Always the best. Get the hoagie, comes with fresh onion lettuce and tomato. I Hold the vinegar and oil. They give 2 free toppings so I change the onion to be grilled with the meat with bell pepper Jon spicy. They have hot pepper but my tummy can not handle it. Get the large combo with drink and fry. You can change side to onion rings or jalapeño cheese poppers for a little extra. I eat there order the sandwich double meat and cheese and have them wrap half the large for later. Absolutely great food and excellent service.

I don't have anything against anyone that works there but people should know this. Pretty good cheese steak sandwich but after this inspection, yuk! Come on, live roaches?? And dead roaches on take-out container! This was Aug 2024: High Priority - Roach activity present as evidenced by live roaches found. Observed three live roaches crawl up wall in back of kitchen at mop sink. From follow-up inspection on Aug. 28 From follow-up inspection Aug. 28: During callback, one dead roach observed on plastic wrap of single service to go container.

Amazing food and great service!!

My go to place for a Philly Cheese Steak because it may be the best that I've ever had. Service is fast and friendly. Food is delicious and then there's Hotrods and Hogies.

Normally I don't write reviews, but when trying to decide on where to eat tonight, I noticed that Philly's has the same 4.7 rating and two less reviews than the Foosackly's on Nine Mile. Now here me out, for a dedicated chicken finger restaurant, Foosackly's is hands down the best of them... for a chicken finger restaurant. But where on God's green earth do people find the gaul, arrogance, stupidity, audacity, and rest of the thesaurus to put Foosackly's on the same level as the Sacred Philly's. Listen here people... Philly's is some of the finest dining in Pensacola. Not that pretentious, overpriced, "actually took a shower for" fine dining, but true fine dining where you lavash your taste buds with some of the finest flavors in Pensacola. Flavors that only the best of the best can stand with. It takes true champions of flavor like El Asador to stand with Philly's. Classic favorites like New Yorker Deli, or Scenic 90 Diner.... Foosackly's? You people have lost your got damn mind. I'm not giving 4.7 stars to something I can recreate in my air fryer in 15 minutes. You bring shame and dishonor to your house and ancestors. So there you have it.... I've had to take valuable minutes out of my Friday night while my poor girlfriend waits patiently for me to actually pick some place to eat for date night. Are you happy now? Now I have to pass the torch and hope others will read this and take up this valiant cause. We MUST push Philly's rating higher... We MUST push them to more reviews... We CANNOT allow this farce of a comparison to stand.

Came in a few days ago for dinner, and the employees gave me a veterans discount. Came in today, and the owner is behind the register and will only do it if I'm active duty and in uniform. Guess veterans are only valued while they are actively serving. If you are a disabled veteran like myself, I would advise giving another Philly's location your business.

I come here once a week because this is by far the best Philly in P-Cola! The bread is amazing and the meat is perfect. This place is one of my fav's!!!

I don’t know what happened but our order last night was terrible. Our last few orders have gradually gotten worse lately, but this was our last attempt. The meat was lumped on one side of the sandwich with the other half empty. Both the meat and bread were not the usual quality, the meat tasted on the verge of going bad and the bread was either old or they have changed bakeries. I understand everything is getting more expensive, but the same goes for customers. It’s just not worth it anymore for us.

Best cheese steak in Pensacola. Closest to straight outta Philly. They have birch beer also.

Very good Philly style subs. A bit pricy, but so is everything else with the current administration. Highly recommend if you like a good cheese steak.

The Best Philly Cheesesteaks In Pensacola

The man was short with me on the phone and the cashier took care of other customers that were behind me in line. My suggestion would be to try and be courteous to your customers and your business should acquire a "First Come, First Serve" policy as I feel I was slighted. I will just drive further and visit the other location next time. I've never had that experience at the Creighton location.

Being someone who lives near Philadelphia, PA where the cheesesteak originates, these were pretty spot on. For those who want the real deal and most closely like a true cheesesteak, this is the place to go

Very good cheesesteaks and even better service. My confession is that I eat here at least 1 time every month or so. Don't tell my nutritionist, please. 😁. The crew is always upbeat, joking, and laughing. They are always friendly and helpful. The owner should definitely be proud of them.

I thought the food was good, but expensive.

The food is always fresh and delicious. The service is always great and only gets better. They've had the same employees there for so long they all get to know customers very well. You may have to wait a while at times (peak hours) but it's certainly worth it. I highly recommend it to anyone that likes food.

Best Cheesesteak in PCola, and if you are in the mood for a Cold Sandwich I highly recommend the Old World Italian with Sharp Provolone and Hot Peppers with a side of Fries and a Pennsylvania Dutch Birch Beer

This used to be my go-to spot. The good is steadily getting smaller and the prices are going up. Past few times the food has been so greasy that the wax paper wrapping falls apart when you unwrap it. Great people, great atmosphere, just disappointed lately with the quality of what you're paying $20 a person for.

If you like Philadelphia sandwich shops, this is for you. No frills, strip mall cheesesteak and hoagie shop. Great lunch crowd at 11:30am on a Friday. Ordered at the counter and it was ready in less than 10min. Grew up in Philadelphia, wasn't disappointed. Next time I'll add extra cheese to steak, but Hoagie was on point. Can't wait to go back for a cheesesteak hoagie!

Great location! This was my first time visiting this location and it did not disappoint. Everyone in my group throughly enjoyed their Sandwiches, they got the Meatball and Philly. I ordered the Italian, it was great as always. They have the same selection of speciality Pennsylvania sodas. I’ll definitely be back, highly recommend!!

I'm a regular at this location.. There seems to be a new night time crew this weekend.. Saturday night to be exact.. The old crew I'm used to seeing wasn't there.. This new staff appeared to be family members maybe.. Nevertheless they were slow in getting food out correctly.. The old crew was faster and always on point from my experience..

We love the Cheesesteak Subs from Philly's, they're the best in Pensacola! The food is always fresh and delicious, and service is always friendly!

Wow! I'll keep it short and let you know the basic secret everyone wish they knew. Large combo with a cup of cheese and orange drink. Now you ready for the secret? "Cheese steak with American, mushrooms, grilled peppers and here is the secret "hot Italian sausage". What! I'd pit this against pats and genos every day of the week! First time here! I'm hooked! Hoping to make it back weekly! Forget about eating anywhere else in Pensacola until you go here first! I'm sure other stuff on the menu is great. I heard guests ordering just about everything. Line was long and moving quickly as it should. About 20 people in 30 minutes. This place is a well oiled machine. Look at the menu online and give Philly's some love! No pics! Experience the memory for yourself! Boom!

Went there from a recommendation of a family member. I was NOT disappointed. This place was great. The atmosphere was family driven. The food was distinctly Philly and enjoyable. I would tell anyone to go there.

The kitchen crew is always cool and upbeat, Ben the main manager has always been cool. The sandwiches are always top notch it doesn't even matter what you get, my favorite is the cheesesteak hoagie, im 36 I've been eating here since I was 13 and they only had their Creighton location which his dad ran most of the time. If you want a real sandwich and a welcoming staff that likes to joke and make ya laugh, phillies 9 mile is where it's at! 😊

This place has delicious subs. The fries are heavenly 😋 I like these subs better because it has less of a focus on a big piece of bread making the meat to bread ratio much better. Buy don't forget the fries. Very addictive 😍

I grew up in PA and love cheesesteaks. Unfortunately, it is really rare to get one as good as those if you get much further south than Delaware. Happily, I found this place. The cheesesteaks are the best I have had outside of PA. The place has a bit of the Philly feel and is a great grab and go place. I’ll definitely be back.

I’ve always went to the location on the east side but since I’ve been to this side of town I’ve been visiting here .. the guys in there are awesome and even gave me an order for free because I called the other location for a pick up on accident and they were about to close . Love this spot

The gentlemen that work and run this place are wonderful. It can be slammed busy or super slow and they always meet you with a smile and delicious food. One of my favorite places in Pensacola.

Food was dry without seasoning (I don't really count sodium as a seasoning). Philly cheese steak doesn't come with cheese unless specially requested. The cheese is not actually on the menu. Pricey for what you get.

The food and service is always great here. I have yet to have anything I haven’t loved! Even when it’s busy the wait is worth it! Highly recommend!! To the team of people working here, thank you for always providing great food to stuff my face with. While my heart may not appreciate it, my stomach sure love the food!! lol.

The Philly Steak was most definitely worth the hour's drive. The only thing I didn't like was that I didn't get two for when I made it home because I ate one on the way back to Alabama.

It is a typical sandwich shop, but the cheesesteaks, fries, and orange cream soda are the best! The staff is always friendly and fast. Lines can get long at peak hours. Small price to pay!

went for lunch and got a buffalo chicken cheesesteak which took 55 minutes to get and the sub was about 4 maybe 5 inches at most. I WILL NOT GO BACK TO THIS PLACE--JERSEY MIKE'S A 1000TIMES BETTER, 1000 TIMES QUICKER, AND BIGGER. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE

This place has great food and previously had great service. I can here often but just recently started seeing new people working there. The new people have NO people skills and it now seems like a burden to get food. Also for the first time experiencing multiple people who ordered after me receiving their food before me. Food is still great but service has taken a very sharp decline. UPDATE I should have waited to post after I got my food. It has also declined in quantity. Very sad for such a great place to eat to come to this.

I absolutely love Philly's already, and I am always impressed with how consistently good the food is and the super friendly staff across all locations in the Pensacola/Pace area, but especially the Nine Mile location (Publix shopping center). I used to frequent this location up until I moved to Pace a couple of years ago so much that I was known by my workplace ( I was usually in uniform, and recognized even when I wasn't). Tonight more than confirmed the above sentiments even with a completely different staff than I had known. Everybody was smiling and the guy taking orders ( I didn't catch his name, but he was wearing a black ball cap with a FL license plate on it that said FAT BOY) asked if it was our first time, and even though it wasn't we weren't sure what we wanted this time, so he suggested a couple of different sandwiches and let us know the toppings we could add. About the time out food came out business was picking up, but the same helpful staff member managed to find time between orders to take the time to help an elderly gentleman to a table, knew him by name, and already knew his and the young lady's order that was with him, putting it in for them as he handled other orders that had came in. It's refreshing to see those kinds of things in this world today. Give him a raise and a promotion!

No pics because we gobbled our food up way too fast, but THIS place gets it! We had a cheesesteak with extra cheese, a cheesesteak hoagie (with the herbs and olive oil and stuff), and some onion rings. My gosh it was perfect! Going back before the end of this work trip to try the meatball one and one of the Italian hoagies🤤

Very friendly staff and food was outstanding, so good! We had the Philly Cheesesteak bomb (steak, salami, cheese, toppings), Buffalo Chicken cheesesteak added mushrooms and onions, fries and onion rings. Cheesesteaks were piping hot and so delicious. Everything about it was delicious, the meats, cheese, and the bread too. The fries and onion rings were hot and crispy! A great first visit. Philly’s will definitely be a regular for us!

I was stationed in NJ and MS back in 1982-83 and had authentic Philly cheese steak subs (grinders in MS) often. Moving back down south made it difficult to find that same flavor. When I found Philly's in Pcola, I found the food to be exactly like what I had in New England. The bread, meat, cheese (and mine MUST have mushrooms!) bring back memories of my time in the north. I recommend Philly's for anyone who wants to try the authentic Philly Steak! Also they have great birch beer!

I ❤️ LOVE this place. The food is made to order, so read the menu online before you get there, & know what you want. 😋 lots of hungry folks will be behind you lol. If you don't, the staff patiently helps, but have no time to explain what all you can get on ur hoagie (onions grilled vs raw, etc) so be prepared.
