The bar service was great and the food was good, but the chef was quite rude. We sat down at a high top in the bar, and after the server gave us menus and asked if we wanted drinks, the chef came out and told us we had to move. He wasn’t polite about it. He said the high top was reserved, even though no one had previously informed us of that. After we moved, a restaurant employee apologized to us and said the chef is rude to others as well. Disappointing because the staff is otherwise very nice and the food is good.

This is my favorite restaurant on Jamestown! The food and service are great, and the decor inside is really nice! Try the house made chips!

Had a burger and truffle fries. Was good. Service was good Outdoor seating was in the parking lot. Indoor seating was not fancy at all Husband and I both ordered desserts Carrot cake and lemon squares Did not care for either Carrot cake was dry with just a skim of frosting Lemon squares were bland Took home but ended up throwing away Ok for lunch, but wouldn’t go back for dinner

Intriguing ambience and superhuman servers. How does Matt know the whole menu on his second day working? Very impressive. I consumed the fig and brie burger, which I requested as a joke. Unsurprisingly, it was incredibly gooey. Surprisingly, it was the Best Burger I've Ever Had. Imagine that—a gooey burger that tasted good! I believe Chef Marc must have special abilities. My sister ingested the sad mac and cheese—I believe this is false advertising, seeing as the mac and cheese was, in fact, delicious, and not at all sad. We would like compensation for being misled. Perhaps in the form of more mac and cheese. The lemon bars were exquisite; 4 were not enough. Try the lemon bars. Your taste buds will thank you. Finally, I would like to address the bathroom on the right. Do not worry, dear reader, for nothing in this bathroom can hurt you. Do not fear the friends in there. They are not there to judge, only to keep you company. Enjoy the presence of these deities, do not push them away. As I said... Do. Not. Fear. They can smell it.......

We really enjoyed our dinner, although service was a little slow that evening. We were greeted by a very friendly woman, who I suspect might be an owner, although despite her association, she couldn't have been any more personable. I loved my lobster roll, & we thought that our apple cider donuts from the bakery were really delicious.

A homey restaurant with excellent food and service. We tried almost all the apps and they were consistently excellent as were the entrees. The desserts were delicious and homemade, which is very rare for a restaurant today.

Chef/Owner Marc Alexander is a genuine human being. He was friendly and professional. Shannon our server was awesome. The food was fresh and delicious. The Lamb burger, prepared chefs' choice, was incredible. The salmon dishes were extremely fresh and tasty. Save room for dessert. All desserts are made in house.

She even came over during the meal to make sure we were doing well. According to our kind server, she also gets up every day super early to make the most delicious desserts! You HAVE to try! The food was well prepared and presentation was great. I had a food restriction and they accommodated to my liking (although it looked good as-is)! The chips with the artichoke dip was incredible. I had the scallops which were Devine and more scallops than most restaurants give. I was happy & full. Again, the desserts - we all shared because we wanted to try each one. Would 100% come back again!

tasty. There are vegetarian dishes. fast service. Clear menu. Beautiful location close to the beach. A short walk away there is a stunning view of the bay and the bridge. It is especially recommended to come on the evening of a full moon.

Horrible service !! Stay away if your a party of five or more walked with my family of four plus a baby host refused to either split our family to make it easier to accommodate us to sit . Mind I tell you place was empty , was advised the seats that were empty was reserved and I can only sit outside never again . No emotion what so ever couldn't give us anything not even a wait time was more worried that she was unable to accommodate a part of 5 can only imagine other families that may have ran into the same issue if it's only reservations only something should be mention on the website

Creative menu and extensive home made dessert choices. The tomato soup was outstanding. We ordered linguine with clams and the lamb burger. We were happy with both orders. Save room for the desserts

Great dinner! We had the grilled oysters, Caesar salad, lobster roll, salmon and key lime pie for dessert. All was fabulous!!

Wonderful, fresh, inventive takes on very well-prepared comfort food. Very reasonable prices for what you receive. Save room for desert!!! A new local favorite in Jamestown.

Fantastic experience, the food delicious and thoughtfully and expertly made - the coffee was excellent and the dessert - specifically - the homemade donuts and lemon squares - perfection. Try it you will have a great time.

Ridiculously small portions for the pasta and clam sauce - literally 3 spoonfuls of pasta. Had to be a mistake but the chef said everything is portion controled!

I came here with my husband and daughter last night while on vacation. The food was amazing. I considered the shrimp and grits but passed because I was afraid they’d be too spicy. My husband got it and said they were delicious but definitely would have been too spicy for me. I opted for the citrus chicken which was amazing. We took dessert to go. My husband got the bread pudding and I got the carrot cake. One of the best carrot cakes I’ve ever had. If I had to complain I’d say I wish there had been a little more frosting. If I’m ever in the area I’d definitely come back

The server, Jessica was absolutely wonderful! She made recommendations that were spot on. Shrimp and grits were amazing, full of flavor! Portion size was reflective of the price. Ribeye was cooked to perfection. If you like red wine, try the Rebellious Red. Bread pudding was decadent and amazingly delicious. Best restaurant I have been to in a long time. Thank you for a wonderful meal. Can't wait to come back!

Really enjoyed a great al fresco dinner with awesome food and an over the top dessert. The salmon and chicken were grilled just right. Definitely leave room for dessert. Shout out to Huriye for excellent service and recommendations. We will be back.

I had the burger, it was one of the better burgers I have had. Brisket and short rib perfectly seasoned and seared. We also had the fried pork belly, it too was delicious. My wife loved her Tuna Poke Bowl. Jessica, our server, was attentive without being in the way and was a great help with questions about the menu. We'll definitely be back.

An amazing experience! Every single dish was absolutely perfect! Highly recommend the pork belly appetizer! The owner even came by, welcomed us and told us a little about her place! We will definitely be back!

Be warned, they are open until 10 BUT thr kitchen closes at 8:30 on a Saturday!!! That's a first, especially in restaurant district.

Really wanted to enjoy this place and have tried it 4 times over 6 months before writing a review. The owners are LOVELY and personable which I believe drives much of the stellar reviews. There's a friendly neighborhood vibe and great homemade desserts including the best bread pudding ever. Unfortunately the main menu misses the mark. We've sampled everything from the vegetarian bowl, to the "simply grilled" chicken to the burger. The portion sizes have noticeably decreased since our first visit both for dine in and takeout. The flavors/quality are subpar and our latest meal was entirely char tasting that even the french fries and pickle tasted of smoke/burnt grill. Would love to see a little more focus on well executed main meals to justify the pricepoint.

This place exceeded my expectations. I live in a small apartment above the restaurant — I’m regretful I waited this long to finally stop by. I am a kitchen manager, family trade, so good food and service are a huge treat for me. I wanted to try something simple so went with their burger. Clearly hand formed, the brisket blend had great flavor and it was grilled to a near perfect medium. The hospitality was fantastic — Marla happily greeted me at the door on what looked like a very busy Friday. Needless to say, I’ll be back. Hopefully dine-in next time — the facility is beautiful and the staff friendly & efficient. Love to see it!

We really enjoyed our dinner here. The staff was very friendly. Chicken Milanese and burgers were great. We also really liked the desserts - there are many options and many baked goods to go, including cookies and cider donuts. The place has its own parking lot and a decent number of tables.

We had a unique high table location facing the street, but it was fine. The vibe and atmosphere was nice, the poboy sliders were ok, my wife loved the clams and I was ok abt the Lamb burger. Ricotta cake was good as well. We loved the ambiance of the place, red wine terrific, the food was fine, not outstanding but very serviceable, a nice neighborhood restaurant.
