Pizza was ok. Ordered delivery but unfortunately pizza took over an hour to get to my place of work and the delivery driver was very rude. I did not appreciate being bothered about a tip. I get that it is your job but you are not entitled to one especially if it took a long time to get a pizza that is barely worth the money. If a tip is needed and obligatory, then make the tip part of you total or pay your employees better or just have them not pester customers. Thank you

Worst service ever, waitress named Paula told me and my family to wait outside. Walked in with my family and they just stared and didn’t greet us. Just gave us dirty looks and treated us like they didn’t even want us there. Who tells their customers to wait outside what kind of service is that. I expect better from this restaurant.

From the moment we walked through the door the attitude of the staff was awful! No warmth or welcome at all! We were a large party. We felt like an inconvenience to them. They did accommodate us but customer service was below a 1! We all ordered our drinks- my mother in laws drink was wrong (ordered a bud light bottle but came out as draught) when we asked the server he said ‘you asked for draught’ I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. If we hadn’t have already sat down we would have walked back out. Considering they work on tips they should have some lessons in customer service! Would not return

I ordered spaghetti with sausage. The sausage was very good, but the spaghetti was covered with just plain sauce. There was no flavor to it at all. on my first bite It tastes like chef Boyiar. D.

Service has always been good and definitely the best meatballs and red sauce in the area!!! Very good Italian dishes and large portions!!!

Really good pizza crust was on point.

What a great dining experience! Kendy was our server and she was on top of it. Prices are in line with the portion size. We have lots of leftovers! Restaurant was nice and quiet. Friendly staff. We will definitely be back.

We have been coming here for years and were skeptical on going back after I read the reviews thinking they went downhill. But we ordered pizza and calzone and both were delicious. Our service was great as well. We will continue to eat here every time we come back!

I just got back from AMI and I wanted to say, "OMA's pizza rocks!" After moving from New York a year ago, we tried a few different locations in central Florida, but none of them were even close to OMA's. The Sicilian pies and pizza were cooked to absolute perfection. Everyone in our family of ten agreed that it was just as good if not better than our NY pizza. We literally had it daily.

This place is a shame for Italian restaurants. I bring my family of 6 for dinner and instantly disappointed. Let start with the Waitress she was very rude since we enter the restaurant. This place is far away from welcoming customers to feel comfortable and the food was terrible from pizza dough to spaghetti sauce and meatballs . Glasses of water and soft drinks without ice in them. When they bring the check we try to split the $153 bill in 3 cards and waitress tell us I don’t have time to split the check with a very rude voice and attitude then they don’t even let you decide how much tipping you give because they added to the check we ended leaving about $30 on tip for bad service and bad taste food. I wouldn’t recommend this place to no one.

I wasn't impressed at all with the experience ! So when I ordered a small pizza, half supreme( Oma's special, and half cheese, they charged me for an entire Omas special price) Also a baseball team comes in with about 30 customers next to us and the server greets them advising them immediately that " it has to be on max 2 checks only, because it's all hand written and too difficult for them to do ) When I asked my server about charging me for an entire specialty pizza when I only received half of the pizza w toppings, he advises me that " you can try to tell the owners but they won't ever budge " I typically never write reviews on here but this was disturbing imo to say the least ! No matter how good the food is, the customer service and apparently owners " rules" and the delivery of such was horrible, harsh and not welcoming at all !! Very disappointed and they need to learn the concept of customer service !! There's too many pizza options to choose from on the island to be running your establishment like this !! I don't recommend if you've spent a day on the beach on vacation and are looking for a nice sit down experience! Maybe take out or if it's the last option !

Horrible sums it up in one word. We ordered the eggplant appetizer which was fried burnt, completely ovetdone. The calzone center was ice cold and had to go back. After eating half, we said we were done and wanted it boxed, but instead it got thrown out. Granted the calzone is large enough for two, but after adding three toppings.... $30 is crazy. Dirty, seats are in poor repair, floor gross. Needs major deep cleaning.

After a 9 hour drive to AMI, we decided first nights dinner would be pizza. We called our order in, picked it up, and thoroughly enjoyed the white pizza, a cheese pizza, and a caprese salad. Delicious!

Came here for lunch. We were disappointed from the very beginning, when the waiter met us, threw the utensils and was kind of annoyed. Took the order incorrectly and instead of one assorted pizza brought us 3 pizzas, then another waitress corrected it, the food itself pizza, lasagna and chocolate dessert were delicious, but the mood was spoiled by the waiter and his service, as well as the very atmosphere and cleanliness of the establishment was low

Waitress was very hateful and rude. Coming from a southern town the atmosphere was the least from welcoming and friendly and the food was mediocre. Glasses of water had maybe two ice cubes in them, wouldn’t recommend to my worst enemy!

This is a great local restaurant down to Mid-town in Anna Maria Island. We ordered pizza( newyork style) , alfredo fettuccine, and salads. The cheese on pasta was fresh. The pizza was decent. The best of all was Minestrone soup. The veggies, beans, and pasta in the soup were delicious. Would definitely visit when we are in town next.

Ordered a calzone and got what was essentially a cheese-lined breadstick full of raw onions. Not surprising they've been closed by the health department twice now

My family decided to order take out from here since most of the other restaurants were closed. We ordered mozzarella sticks, two Chicken Parmigiana subs, an Italian hoagie, French fries, a cheese pizza and a small antipasto salad. The order of mozzarella sticks was good and the portion was large. The Italian hoagie was good. The chicken Parmigiana was mediocre. The portion was large was the flavor was bland. The steak fries were good. The antipasto salad was good and the portion was large. The pizza sauce is bland but ok for a very basic pizza. Overall this restaurant was ok but I doubt that my family will order here again.

This is our favorite Italian restaurant in Brandenton Beach,FL. We have a timeshare week in Longboat Key, FL we come to every year and this is one of the few restaurants we come to every year. Best pizza ever

Our service and pizza was very good! Their marinara sauce is the BEST! Our waitress was Mia and she made sure we had refills the entire time and was super friendly to us and made buddies with my little boy! Highly recommend!

This place was one of our favorites on our trip to Bradenton. We got pizza, stuffed shells, and salads. Meal came with fresh hot bread. The food was excellent as was the service. We will be going back. Does have very limited parking though.

Everything was so so fresh, it was very homely, and the servers are extremely nice!!

We stumbled upon this hidden gem by chance. Our original intention was to dine at another pizza restaurant, but we were pleasantly surprised by the excellent cuisine at this establishment. The Sicilian pizza was a highlight, and the antipasto salad was a refreshing accompaniment. The shrimp scampi entree, despite consisting of only five shrimps, turned out to be a satisfying portion due to their generous size. Unfortunately, we were too eager to savor the dish and forgot to take a picture before we stated earing. Definitely going back!

I came with my husband and my two kids to dinner for the first time to buy pizza at Oma's, and we have received the worst treatment in the history of my adult life, from two of the waitresses to the person who served us at the register, 10 :12pm, the place closes at 11pm, more than 5 tables available and they did not allow us to sit, because they close at 11pm... if this is the case, they should clarify the hours and take a customer service course. Honestly, it's a place not to return. I understand why they have horrible papers written on the door requesting staff… because of the bad treatment, everyone will probably leave.

My wife and I went there for lunch today we had chicken Parm and antipasto salad. It was perhaps the best chicken Parm I’ve ever eaten a great restaurant tucked away right across from the Gulf of Mexico on Ana Maria Island. I would give it more stars if I wasn’t limited to just five.

We ordered a little bit of everything, lasagna, spaghetti, the house pizza, garlic bread, cheese sticks, mixed salad and everything was very good. Excellent price for five people for $135.00, I will visit again.

Killer NY style pie. Use to go to Omas all the time when I lived in the Btown 79-95. Live in Ga now and was glad to see it's still alive and well in May '24 AMI vacation! Had to hit it and get a pie, still the same as early 80s!

We had a dreadful experience and will never consider Oma's again. Our party was treated very poorly. The individuals working at Oma's are condescending, racist, and threaten and harass their customers. The place should be banned.

Oma's will always be a staple on our visits to the island. Their Calzone is delicious and easily feeds 3 people. I will say, read the menu thoroughly as the antipasta salad was not what we expected BUT that was our fault, not theirs.

Worst dining experience I’ve ever had. Our male sever was totally rude. Constantly left the door to outside open, which we were sitting right next to despite being told by other staff to keep it closed. Also ignored our table when we tried to get his attention on multiple occasions even though we would make eye contact. When leaving the restaurant we left a cash tip under the card holder and sever came out to follow us to our car and said “you know i work for tips” very aggressively and tried to argue with my husband. We kindly explained to him that it was under the card holder when we left. Would definitely never recommend.

Pizza and salad were great. We ordered take out but could see everyone was having a good time in the restaurant while we waited and the family works hard together. Love supporting a family business and we will be back when we visit again!

Don’t quite know where to start. The service, food and atmosphere all fell short of mediocre. We had a full night of food poisoning after our dinner. Most of our time there our waitress forgot half or our food. Would not recommend as there are lots of great places nearby with excellent food and service.

I have NEVER in my life had such horrible service. The waitress named “Paula” was extremely rude. she accidentally brought the wrong 2 drinks for the kids and when we politely told her she told us “no you didn’t order that” and continued to walk away from us saying “no you didn’t order that”. I have traveled Europe and been to thousands of restaurants and NEVER HAVE I EVER had such bad service. I would not recommend this place to anyone. She also put a WET RAG in front of my aunt and her 1 year old sons food and told my aunt she gave her the rag “to clean up your sons mess”. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE

This is the worst Customer service ever!!! I am a business owner and I believe customer service is very valuable to ALL customers. The waitress Paula was the worse I couldn’t believe how rude she was WOW crazy!!! From to start to end it was horrible!! I was extremely embarrassed with my niece who is down from Germany with how unprofessional the staff is!!!!! thankfully the rest of the family did not come and we will make sure to never go back to this place!!!

Oma's Special Pizza was one of the BEST Pizzas I've ever had.

My boyfriend and I love this place. We have gone several times both for dine in and take out- our only complaint is that they don’t deliver off the island which is totally understandable with the traffic. He grew up going to NJ beaches and I am originally from NY and this pizza reminds us both of the pizza back north. We love this place and can’t wait to try more of their menu☺️

I recently moved back to the area and was pleased when going to Oma's to find that they were still there and the food was still as good as I remembered. So few things are as good as remembered, treasure those that are.

Best pizza in Manatee-Sarasota counties. We order a cheese pizza with ricotta and garlic, and it is absolutely delicious. The people are very friendly, and obviously take pride in their quality and ingredients. After trying several places closer to home, I’m willing to take the ride from south Sarasota for this pizza. Other places need to take notes. Only criticism is that the indoor dining area isn’t exactly clean. Tons of dust on the blinds and the seating is in rough condition (although the kitchen looks very clean). We prefer to take out anyway. Will be a customer as long as we live in the area.

This was the best place ever. the pizza was really really good and everything was really good on the menu 👍 and they have pasta and everything you need to have a great time +the water was THE BEST I literally drank 2 full cups and almost did a third water is just AMAZING. Please eat here you won't regret it trust me👍👍

If I could rate lower I would! Rude service! Dirty! They treat you like complete trash and will not even substitute anything, simple as a cup of a soup instead of salad. Waiter was one of the rudest people I have ever met.

Uses to be our favorite place. This last visit was the end of that service was awful. As we were trying to leave I was getting our toddler out of the booth and a server slammed into with no apology. We had to ask 3 times for a to go box. The drinks were nothing but carbonation. The food was even lacking. For the prices I expected way better than this. We used to make a monthly trip over just for omas. We won't be returning.

Small restaurant with retro 4-seater seating areas inside and a small terrace outside that is located directly on Gulf Drive near the Cortez Bridge on AMI. Parking spaces in front of the door. The service was quick and friendly. As usual, the pizzas were very large and worth the price. The usual soft drinks and now a large selection of beers. Overall, Grandma's is good.

This was the bright spot for our dining experiences while on AMI. Every other restaurant had piss poor even ride service subpar food at best. OMAS on the other hand was outstanding. From rhe pizza, to the mandala to the Canoli. Best part? This is truly a family biz. Touched me seeing the grown daughter interaction with her mom. Great job folks!

Oma’s was a bright spot on an otherwise dreary evening. Popped into Oma’s on a rainy night. Wow - glad we tried it. Atmosphere is so cozy. And you can’t ask for nicer, helpful staff. Kinda felt like we were family. Of course, the most important thing is the food - and Oma’s was so good. I had the fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp - fresh and delicious. Everyone enjoyed their meal. I’ve heard the pizza is a ‘must try’ - so I can’t wait to get back for a few more taste tests.

Oma's slaps everytime! Hands down the best authentic Italian restaurant! Shout out to the man who delivered our food on Christmas Eve night, nicest delivery guy we have ever had! They said it would take about 45 minutes, but it got there in 20! Pizza slayed.

I hardly give bad reviews. But I went to Omar's today and ate some of the worst pizza ever. The dough was undercooked the sauce was tasteless and dry. I ate here a couple of other times around 8 years ago visiting family and the pizza was very good. Well now I live here and won't be back. Sorry I didn't leave a tip but it was that bad.

Pizza at best is average. They didn’t put a lot of sauce on the pizza and it was not tasteful. Service was great. Other pasta dishes looked good but we only had the pizza.

Me and my fiancée come to the island every year for the past 4 years I grab pizza at least 3 times for the 10 days we spend here and it has been consistently amazing every time we have it. My step daughter doesn’t like pizza and she eats it. Something different of a sauce sweet but not to sweet and an excellent crispy crust definitely worth the stop

Two friends pull up to a bar and order the pizza. Great crust, full toppings small size ordered just enough for a late night snack.

Menu says one drink refill and they did not honor that, said it was the old menu. Mopped floors with pungent cleaning product during the end of our meal, at 9:15 and they don't close until 11:00. Pizza and garlic bread were undercooked. Would not recommend.

My family and I are visiting florida for a week, and this has been the best food we’ve eaten so far. We just ordered a large pepperoni pizza, but it was absolutely delicious. When I went in and picked it up, everyone was super nice, I even talked to a ton of other customers who were also very nice, very approachable as well. I tipped, and the lady told me that people who dine in don’t even tip, which shocked me very much. I loved this place and would very much recommend it to everyone! — also something that was very cool, as soon as you walk in, you can see the cooks making the food behind the counter!

The service was just alright, however, the food is nasty. Chicken in the Chicken Parm was def frozen and microwaved. Super rubbery and dry. Made with dollar store cheese and cheap bread.

This is an OG restaurant and I know why its been around so long…. The food is fantastic. Friends and I had a bacon and mushroom pizza along with a side of penne alfredo and cheesy garlic bread. It was the perfect meal to end a long and fun day on the island. I suggest patio dining.

Amazing food. Service was fast friendly. Pizza was cooked perfectly, and toppings were top self. Fettuccine alfredo was the best I've ever had. The flavor was perfect, rich, and creamy. Veal Parmigiano was cooked perfect.

This is a wonderful restaurant, and they’ve been consistently providing the best pizza for so many years on Anna Maria. I love the entire vibe of the restaurant and it’s also great for takeout. Oma’s, Thank you for sharing your amazing food and giving me so many wonderful memories.
