While my meal was probably one of the best shaved sirloin steak sandwiches I’ve ever had, it was pricey and on the smaller side. The ingredients were top quality and it really melted in my mouth. The very tasty and overly large order of potato fries heaped over the sandwich were filling. If not for the fries, I would have departed unsatisfied and still hungry. She ordered the truffle dressing arugula salad and said it was good. We shared an appetizer ( five deviled eggs with bacon pits sprinkled over them and pickle garnish…$15! Really?!). She had two alcoholic drinks. I drank plain iced tap water, as I was driving. Total bill, before a 15% tip was $106. Now, some readers may think $106 for a salad app shaved sirloin sandwich two drinks and a small app is acceptable. I don’t. Directly across the street from a major university, Oxford Exchange caters to the monied student and faculty crowd out spending their scholarship $ or Mom and Dad’s stipend. It’s upscale and everyone dresses nicely, and are well-behaved. It’s not a hard core intellectual scene, but it can be assumed that the collective IQ of the clientele would be above average. We didn’t engage with anyone but the hostess and the waitress: both were cordial, polite and kept it light and efficient. So, no unnecessary snootiness here, to reflect the sticker shock. Normally, when we find a restaurant that checks all of the boxes, we will return. Oxford Exchange is a well cared for traditionally designed British-style establishment that’s literally ALWAYS booked up and requires reservations. Yes, you’ll get good service, food, atmosphere and might run into someone you know if you’re local…but have fun trying to hold a conversation with them or anyone else: the noise level is extremely high. I guess that translates into loads of $$$ at the tills. And yes, you’re going to pay about twice what you would pay at a franchise restaurant like Ruby’s or Longhorn etc…All in all, it was an interesting change.

Had a wonderful brunch! The Bakrd Eggs were absolutely delicious! Such a wonderful flavor! And the sourdough toast was perfect for dipping in the tomato sauce! We shared the whipped feta and it was amazing! We also all shared a side of pancakes that were a wonderful end to our Brunch! Everyone loved their meals! Enjoy! Oh and ask for Molly! She was an amazing server!

It seems like every time we go we keep getting less and less of the whipped feta as well as on some of the other smaller plates…. they keep putting less food on there. 🙄 For now, though we’ll continue to go, we’ll just pick the portions that aren’t shrinking, and keep an eye on them :-)

We had my baby shower in the private room upstairs and it was a dream come true. The venue is so beautiful. The staff was very thorough to work with, friendly, professional, and attentive to details. (Thank you, Mia.) The food was so delicious, especially the whipped feta, coffee cake, salad with chicken, and London broil sandwiches. The tea and coffee were very tasty as well. Loved the brunch here. What a great location wrapped in the historic vibe of the old hotel. The food was awesome and the service was amazing. Highly recommend reservations, and sitting in the atrium that surrounds the fountain (brought straight from Italy). Lovely.

The quintessential Sunday brunch experience is available every day of the week. It's elevated I'm tone but casual in dress. Who else has a a tea bar and champagne bar for brunch? Excellent vegetarian and vegan choices too.

Love this place. The ambiance, service, and decor. The food is great, but could use some variations in the menu from time to time.

Molly provided great service and the ambiance was beautiful! The whipped feta was really good but our main meals left us much to be desired. The eggs Benedict were just okay and my friends got another dish in which their eggs were over cooked. Overall I liked the experience but the price did not match the quality of the food.

I knew I was going to like this place, but my experience was way above and beyond what I expected! Amazing food, great bookshop, and gift shop.... the entire experience was magical! I'll be back and bring friends.

I ordered a tea and as i was waiting asked the worker with short woman with a bob haircut and glasses if there was Wi-Fi. She tells me no there is no Wi-Fi, I go no Wi-Fi at all? She says not at all. She goes and delivers a drink and when she comes back, she proceeds to tell me that they’re actually is Wi-Fi and a conference room where I can work with a fee. How are you going to tell me there’s no Wi-Fi and then come back with the whole spiel that there is Wi-Fi? Her demeanor was so rude and unfriendly and not helpful lol.

First visit to this establishment. Food was yummy and savory. Service was very good and being seated in the patio was a nice experience.

I made the table reservation for Oxford Exchange in July 15th for July 28 at 12pm for 5 people. I got everything emails and reminder text messages and confirmed this. But when I and my friends came to the restaurant we didn’t get our table because hostess didn’t found the reservation in they system. We had to quickly find another restaurant to get our brunch. This situation made me nervous and I felt terrible in front of my friends.

Beautiful space! Lots of different areas to check out and experience, it can get rather busy with people and events. I had the cold brew float and avocado toast from the coffee bar which the first was great the latter was meh/not worth the money. If anything, come check out the center room!

We have been there a number of times and have always enjoyed the food. Our appetizer (whipped feta) was a small portion and not really enough to share. The chopped salads seemed tired and bland. Disappointing. We opted for dessert and coffee at the coffee bar

It was ok. I was here about 18 months ago and I swear it’s the same menu. I got eggs, bacon, potatoes and toast for $18. The potatoes were overly salty and were oddly prepared like soft chips. Eggs not properly cooked to medium. Just a meh, pricey experience overall. I won’t be back.

OE is a unique place and it was nice to take an out-of-towner here. Food is always good, service was ok at lunch this day. However, it was so loud the day we went we could barely hear each other. It's my only complaint about the place. There is no table during lunch that is quiet. And I happen to have two women with me who are a little hard of hearing. Other than that, they loved shopping and looking at all the decor. The gift shop is overpriced but it's pretty much what we expected.

The place is beautiful. There is a restaurant, a coffee shop, a bookstore, candle store, and a working area inside Oxford Exchange. The only problem is that they don't have wifi. They charge over $20 for a day pass, which seems pretty steep. I can't recall the last time I was at a place that made me pay for Wi-Fi. I came here to work and didn't expect that extra cost. It feels like they're trying to squeeze extra money out of visitors, which is why I'm giving it three stars instead of five.

COLD food! We went for brunch to celebrate and our food took almost an hour and we saw the tower brunch sit there ready and took them 10/15 min to bring to the table and all the sausage bacon and eggs were cold! Our service all around was okay. Wish service was faster since my tea took 25 min to come out too. Won’t be back we all had high expectations since all reviews were great.

Been waiting 10 years to try this place out. It was on my bucket list so expectations were high to say the least. The place is stunning indeed, service was ok (not out of this world which is what you would expect for such an expensive place) but it's the food that makes me give this place a one star. It was soooo bad guys. I mean would you pay 22 bucks for that food in the picture? Ridiculous. I had the Benedict, my English muffin was soggy. They messed up the latte art on my cappuccino but served it to me anyway. All around bad and disappointing. Will never go again.

It was an amazing experience, was here from Columbus, OH. It exceeded expectations on what the inside looks like. You have to pay 10 bucks to park in a church surface lot across the street. But the food is decently priced. And really good !! Very filling !!

The ambiance and place were beautiful. The food was decent but could use some improvement. The waitstaff would benefit from training in proper serving etiquette, as we noticed food being passed across our faces and plates being handed to us for passing around the table. Despite these minor issues, the overall experience at Oxford Exchange was delightful.

First time but not my last. Loved everything about this place, bookstore, tea bar, candle making and the restaurant. You can have a great time.

As always, an amazing ambience. High-quality food. Excellent service. The only minor hiccup yesterday was that I was customizing an order. The menu has a turkey club sandwich. If you remove the turkey and put mayonnaise on the bread, you end up with a BLT. My server didn’t understand I didn’t want the turkey but quickly corrected and brought the proper sandwich out and the restaurant did not charge from my dish. I will continue going back to Oxford exchange. It is my favorite brunch, restaurant, and all of Tampa Bay.

Our experience there was amazing the server may have been new or something she just wasn’t very attentive. We had to get up and look for her to close our check out. Any other time I’ve been there the service is amazing so this time was just a disappointment. None the less i will be back

Even the bathroom is special. The Champagne Bar…well everything is very special and noteworthy. What a lovely stop in Tampa.

The place to be if you visit Tampa. This has been a local landmark, especially if you like delicious and great variety of teas. The bookstore in the front has a large collection of autographed works. Simply a good vibes and hopefully a place that will not become too extravagant.

I was so impressed by this place. From the moment you walk through the door, you are transported and feel as elevated as the decor. The food is very delicious; breakfast and lunch options alike. The drinks were also delicious -- I had the mimosa made with their own branded champagne. There is no doubt that I would purchase a flight solely to return and have another chance to enjoy a meal at this place.

I really like this place, BUT was very very disappointed to see that they have left a whole booth area get to this condition. For the location and cost to eat there this is unacceptable. And it’s not just a tear the whole cushion sinks in.

Been here multiple times, never misses! Hands down the best brunch in tampa. Great atmosphere, food, and drinks! The whipped feta cheese is a must to start with. Over the past we've gotten the Cobb salad, egg bake, steak sandwich, and chicken sandwich, all of which were amazing. If you like tea, also highly reccomend getting a pot before your meal. Tons of options, refreshing, way better than the tea bags you use at home. Again, this place is a must if you're in the area!

Gorgeous, masculine, parlor like design. I enjoyed the coffee and tea shops. Prices were on the higher end. Lots of people working, hanging out or being touristy. I would go again just for the vibe. Nothing else quite like it.

We were 15 minutes from restaurant and wanted to find out the wait time for a table. Phone message directs you to website. Difficult at best when you are driving. A human could have answered and advised saying us a trip to find out if was a 1 hour wait.

One of our favorite places to grab brunch. We always bring friends here when visiting from out of state for yummy food and great drinks!

Upscale dining experience that requires a reservation most days

I've been wanting to try Oxford Exchange Brunch for some time now, and Im so happy I did! My friend and I tried a little bit of everything. We ordered: - Fried Brussel Sprouts - Truffle Mac and Cheese - Breakfast Bread - Stone Grits Plus, Matcha lemonade & Strawberry Mint drink The highlight of this meal was the breakfast bread( carrot pound cake with nuts and raisins and just straight up goodness) and the truffle Mac and cheese. I was hesitant at first by the breadcrumbs, but they were a perfect addition. Still disappointed, I never got my matcha lemonade to go cause I'm still thinking about it as I write this

I love their book events with authors and the well-curated bookstore. It's always a lively discussion and a great way to learn more about the author. I love the restaurant too, but the book events are really well done and draw me in.

Been here not once, not twice but 10s of times. I am hoping this was just an off day with a horrible waiter and an equally horrible kitchen. I have never had avocado toast look or taste as bad as the one we ordered today; they even got the eggs wrong. The whipped feta was equally pathetic. There was bearly a paper thin spread on the plate; bearly a table spoon of feta for the cost of 2 blocks of feta. The julep lacked any fruit; they used sugary syrup in place. The worst was the annoying, over-animated Sam B. This was the fail of fails bar none.

Visited for Sunday brunch and loved it, as always. Our waiter was super nice and helpful. He guided us to pick the best drinks to go with our food. I ordered these yummy breakfast tacos with Spanish chorizo. While we were there, we also "hung out" (not really, he was just sitting on the table next to us 😆) with John Cena. Love this place!

The staff were all so kind and helpful that it was like nothing I’ve ever experienced before. I felt apologetic asking for our reserved table to be outside and in front of the fan, but they were fully obliging. The atmosphere was calm and it wasn’t too loud outside. It was just a beautiful evening and the food came quickly and was delicious. It wasn’t just one staff member who was nice, it was every single staff member that we interacted with.

So glad we found this place! Such a cool spot.

This place is a dream. It seems like out of a fairy tale. We had a very helpful team member give us the history of the place which made it more special. Was hoping to get a reservation for the ever so popular Sunday tea but no there is a long waiting list! Managed to get in for lunch the next day and thoroughly enjoyed it. Can’t wait till I get back for the afternoon tea!!

Amazing breakfast. They have some fun items but then also classic/simple items that are made really really well. The pancakes were my favorite. Fun place to meet with friends and shop around after eating as well. I did end up buying a book and everything is kind of book themed. It has a Hogwarts/dark academia feel. Get the whipped feta

Was only in Tampa for the day and came across Oxford Exchange - what a set up!! It's so unique and so thoughtfully constructed. It was BUSY, certainly recommend a reservation. Meaghan the restaurant manager went above and beyond and got us sat quickly so we could enjoy our meal. Brunch food was fantastic, service was excellent as well. Kuddos team!! Give Meaghan a sweet treat - she deserves so!

Great atmosphere and service! The food is superb and flavorful!

Unfortunately, my recent dining experience included being served undercooked pancakes. I only discovered this after swallowing a mouthful of pancake batter, mistaking it for a filling. An unapologetic 'sorry' with no further resolution came 35 minutes after the incident and I had to ask if management was notified so no one else had this experience. This is the second brunch I've had here where I was served a severely undercooked food dish with a can "careless" approach.

Amazing brunch for Father's Day.

This is the best culinary experience that we've had in Tampa. Jordan C's service and bubbly attitude was a 12/10!! The whipped feta is a MUST! The spirit free drinks were top notch as well! I greatly appreciate how well they navigated my food allergies.

First time experience celebrating a belated mothers day with my best girls. Thrilled that they were able to honor a request for gluten free for my daughter who most events misses out on eating or gets immediately sick. She was happy to find a bread that was soul satisfying and pain free! Our server Perla was a absolute gem recommending teas to try which we ended up buying loose leaf and bring home as souvenirs of a wonderful afternoon together ❤️ 😊

Awesome steak sandwich but my $6 kasmine tea from their Reserve Collection was mainly ice. The room was super loud and the tables too close. Seated near the hostess stand, people walking behind me brushed against my purse many times. It was difficult to relax. Great food but I won't return on a weekend.

They never accepts walk ins. Closes at 5:30 but won’t seat you even though we walked in at 4:20 because the kitchen is closed. Tons of empty tables. Poor management.

This place is a hidden gem in Tampa and a must see if you're visiting. The design is beautiful. We didn't dine in we just tried their tea and visited the giftshop and bookstore. Lots of cool places to sit and things to see. It is on the expensive side, but you can just walk around and enjoy the place.
