Amazing muffins (yes). We've been coming to this location every Sunday for the past two years, but unfortunately, the service is consistently poor. The staff never greets customers—we've never received a hello, how are you, or goodbye. In 2024, I will no longer support businesses where I don't feel welcome.

The baked goods are amazing. Everything I tried has been extremely delicious, especially the banana bread and barbecue chicken pies. The people behind the counter are always extremely friendly and helpful. I love this bakery.

Stopped in for some afternoon coffee and ended up trying their scones. We tried the vanilla, carrot cake and cheddar/tomato scones. All three were outstanding! Such a gem. Definitely going back to try other treats - word on the street was that the quiche is also fantastic.

Got the UBE PANNA COTTA. Was surprised that it was so good. A lot of Ube flavor. So sweet and tasty. Wife says, “Very good!” Also my son had the CHOCOLATE BUNDT CAKE, son gave it 10⭐️s! “That was SO good!” Wife says it was the best as well. Daughter had the CHOCOLATE MOUSSE and she loved it. The CHICKEN SPINACH HAND PIE was excellent, as per my wife. “Can we go back for more?”, says my daughter.

We recently got cupcakes from Palmer's Bakehouse for our kid’s birthday party, Funfetti cake topped with a chocolate/vanilla buttercream, and rainbow sprinkles. Usually, our kid only eats on the frosting when it comes to cupcakes, but with Palmer's, he devoured the entire cupcake. Let's talk about the buttercream—silky, rich, and perfectly balanced, it's the kind of frosting dreams are made of. It complements the cake in a way that elevates the whole experience, creating a bite that is nothing short of heavenly. And the cake itself? Moist, flavorful, and remarkably consistent in quality, it’s clearly baked with skill and love. It's obvious that a lot of care and expertise goes into crafting these treats. The level of skill here is top-notch, and it shows in every single bite. Palmer's Bakehousr sets the bar high for bakeries everywhere. I went here today while I was in the area. They have the best oatmeal cream cookies. Everything here is so delicious and fresh. I will definitely be a returning customer.

Amazing cinnamon rolls. I am fussy about baked goods, but I think I’m going to do it: I am going to declare these the best cinnamon rolls I’ve ever had, better even than mine or my mom’s. Soft, pillowy, with heavenly icing. I ordered 16 to serve at a brunch and will happily do so again. Their black iced tea is a rare treat as well.

There weren’t many options there when I went. I got some type of chocolate cake with butter and the buttercream was very smooth!

Love this place. The iced coffee was great. Went on a Sunday and had a doughnut which was also amazing. And I can’t wait to taste all the other goodies we got. Good customer service. Very nice inside, cute.

This adorable little bakery makes the most amazing treats!! Our favorite is the Saturday morning cinnamon rolls. They are DIVINE !!!!!

Stepped in here on a whim and I'm so, so glad I did. I'll trek to Maplewood just for the salted corn muffin alone. But everything I've tried has been amazing, like the cinnamon rolls and vanilla bean scones. And their quiche is insanely soft and soooo good. On top of it the staff is super nice. Definitely stop by if you're in the area!

Amazing oatmeal cream cookies are among a host of delightful baked goods (love their rice Krispy treats, enjoyed the donut bread pudding and more!). They always seem a bit overwhelmed and hence service is a bit slow, even for advance orders.

Stopped in because I was craving something sweet and I'm so so glad I did! I got an oatmeal cookie iced latte and a black and white cookie. Both items hit the spot and are probably the best things I've had! I'll definitely be back! Plus it's the cutest place!

My husband and I ordered our wedding cake from Palmer’s Sweetery, it was delicious and so well made. The owners were accommodating and even delivered it to our venue. 🏳️‍🌈

Quick and courteous service. The Fall Spice latte was delicious. Anytime I mention Palmer's Sweetery everyone praises their baked goods which I haven't tried yet. Community gem.

I recently discovered this wonderful bakery and I ordered Sunday doughnuts and red velvet cupcakes. They are the BEST doughnuts and cupcakes hands down! I have been to bakeries in Montclair and West Orange and Palmer’s FAR EXCEEDS all of them in taste and quality. If you have not discovered this gem.. do yourself a favor and order online, you will not be disappointed. My new go to bakery for everything!!

Get yourself to Palmer's quickly. When you get there order anything, it's all delish. My favorites are the donuts, the quiche and the honey bear latte. Seriously, get yourself to Palmers!! #somalove

Our favorite bakery in town!!! Palmers never disappoints. There selection is so delicious. Our family especially loves the sprinkle cookies, vanilla bean scones, banana bread, rice krispies treats, and lavender lattes. Our cousin visits us in Maplewood especially for their lavender lattes. We purchased a cake there for my 50th birthday, and it was beautiful and scrumptious. Palmers is a must try.

Not only should you frequent Palmer's for its delicious salted corn muffins, hand pies (like empanadas) and cookies - it's a women-owned, black business. Never ate or drank anything there I didn't like!

Maplewood got even sweeter when Palmers joined the community. Kia and her team always make you feel welcome and make delicious classic sweets in addition to amazing hand pies that are perfect as a light lunch with soup or salad. The great products and civic mind of this shop make this a must support business. Try it....your sweet tooth will be pleased!

Delicious pastries and yummy coffee

Love this place! Cute coffee/bakery right in the heart of town. Family run, the staff is super friendly. They have good drinks as well as quick bite (quiche, for example) and baked goods. More on the dessert side, not really any bread. Parking is on street or in town.

Delicious baked goods. One bite and you’ll feel like you’re back home in your grandmother’s kitchen. My favorite is the salted corn muffin, their quiche with a side salad, or just about any of their desserts. (Ooh that fluffy Whoopie pie!) Their lemonade is to die for too, especially on a hot day. Love that you can eat inside or outside. My kids love it too!
