More authentic Mexican food than most of the area. Theirs also a meat market that's attached to the restaurant wich makes for convenient shopping after you eat.

I really love this restaurant, I enjoy eating the chips and salsa from here. I usually come here and order menudo, tacos and fajita.... everything is delicious. If my order isn't correct they get it right for me. I enjoy coming here and it's not packed so usually we sit, order and our food comes out pretty fast.

Everything we had was fantastic! I had the trio of tacos - 1 barbacoa rojo, 1 barbacoa blanco, and 1 al pastor. Each one was better than the last. The chips and salsa, enchiladas, and nachos were excellent as well. Can't wait to come back! Dug right in, so photo is when we were stuffed!

If you are looking for Tampa’s best tacos, head to Portales. Fair price, delicious and usually pretty quick in and out. If you want a real treat, get the asada tacos on corn tortillas, con todo.

Stopped by and ordered the pork with black beans and rice and got the onion and jalapeño option. It was so delicious I can’t wait to go back. Nice Hispanic grocery store/hot food bar in Gibsonton in the Family Dollar plaza. Butcher in back, canned goods in middle fruits and vegetables to the left, hot bar to the right, cakes and pies by the cashier.

If I don't buy something from this establishment at least twice a week. Something is wrong. Everything is from scratch homemade

Awesome place for cheap tacos that def beat every other place around. I mean, NOBODY comes close to these tacos! Street taco style with the white crumbly cheese, cilantro & onions, the bomb 💣!

Was really looking forward to a good chili dog. I would call it average. Plus the fact that I told the lady three times I just want chili on the hot dogs. I guess that was too difficult for her. I got cheese onions with my chili. Also the french fries for cool at best. I won't be going back there. Price wasn't exactly great either. I know things are expensive now but.

I tried the tacos and they were delicious. The food tastes fresh and it’s full of flavor. You can tell they put a lot of effort into what they serve. Next to the restaurant is a store with a variety of Mexican foods/snacks. Definitely worth a visit. You won’t be disappointed.

It used to be a full restaurant. It's a food counter now. I guess they will be reopening the restaurant again soon. I can't wait for that because they had an AMAZING menu.

Whole chicken tortillas pico guacamole and pistachio ice cream. Every time I go. Great lunch for me and my guys at work. If its just me I will get the pork and cactus Gorditas. Either way there always on point

The food is so delicious, but I went the with my husband for lunch today and we waited for 40 minutes for our food. I never had a situation like this happen here. I guess i cant go there for lunch anymore.
