Great bbq sandwich and milkshakes.

The burgers are awesome. Hand patted Burger,not frozen patties. Milkshakes are not soft serve, they are real blue bell ice cream. The owner is very nice and accommodating. We enjoyed it all.

Best meal of my trip. Well at first glance you might be skeptical as it’s a small location off the road, throw that skepticism out the window. It was the best pulled pork sandwich of my life and my boyfriends. His mom got a surprisingly great cheeseburger and we both agreed the coleslaw we had here was the best we had the entire trip. They don’t have indoor seating but the outdoor fans worked wonders and the food like I said, is worth it. Please go show this guy some love he clearly loves what he does and deserves more attention.

Best food and service in Eastpoint!! Every single thing we ordered was so good. The bbq and wings were not dry at all and had great flavor. His homemade pickles are delicious. So delicious that we had to get an extra order. I literally can’t say enough good things about Pollywhogs! Can’t wait to come back on our next visit.

Brian is a great owner really cares. Convenient location right before you get on the island and it’s good to keep it local versus the chains.

Woodsy outdoor seating featuring Brian's signature garlic redskin potatoes! Like you see in other reviews, they are extremely fresh & delicious. Ordered a cheeseburger and pulled pork Cuban sandwich. Both were tender, flavorful, and fresh. Also enjoyed a single serving banana pudding. Yes, the meringue is REAL; it's fluffy and sweet. The pudding is so creamy and filled with real banana.

We ate here after seeing the excellent reviews and it was wonderful. Pork sandwich , Cuban croissant and ribs are all outstanding. For me the highlight was the weekend special spicy chicken sandwich. Wings and banana pudding exceptional as well. We will return.

Don't judge a book by its cover. The place looks a little rough when you pull into the lot. However, the staff (one gentleman) was very nice. And, the food was wonderful. The pulled pork was perfection. The ribs sweet and fell off the bone. Coleslaw was delicious. You can eat out back (again nothing fancy) or take it to go. I'd go back for sure.

One of the best kept secrets we’ve stumbled upon! Nestled in the Marshes of Eastpoint, before you take the bridge to SGI, this one man show hits all the right tastebuds for a BBQ joint. We enjoyed sitting on the porch that sits on the back of the building while waiting on our meal. The scenery and sounds add even more complement to Pollywhogs. Like I said, it’s a one man show so kick back, relax, and be patient because it’s definitely worth the wait! Highly recommend the smoked ribs and Buffalo chicken sandwich!

This was our first meal of our vacation this year, and it absolutely did not disappoint. The vibes of the place are really chill, it feels like you're sitting on a buddy's porch. So, we went into it expecting pretty average porch BBQ. But WOW! This guy knows how to COOK. We were really impressed by how good everything we ordered was, not a single thing we got wasn't amazing. Everything was seasoned really well but not too salty, and all tasted so homemade. He told us even the pickles he makes himself, and they were perfect! The attention to detail in the food is amazing, like all the herbs in the pickles and the meringue on the banana pudding. Definitely coming back before we leave.

They always have delicious specials of the day! Great food and laid back dining atmosphere. Great for families with young children.

I have a soft chin and am a pacifist at heart, but would bare knuckle fight for this dudes ribs! These supposed locals who left bad reviews don’t know what they’re talking about. I lived in New Orleans for 5 years and have traveled all of the USA, eaten at some of the best dives in the country, and this place is straight up fire! Some of the best food in our area without a doubt.

WE love this place! Brian is super nice and fun to talk to. They have GREAT pulled pork sandwiches (and he makes great pickles)! I've heard the ribs are killer!

This place is a fun find. It’s kind of hidden right before the island bridge. The owner was super friendly. We order chili dogs with cheese and onions, they were delicious and to my surprise it’s actually 2 dogs not one like we were expecting so definitely worth the small fee of eights bucks. The owner also gave us a sample of his wings (which were delicious as well) and brought out homemade banana pudding that we didn’t order. Great fun beach atmosphere.

We had driven by and not noticed this new restaurant, but pictures of their food had us slow down and look for it. It is a family restaurant, and they couldn't be nicer or more helpful in pointing you toward what you want. You can check out the weekly specials online. Finish with the banana pudding, chock full of bananas and wafers.
