enjoys the food at olive garden ! Such disappointment

Olive Garden is our comfort food spot. We always get the same thing. This location has a nice atmosphere that is different from the usual wannabe Mediterranean style. My only complaint is that the waitress had tables scattered throughout the restaurant and that really affected the service because she was busy running all over. They were also running low on a lot of stuff, there seemed to be only a couple of cheese graders they use and we had to wait on cheese and bread sticks?!?! Other than that, definitely going back

Very poor service. Took 1 hour to get out food and when it came out with was wrong. $100 for food that was wrong and cold. Restaurant was blaring hot as well.

This is my favorite place to think, I often will order this, the salad and the soup, I think the soup that's best, is the minestrone or the one with the vegetables, I get that to go home, I get the salad, the endless salad and then I have an appetizer of meatballs, which is a low-carb diet, I lost 23 lb, and treated myself to this from January 6th through March 6th of 2024. Then I will treat myself to a piece of cheesecake and a pot of coffee, and then in addition, they allow you to buy two entrees, and you can take those home, so often the spaghetti with a side of sauce, that works pretty good, and then addition. Perhaps one of the others, the Frida mista, frita Vista, is a appetizer which is quite bountyous, and can serve as a meal, and then the soup and salad in addition to that is quite filling, generally speaking with a substantial tip I can end up with about $53

Ordered lasagna takeout. It was very dry, hardly any sauce. The layers only had pasta and cheese no sauce in-between. They just poured the sauce on top.

We have a party of 11 for a graduation for my lil brother we get here at 6 they said a 30 minute wait and we got a table at 7 and it's now 7:24 and still don't have a server!

Went in for a quick lunch, the food was decent but Jasmine did a great job and told me as we were leaving that it was her first shift out of training, which I would never have known, she provided excellent service.

I’ve had two pretty horrible customer service experiences here in a short span so I will not be returning. TL;DR: The customer service here is pretty abysmal lately, some of the worst I can recall eating at restaurants. You will have to wait a really long time for your food even on slower nights like a Monday. If you have food sensitivities or are a vegetarian, they will not care. First experience: the synopsis of the first experience is it took a really long time to get our food and for our server to come to our table after we were seated. When the server finally came to our table with our food, he put the plates down harshly (enough to make the table shake and the plates rattle), said nothing, and walked away. Second experience: this is the truly horrible experience and why I’m writing this review. We ate on a Monday night and our server was Diego. He took 10 minutes to come to our table after we were seated. After taking our drink and food orders, he brought our drinks. He forgot straws and had to go back and get some. So far not bad. We ordered fettuccine Alfredo with broccoli but we said we’d like “Alfredo with broccoli”. He interpreted that as we just wanted Alfredo sauce with broccoli so instead of clarifying with us, he brought out our appetizer with a bowl of Alfredo and just broccoli. I’m sure there are people out there who would order something insane like that but how about clarifying with us first? I asked him to take the side of broccoli and Alfredo off the ticket. I had to ask him to do it twice because the first time it was not taken off. It took over 15 minutes for us to get breadsticks and salad, still no entree at this point either. We got a refill on our drinks before the breadsticks and salad were brought out because it was taking so long. We could see him talking to coworkers and doing nothing while we were waiting for the breadsticks and salad. The breadsticks were pretty cold when they got to us. The table across from us was sat 5 minutes after us and ordered 10 minutes after us, they received their breadsticks and salad within a few minutes because they had a different server. When the entree finally came out, it had chicken on it. We are vegetarian, which is why we said we just wanted fettuccine Alfredo with broccoli. He made up a story that he got the wrong one and there was another one with just broccoli waiting. He brought the Alfredo out again and it clearly had chicken pieces and residue still in it because they just picked out the chicken and brought out the same dish. We called this out and explained that we’re vegetarians and he said no, the kitchen made a fresh one. Which one is it then? Did the kitchen make a fresh one or did you get the other just broccoli dish that was waiting? Clearly a lie and it was easy to tell. The Alfredo was cold at this point and not great. The manager came over and asked how things went, we told her about the Alfredo having chicken picked off. She said they would never just pick it off because of food allergies. We pointed out the obvious chicken pieces and residue. She said the Alfredo sauce sometimes can get chunks of chicken in it. Okay, do you care a lot about food allergies or do you not? Just more contradictory statements so another lie. Just eat somewhere else, it’s not worth it. Even when we’ve had better servers, it can take a really long time to get your food, even on a slower Monday night. If you have any kind of food sensitivities, they will not care.

Was ok, service was slow and the meal took awhile because they didn't have mushroom sauce and had to whip up a batch. I guess my meal was sitting out getting cold while they were making the wife's mushroom sauce. However they comped us a free desert for that. Took a solid 10 minutes to get our drink orders taken. On top of that my wife touched the on table screen about 4 times and they talked on a table game charge of 2.99 even though we didn't play any games.

Didn't want a huge plate mostly craving chicken gnoki soup so I ordered the unlimited soup and salad. Arrived at 9 didn't get my salad till 10:15 and my soup at 10:40 they close at 11 so I didn't get to eat all I wanted I did take to portions of soup home but I think for the amount of money we paid the service was horrible! O and the bread sticks were litteral weapons not edible at all!

We were seated first and the last to have our order taken. 2 families came in and were accompanied promptly by their server on either side of us. They got their food way before we did. We were just sitting there like rocks on a log and intensely invisible. I was about ready to walk out when someone finally came to our table. Horrible customer service. It’s a shame as this was our first experience with an Olive Garden. I didn’t even want to leave a tip with how horrible the whole situation was. What a waste of my money. We weren’t even a big group. The pasta was dry and cold. If you want to be ignored, this is the place to be.

I appreciate the food served at Olive Garden, however, the establishment requires substantial improvement. Primarily, the bathroom facilities need to be refurbished and upgraded. The floors frequently become dirty and sticky due to frequent use. Furthermore, there is an increased demand for additional seating areas when awaiting a table reservation.

Came in for quick lunch for one, was feeling like some soup and salad. Upon arriving to Olive Garden I was greeted and advised it was just me, I did observe tables in the front and bar was somewhat empty, but I was place in the back of the building not sure if it was my appearance or if they were trying keep it open, because overall traffic in the building was medium. Upon being seated I Was never acknowledged by my server. I usually give it some time regarding Having to work in serving food in the past. My usual patience is about 15+ minutes before I get up and find someone to help. But felt very unusual regarding it was not busy in the back of the restaurant, and the only server I seen was mostly helping a little family of four. I finally went and got reseated because of the only amount of time I have for lunch. I was finally reassigned to the front near bar, manager came to talk about the situation and Meal was paid by Olive Garden. The Bartender was very respectful and got order quickly and he was polite which saved this trip.

Food quality is satisfactory, but the service could be improved. After paying the bill, we were offered a few mint chocolates, but unfortunately, they tasted off.

Meatball app was a bit cold in the bottom and services was disorganized as they had way too many large groups that night. Hard to get some orders right and refills on "endless" soup. No meat order got meat and csme back wrong twice.

This particular Olive Garden location has suffered a serious downturn in every way — so abysmal was the whole situation that my husband and I walked out after waiting 20 minutes for a table. The restaurant was just plain dirty — shockingly dirty, and the the staff was also shockingly unprofessional and seemingly completely untrained as far as the Host Station and Bussers go. Just abysmal. Upon receiving notification that our table was ready we went to the host desk where a very young lady (teenager) grumpily said "this way" without ever once so much as looking at us, let alone speaking to us or welcoming us. "At Olive Garden we treat you like family!" Isn't that the motto? Some family. No greeting, no eye contact, no speaking. The table we were led to turned out to have been only sort half cleaned, with crumbs still on. I went to sit down on the bench seat only to see it was literally COVERED with food debris. So I sat on the edge of the bench, waiting for a waiter to show up so I could ask for it to be wiped clean. Ten minutes passed and no one came. I finally went back to the host station and the same surly young (seemingly very unhappy to be there) lady again kept her head down and refused to look at me while I spoke to her and asked for someone to come clean the bench. She finally spoke: "where are you seated?" I was surprised, but shouldn't have been, because although she seated us, she never once looked at us and had no idea where she had put us. I had to lead her back to the table and she said she'd get a busser. Several more minutes pass and a waiter finally shows up and I also ask her if the table and bench can be actually CLEANED. When I said I had already asked for someone to do this, she then decided it wasn't worth her time and took our drink order. Then a teenage boy shows up with the surly hostess and he has in his hands a stack of bone dry brown paper towels. I ask, where is the damp cloth to actually clean the seat? He ignores me and brushes off PART, and only PART, of the bench seat. Like a portion he thinks I may be allowed to sit in and occupy. Simply brushes the food debris and crumbs onto the floor. Then I look down and to my horror see the entire floor under our table is a trash pit! The floor is littered with food remains, broken crayons (!), crayon wrappers (a destruction child had been there) and other dirt and debris. NO ONE HAD SWEPT UNDER THE TABLE. Probably not for several customers. I was horrified at the dirtiness of the restaurant and the fact they could actually seat customers at a table like this and keep a straight face. And if the Front of House is this dirty, and this careless and the staff is this untrained, then what on earth is going on in the kitchen? I don't want to know. At this point my husband asked, "Do you want to leave?". I said "Yes, absolutely.". I am not sitting in this pile of trash, in this dirty seat, and among these completely careless and untrained and unwelcoming staffers. As we walked out, I stopped at the Host Desk to inform them that we were leaving and WHY. There were at that time no less than four teenagers occupying the Host Station — two young ladies, and two young men. The surly-young hostess refused to look at us, as did the others. While I tried to address someone amongst them, they put up a collective resistance to anything we had to say, and literally refused to make eye contact, refused to listen to our complaint. I should also mention that at no time during this whole awful scenario did we ever see anyone who appeared to be a manager on duty. There was no adult to speak with. None. We did not see our waitress again either. While the two young ladies actively turned their backs on us, the. two young men, standing to the side of the host desk, glanced at each other and snickered and smirked. Imagine how infuriating this display of teenage bad behavior is to paying customers! Are dirty tables and seats and floors funny? Inexcusable behavior. If there is Mgr., they should be fired. Terrible, and we won't ever go back.

$109 plus tip for 4 plates of pasta, 3 sodas, a water, and extra alfredo sauce, including the 8.99 she charged us for mozzarella sticks we didnt order or recieve, I didn't feel like waiting so I could complain, just wanted out of there. The service was just ok, she was friendly. We went at 4pm before the dinner rush, the floor around the tables had food and stuff everywhere, do you all sweep? The food quality has gone way down, while the prices keep going up. Bathrooms were filthy. For the price we paid, we should've just gone and had prime rib somewhere. Now I remember why we quit going to Olive Garden years ago..

Obviously very short handed. Went at 3:00 on a Monday afternoon and the wait was over 30 minutes. Their food is not worth that. If they're that slow during off hours I can only imagine how bad it must be at lunch or dinner. I will never know, because I will never give them another opportunity.

Took 40 minutes to get a table, but they were accurate on their estimate. But once we were seated, it was bad. Everything was just not good. Our server was nice enough, but didn't seem to know how to serve? It took 20 minutes to get salad and bread sticks. Had to remind them about our drinks, then our drinks didn't come until after we were finished the salad, Even then two drinks were missing. 15 more minutes and a single glass of wine was still being "checked on", and then one of us was told that the other drink was out. Ordered more salad and bread sticks, but they never came. 30 minutes later our soups were delivered. Not good. And in the middle of the second sip of soup, our entrees arrived. Literally a minute after the soup was brought to the table. One plate was cold, the others scalding. Still no wine. And the only kid's meal at the table was the only one wrong - of all the people to get wrong, the food for the youngest, pickiest one was no good. We weren't gonna wait another hour for them to fix it, so we asked for boxes just to go. And surprise: they had "run out of"...regular sized takeout boxes. The dumbest shìt I've ever heard. Everyone had to pour entire plates of pasta into multiple burger-sized cartons. We were offered a bag and didn't see the server again. Bag was torn end to end. Literally had to bother someone coming out of the kitchen for a plastic bag. It was two tickets, one for each side of the table. Should have been a simple task - but we were billed for the entire ticket, so I had to manually split it on the stupid table kiosk. Comically bad. I cannot grasp how a huge chain like this gets it this wrong.

We love Olive Garden! It's our favorite place to eat in our family time. They always very friendly and the location in San Mateo its very clean. And all the employees are very professional.

Service was ok. Chicken was very overcooked for both my Chicken Parm and my wifes crispy chicken Alfredo. Normally we don’t have this issue every time we’ve ate here. Not sure what happened. It was a disappointing dinner to say the least.

This was a to go order placed a week in advance to pick up at 11:00 am today. However, the food wasn’t ready until 11:57 and there was no apology for it being really late. In fact, it seemed like they were very disorganized and completely unprepared to have the orders ready on time. I understand it is Valentine’s Day and there were probably a lot of to go orders but an hour late for a family order is not acceptable. It delayed our event. Also, the order was incomplete, missing a sauce and a dozen breadsticks. I’ve previously ordered at this location for other events and have never had this trouble but have to admit I’ll be hesitant to use this location in the future.

Service was great food was nasty

Excellent server and service. No one is ever going to pretend the food is great but it certainly isn't bad. They treated us well and the "waiting list" on their phone app worked perfectly on a crowded evening.

Waited an hour on a wait list just to be removed off the wait list almost an hour later after being told I will receive a text letting me know when a table will be ready. Came back inside to ask why I was removed from the wait list and the front lady (the same one that put me on the wait list) acted like this was the first time I had walked in, and put us on a wait list again, She said it could take an additional 30-40 minutes for a clean table for 2. Very disappointed in todays service especially with the front desk lady

I ordered the shrimp scampi with asparagus Sunday 2/4/24. A nice young gentleman brought my order to my car. However I was disappointed due to the fact all the asparagus was hard and stringy. That's what enticed me to order that entre in the 1st place. Also there were few shrimp in the entre. Perhaps olive garden can start putting asparagus tips instead of just the stems. Ty
