Had the shrimp and grits, wife had shrimp tacos, didn’t grab any pictures but portions and presentation were very good. It’s a fish house in OP, so I don’t go for the atmosphere, that said seemed like a lot of happy patrons, definitely will return.

Great food. Fav brunch spot. Bottomless Bloody Mary’s and Mimosas. Jenna is fantastic!

Love the food. Love the place. The atmosphere probably isn’t for everyone. A little cramped. But man we can’t wait to go back. The gator bites were amazing. This is much better than some of the fish camps that get all the hype.

What an excellent find, stopped by the Orange Park Fish House for lunch and I'm glad I did. Had the 2 fish special, trigger and grouper, they were quite tasty. Jenna did an outstanding job as my server and was a pleasure to converse with. I'll definitely be coming back here!!

Stopped in for lunch. 2 orders of local peel and eat shrimp were tough. Brunch chicken biscuits and gravy came out cold. Server was quick to get the food back, but the kitchen just microwaved the food as the same plate came back out scorching hot. The brunch meal was ok, I believe it would have been great if it was fresh. In my experience- the service was ok and for the price compared to the quality of food I received, there are better options out there.

First time coming on .60 oysters Wednesday. I would definitely recommend making an early reservation. There was a table that came in after us and left because they ran out of oysters. Everything was just ok. I might try it one more time on a different day. It was nothing special. Parking is horrible. That was definitely a turn off!!!

What a treat today! My husband and I tried new tacos on the menu and we were both blown away. The tacos were delicious and the best thing we've had at OP Fish House and we've been coming here for years. Will definitely have to come back for those. So yummy and the atmosphere is so friendly.

I used to work in OP and OP Fish House was my work lunch at least twice a week. Today my wife and I returned to see if it was still as good and we were surprised to find it had gotten even better. I'm a "order the same thing ever time" kind of guy and I couldn't this time not because my favorite mahi was gone but because they had new things on the menu that looked too good to pass up. New menu items, same great atmosphere and honesty the prices haven't gotten that bad in relation to the terrible economy. OP Fish House has always been and still is our favorite restaurant in the area and id recommend it before anything else. Try the fried banana peppers and ask for Priscilla use super nice.

I didn’t get enough food for the money I spent there

This is the filthiest restaurant I have ever been in. The vents in the side dining room looked like they had never been cleaned, and the kitchen is worse. My crab was way overdone. Never again

First visit as we're from out of town. Wife found it on Google and we thought we'd give it a try. Excellent choice! Food was fresh and delicious. Everyone in our party enjoyed their meal. Will make a return visit when we're in town again.

Passing thru OP and stopped for lunch. Fish Tacos were excellent and chowder was yummy. Lauren was our server and was exceptional. Great place in a turn of the century former home. Go check them out you will be glad you did.

This place is off the chain. I can't say enough good things about the food and the service. It is incredible if in the area and you love seafood you won't be disappointed. Plus, the portions are really nice size.

Very disappointed. Have eaten at OP Fish House numerous times in the past and have always thought it was excellent. Had lunch there today and it was not good. First off the place is filthy!!!. The air duck in the ceiling and surrounding area looks like it hasn't been cleaned in years. Walls and base boards are disgusting. Floors are gross. Service was not good. The server brought my oysters and no cocktail sauce. By the time she finally did return the oysters were cold. We also had a grouper sandwich and the filet did not have the blood line removed. Not very appetizing. Also fish sandwich a strong vinegar taste. Had sweet potato fries and they were sprinkled with powdered sugar ... WTH. No mention of it on the menu.

Wonderful experience for lunch. Jenna was tending bar and made some delicious Bloody Mary’s. The blackened Trigger fish and pimento grits were delightful. Highly recommend.

7/16 made a reservation for 5 for 730. It is now 7:24. We let the hostess know we were here for a reservation for 730. Said sorry we gave it to another party of 5 that just came in. Tell me how that works. Was told there was a wait time. Never coming back. Don’t make a reservation. It does not work.

Didn’t even get to eat there because we made a reservation but when we arrived we were told that they couldn’t reserve the table for us so we’d have to wait and they couldn’t tell us how long we’d have to wait. Make it make sense!!

Delicious seafood, accommodated a gluten-free/dairy free allergy. We had crab legs, mahi mahi and fresh oysters. Great service and the Mermaid Tale drink is delicious. Will be back! Also, it's in a neat old historic home 🙂

My husband and I went last night to meet some family for dinner. I was a little disappointed, I had my heart set on the Crabcakes. They ran out🥲 oh well, so I ended up getting there Shrimp N Grits. OMG!!! Those were by far the best I've ever had. The service was a little slow, but over all great place to eat. If you like quite and home feel kinda restaurants, this is your place for sure. We will definitely be back.

Cocktail sauce taste more like ketchup. Alaskan crab tastes very good but didn’t come out of the shell easily. Oyster place, no tabasco even though owner knows its desired as Wednesday night oyster night people bring their own tabasco(flag on the owner). Shrimp fair but im extremely particular with shrimp as i know them well being a local snd catch them. I might mention its very warm inside. Lauren st the bar was exceptional…

Lauren was awesome although it was a little girly drink. Excellent food, the place it’s just a little hot. Hope the replace gets bigger but I like the old style the place has.

I tried the steamed oysters, on special! I was so pleasantly surprised at how gently they were cooked, the size, and they were warm, just the way I like them! 😋 perfect! 👌

Fish dip, coconut shrimp were ridiculously delish. Soup was amazing. Lobster ravioli truly was peppered with lobster chunks in the sauce and in the pasta. Chocolate cake was truly a great finale. My Grandson couldn't get enough. Staff was 1st class and super fun and efficient. Great job.

I love this place!!! Anytime I work in Orange Park I stop here for lunch. Lauren and Jenna are amazing!!!! I have turned several of my clients onto this place as well. Definitely a place to try out.

Great seafood. Always fresh food and great service. The parking lot is gravel and kinda small but it's an amazing restaurant.

The wife and I go every other Tuesday for AYCE shrimp. Lauren has been our server the last 3 times and has been exceptional 1st time she was outstanding, 2nd time she knew our drink of choice (unsweetened ice tea with limes) 3rd time seated us no menus brought our drinks and shrimp with sides with no prompting. It is a pleasure having a server remember you. Only criticism I have is please get the A/C fixed in the bar area soon.

Great place, great time. Sat at indoor bar last 2 times. Taylor took care of us first night and was awesome. Great personality and made the stay wonderful. Lauren was there the next time and was also fantastic. I gave atmosphere only 4 stars due to the lack of A/C, but the fans and Taylor and Lauren well made up for it. Fix the A/C and place will be perfect. Best seafood in OP!!

We’ve stopped here two years in a row on our way through town and have enjoyed every visit! Food portions are enormous and fresh and the service is great.

Wow! Found this place online and omg. So good. Brussels,bang bang shrimp, and then huge main courses! And to top it off….key lime pie! Will def be back again. And again.

Prices were reasonable for the quality and portion size for the food. We ordered the gator bites as an appetizer but ate all before I could take a photo. The best thing we got was the ravioli with the lobster, it was $33, super thick and creamy and you get alot for your money and there was a hefty amount of lobster in the ravioli meal. I got the po boy sandwich meal, which comes with one side. I got the Oysters. The sandwich itself was pretty good and fresh. I really enjoyed the sweet potatoe fries it came with also I love the marshmallow fluff for the fries such a good idea. 10/10 will be coming back again. Also the waitress was super amazing and attentive!

We.eat at OP Fish house too much! (Jk, can never eat here enough!) The food is fresh, the staff are so welcoming and fun and if you want to have the best experience, ask for BELLA!

This restaurant is inside an old historic house, so the sitting is a little tight. The atmosphere and service are good. Reservations are not required but will help with wait time. The food is very enjoyable. I had the whole fried flounder. This is a good place for seafood.

Drinks on the patio bar were the perfect to relax while we waited for our reservation. My wife LOVED the mermaids tail. Food was outstanding. Service was outstanding.

This place is awesome! Nice atmosphere and attentiveness from servers and bartender. Poke bowl was delicious as well as the crab legs. Highly recommend the grouper bites and crab soup as well. We will definitely be back to enjoy more good groceries!

Poor service, long wait with empty tables. Food not prepare as listed on menu, hair on oyster. Out of coleslaw, nasty green beans. Was a favorite until tonight.

This was our first time going to the OP Fish House & Oyster Bar and did not disappoint! It was extremely phenomenal! We got the Seafood Bloody Mary it was amazing and went great with the Fried Green Tomatoes. Then we got the Lobster Roll with homemade Rustic Mash Potatoes in addition, we got the Blackened Grouper Fish Tacos with Coleslaw and Stuffed Blackened Grouper with Crabmeat stuffing with a side of Coleslaw!! Finally, we ordered the Key Lime Pie which was full of flavor and not over powerfu it had a Meringue topping with strawberries and blueberries on top and on the side. We will definitely be back everything was 10/10 including the service!!

Another wonderful outing to the Fish Hpuse. I of course ordered all the oysters and fish tacos w/ the bang bang sauce. They are my go to items and they fill you up. A must try if you haven't The service is always friendly and timely. I love it here!

The food was seasoned great and very flavorful. I ordered the stuffed grouper and it was an excellent choice. My only complaints is the grits were a little too watery. They were still very tasty. My wife ordered the shrimp and lobster omelette. It was massive and delicious. We had gator tail for an appetizer and they were very delicious.

Jenna was so attentive, and the food was amazing! My husband enjoyed the Lobster & Grits, our daughter had the biscuits & gravy & I had the Breakfast Burrito. Everything was so delicious. Bottomless Mimosa & Bloody Mary's top it all off. We will be back!

The OP Fish House is literally a house built in the early 1900's. It's cute and quaint. The menu is diverse. Lots of apps and entrees to choose from. We had the bleu cheese, bacon, and fried oyster deviled eggs and the crab stew, which was more of a chowder than a traditional stew, but both were excellent. The wife had a lobster roll, packed full of fresh lobster and butter. She liked it a lot, although she wished there was some mayo to break up the butter on the lobster. I had the cheese tortellini with shrimp in a creamy white wine sauce. It was very tasty, but it was HEAVY. Portions were large. Also, best fries in Jacksonville. Very tasty! They don't have Heinz ketchup, so that's disappointing. The hush puppies were dense, but very tasty. For two people, with sodas and all of the above food plus tip, it was about $120. It didn't feel over-priced for what we got, but it probably isn't somewhere we would go several times a week. We are planning on returning, though. We want to try the fresh oysters and the 3/4 lb burger on the menu. The parking was tight and it wasn't obvious from where we parked, but entering from the rear of the building might be easier.

Seating is not comfortable. Too many people crammed in one room. There were flies being a nuisance. The food was the only thing that I would say was good.

Flues galore. Room we were in was hot. Sweating the entire meal.

Out of three meals for my table, two were not appealing to look at and tasted bad. Cooks were having trouble cooking eggs on more than one order. Man at next table questioned the look of his eggs and said if your cook can’t cook eggs he is not a very good cook. All my food didn’t come out together. To make it worse a/c not working right and we could wait to leave the place. Waitress said cooks were new… obviously no one was holding anything that came out of the kitchen to any standard. Only bright spot was waitress listened to complaint, apologized and took the meals off the bill.

I had shrimp tacos and they were very good! He had stuffed grouper and said it was the best he had ever had. We are from Georgia, but come down here about twice per year, this will definitely be our first choice seafood house. Lauren took excellent care of us. Always checking on us and refilling our drinks.

Literally the best seafood in Jacksonville - let me explain, Monday, $12 crab 🦀 with purchase of appetizer. You military? Get 30% off said appetizer - Yum Yum. You need a reservation, don't roll in there without you or else you'll get your little heart broken - food is mad good.

Second time coming here , and was not impressed. Ordered 2 dozen oysters and they were totally blandThe rest of our dinners the same. Loved the deviledegg spp though.

My complaint isn’t with the staff or management. It’s with the owner. Half the facility isn’t air conditioned. If the guests are hot and fanning themselves than I guarantee the kitchen is too hot to be working in. The staff deserve to be taken care of just as much as the patrons. In the Florida heat it isn’t crazy to consider a 100 degree kitchen to be a hazardous work environment. Kinda surprised OSHA hasn’t been involved.

Food was very good. The service people are very friendly and helpful. Atmosphere is not too bad, however it is a small place inside, (It used to be a private home.) If you feel claustrophobic, it's best if you eat out on their patio.

Jenna, the bartender was incredible!!!! She was so sweet and made sure our glass was never empty. Great conversation. We ordered shrimp tortellini extra blackened and it came out perfect. I asked to compliment the chef and Freddy came out and spoke to our table. AMAZING!!! The brunch special was 10 out of 10. They deserve a raise !!!!!!!

We frequent Op fish house often and it’s always top tier! Jenna (the manager) always takes great care of us, speakers to us, is very attentive, friendly and always makes sure everything is perfect (which it always is). The chef Freddy makes THE best shrimp tortellini and the stuffed grouper is delicious! We love it here if you haven’t tried it you definitely should! 10/10 recommend……check out the weekend brunch deals!!

Last time I visit this place. Ever since they started reservations last two times we have came to eat there were tons of open tables but yet they say there is an hour wait. It didn't used to be like that and Everytime I see people leaving because they don't want to wait. I guess they like money walking out the door.

Me and my wife got a doze raw oysters and then split the pick 3 dinner. The oysters were huge, but not very good. The Mahi was a little over cooked, the honey glazed salmon was good, and the scallops were great.

Sat at the bar, and the bartender took great care of us. Great food and friendly service. The restaurant is made out of a really old house and has a very unique atmosphere. The only negative thing that I have to add is that there is a huge hole in the driveway. I'm glad we drove our SUV, as my sports car would have been damaged if I had attempted to enter. They said they were remodeling soon, so I'll bet this gets fixed. We'll be back!

Had a Wonderful time at the OP Fish House and Oyster Bar! Oysters were awesome! Had them Raw and also Rockefeller (Parm,spinach,Onions,Bacon topped) wife had the 3 Fresh Fish Selection with 2 Sides Broiled. Trigger Fish can never go wrong! Scallops were cooked perfectly and the Mahi! Everything was seasoned perfectly! If you get a chance to get Royal Reds on Shrimp do so! They are sweet and with butter have a lobster taste! Good selection of Beer and Wine! Red Sangria was perfect not overly sweet but not dry either! Have to give a shout out to Bella our server she did a great job and the evening perfect! Place is set inside a house and we sat in the front which was not secluded but didn't seem overly crammed or noisy. They have a neat section on the porch as well. Collards had a bacon smoked taste and the pimento cheese grits were very good!

Lauren was awesome! She’s super kind and I’m sure ready to be company president but said she’d settle for serving old people their oysters and gin.

The food is generally good. The seafood is fresh, large portion and well prepared; the sides are just average. The largest issue is accessibility. The restaurant is an old converted home. The restroom in the main house is completely inaccessible by wheelchair and would be very difficult with a walker. We were directed to a larger bathroom in the second part of the restaurant where the hallway to the bathroom was blocked with chairs that I had to move myself even though there was an employee sitting at a table. There were grab bars, but the bathroom door had an uneven threshold that made negotiating it in wheelchair very difficult. I am a therapist who is used to navigating wheelchairs and it was a very frustrating experience trying to take my mom to lunch. I would advise anyone who needs disability accommodations to either order take out or dine somewhere else.

Jasmine was an amazing bar tender and server. She knows how to choose the best wine for the food you order. Jenna was very attentive and fast with a great attitude! Definitely recommend you ask for one of them when you come here!

Went to OP Fish House for lunch today, had the seafood combo and boiled local (Mayport) shrimp. The food was excellent, the service was exceptional and the atmosphere is great! Hats off to the Team, really appreciate you all. 😀

Food was top tier. The restaurant is a cute pink old converted house with an outside deck area. The service was quick, efficient, and our waitress was super friendly. The balsamic glazed Brussel sprouts are a new favorite for me. Price point is completely accurate for the amount and quality of food they serve. I absolutely loved the experience.

Priscilla was the best server she was very attentive and friendly with great recommendations! The food was awesome I recommend the shrimp n grits! Drinks came out fast and tasted great

This place is awful. There was a window open at the end of the bar and the flies were everywhere. It was very hot in there and the food was terrible. The oysters were all breading and the scallops were gritty. The fish and shrimp were good but the devil crab smelled and tasted spoiled. Let most of our food not to mention we spent over $100 for 3 people. The waitress was over worked and almost never got our ticket to pay. NEVER EVER AGAIN. OUR SECOND TIME BUT NEVER AGAIN.

We recently had a early dinner at the OP Fish house ~ The ambiance of the restaurant wasn't the best. It was hot inside because of poor ventilation BUT the food was great ~What was even better was the service we received from Jenna ~ Jenna absolutely made our dining experience awesome ~ from her light hearted jokes, great smile and honest food recommendations, we will definitely be patronizing OP Fish House Again soon

Had an amazing dinner with friends on their gorgeous patio. Jenna was an absolute pleasure to have as our server, she was so attentive and made fantastic recommendations! We will absolutely be back, can't wait for the next dinner here.

It had been over a year since we had eaten here and after our experience this evening we will be coming back soon and often. Jasmine was our server and she was absolutely delightful! She was super helpful, offered great suggestions, and just made our visit that much more enjoyable. We were eating light so just ordered two appetizers, the Grouper Nuggets and Brussel Sprouts. They were both delicious, but the Brussel sprouts were crazy, out-of-this-world, fantastic!!! WOW! So happy to have a restaurant like this in OP! We'll be back soon!

We came here for lunch while visiting JAX. The restaurant is in an older building on the main road. The atmosphere is great. As I stated, it’s an older building and lived in. The house has been converted to a restaurant. Promptly greeted upon arrival. The service was amazing, Jenna was so nice, friendly, and had great recommendations. Price on oysters is very competitive and good money for the size that we had. The trigger fish sandwich was very tasty and so were the house made hush puppies! We will definitely be back!
