Besides their amazing service, what I love the most was that sauce! It was a homemade sauce on the pizza and I can say that it was the best ever. Plus, the taste of the dough oven roasted was spectacular.

We had the Lover Boy pizza and it was delicious. Small intimate place with the wood burning oven front and center for patrons to watch the pizza experience. If you love pizza, GO! Great staff and fun part of town.

Today is August 6th 2024, I just got out of a therapy appointment with my wife. I have had a rough month. I told her that I wanted some pizza. I have always wanted to come to the pizza box and we finally made it. All I have to say it’s was an awesome dopamine hit. We ordered the St. Michael’s Supreme and Becky’s Dessert pizza. Local mom & pop joint with a kickin’ pizza oven. A nice thin and crispy wood fire pizza. They have a good choice of pies without being overwhelming. The owner knows how to cook them to crisp perfection. I had a margarita that was out of this world and a small Deb’s veg. Easy to see why this spot gets so much traffic! Definitely some of the best pizza in the Burg

The pizza is made fresh as soon as you order it, in a brick oven I believe that’s what it’s called. The whole pizza was great I ate the crust and enjoyed it. The service was good and the atmosphere was so comfortable. We dined in!

You can't have a pizza store and not have pepperoni.'s This reminds me of a 99 totinos. It was expensive and chopped pepperoni's is not what i'm looking for. Threw it away and went to the gas station

First time here, and I only did a pickup order, but the atmosphere is amazing here. I love how the outdoor seating looks and is set up. Inside is small, but the space is well utilized. When I walked in, let me tell you, I was salivating from the smell. It's hot outside in Florida summers, but I wanted to be as close to the oven as possible. The ingredients on the pizza tasted wonderful, and it was well crafted. The meatballs appetizer/starter was absolutely amazing. It seems a little pricey when you just look at the menu price, but when you take into account the obvious craftsmanship and quality in each food item, it makes it feel it was well worth the value. The sounds of "mmmm" when my partner and I took our first bites. We like trying new things in the area, but when we think of pizza, I'm going to think of Pizza Box.

The food quality is amazing. Loved watching the owner prepare and cook the food. He is a true master of his craft. Everything had its own unique twist, taste, and appearance which makes this a stand alone shop. I love this local hidden gem, and I will continue to be a patron and refer it to others.

We found out about this place because a family member saw it on One bite pizza review. We were not disappointed. The pizzas were delicious. They have a spot where you can sit outside and eat. Lots to do and see in this area. Would definitely return.

Amazing place, if with family order each person and individual 10 inch, and sample each others slices. I recommend the honey boo boo! The staff were amazing too, they messed up an order so we got a replacement quick and easy. They were nice and deserve the 5 stars. The location itself is beautiful, its got great music (rock and roll), a chill vibe, and brilliant art. If i lived here id order everyday. Good job way to think outside of the pizza-box

Very, very good wood-fired pizza in a traditional dome oven. A classic Margherita is my gauge and this pizza checked all my boxes. We will be back as often as possible and I highly recommend.

Pizza tasted really good but was so small. The large was the size of a medium or small at most other places. At $20 per pizza without toppings you’d expect it to be a good size. We were definitely disappointed.

Saw this rated highly on barstool sports and gave it a try. The pizza was fantastic and the service was as well. It is a small cozy place with outside seating and we would highly recommend it!!

The pizza was good, it is handmade and cooked in a wood-fired oven. However, we waited around 45 minutes for the pizza from the time we ordered. There were only 2 guys making pizza on a Saturday night. Maybe it would have helped if there was free bread basket, but there wasn't, so you just sit there waiting. The pizza was not worth the wait though, unfortunately. There was not enough cheese on it. However, the sauce was flavorful. Overall, if you're willing to wait a while, or go when this place isn't busy, it's good. But otherwise, I'd skip it. Also, don't order the $12 Griffy Sticks. They're just burnt, overpriced bread sticks.

I've been on a pizza tasting kick lately, and this is hands down the best pizza I've ever had.

The pizzas were delicious. They were very fast at making and cooking them.The carnivore pizza was gone in 10 minutes.

The pizza was pretty flavorful it had an excellent crust. I had the honey boo boo pizza, I couldn't physically see any meat on it. The breadsticks had a bit too much rosemary for my taste.

Friendly service and great pizza. The Lover Boy pizza was my favorite. So many fresh flavors going on and the pizza was cooked just right. We shall return!

Came here due to a food tour. I must say this was one of the best pizzas I've had in a long time. Even taste fresh. From the dough to the ingredients on it. It was so good.. To top it off, it was made using wood fire stove as pictured. I definitely recommend and if I lived here, I would be back. 👍😁

I grew up on pizza in Brooklyn NY, & it is my favorite food. This IS ABSOLUTELY THE BEST PIZZA. I found pizza places here that I really enjoyed, and Ashley thought we're pretty good, But now that I've had pizza from the pizza box, there's no comparison. I've ordered several times and every time everything's been perfect. I have gotten the Griffy Sticks and the vegetarian pizza, and I can't wait to see what they have next month for it but this one is delicious. No boring veggie pizza here. I can't say enough good things. Even their marinara is out of this world.

We've been long-time patrons and always had great food and service. Recently, Pizza Box catered our rehearsal dinner with an assortment of pizzas and gorgeous charcuterie boards. Kelly was amazing to work with! Could not recommend more!!

Definitely the best pizza in St Petersburg. Great hand tossed crust and baked in a wood fired oven. The meatballs are made in house with brisket and short rib and are cherry wood smoked. Unbelievable flavor and texture pizza.

We heard it was the best in St Pete and found out for ourselves that statement is TRUE. So good, so fresh, can’t wait to come back for more. Service on the phone to order was 10/10 and they had a perfectly accurate pick up time. Fresh hot pizza ready to take home! We will be back.. A LOT.

The descriptions of the pizzas online sounded really fantastic but I’m sorry to say my wife and I were severely underwhelmed. When trying a new pizza place we usually get plain cheese first, so we got a large and did add goat cheese to it for $2 extra. There was a decent amount of cheese but hardly any sauce so the pizza was dry and the crust was slightly too thick for the lack of sauce. We also got a small dessert pizza for $15 which I guess is supposed to have honey whipped mascarpone on it but we couldn’t see any on it at all. On top of that the crust was very soggy on this one. We were also told it would be 15 minutes (which is super fast) but by the time my wife picked it up, which was almost exactly when they said it would be ready, our main pizza was already getting cold. Overall just not very good for how much it costs.

This is a hidden gluten free and vegan pizza gem. The woodfired pizza is cooked perfectly and they even use a little cherry wood for a hint of extra flavor and aroma. The gluten free crust is the best I've had and the vegan cheese and toppings are delicious. Highly recommend.

I am in town for honeymoon and a friend invited us to his birthday here. Where do I begin the crust was perfect and the carnivore was excellent I did try some other pizzas and the hot honey is an excellent addition ro any of the pizzas and I will get next time. Thank you to the staff who were above and beyond nice and helpful and Salvatore for bringing us here.

Their meatballs suffered from 3rd degree burns and the pizza was soggy. The crust of the pizza was actually pretty good but that’s all I had for dinner since that’s all that was edible.

We’ve gotten take out pizza a few times from Pizza Box and it is consistently incredible. Debbie’s veggie changes seasonally but always deserves a 5-star rating.

Personally, I was not a fan of the diced pepperoni, and I wish it was noted on the menu. Also, it would be nice if they offered an option of sliced or diced pepperoni. Other than that the food was delicious and the service was great!

We had a great time at Pizza Box Saturday. Food was excellent, crust just right and not burnt like many are (also not underdone). Sauce was tasty and toppings were enough. Management was very friendly and helpful, and made good conversation about the local life. Certainly worth a wait if they get backed up. "Best pizza in the area" he said, I can't disagree!

the most genuine 5 stars i could ever give. traveled from AL for an event at tropicana field and this was the perfect place to stop for a quick bite. food was phenomenal! best pizza i've ever had and i managed a pizza place for 4 years. owners are awesome and if i lived here, i would be a definitely regular.

This cute and cozy place is best for parties of 4 and under because of the size, but don’t let that fool you—the food is great. The garlic breadsticks were good and the pizza was really great! The crust is perfection. The pizzas we got were Margarita pizza, mushroom pepperoni, cheese, honey boo-boo—all really good.

Amazing fresh ingredients are used, and the crust is made from scratch. The pizzas we had were the best! Their salads and breadsticks were just as good. Insane pizza artisans. They are closed on Monday. When I asked why, they were prepping and experimenting for the upcoming week. What pizza place does that?! I strongly recommend trying the honey pizza for sharing vs. alone. While a few slices are perfect, more than that may be a bit too rich. You can't go wrong by sharing the honey pizza with any other pizza, which will balance out the richness and fill you up. It does not matter, but I can’t decide if the place's name is comically horrible or ingenuous.

This is arguably the best pizza in St. Petersburg. The owners set out to create a boutique pizza restaurant and they did succeed. they have an expensive and fancy pizza oven that puts out a great crust on which they place high end ingredients. Well done!

Wow! Best pizza I've had in a long time! It's wood fired thin crust and so tasty. We each had personnal sized 10 inch pizzas. There were 6 of us so we had to sit outside, thankfully it was a beautiful evening. It's a small place with maybe five 4 tops inside. The service was exceptional. My husband''s pizza came out and the waitress said the chef wasn't happy with it and they sent out a whole new one on the house!

I would have walked right past this place had my friend not told me about it. The pizza is fired in a true dome oven, with unique but familiar flavors. The photo shows the seasonal dessert pizza: pumpkin pie filling topped with roasted marshmallows. I know I know, but the ladies at the next table asked for “just one bite” and less than a minute later asked for “the rest of the slice, it’s soo good!” Pizza Box is a must try if you’re looking for well executed pizza in St Pete.

Excellent wood oven pizza! Had the seasonal salad with green apples, cranberries and Gorgonzola which was to die for, and a Honey Boo Boo pizza which was delicious. If you love a great wood oven za, this is the place for you!!
