I was in this place and I ordered a JUMBO SHRIMP 1CRAB CAKE 1FLOUNDER Mr. Peter served me well at first but then the crab and the fish had a bad smell of rotten and I ate several sandwiches and they are very delicious but this dish after being worth 19 dollars I can't I recommend them after telling Mr. Peter that it smelled rotten, he didn't care at all, he just told me that he made a complaint and one of the employees agreed with me that it smelled bad, I won't return to this place again 🤬

Awesome, fast and friendly service. I had some time to kill and wanted a good solid breakfast. Peter’s was just 2 miles away from where I was so I figured I’d give them a shot as this is my first time eating at this establishment. Eggs were perfectly made, the bread had a good amount of butter on it and the potatoes had a good helping of onions mixed in. The service was fast and friendly. The restaurant was clean and organized. Highly recommend!

This place is a hidden gem on Gude Dr. The breakfast service was quick, very friendly, and delicious! We will definitely be back with our kids on mornings when we have an early start for sports.

My wife & I always stop as we pass on the weekdays , Most friendly owner and just the best sandwich’s. We promised to try something different every time ❤️

The service was excellent and the cashier was very friendly but the food definitely needs some TLC. The breakfast potato and eggs had no flavor and the French toast was topped with way too much cinnamon that we threw it away after only a few bites. There's definitely room for improvement but I love that it's seems to be a family owned business.

Peters grill is the best to eat from. There breakfast and lunch is delicious to the point you want more . I highly recommend trying all different selections of things.

Firstly, I grew up and love a good " greasy spoon" dining experience. Peters is an old school breakfast establishment that makes egg sandwiches and platters on the spot with a limited menu. Great atmosphere. Good counter people. Good cooks etc. Don't come here. Expecting a Michelin star restaurant. This is the kind of place where you find a lot of contractors plumbers carpenters and electricians all stopping to grab an egg sandwich and go. It's inexpensive, it's good. Hot food, it's nothing fancy( which gives it its charm). Most of these small mom and pop places have gone by the wayside because of cheap processed McDonald's Burger King and Wendy's breakfast. I applaud Peter's for keeping it going and providing a good dining experience for people who don't need fancy, don't need glitzi, but what some good food and a good atmosphere.

Absolutely wonderful place to grab something to eat! I am totally addicted to their pancake platter! The pancakes taste amazing, they remind me of truly homemade pancakes, I always get the sausage and eggs as my sides and they never disappoint! The service here is wonderful and prompt, and the gentleman who takes the orders is a ball of energy and it makes you feel good, especially in the morning when it’s easy to be dragging. Peter’s Grill is absolutely a regular go-to for me!

Great service and quality food. The grill is nothing fancy but the grilled chicken sub was full of chicken breast meat slabs, and the fries were fresh, crispy, and hot. The guy behind the counter taking orders (Peter?) does so with gusto. Was just passing by and needed a quick lunch.

I have been driving past this place for at least ten years and finally decided to try it out. The service was pretty good, but the cheesesteak was a 4 out of 10. Based on the reviews, you would think that the cheesesteak is the best in Rockville. I guess the locals have never had a REAL CHEESESTEAK.

Maybe I ordered the wrong thing? This place came highly recommended by a good friend, and the reviews were awesome, so I'm surprised by how average my food was. I ordered a tuna sub, LTM, American cheese, S&P. The sub roll was very average, clearly not baked fresh, and the tuna had almost no flavor, plus there was no sign of S&P on my sub. That said, the service was great, very fast and super friendly. Next time I guess I'll try the steak and cheese.

Where has this place been all my life? Excellent food and service. The line was practically out the door at lunch time! It's not too long of a wait, and the food was pretty good. I will definitely go back!

Good prices, extremely quick service and friendly environment. Was in and out in 5 minutes. Got the Philly cheesesteak and they give you a great portion for the fries.

I would have taken a picture but I ate the burger too quickly. I agree with the remarkable ratings that this hidden Rockville gem received. I stopped in for a small meal after hiking around Lake Needlewood and it was one of the best simple cheeseburger I have ever had. I prices are extremely reasonable and the owner and staff are kind and enthusiastic. I will remember this hidden gem in the future

Passed by this place many times before but stopped by for the first time today with my kids. The owner was super friendly and had such a kind aura about him. Food was good, fries were crispy, and the order came out within minutes. I'll definitely be back when I'm passing through this area and looking for a quick bite to eat. Thank you to the owner for the extra big plate of fries he gave my kids and the sodas. It made their day.

Peter's Grill is one of those industrial breakfast and lunch gems. Nothing hidden about it - everyone knows it's an awesome place to grab breakfast or lunch and it brings in a truly diverse crowd. No frills, GREAT food at a very reasonable price. Egg and cheese sandwiches are my go-to for generous hot-melty-tasty perfection. The owner (I'm assuming?) runs the register and is always friendly. He knows his regulars but treats everyone as such, and even switches over to speaking Spanish with ease. Cafeteria type seating for about 15-20 if you want to dine in and solid drip coffee available. Call in your order ahead if you want to save the food prep wait time.

Awesome little deli that I'm sure a lot of people don't know about. The owner of the restaurant is extremely nice and very enthusiastic, and the food was delicious. Great spot to get a quick bite to eat, I'm sure especially for breakfast.

I love this place! The place didn't look like much from the outside but I'm glad I gave it a try. I've been here a few times now. The customer service is old school friendly. The food is 👌 superb. I love it all. The only one issue I have is the lack of location's and it not being franchised. Give this place a try for breakfast, lunch or dinner. You'll be glad you did and I bet you'll become a repeat customer. I love the great prices too. You get a lot of food for your money. This place is ALMOST too good to be true. I say almost because it's so far away from me and not franchised.

The owner is very happy to see his customers come thru his door. At least that was my experience,as it wasn't first time there. Every one was greeted with sir or mam and thank you . The service was fast and the food was great.I don't know him but I feel we could be friends. He was even patient with me in my custom sandwich request. What an awesome place. Visiting town for work and the food and service are amazing. The guy at the counter (maybe Peter?) is super friendly and all hustle. Def better to spend here for a local spot than any chain!

Peter’s is such a great spot. Makes me proud to be a Peter, even though I don’t get a discount haha! It’s a simple place, with good food at good prices and great customer service. As long as you’re okay with a very casual atmosphere, you will not be disappointed.

Love getting breakfast here. I need to try their other stuff. Their food is so good and I love how they scramble the eggs with cheese. Plus they use that thick cut bacon that I like whenever I do eat bacon. That's why I consistently find myself ordering extra bacon! Their pancakes are so fluffy and thick and are the best. That egg BLT sandwich is really good also. Peter is so enthusiastic every day at the counter taking customers' orders in person or on the phone. He does this while directing everyone in the kitchen behind him and all of them are very attentive and make sure coffee is constantly available and just overall seem very happy about having customers coming in and out. They get pretty busy here especially first thing in the morning. Peter and Co. are absolutely prepared for the morning rush and I've seen some of the same people coming back because I think just the upbeat, motivated atmosphere keeps people returning to this place, and gets even more word-of-mouth going to keep new customers constantly checking out the place.

This place is exactly what I've been looking for. Since moving to Montgomery County from Indiana I've been appalled by the price of getting even simple takeout and have missed the good, cheap, homecooked diner vibe that was common back home. I got a filling breakfast for less than $10 and the kindest, friendliest man served me. Everyone working there was so pleasant, I will definitely be frequenting here often and can't wait to try out the rest of the menu for such great prices.

I'm giving this five stars, because the food is consistently decent, and the Asian gentleman taking orders and running the place (maybe Peter?) is outstanding! He is very polite, repeats the order, and is cordial. Steak and Cheese is a winner, and the breakfasts are good. In a time when you can't always trust takeout joints, this is a go to for me.

The owner is the best in the business he remembers all his customers. If you went once he will remember u the next time and so super happy and friendly.

A little diner with quick food coming out. It’s pretty cheap so you get what you get, but the food did remind me a little of home style food. If you want a quick cheap bite, this is the place to go

I have tried many different sandwiches, subs and salads from the Peter's and all of them are good. I have had similar menus from elsewhere but Peter's are the BEST!

Needed a quick breakfast whe in training locally. Got a scrapple, egg and cheese Cresent with some grape jelly and a side of home fries with a coffee and juice. It was so delicious. But the quick wit of the staff made the experience fun while I waited. Sorry no picture but I'll definitely be back!

The staff at Peter's will make you feel like you are part of the family. I used to work next door and would come by for breakfast and/or lunch on a near daily basis. Jonathan and his father knew my usual orders and made me and so many others feel so welcomed. This is truly a special place. Great food and amazing people. Jonathan will be so, so sorely missed.

I love going to Peter's Grill. Our entire office loves it too. You gotta try the fries and their golden BBQ sauce. Amazing combo! We get takeout or delivery. Even when they are very busy, you do not have to wait too long for your food.

Wow this little hidden gem has better fries then Boardwalk fries! I found this place through the local Grapevine. They have the best bacon cheeseburger in town that is very reasonably price and not greasy like the local burger joints around here! The fries are always cooked to Perfection nice and crispy but yet still soft in the middle. Their secret sauce goes great with a lot of things. They always have a very well stock chips and better selection of drinks then7-Eleven!!!! Stop by cause they're always wearing a smile and ready to serve!!!

Small place with some good people. Food was fresh and hot. Served really quickly as we order. Not very buay, but people were dining in even it was snowing. Not expensive as well. Person who got our order(i guess Mr. Peter) was very pleasent. Smile on his face all the time. I recommend this place to my friends. Supporting local businesses.
