This place is really great! The coffee is good and the cupcakes are wonderful! I got the Night Game beverage and my fiancé got the spiced chai. The strawberry cheesecake cupcake was glorious! I definitely recommend this place.

Best coffee shop in town no question don’t waste your time any where else

Very cute little coffee/pastry shop. The sandwiches were wonderful. There are quite a few tables to sit and work (which was the plan) but we unfortunately did not feel very welcome and left shortly after eating our food. I brought my very well-behaved little guy and not one me ever of the staff seemed to be able to crack a smile to us at all. I complimented the cashier on her nails and it was almost as if it pained her to say thank you. I have a hospitality background and it takes a lot for me to choose to tip only 15% but the feeling I got from everyone here was enough to almost walk out. It’s unfortunate because we will be in the area often and I was hoping to have found a new spot but the lack of friendliness and overall feeling that we were “out of place” turned me off. I do not think we will be back :(

I’m actually surprised this is rated more than 4 stars. The staffs are not friendly, it’s like they don’t even want you there. I used to love it here but now everytime I come I feel unwelcome.

We were pleasantly surprised to find this gem after mistaking it for a Starbucks. The coffee, matcha, and chai were all delicious, with a rich and foamy texture. We will definitely be returning soon!

Let me preface this by saying I have a pastry degree and I am incredibly picky. The cupcake I got there was by far the best cupcake I have had from any bakery. I've always said the test of a good cake is that it can be enjoyed without icing, and wow was this so moist and delicious!

I was looking for a new place to study and I am glad I found this place it is so cute! They have a decent amount of seating indoors but sometimes it can be a little crowded. They also have indoor seating. They have lots of coffee flavors and they are inexpensive as well! I tried the breakfast sandwich and the coffee cake both of which were very amazing. It can be a little bit loud in there sometimes depending who’s there but I used my headphones. The workers there were also super nice. Overall this is a super cute chill spot and I would definitely recommend it for coffee and/ or studying

My coconut milk cappuccino was very good and the coffee cake was good. Not the friendliest bunch. Location is very cute.

They make a very nice cappuccino which is much better than the one from you-know-who. I'm sure that is because they actually care about their customers. Keep up the good work!

The atmosphere was lovely and the staff was very friendly and polite, they get you what you want when you wanted it, the pastries are also delicious and worth their price. I Would definitely recommend this establishment if you’re looking for good pastries with a cozy environment.

I got the spiced Chai (hot) and it is really good. It could use a bit more Chai to steamed milk ratio, but that is just due to the fact that I like a strong tea flavor. There was a line when I got there but they were efficient and very friendly

Lovely little coffee shop in Haile Village. They were a little busy, but still managed to get my order out in good time. Espresso was delicious and the wifi was fast! There's a small outdoor seating area as well as small tables available to get work done indoors. Will definitely be back.

Great atmosphere, the desserts were delicious. Only thing bothered me was for some reason they weren't making milkshakes and there wasn't a real explanation as to why.

Patti Cakes has the best coffee in town, and some of the best pastries on top of that. It gets busy on the weekends, but that just means that they are pulling in money and will hopefully remain open and accessible for a long time to come.

I can not recommend Patticakes enough! It is a quaint little shop with the friendliest staff. They always have great cupcakes and icecream, but my absolute favorite is a Cortadito. They are shorter drinks than a latte, but they are creamier and have just as much caffeine packed in the little cup

Consistently fantastic customer service. I told them today, the only time I've gotten the "wrong" drink is when I placed the order wrong myself. The staff there is so nice & every drink is DELICIOUS! Don't sleep on the Cortaditos or the Lavender Lattes.

Line was so long, we didn't wait. But we love going there. Need more help.

Pricey but the location is nice. Food/coffee is good. I got a panini and iced chai and they were fine but kinda skimpy with the panini fillings. Will have to try the ice cream and cupcakes next time I go!

Started the day with a stop at Patticakes. The coffee was good, so was the breakfast sandwich. The staff was efficient and friendly, and everyone was careful with pandemic precautions - I felt very comfortable. I’ll definitely be back.

Always a great experience here. I moved a few months ago and I miss this place! The customer service is amazing. Genuine friendliness. Most employees learned my name and even my dogs name. They even started carrying vegan ice cream just before I left!! Can’t recommend this place enough and will definitely be back on my next visit to Haile.

After some deliberation and multiple trips here to assess for consistency, I am positive the cafe con leche in particular is the BEST coffee in Gainesville, FL. The food and bakery items I’ve tried are also fantastic. It goes without saying the location in Haile Village is too perfectly scenic, and the cafe area is wonderful to study or socialize in. I officially like Patticakes more than Starbucks. Highly recommend!

This is the place to go for amazing cupcakes! The cakes are moist and the frosting is dense and smooth. I love their red velvet flavor the most because the cream cheese frosting is perfect. They also have breakfast items, paninis, and coffee, but those weren't stand out. I would come back again just for the cupcakes. Staff were extremely friendly too!

I was completely surprised by the coffee, the lattes, and the selection that was available. My son got a blueberry muffin that was probably the best I’ve ever had. Service is a little bit slow, but they are very kind.

Friendly and clean! We ordered ice cream and hot chocolate. The hot chocolate was not good. It tasted like sweet milk. But the ice cream was really delicious.

This is a unique little find in a really cute town center. They have good hot chocolate and I wish there was one closer to the university campus. My only complaint is that I keep getting emails and text messages since going and signing up for rewards. One of the messages even spoofed my area code (which is not a Gainesville area code). Regardless, I’ll definitely come back again when I get the chance or am in the area.

I've had Patticakes cupcakes a bunch of times...it's obviously a Gainesville favorite. Second time at this spot and boy is it cute. What a lovely location and what delicious pastries! My daughter and i love coming here. We both love the Red Velvet cupcakes! We'll be back.

I love Patticakes! I come here to escape the constant surrounding of a University Library. The atmosphere here is so welcoming, the staff are friendly and kind. And best of all, their drinks and pastries are delicious. Patticakes is one of my favorite little hidden gems in Gainesville!

Cute coffee shop and amazing staff. I need to nurse my baby and the barrista went the extra mile to make me feel comfortable. She let me use a nursing room in the back complete with changing table, rocking chair, the works. She even brought me my coffee and pastry to the nursing room.

My favorite study spot in Gainesville! Patticakes in the Village is the perfect spot for a coffee date, meeting, or 9-hour marathon study session. The drinks are delicious (highly recommend the dublin fog), the paninis are outstanding, and there's always a friendly face to ask you how your day is going. The cupcakes and coffee are great, but the community is truly my favorite part about Patticakes.
