I purchased a set of day old Delaware chicks from Todd. The quality of the birds was very high, the whole transaction was extremely professional, and he followed up promptly with great answers to follow up questions AFTER the sale was closed. I would recommend to anyone looking for high quality birds.

A beautiful accommodation in North Carolina in Pinnacle. A bed & breakfast full of suites on the inside, with the outside serenity of mountains and farm fields. As shared by Todd and Lisa, this is a tranquil, spiritual setting full of family history surrounded by nature's home.

This was a great bed and breakfast! I stayed here during the weekend of August 26th as part of the wedding party. The facilities are remarkably clean, the grounds are amazing, there was plenty of parking, and the hosts were beyond reproach. Todd and his wife have such a lovely and welcoming home! Moreover, the food was absolutely amazing! The first morning we had a egg bake, spiraled apples that were sautéed with cinnamon, fruit, coffee, tea, and an assortment of other treats. The second morning was a breakfast buffet that was AMAZING! Todd cooked the best bacon I have ever tasted before, and I am a connoisseur of bacon. Overall, it was a lovely setting and I would recommend it to anyone without a moment of hesitation. If you are looking for a nice rural setting nestled against Pilot Mountain, it will provide peace, tranquility, quiet, and a place to heal your spirit from the busied rush of life. Go spend a weekend there, and you will not regret it!

Amazing views and food. Run by a great couple who truly understand hospitality and farm-to-table cooking. Fun for the entire family with game room and lots of animals to see on the farm.

Todd and Lisa were such a joy. The mighty oak bed and breakfast has a sense of a home away from home with high class elegance and beautiful mountain views. The breakfast (farm to table) was absolutely delicious and the atmosphere was whimsical and memorable. My husband and I also loved the farm tour after breakfast. We visited to celebrate our honeymoon and left knowing we would visit again soon! Look no further for amazing hospitality with kind hearted Christian service in the community. Upon leaving they provided a fresh packed lunch to end our adventure on pilot mountain state park. Unforgettable trip!!

We loved our stay at the Mighty Oak Bed and Breakfast / Intended Way Farm. The country setting is so peaceful, and the mountain views are beautiful. Everything inside the B&B was sparkling clean. The food was delicious and plentiful-every day brought wholesome new menu items. We really appreciated the emphasis on serving nutritious and local fare (much is grown organically right on their farm). Todd and Lisa are so friendly, helpful, and gracious. We left feeling that we have made new friends. Plus, we learned a lot of valuable information about eating and gardening that we can use in our lives. This is a unique and healthy place, and we definitely plan to return to A Mighty Oak B&B when we are in North Carolina!

We recently were traveling in North Carolina and enjoyed a stay at Todd and Lisa Morse's A Mighty Oak Bed & Breakfast Inn. What a pleasant and family like environment to encounter with excellent and very comfortable facilities to lodge. Their management staff is second to none. Their hospitality is superb. Their accommodations are spacious, very clean and immaculate. The room decor is excellent and very appealing with the view's of Pilot Mountain being exquisite while hearing the roosters crowing at the start of a new day. The price is right while courtesy and respect is expressed to you through the QUALITY of your stay at A Mighty Oak Bed & Breakfast. The Morse family take great pride in their business and inn. Their farm to table and organic philosophy and passion is unique which yields to a very inviting and pleasing stay to relax, rest and to appreciate. We vote thumbs up and highly recommend A Mighty Oak Bed & Breakfast. Stayed December 2015

This place is absolutely perfect. We rented out all of their rooms for four nights in September, for my sisters wedding in the same town. It was my sisters and me, and my mom and her sisters. We flew in from LA, SF, Nashville, VT, and NH. The grounds were absolutely picturesque and charming. Each room was warm and cozy, and the owners Todd and Lisa, were kind, interesting and helpful. Each breakfast was lovingly cooked and delicious, and we especially appreciated their thoughtful farm to table approach. It rained the entire time we were there, which really didn't matter and we felt so warm and comfortable in the bed & breakfast. We went for walks or runs along the lovely country roads each morning, and explored some of the small towns in the afternoon. I can't imagine too many circumstances that would bring you to this area, but if I ever have any reason to get anywhere near, I will stay here.

“Incredible food and accommodations!” 5 of 5 starsReviewed 1 week ago We have a group of friends who have travelled to many places around the world and always seek out the "local flavor". This time we decided to explore our own backyard - beautiful NC hill country. A Mighty Oak B&B is world class. Todd and Lisa made us all feel welcome from the very minute we entered their inn. The entire place was spotless, warm and welcoming. Their pride is apparent down to the smallest detail. They have a working farm and we were treated to "farm to table" meals that were all as delicious as they were beautiful. They offer breakfast every day and are willing to accommodate other meals as well, just check ahead of time. The Morse's along with their daughter Lily prepared two dinners for us and the menu based on what was seasonally available. Everything was prepared so well you could taste the love put into each item. Their son may only be 16 but is heavily involved with all aspects of running the farm. I recommend the farm tour - it will give you a really good sense of the thought and work that goes into the many aspects of running a farm and how that dovetails into the B&B. The home is situated with an incredible view of Pilot Mountain in the back yard. Far enough away to feel like you have escaped yet still convenient to modern conveniences. The rooms were all well appointed, clean and oh so comfortable. Perfect. My mouth is watering as I write this review. The whole concept of farm to table is simply beautiful. The food is raised with out pesticides, hormones, additives, etc., and is prepared at the peak of freshness as it is available through out the year. We will be back and can without question recommend A Mighty Oak B&B. Treat yourself to an amazing experience. Room Tip: We were lucky enough to get one of the rooms that faces Pilot Mountain - loved it!

Our group of 10 rented the entire B&B for a recent weekend while attending the Yadkin Valley Grape Festival and had a fabulous time. Todd, Lisa and their daughter, Lily kindly agreed to provide dinners for us in addition to breakfasts which were all beautifully presented and sumptuously delicious. Our rooms were attractive, comfortable and spotless. Our hosts defined hospitality and made us feel right at home. Highly recommended!!
