During our first visit to Rome, one of the joys of Roman food was porchetta. The porky crunchy goodness was so epically good. I think we must have eaten it every day. Try as we might we found nowhere in the US that had anything close to what we experienced there until now. Straight from Rome and this pork is just incredible, there is nothing like it out there anywhere. We are so blessed to have this authentic Roman delicacy made by a Roman just as you get in Rome. Don't miss this truck. I hope he moves up to brick and mortar someday but regardless I pray that this venture is successful. You have to try this pork. I would give Porchettoni 6 stars if I could. I will be back again and again and again. Don't miss it. Stop by for a sample. It's just so good.

We drove four hours (there and back) just to try their food and it was amazing. The moist pork, with the crispy skin, literally melted in your mouth with the perfect crunch. We WILL make that drive again, hands down the best food we've had in a LONG TIME. Amazing service, and they were so kind, such great people. Thank you guys, it was all worth it 🖤 my husband had the porchetta sandwich, while I had the Cacio e pepe with Porchetta.

Both the porchetta and chicken parm sandwiches were delicious from the meat to high quality cheese and bread!

I love this place ... the food is always perfect. Too many people don't actually understand porchetta, but as far as I'm concerned, it is amazing and I am so excited that I don't have to go to San Francisco to get real porchetta any more! For those of you out there who are curious, it's pork roast wrapped with pork belly and with crispy pork skin on the outside with lots of seasoning. It's a little fatty, a little crispy and really good! Went again last night and we got both the platter as well as pasta ala vodka. OMG ... made to order pasta that was incredible. The owners of the truck are really nice and while the owner is fluent in English, his wife is not ... but they are always warm and welcoming to everybody. My only regrets are that the truck isn't always open when I want it (LOL!) and it's not "fast food". Then again, fast food isn't always good food and this is good food.

I've given this place a few tries since they're usually parked right around the corner from where I live but I've always been disappointed. Last time I had a pork sandwich which was like 60% fat, I asked for no broccoli or eggplant, it came out with broccoli and eggplant 🤦🏻‍♂️ I also ordered mozzarella sticks, $9 for 5 SMALL mozzarella sticks, no sauce or nothing. Also what makes it even worse is the girl taking the orders, she's rude and seems like don't care or doesn't want to be there 🤷🏻‍♂️ I'm not coming back 👎

Do yourself a favor and just go. This is obnoxiously delicious and deserves your attention. You aren’t finding anything like this outside of Rome; what a rare and special thing to have here in our town.

We hired them for our Annual Party and they were awesome. Great communication, showed up early, and the food was terrific! I can't wait to go downtown on my own and try some of their other delicious food selections. We would definitely use them again. Thanks again for making our party great!

Went based on the reviews. Had ponchetti one other time before. That time, it was a 1/2" cut from the roll. If you had lechon (roasted pig) or roasted pork belly, before, porchetta is similar. Was given a thin slice of porchetta sitting by window to sample. was very moist and tasty. Yum. Was not given the skin to sample, or any part of the stuffing. Ordered a porchetta platter. It came with slices of porchetta. Porchetta on platter was dry, and some skin pieces were rock hard thus inedible. There was no flavor from the stuffing.. The fries were not crispy. Did not finish platter. . realized now that porchetta on platter may not be porchetta sampled. The 2 tables were situated away from the trucks so there was barely any light, and we were busy talking. 3 stars are for the other dish that was ordered. It was decent for the price.

Hands down, my favorite food truck in St. Pete! The pork is absolutely delicious, tender with a crispy skin, and the fries are well-seasoned. The service is friendly too...I highly recommend it!

My FAVORITE food truck in all of St. Pete. The owner Alessandro truly cooks with passion and you can taste it in every bite. If you're a cacio e pepe lover like I am this will BLOW YOU AWAY. Every bite leaves me wanting more. My fiancé and I have eaten from here around 4 times now and it just keeps getting better. The sandwiches, the pastas, the porchetta, all of it. Simply to die for. You won't regret it!

Took my parents here for mothers day weekend and we left full and satisfied! We got the suppli, porchetta platter, and porchetta sandwiches. All dishes were excellent! The suppli were not what I was expecting but delicious nonetheless. The risotto was a tomato based one and had a very delicate flavor. The bits of panchetta were a tasty surprise as well. I wasn't expecting much with the French fries but the seasoning they have for them is so delicious and unique it really made them into something special. The porchetta is one of the best dishes I've had in downtown st Pete. Crispy, chewy pork skin contrasted with the tender pork belly and the hit of the herbaceous seasoning kept you coming back for another bite. It's pork flavor and fat through and through and I can't want to have a reason to try it again.

This had the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. The owner was very friendly and even gave us a sample of the porchetta. I had the porchetta sandwich with a side of fries italiano, my partner had the chicken parm sandwich. They were both magnificent. Highly recommend.

I went with my wife to leave riverview just to eat this wonderful porcheta, very crispy, tasty, well seasoned, super juicy and tender, for me it is the best porcheta in the United States, and the owner is super polite and loving with the customers are all to be congratulated.👏🏻👏🏻

Awesome food! The chicken parmesan platter was amazing! The seasoning on the fries was perfect! The appetizer the rice ball with mozzarella cheese inside was so fantastic! We sat at a small table this evening the weather was perfect the food was amazing, kinda romantic only missing a candle on the table! A must if you are in St Petersburg!

Amazing food and super friendly staff

This is by far the best meal I’ve had from a food truck in St Pete, and I’ve probably tried 30-40 different trucks here. The original sandwich is absolutely huge and it’s packed with flavor. The sauce, meat, bread and veggies all go together really well. While he’s here, stop by and give Alex a holler and grab the original sandwich. 22nd St, between 1st and Central.

The food was amazing if i could i would bring the whole family but im not that rich altho if it was my last penny i will spend it here just cause i know its gonna be good every time im not gonna lie after the food was all gone u can still smell the beauty of the creation of him home made food ill will 100% recommend going here for a quick bite and go

Originally from Rome and featured on one of Atony Bourdain’s shows and now so love the Burg, he brings you the best of Rome in Saint Pete. I highly recommend you try his food. It is worth every penny.

This food truck serving amazingly authentic Italian porchetta is definitely worth a visit. They sell other items as well if you don’t want pork. They also sell the porchetta by the pound, or you can order ahead for a whole or half porchetta. Spectacular.

Oh. My. God. He got me with the enormous sample size-seriously, so generous. I’d never had porchetta before, so wasn’t sure what to expect. But wow! Talk about a tender, flavor explosion with the most deliciously crispy crust. We stopped just to check it out-and ended up on ordering a platter. If you see them open-definitey stop and get some! (Also-it’s 930pm on a Saturday and they were still here!)
