This is my favorite bar in town. Travis is the BEST and we love Kelly!

Very dog friendly which we love but the beer is very basic. Interesting flavors but nothing I couldn't live without.

Dogs, darts, and award winning brews. Live music, a beer garden, and birthday party venue. It’s got it all! Tuesday is board game night and Wednesday is trivia.

We host a board game meet up at 7 every Tuesday, and we absolutely love this spot. Lots of seating, Great drinks and great vibes!

Absolutely LOVE this place! The vibe, the service, the beers, and the insane dog friendliness was top notch! Dog friendly bar that allows dogs outdoors AND indoors.. Hard to find! With the blistering heat, that alone will have us coming back time and time again when in the st Pete area! Mini milk bones on each table for the puppers is the cherry on a sundae! A massive amount of brews to fit every need was incredible! Not a big beer person but our brewista asked about our likes and preferences and NAILED the selection for me! The neapolitan stout was soooo good!!! Snacks sold on sight and food truck outside for more sustenance. Dart boards, board games, cards etc readily available for some good ol fun. Live performer and fantastic caricature artist for father's day made the day even more awesome! Clean, spacious, just overall amazing!!! Go for a great time, stay for the incredible hospitality! To management - Please open a second location closer to Wesley Chapel! You would fill a huge void in that area!

I recently visited Pinellas Ale Works (PAWS) brewery in St. Pete with my husband while scouting locations for an employee appreciation event for my job. Although PAWS is renowned as the most dog-friendly brewery, our experience revealed they are definitely not customer-friendly. The trouble started when I went up to order our first round of drinks, which didn’t turn out great. On our second trip to the bar, I asked for two samples. The friendly bartender happily obliged, letting us try before we ordered. However, on our third order, when we asked for one more sample each, things took a turn for the worse. As I walked back to my table to give my husband his sample, I overheard a man scolding our bartender for giving us too many samples. This man, who turned out to be Travis, the manager, noticed me standing there and, instead of defusing the situation, he defensively snapped, “What’s up?” as if I was the one at fault. The original friendly bartender stepped in, sensing my irritation, and took my order. Later, I asked our bartender for the name of the man who had been so rude, and that’s when I learned it was Travis, the manager for the day. It was incredibly disappointing to find out that the person exhibiting the most unprofessional behavior was actually in charge. To add insult to injury, as we were finishing our beers, Travis came over to our table and attempted a half-hearted apology. He said he was sorry if he came off rude, but quickly added that we had too many samples. This non-apology only served to highlight his lack of customer service skills. If you’re going to apologize, don’t justify your poor behavior. Sadly, this experience means that PAWS is off the list for our work event, and I won’t be recommending or returning to this brewery. While they may be dog-friendly, there are plenty of other breweries in the neighborhood that are both dog-friendly and staffed with genuinely friendly people. The one star is for the friendly bartender I interacted with outside of Travis.

Uber dog friendly, in and out. Lots of beer choices. Kitty corner from Cage Brewing that has food. Cool event space, in and out.

Fun brewery!! Enjoyed hanging out here on a Saturday night... Great selection of beers and the bands playing live added a lot of flavor to the vibes!! Crowd of a wonderful mix of age groups, everyone seemed to have a wonderful time here!! The brewery is pet friendly, loved seeing the beautiful dogs and their owners chilling out with beers!! The staff is efficient and friendly! We'll definitely revisit if we're in the area!

Sooooo many delicious beers! If you like lagers you have to check this place out. The Doggy Paddle Shandy was awesome - great summer beer. They are also super dog friendly so you can definitely bring your fur baby.

Great fun experience. Dog friendly lots of awards for the beers.. No food though. But it's worth a stop if you want a tasty beer. Employees or owners not to sure are very enthusiastic about the beers on tap. Chill place.

New favorite brewery. Loved the vibes. Pretty spacious. Everyone was so down to earth with nice customer service. I want to come back next date night

I’ve been to Pinellas Ales Works multiple times. It’s a great brewery, but the layout and vibe is a bit lacking for me compared to the other nearby breweries. They have quality beers and a big selection. The brew-tenders have been friendly and I had some great convos with them in the past. Updating my review to 5 stars after visiting again. The beer was even better than I remembered. That alone is worth five stars.

Cool brewery with lots of draft offerings. Good variety of beer styles and the ones I had were tasty. Had a great food truck and music entertainment on the Friday night I visited.

Third time here and everyone has been so wonderful. The bartenders have always been so kind and helpful. Wonderful ambiance and just a super chill place to hang out and drink unique beers.

Pinellas Ale Works is an incredible craft brewery destination. Not only do they have an excellent selection of beer of all varietals, but the service is inferior to none. Super great people, excellent beer, always a great time.

Spacious seating and a really good variety of styles of beer- especially darker options like porters, stouts, imperial ales and barrel aged options.

One of my favorite breweries in St. Pete. I've been here dozens of times and never had bad service or beer.

Really good beers! My favorite out of all the breweries around here. The taco truck is amazing too. Has treats and water bowls for the doggos.

Honestly the nicest and friendliest staff ever. I feel like I’ve just made two new best friends. The only thing better than the customer service is the beer. So many great beers and a huge variety on tap. 100/10 would recommend.

Depends on what you’re looking for. Extremely noisy and crowded, so clearly some people love it. I didn’t stay to eat or drink.

It is a nice venue with a good staff. I enjoyed it. I wish they had a good crisp apple cider beer. Love the dog theme. Probably the only issue is that it has very little parking. I snagged a good spot because I came early to the event but that was a surprise. (But that is most of down st Pete anyway)

Absolutely LOVE this brewery because it's so much more than that. First off, their beer quality and huge selection sets them apart in that very popular league in the St. Pete area. Any beer pallette will be satisfied here, from a barrel aged stout, to a fruity wheat, a seltzer, a hoppy IPA or my favorite, the sour beer selection! Then you have such a welcoming atmosphere, as kids and dogs are allowed inside and out. The beer garden is fantastic as it allows for live music in a cool shaded place. The event center is awesome, as I booked an awesome craft night there with my mom to hand stich my dog's faces! So unique! I cannot stay enough about how amazing the bar staff is and overall what this place is. It's definitely more than a brewery, it's a place where locals or beer enthusiasts can hang out, bring the family, go on a date night, or just meet new people. It's just so awesome and I'm thankful that this business exists in this community. Especially as a dog mom who is constantly trying to figure out what places I can bring my elderly pups without stressing them out, and this is the place!🐕🐩

PAW is awesome! I really like their IPA lineup and it's a great place to bring your dog if you're looking to kickback and aren't in the mood for Dog Bar's craziness. It's definitely one of the top breweries in a town with a bunch of them.

Great spot, good brews, wonderful staff, and the vast part are all the little four legged customers that are excited to see people.

We had our son's rehearsal dinner at Pinellas and rented out both the indoor and outdoor space. Everything was fantastic! Our private bartender was wonderful and did an amazing job! I had coordinated everything with Michelle via long distance, and she was so patient and professional with all of my emails and phone calls. I can't thank everyone at Pinellas enough for doing such a wonderful job!!

We had our welcome event at PAWs, and were super happy with our choice. They were super easy to work with, let us bring in a food truck of our choice, and gave as combination of indoor and outdoor space that was perfect for our ~100 guests. We also appreciated that they had something for everyone, with a selection of beer, wine, and seltzers. We would definitely recommend!

Excellent service and great beers! Dennis and his brew staff have done some very impressive barrel aged creations and we came away really impressed ! Miss trivia on Weds it was always so fun but do not get out during the week much.. We will return!! Trivia always fun too on Weds

The experience here was amazing! We got a flight of beers with Piña Colada, 1888 Imperial Stout, Off the Leash IPA and the Mango Pucker P'up Berliner Weiss. We each got our own full pours as well, I went with the Off the Leash iPA & Blood Orange Pucker P'up Berliner Weiss and my wife got the Raspberry Pucker P'up Berliner Weiss. We sat In their beautiful beer garden under the Edison lights tucked away behind the building, the musician was doing an awesome job playing chill classic rock / indie music on an acoustic electric guitar (got to hear some Allman brothers band too) and the weather was flat out excellent. The vibes are immaculate here and you won't be disappointed by their quality selection. This brewery is also very dog friendly and our little pup had a blast! I highly recommend trying this place out next time you visit downtown st.pete!

I really liked the unique crafts on tap. The bands last night were good. I think the general layout of the place is kinda awkward and we had to search around just to find the bar on the property. We noticed a good amount of people walk up and get confused as well and walk out not knowing where the bar was. I guess it kinda depends which way you walk in from. It's Def confusing for first time guest.

Lots of clever canine named beers. Obviously dog friendly - someone we met had even had a doggie birthday party there! Beers were solid with lots to choose from and staff was friendly. They also have a few non-alcoholic beers. Would love to come back and hang out longer.
