Best tacos I’ve had. They have elevated and unique tacos. We had the pork belly and bang bang shrimp tacos. The pork belly was dressed with hoisin sauce and kimchi. Delicious!! They run daily specials and everyone was very nice and helpful. We will be back.

We ordered the Birria tacos and the pork belly tacos along with a spicy margarita. Everything was absolutely delicious, fresh and gourmet!! We’ll be back. What a gem of a restaurant right here off Highway 22. Service was excellent and orders come out fast. This will be a regular stop for us. 🌮🥰🙌🏻

BEST Tacos I’ve had in a long time! The attention to detail and customer service sets this place far above A LOT of restaurants I’ve been too recently and definitely my new favorite taco spot! Michael and the staff were perfect hosts, and I haven’t been this impressed in a long time!

If you need a location to host your next event check out Parish Tacos! This restaurant is AMAZING!!!! We reserved it for a private surprise party on a Saturday night and it was incredible. The staff made it so easy to organize. We were able to go in and setup early and Michael was so accommodating. The food was delicious!! I am still thinking of the crab cake tacos. We came, we partied, we left. I highly recommend Parish tacos.

We came to lunch here today and it was soo good! I had the fish tacos, street corn, chips with salsa, queso, and guacamole. Fish tacos were some of the best I have ever eaten! Fish was fried to perfection! I didnt want the Chipotle sauce but the parish sauce was great! The street corn was great too! We like the chips with salsa, guac, and queso so much, we got more to go! Yall go check out this place!!

Today I went here with my best friend for the second time and it was AMAZING! We had the birria tacos, the smoked chicken tacos, and the bang bang shrimp tacos! The birria tacos were PACKED with juicy flavorful brisket and plenty of melty cheese. (You get two tacos per order, but don’t worry, the portions are plentiful!) My best friend rarely eats red meat and she devoured it! She loved the bang-bang shrimp tacos and I loved the smoked chicken tacos (which is what I ordered the first time I went. First of all, let me just say that the quality of this food is like no other restaurant that I’ve had tacos from. The food is fresh, hot, flavorful, and they don’t skimp on the portion size! The customer service is wonderful and I really loved that they take the time to explain the menu if you tell them this is your first time there. We spoke to the owner and he was so humble and kind! He was nice enough to let us try the birria tacos and the homemade horchata ice cream on the house! I’m telling you guys, RUN to this restaurant! I live in Hammond and I’ll drive to this place over any surrounding tacos places! I will be back with more of my family and friends! God bless! 💜

My wife and I stopped in here for the first time this past weekend. WOW, there are no words to describe how amazing the experience was, but I’ll try. We ordered the street fries which were tasty, great portions and clearly freshly made, including fresh fries. I got the pork belly tacos and they melted in my mouth, I’ve been dreaming about them since. My wife got the fish tacos and they are probably the best fish tacos ever, the fish was fresh, perfectly fried and flaky. Don’t walk but run to visit this hidden northshore gem. I know we will be back frequently!

This is a Hidden gym in Madisonville. Don’t expect TexMex here. The food is prepared in a very thoughtful way and plated beautifully. And the taste well you just gotta try it for yourself. It’s fantastic in my opinion

If you haven't had the seared tuna tacos with a spicy margarita you need to (tuna)round and get here now. The birria tacos are super meaty so make sure you (birri)ing your appetite

I've been to Parish Tacos several times and it is always delicious! Today we ordered catering for my son's graduation celebration and it was loved by all. We ordered the carnitas and carne asada tacos along with all of the fixings, as well as refried beans and Spanish rice. And queso- the queso is so good! Everything was was hot and fresh. We will definitely order for our next event!

Just visited this restaurant yesterday with a few friends. Absolutely loved it! I got the bang bang shrimp tacos with the street corn and could not get enough of it. Great food, great service, and a super friendly atmosphere! This will definitely be my new go to Taco spot.

Review form 05-16-2024 2nd visit and this time we tried the specials! Met Ash for her daddy-daughter birthday lunch. We shared the tacos, all of them, and had a clear winner: Royal Red Shrimp Tacos! First, lemme say, the scallops were cooked perfectly, but I found they were so fresh and sweet, the act of turning them into a taco detracted from the delicate flavor of the meat. Still, it was a delicious dish; enjoyable and yummy, sure to please any palate. What did you say? A CRAB CAKE taco?? Oh yeah, that’s what we said, and if I had ordered only these, I’d be raving about them…but I got them with Royal Red offering and - despite being chin-dribble worthy - the shrimp taco just knocked it out of the park. The crab was fresh, the seasonings perfect, and the taco ate like it was really well thought out. Highly recommend - Petunia gobbled hers down with a smile between chipmunk cheeks of love. Ah, the Royal Reds. Mmm. Mmmmmm. MMMMM! The shrimp were seasoned amd sautéed, just perfectly, and laid across the taco, expertly accompanied by an incredible array of flavors. First bite was hot and juicy and the flavors exploded out of the tortilla like they were late for a train…they were so good I had to stop eating to make sure I wasn’t dreaming (I wasn’t). The boudin balls were good, and the creamy sauce really elevated the dish, but I’m still giving the award to that crispy Brussels Sprouts dish from last visit. I still recommend them, though: Petunia had one and - just like magic - they’re gone and we got no complaints. The staff is super friendly, be prepared to be made to feel at home! Review from 04-27-2024 Finally got to try Parish Tacos! I had the Birria, Petunia was all over the Al Pastor, but the star of the table was the Crispy Brussels Sprouts appetizer. Imagine perfectly crisped sprouts, tossed in a mixture of spices and cheeses as if it were street corn - we’ve agreed we are splitting tacos next time so we can share another huge bowl of this incredible dish! The tacos were almost TOO stuffed! So much delicious food on one table. The birria is tasty, although I will ask for extra lime next time. The crispy cheese layer added an extra dimension to this dish. The al pastor was very well done; tons of flavor and cooked perfectly. Either was a good choice… …but Michael came out to talk to us. We’re excited for PT and can’t wait to comeback in yo try the specials. Today was a seared scallop or a fried oyster taco…the victuals definitely make me wish I had an extra stomach. Already planning my next visit, but don’t let that stop you from giving this place a shot.

Best fish tacos on the Northshore! I highly recommend the Gulf Fish. Service is always fast and the food is fresh. If you haven’t been yet go ahead and give these guys a try for lunch.

The service is as great as the taste of these delicious tacos. I’ve been there twice, and enjoyed both times. This visit was their special menu tacos: crab cakes & scallops. AMAZING! The initial visit was Bang Bang shrimp on flour tortillas & also wonderful. Thanks so much! It’s a must have.

Delicious!!!! The blackened shrimp tacos were packed with flavor and I especially loved the parish sauce!! I also enjoyed the chips with the trio dips! The owner, Michael, and his staff were super friendly and attentive! I will definitely be back!

Parish Tacos is one of the best new restaurants on the Northshore! Perfect lunch spot during the work week to stop in for a quick bite or take out. Their service is very quick and everyone is so friendly. The food is amazing right down to the fresh salsa! You won’t be disappointed!

My husband and I had the Bang Bang shrimp and Al Pastor tacos and the Queso w/ Chorizo. The food was amazing!! Did not disappoint. Looking around at what other people ordered I can’t wait to come back and try everything else. New favorite restaurant!

Bang bang shrimp tacos were good. Birria tacos were bland. Chips were bagged , stale chips & tortilla soup was bland. Asked for no pico, was told it was premade. Had to ask the employee to wash her hands prior because she was siting down eating at a table before asssiting us. Margaritas were premade in an uncovered bucket they flies were flying around as margarita was poured. Overall, we will not be back. The high prices & over overrated reviews were not worth it.

Al Pastor & Street Corn were great!

5 stars isn't enough! Parish tacos sets a new standard for gourmet street style tacos! Fresh ingredients, cooked to order tacos accompanied with excellent service. We had the oyster tacos, crab cake tacos, and the chips trio - all top teir! We were blessed with one of their delicious house Margs, definitely worth getting if you're in the mood!

this is the best taco place around. I crave Mexican at least 5 times a week. And this place takes the crown. The flavor profiles of each dish are so carefully crafted, you can definitely taste the difference. Will be back tomorrow. Plus the service is spectacular. FOOD AND SERVICE IS ON POINTTTT. Don’t walk run.

We had an AMAZING experience @ Parish Tacos! The Boudin Balls were sooo good, the brussel sprouts with chorizo were something you would have at a Five Star restaurant, both the crab cake & scallop tacos were incredible AND great service from wonderful people. I will definitely be back!

Loved, loved, loved the food at Parish Tacos. I haven't had Chilaquiles since 2019. They are very hard to find. To say they were GREAT would be an understatement. The food portions were large, the flavor was great and everyone enjoyed their meal. We had a nice visit with the owner and learned these guys have some pretty cool restaurant backgrounds. Can't wait to go back.

I am a huge fan of Parish Tacos. My boyfriend and I tried it for the first time a few days ago. Everyone was so warm and welcoming and the food was KILLER! We don't have a taco place like this one around here. If you are tired of all the same old choices, this is definitely the place for you! The birria and fish tacos were my absolute favorites. Not to step on anyone's toes, but one of the previous reviews was completely inaccurate. The chips were not too greasy and the salsa was vibrant and fresh. With just a little research, they would learn that crab is incredibly expensive right now. The price for the crab cake taco is perfectly acceptable. Do not let that review fool you guys. You do not want to miss out! I will absolutely be going back! WE LOVE PARISH TACOS!

Unbelievable food! Not a bad taco and the guac and chips was great!

Normally, I don’t go for a taco…but these tacos were GREAT! I will definitely be going back for more! This time I got the bang bang shrimp taco and it was hot, flavorful, and absolutely stuffed with shrimp. My husband got the carne asada with chimichurri sauce and he said his was full of flavor as well and the steak was very tender. The street corn was amazing once cut off the cob! The service was great and employees were friendly. The owner was very attentive to customers and seemed to take pride in his business hoping to expand in the future. No pictures to share because the phone definitely didn’t eat first.

The food is always prepared fresh and I haven’t had anything I didn’t love. The birria tacos are amazing and the bang bang shrimp tacos are a new favorite.

Not a fan…came hungry, left hungry! Chips were too greasy and salsa tasted more like marinara sauce. Pork belly was not a cut you usually get on a taco and was pretty flavorless. Wife enjoyed the crab cake taco but for the price they should offer 3 not 2.

I wish that I had taken photos, but I got ahead of myself. I have been wanting to try this place for months now. The food is even better than I imagined it would be when I saw the photos of the food! We drove about 45 minutes to try them and it was well worth it! I had the fried Brussel Sprouts as an appetizer. They were fried perfectly crisp. The Chorizo is house made and done well. The pickled onions and cotija blend beautifully with the rest of the dish! It’s a large portion that could easily be an appetizer for 2-3 people. I had a salad with shredded chicken and Buttermilk Sriracha Ranch dressing. It was a delicious combination, but the chicken itself was wonderfully seasoned! I am in a restrictive diet, but may have to take a cheat day to try the tacos! My partner had fried oyster tacos and I could see they were fried to crispy perfection! They absolutely earned this five star review! I will be spreading the word of Parish Tacos! They will not disappoint!!!

This tiny little taco shop next to the Dollar General in Mandeville is gonna change the casual culinary scene here!! I had the crab cake tacos and the pork belly! Absolutely to die for!! Seriously the “last meal” kind f food!! Do not walk, run to here! I met Michael, one of the owners, a delightful interaction! Not 5 stars, 100 stars!!!

Wow!! I have had many tacos in my life. Thousands likely. Parish Tacos is the real deal. We were in New Orleans on a holiday from Vancouver Island, Canada and decided to rent a car and go for a drive. The maker of “High Man’s Heaven” hot sauce at the Mendaville market told us that if we liked tacos …. Parish Tacos was a must. Wish I lived closer. I would be here eating Tacos every week!! The owner Mike was working hard and his passion speaks volumes in the food they serve. Had the street corn. Boom! Nailed it. Pork Belly Tacos with a touch of the berry Salsa …. A must!
