Good service, good food and nice location to get on a walk after diner. The steak of the chef was delicious with a nice flame taste.

Ulele is a must for anyone visiting the Tampa area. Make your reservation on OpenTable ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ or you’ll have a long wait most of the time!. Walking around and to the restaurant is in itself a visual experience. We were greeted at checking in with a smile by the hostess and an “Your table is ready, please walk this way” had to be less than 3 shakes of a lambs tail. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Our server Kimberly came over quickly provide water and took our drink order. Before i could switch out my sunglasses for my eyeglasses we had 2 perfectly made dirty martinis on the table. These martinis were smooth not to dirty with 2 fresh olives. The taste was perfect….. or we would not have had 3 lol. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Order the dozen chargrilled oysters. $46.00 and well worth it, hell i was going to order another dozen… actually i should have. These are fire roasted see video chard to perfection with grated Parmesan and Roman cheese and not to mention the garlic butter sauce. “This gets my “Drop the Napkin, it’s so damn good” rating ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Go with the Blackened Gouda Grouper fresh vegetables and wild rice….. flavored to blackened perfection, i mean what doesn’t taste good with Gouda….. Seriously! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ and yes… you really do want the Jalapeno Beer Corn Muffins… We were so full and satisfied we had no room for desert. But I’m sure it would be fabulous. The bill did not include an automatic 18 to 20 percent gratuity which in my opinion is the way it should be…. If the service and the food is good no one has an issue providing the proper gratuity.. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. When you make your culinary journey to this fabulous restaurant, tell me you just didn’t have one of the best dinning experience in ages…. The overall rating.. yep you guessed it ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My wife and I went with some friends to Ulele for our first Tampa brunch/lunch and it was a lot of fun! Our server, Red, was very attentive and helpful and the food quite good - I just didn’t get anything that changed my outlook on food. I would recommend Ulele do more about cooling/ventilation for the outdoor seating. Of course it is hot here but it seems like there should be more than 2-3 fans for 6-8 tables.

NO STAFF??!! I had out of town guest from Philly in for Labor Day weekend. We had reservations for 5 o’clock. We got there at 4:45 and asked to be seated and were told that we could not be seated until five because they had no staff.. WOW!! very embarrassing for myself and for my company from out of town, but other than that as usual, the food was wonderful! I think the staff on a holiday weekend should start at 4:30 just saying🥴. My guest flew for hours and such a ridiculous comment…,No staff to seat us!!!

Visiting from England and this place was highly recommended by every local. Our experience didn't disappoint! Interior decor and ambiance was great, but as the AC was very cold we chose to sit outside and enjoy the lovely evening. The food, drinks and service were amazing, my first time trying Alligator (recommend). Everyone must try the Bourbon Cake though, it's outstanding! We really appreciated the local and historical feel to Ulele even though it's very modern and the extra information provided by Angelina our waitress was great. Troy from Kansas is a legend too.

Food was delicious. I was a little disappointed in the steak as I was hoping it would have more flavor and was a bit chewy for the price but everything else was spot on. I highly recommend the chargrilled oysters. I also loved the detail of them giving you an artsy postcard with the check.

So disappointed, first time coming back to Ulele in 2020. Came early on purpose for a nice outdoor birthday lunch for my husband. Arrived 11:20am, told 5-10 mins wait. Ordered a beer at bar to wait outside. Seated outside 30minutes later then no server. Asked the server who was present for service and said have to check whose serving us. Why seat us if no server? We left a bit later with no follow up.

We used to go often but our last 2 visits were unpleasant. The floors were covered with food. The entrees had lost their original quality and taste. Their other restaurants have maintained their quality!! It is sad for us because we love the location but will not try again.

Our server Sarah was very attentive and very knowledgeable of the menu and was able to give great suggestions. I will definitely come again and ask for Sarah to be our server.

Today was a pleasure! We were greeted immediately! Our server Vik was perfect, greeting us with much needed water, even water bowl for our dog. Food was delicious. Atmosphere was great! We live in Venice and this was a wonderful experience in Tampa. Thank you very much Vik!

Had lunch at Ulele and the food was amazing! The appetizers were soo tasty! I had the soft shell crab sandwich and it was so delicious!!! The rest of the party had the blackened Grouper sandwich, again the food the bomb!

It didn't match my expectations: the food was average (watery risotto, extremely salty green beans). Grouper was the only meal done well. The seafood stew was absolutely tasteless: like seafood was cooked separately in the water and they put a precooked sauce on top of it afterwards. Not worth it. All 6 of us didn't think our each meal was worth it. The atmosphere is too loud. At an expensive sit-down restaurant you are not expected to yell across the table.

Service was not good never got what we ordered and then few came very late and barley checked on us

Very nice historical restaurant. Beautiful location in front of Tampa River walk. Food was also tried. Tried beer samples (3). It was only $3. Friend and professional staff. Food brought and served very elegantly. Sea food dishes and definitely to try.

We ate upstairs and it was extremely hot. Almost everyone was fanning themselves. The management did not address the situation when I mentioned it to the waiter, Luke, who was very good. The appetizers, smoked oysters and alligator tails, came out quickly and were excellent but the entrées took a very long time, were not hot and were mediocre. We were very disappointed because we thoroughly enjoyed the food in 2021 when we ate there.

This restaurant has an elegant environment and delicious food, but the service is a bit slow. Overall, the experience is good and worth a try.

11 of us came to Ulele to eat dinner to celebrate my father's birthday. The only complaint we all had was the sun was setting and there were no blinds to block the sun from that one window. That side of the room was very warm in August at sunset. Ask to sit on the other side of the room. Everyone was so happy with the food and the place is very clean. Our service was 10/10 we all said we are looking forward to our next visit here. Try the chili it's very good.

Hands down this place is amazing!! Richard made us feel like we were members of his family. After greeting us and taking his time talking to my kiddos, he asked us if we had a reservation. When my wife said no, he said no problem I’ll see what I can do. Five minutes later, we had a table. The food was second to none, bursting with flavor, and cooked to perfection. I highly recommend their Zarzuela de mariscos. Regardless of what you order though, you won’t be disappointed. We will definitely be back!! Next time, we’ll make reservations 🤣

First time in Tampa and found this fantastic restaurant at Tampa Riverwalk. Two stories building with an outdoor space. I am vegan (occasionally eating fish though) and gluten free and they had options for me. I had the Native Sauté w/Blackened fresh Gulf of Mexico fillet of mahi-mahi. Very tasty, I can recommend to anyone who would like to have fish without the strong fishy taste. Our waiter Elvin was awesome, very kind and helpful. I also had the house made Pineapple-Mango sorbet as a vegan dessert, so delicious. I would definitely recommend the place and come back if I will be in the area next time.

Everything was very nice. Food was delicious! Service pretty quick. Nice atmosphere. We ate outside under a huge umbrella so no sun to worry about.

Usually adore this place, but had the soft shell crab sandwich and was horribly disappointed. Literally all breading and Cole slaw. Maybe next time.

Okay from the beginning this place is fantastic our servers April and Cameron didn't awesome job April was in training that was well versed in the menu already and have a great table side personality, Cameron also was very enthusiastic about me and did us awesome recognition it started with the calamari which described perfectly with the sauce a tomato base aoli which was fantastic followed by the chili which was made from alligator and wild boar unbelievable ! They give a samples of craft beers and my wife enjoyed a Fuego pina colada the main course was black and redfish for me and hers was the seafood risotto cannot wait to come back here again and try something else in this menu ! No room for dessert one day maybe just drink some dessert highly recommended!!!

Fabulous night out with coworkers! Matthew, our server, made us feel so welcomed and gave great recommendations. This was perfect for a group, the atmosphere was lovely but not overly crowded or loud, and of course our food was unreal — so flavorful and delicious. As were the cocktails! And surprisingly reasonably priced for such high quality and taste. Highly recommend when visiting Tampa! We also could watch the sunset over the water from our table.

The calamari and cab cake awesome. The Braised short rib was ok. The way it was plated was hard to look at. The rib was medium in temperature on top of hot mashed potatoes smothered in too much gravy. The Seafood Risotto first bite tastes good but over bearing the more you eat. The crackling pork shank no flavor had to dip in the cranberry chutney that was too sweet. The green beans were bearly cooked. My first and last time at this restaurant.

What a great restaurant. You have to go if you are in Tampa!!!!! Try the Red fish and the Pina Con Fuego. Also their wine prices are nuts. $94 for a litre of Caymus? That has to be the lowest in the country.

My mom and I were in town visiting my brother and his girlfriend. We decided to try this restaurant for lunch Location: located in a busy area but it’s worth it because of being next to the river And armature works. Parking: there is paid parking next to the restaurant near armature works, we paid $10 Service: the service was 10/10, we waited maybe 1 minute and everyone was kind from beginning to end. Ambience/Crowd: the scene is laidback and the crowd is casual everyone could come for lunch but more adult during dinner. Food/drink : 5/10, although the service was great, the food was not. The fries were the highlight of the lunch. We had drinks but they were just like any other restaurant. The fries were phenomenal Favorite thing: The service Least favorite thing: The lobster roll Will I be back? Yes, for the service and fries but some else for my entree.

Said it was dependent on the weather and if it rains or doesn’t rain they may or may not seat us? Natalya at the host stand could have cared less especially after being told to come visit the restaurant just to be turned away. Staff service so far was a complete joke; not sure if the food also reflects the same kind of energy.

Our waiter, Ivan was very friendly, knowledgeable and understanding of our dietary restrictions. He was the highlight of our visit. We have plant based limitations and he came up with a few options for us. The atmosphere is great both inside and outside, weather pending. The food was unimpressionable and did not live up to the hype. It wasn’t bad food, don’t get me wrong. It just wasn’t as good as we heard from others. Thanks again Ivan for making our experience enjoyable.

This place has to be the most amazing place I’ve ever ate at. To begin with the ambience is so beautiful. The service was top tier but the food and the drinks wow. I ordered the seafood risotto. This has to be the most amazing dish I have ever tasted in my life. Everything was cooked to perfection. Then I ordered a Frosè and what a delicious delightful perfect crafted frozen drink. I couldn’t believe how the texture and the flavor of this drink opened every single tastebud. I was truly impressed. We ended up getting dessert it was a pineapple bread pudding with vanilla ice cream. Perfect. Everything here was perfect.

This weekend my server AJ was wonderful. I had the Gouda grouper and the gator tail. Gouda sauce was amazing along with the freshly fried gator tail

Went Ulele this past tuesday. AJ was our server. He was knowledgeable and very inviting. He recommended the charboilded oyster and the blackened redfish. The food came was hot and delicious. He was very attentive and clearly knew the menu . Had a great experience will be back again!

Had to go into Tampa. Picked up some to go food on the way back home. Even after the long drive home to Dunedin, food was great! Didn't catch his name, but bartender was good too.. Got the char grilled oysters and the ulele burger

Ulele was a great experience mainly due to our amazing waiter Matthew. He was friendly, very knowledgeable about the menu, and went out of his way to make sure our party was taken care of. I cannot say enough good things about our dining experience with him at Ulele. After our meal, we thanked him and told him that this was some of the best service we’ve had at a restaurant in many years. In terms of the food at Ulele, everything was good as well. The charbroiled oysters were definitely the star of the show. They were so unique to any dish I've ever eaten before. The scallops in the seafood risotto were great, too. For my main, I had the cracking pork shank and thought it was just ok when compared to the risotto and the oysters. Overall, this was an amazing dinning experience. We need more servers that truly care like Matthew does. Thank you for an unforgettable experience, Matthew!

We had lunch here on our last day of vacation, and it was a great experience. The food was delicious, the service provided by Angelina was excellent, and the atmosphere with the sculptures and fairy tale statues was enjoyed by our 7 year old. I had the fire roasted chicken, my husband had the chicken sandwich and street corn, and my son completely finished the macaroni and cheese. We then enjoyed the pineapple upside down bread pudding. If we are ever in Tampa again, we will come back.

Delicious food in a nice environment with lots of art work to admire. Plenty of free parking with friendly service. Our server was Angelina 'not jolie' who was on top of her game. I recommend a visit to this place and we would revisit.

The food was exceptional - the calamari, gator tail, and crab cakes were all delicious, but the charbroiled oysters were truly to die for. Our server, Kimberly, was outstanding - attentive, knowledgeable, and provided great guidance on menu choices. We opted to sit outside, which was a great decision, as the views were stunning and the inside was quite busy and loud. Overall, a fantastic experience and we can't wait to return! 5 stars!"

Atmosphere was really beautiful as we sat outside onlooking armature works and the bay. Outdoor seating was good as they had a lot of fans. Perhaps it was an off-day but our courses were extremely overseasoned/oversalted including the green beans, mash, steak and pork chop. Otherwise they were cooked very well. We also got the alligator tail which was hot and crispy highly recommend.

Very cool upscale Native American inspired restaurant that features unique foods from Florida’s land and sea. The inside atmosphere has a trendy industrial vibe offset by thoughtful and whimsical art with echos of Native American themes. The outdoor patio is incredible, large, primely situated on the new river walk area and overlooking the water, with green space for pups. They even have a couple of doggie items on the menu. The outdoor status are gorgeous, great for photos. The food was top tier at a very reasonable price. I had the blackened mahi-mahi, my friends had the redfish and the grouper. All were perfectly prepared with delicious sides. Their fried okra appetizer was mouth wateringly good. I had their Ring of Fire cocktail and it very well done with the right amount of sweet, sour, bitter and spicy. The service was great! I was celebrating professional accomplishment and they thoughtfully brought out a signed congratulations card at the end. I will always go back when I’m in Tampa!

My risotto wasn't even anything lilr a risotto, it was more like a murky paste. The salad was just straight up a third of a whole salad head. We paid around 130 bucks for two persons and in my opinion, it wasn't worth it

Excellent Service and Food! Had a reservation for a Birthday Dinner on 7/23 and wanted to share my excellent experience. There was very little wait time for my 1845 reservation, we did get a bit early and were still able to sit us rather quickly. Our server was great, she was knowledgably, friendly and understanding with us have 3 kiddos at the table. Appetizer's and drink's came out quickly as well. Amazing appetizers here at Ulele. Id recommend the grilled oysters and mac & cheese. Main courses were great as well. Everyone at our table loved their dishes. I personally did have a problem with my steak I ordered which was overcooked. I wasn't upset or demanded anything just wanted to get a steak cooked to my preferred temp. Our server gladly agreed with my assessment and instantly took my food back without question. Some time did end up passing but I was not too upset about that since everyone was eating and enjoying their meals. Our server did mention my food will be coming out shortly at some point. To my surprise the manager did come to our table and let me know they had another issue with cooking my steak and he sent it back to get me another. I thought that was very nice of Ulele management to let me know. On top of that he offered to comp my meal since it was delayed / cooked incorrectly as well as comping a few appetizers. This took me by surprise just due to the fact I wasn't upset or hounding my server about my food. This act alone, show's me the service and management at Ulele really care about their customers. They are fully aware of what is going on in their restaurant and want to make sure every customer is taken care of and enjoy their meals. Because of this, I will always be recommended friends and family to come here. Thank you Ulele and team for great food and service. We will be back again soon!

Ulele’s is one of our go to spots! The food is alway so good. I’m not an oyster person, I will only eat Ulele’s charbroiled oysters. The fried Okra and carrot ribbons are a must try. My go to is the Water works Wedge salad with Steak added. My husband loves the Risotto. And of course the Maple Bacon Ice Cream! Who doesn’t love bacon in their ice cream. Just try it! The atmosphere and service are top notch. We usually sit at the outside bar bc it’s pet friendly and bartenders Danielle and Bryan always take great care of us. Ulele’s is one of our top recommendations for our friends and colleagues when they come to town!

First time visiting Ulele and we were impressed with the food, service, and atmosphere! We started off with the charbroiled oysters (which were phenomenal!) then meals included the risotto, grouper, and chili. Everything was fabulous. Make sure to save room for the bourbon butter cake! It was worth every bite! And speaking of Bourbon. Eric and Heather in the bar were so very helpful and gave top notch service when I was selecting a bourbon for the night! When in Tampa, this is a must stop!
