Update: continue to rip me off on French fries. I ordered 2 chicken tender meals that come with 2 sides of fries 2x2=4 and only got 2 sides of fries. Original: I love Cracker Barrel but when I order something and it has 2 sides that it requires you to select I expect them to be added to my meal. I ordered 2 meals and should have received 2 extra sides of fries I barely received the first 2. Looks more like 1 and a half.

I think the food and service there is ok. A tad on the slower side, even when it’s not busy. The only real “negatives” are the FREEZING COLD temperature they have the AC set to. It’s not uncommon to see folks run out to get a sweater just to stay comfortable. There’s no diversity in the artwork. Im 100% sure there were people of color in the United States in their early days. I guess it fits their namesake. So atmosphere one star as it’s not wholly welcoming to people of color.

We went in at 8pm (they close at 9) The food was absolutely gross! The chicken and dumplings tasted and looked like paste. The pancake batter had clearly been there all day and was not what we've come to expect.

Every time I come here I have a great day. The food is so good! Especially the breakfast meals. I always order breakfast, doesn't matter if it is late. The biscuits are the best ones I've ever had. If you don't like cornbread, you can ask for extra biscuits and they will do it for you! This place is awesome but... Complaints: • Parking is difficult sometimes. • Cracker Barrels ALWAYS and I'll repeat, ALWAYS get busy, so preferably go in the morning or late for dinner. • The wait for food will take a while so be ready.

We often visit the Cracker Barrel restaurant chain. We like everything there. We were here for the first time. We came on vacation! But there was a special breakfast here today! We had the most pleasant impressions from the very first minutes! We had the best waitress, Adriana (that's what it said on her apron). I didn't ask what the 4 stars on her apron meant, but I would have embroidered 5 stars for her! ! I have worked in the restaurant industry for many years from a waiter to a manager and I wish everyone was so attentive, polite, and hardworking! I wish success and prosperity to your restaurant and Adriana! Still, I want to give a little advice, the mugs in which coffee and tea are brought were poorly washed and stained with coffee! They are easy to wash with Glorox Blush. It is safe because it is easily washed off with water, since it is anyway added to water and to swimming pools and many other places. Therefore, the mugs will always sparkle white without any effort! And everything was just great as always!

Food was amazing. Wish I took pictures but was way too hungry. This store is so beautiful. I really hope every other CB makes there floors/bathroom like this one. The floor is amazing. Makes it look so clean and bright.

I had lunch at Cracker Barrel yesterday and everything was lovely! The food was great, the coffee was wonderful, and the service was great. Afterwards I sat outside on their porch under a ceiling fan and read my book while rocking in their rocking chair. I will return again soon!

Mobile order experience was horrible. Waited 24 minutes outside. No one came had to go in the store and still wait..how disappointing!!!

3Stars Cracker Barrel has a cozy atmosphere and a charming country store, but the experience was just average. The food was decent, though nothing particularly stood out. Service was friendly but a bit slow, and the wait time for a table was longer than expected. Overall, it's a decent place for a casual meal, but there’s room for improvement.

Nothing worse than eating with some nasty music blasting in your ear.... It doesn't matter what kind of music what matters is the fact that you might as well be in some nightclub with a band blasting and when asking the management to turn the music down oh that's impossible... Last time I'm ever going to go back to this place or any one of their franchises they don't give a damn about their customers by their actions. I don't care what their ads say this was a big mistake

I have eaten here one time and our experience was pleasant. I met my buddy for lunch and we sat at the bar. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful. We didn't have to wait very long for our food and everything tasted good. The restaurant was clean and we had no issues while we were there. I would definitely visit this restaurant again.

The breakfast casserole was awful. It was full of thick sliced onions. More like an onion casserole. The first time I was not satisfied with my Cracker Barrel breakfast.

So we did a take out order this morning and it's like we received yesterday's food 😞. Everything was hard. My hash browns were so under cooked that I had to re cook them to be able to eat 😞. Not cool

I don't think is okay for this person name Cortney to decide who can bring in a service dog or not, I am very disappointed at the person who hired this employee, what were you thinking? Was there no other candidate? How can you allow a person like that to make decisions? I know its a private business and you can do what you please but it's not fair for other customers. Just seen like the employee favors other customers. Please train your employees right.

Great food and service. The atmosphere was good at this location.

Terribly loud and noisy. Unruly children screaming at the table next to us. Food on the floor not cleaned up from previous family outing. Food was pretty good, but cheese casserole is not as good as it used to be.

My coffee was served cold. My eggs was not cook the way I asked. They forgot my toast and when they brought it it was cold. I ended up not eating anything.

I usually order the same meal (the grill catfish with 3 sides). Again, I ordered my same meal. My 3 sides were Mac and cheese, hashbrown casserole, and green beans. My hash brown casserole was placed in a small bowl, but the green beans, Mac and cheese, and catfish were all placed on a dinner plate. My problem is everything was floating in liquid from the green beans. There was so much liquid on the plate that when the server placed my plate on the table, the liquid spilled on the server. The server even said, "Oh, there's a lot of juice this time". Why would the cook think this was acceptable presentation of anyones meal??? Why not put the green beans in the small bowl and have all of the dry menu items on the dinner plate? Who wants wet Mac and cheese and catfish??? Very disappointing with the quality of services received. Do better Cracker Barrel.

When I’ve eaten here in person I have no complaints, but integrity is doing the right thing when no one is looking . For me to get take out via Uber and for them to literally throw the food together is unacceptable. I do not recommend take out here . We found a worm in one of the breakfast. Manager credited only one breakfast and we spend approximately 90.00. VERY BAD IMPRESSION.

Food wasn't all that great. Eggs were snotty, hash browns were cold. The only thing I really enjoyed was the French toast and little bottles of syrup.

We were very disappointed this visit. The restaurant was very cold to the point we couldn’t enjoy the meal. The service was terrible the server disappeared and another server had to bring our check and boxes to go. The portion size looked like it was a kids meal. The eggs were very over cooked and cheese was ordered and it was missing. We weren’t offered refills and ordered loaded tater tots with ranch and had to ask for the ranch also asked for honey and was brought a bottle that who knows how many others used not the single server that was always offered.

Had trouble ordering on the app- some kind of error code that kept popping up so I finally had to call the restaurant because my sister was on her way to pick up food for my elderly mother. I ,called the restaurant and tried to explain what was happening with the app, she said hold on /cut me off — put me on hold and never came back to the phone. I waited and waited. . I guess they don’t care about their customers on the phone.

Well Cracker Barrel...you've proven, once again, why I didn't order from you for over 10 years. I placed an online order for country ham, plain hashbrowns, and 2 scrambled eggs. How can you mess that up, right? Well...hashbrowns were soggy and undercooked, the "scrambled eggs" somehow identified as fried eggs (transeggs maybe), and let's just say that my country ham is blacker than me. I mean...black is beautiful, but not when it comes to ham.

Seated quickly. Had great service. I would recommend adding more food to the children's menu as it was enough food for a one year old, not any older and we had to order more food for 3 kids. The entire shopping area of the restaurant was extremely sticky.

Went for a quick dessert. I had never tried the chocolate Coca Cola cake because we usually do breakfast and I’m always full. It was delicious!

I love going to Cracker Barrel. That old time country vibe is fun. I love seeing all the throw back drinks, candies, and toys in the store. It's so nostalgic! The food is good good and not an arm and a leg. I love that you can get a meal that covers the want for a sweet breakfast and savory dinner lol. My husband had some pancakes with cheesecake filling and they were soooo good! I did the fried chicken. Our server was great.

First time coming to this Cracker Barrel location. Me and my husband ordered food to go and went to look around in the retail. While looking around before we went to check out i went back to look around and thank god I did, we saw German roaches crawling on top of the buckeye containers. We put everything back and walked out forgetting the food. When there’s one there’s always more.

What happened to the homestyle meals at the Gibsonton restaurant? It is not the same. It sure lacked that feeling of homecooked!! Cat fish was okay, but greens dry. The biscuits and corn bread are not the same recipe! I think they should bring back OLD ORIGINAL recipes and menu. And why so much clothing and STUFF. Concentrate on the food quality and taste, please. Thank goodness Fred"s Market Restaurant is true to their name. Our server Alyssa B. was superior! She has been best waitress I 've had in a long time. Thank you Alyssa B. were went beyond and made our experience so much nicer.

To start, our waitress was great! But the food was horrible. I ordered the momma's pancake breakfast and my fiance ordered the build your breakfast. My sausage was a hockey puck, the pancakes were at least decent. My fiances biscuits and gravy, it was obviously not freshly made (they were tiny and hexagon shaped) they looked like they came from a Pillsbury can, and to top it off...they were extremely hard. I've been to many crackle barrels and this one was a horrible experience and it's sad because that's my local crackle barrel.

Let’s start with the reasons we will return to this location; 1. Our server Destiny is an excellent ambassador for C.B. She had a great personality, table presence and knowledge of the menu, 2. Paying our tab at check out with Debbie and Denise was a pleasant experience. They were helpful with the rewards program correcting my errors when enrolling, 3. C.B. Manager J.J. was a willing listener to my following criticisms’. Wife ordered Country Dinner with okra and mashed potatoes. Mashed were excellent, Okra very good, Fried Chicken over breaded and fried too long, Chicken was tender. My order was Biscuit Benny with steak fries and grits. Grits were excellent, steak fries were good, over easy eggs were well cooked, biscuits and sausage subpar. Things that need to be changed for our continued support: Put condiments on the tables. I'm tired of having my food served without condiments table side as my food goes from hot to cool or cold waiting for staff to bring out of kitchen, How about adding a spoon to the utensil package for the same reason above, OH! btw how about soft butter for pancakes waffles french toast, grits etc., by the time the ice cold butter can be spread or melted the entree is cold, I'm also tired of there not being enough napkins at the table. Don't understand Corporate decision making on the above it is customer inconsiderate and employee inefficient. Change or get changed!

The service rating is certainly not geared towards food service - this is geared towards cashier management. As regulars' at this cracker barrel, I was checking out and our families bill was charged twice due to the cashier equipment "crashing". The store manager stated I would only be charged once until pending charges were removed, despite the fact I showed her that my charge was indeed processed after showing her my bank card screen. I just checked my statement and I was double charged post pending. Nonetheless, I was held up at the cashier for nearly 20 minutes without an "I'm sorry for this inconvenience" being three staff members were needed to ensure I was charged (double, actually!). Check your receipts people! $150 later, I'm now handling a dispute that could have been avoided if I was simply listened to.

To be fair it was at the end of the night. Close to closing, but we waited for 20 minutes to get the attention of a waitress. The staff was just standing around running out the clock, clearly ready to go home. It would have been better to tell us we are closed than seat us with poor service. The food came out all at once and my chicken was overcooked, too long in the fryer, and the salad was old, end of the day so it wasn't fresh or crispy.

Completely disappointed with my food. My chicken and dumplings tasted like catfish.. my husband's pancakes tasted like oil and dirty skillet.

Update: as noted, guest relations reached out, but it didn’t help the first time we contacted corporate. They gave a redeemable free meal coupon, but when we attempted to use it on a previous occasion, they didn’t know how to apply it. We’re done with giving them our business, there are many other places to frequent. Unfortunate for the very nice staff who work there. This is our last attempt to dine here. Eggs undercooked, Greasy hash browns, sausages small and burnt, as well as the bacon. Toast is always served unbuttered which isn’t a bad thing, but the butter is cold and hard to spread, orange juice was plentiful, but lukewarm. The first few times we visited the food was amazing. I did reach out to management, but nothing has changed. The staff is always friendly and a really nice store.

The Bartender & our Waitress were wonderful. We checked in on line, so when I got there I checked in again. Then while waiting I tried to ask the manager a question and was cut off mid-sentence (Very rude) so I just told her we'll be at the bar. After waiting an extremely long time, my husband went to check on our table and was told they called us 3 times and send a text (which was 3 mins prior) so they gave our table away. Did I mention their Bar is right next to the Hostess stand and you cannot hear any announcements nor did they bother to walk over and possibly see if we were the ones they were calling ( 3 steps!). My husband advised them they will find us another table (of course it's Mother's day) so they finally sit us. We waited over an hour for our food, we didn't receive a few things, the fried chicken was overcooked and never received my Mother's okra. We were there 3+ hours... ridiculous!

Love shopping and eating at Cracker Barrel. Even enjoy the take home meals.

I was disappointed with 2nd meal for $6. On line said $5 but that wasn't enough for small pre-packaged 'meals' was not up to what I expected from Cracker Barrel quality.

First of all very clean. The hostess was very nice and seated us quickly. It wasn't busy so that helped. Service was good, food was good..we had the lunch portion ( meatloaf and mashed potatoes and one side)which was just enough food most portion are too much. I love Cracker Barrel but it is the 3rd time with service experience. Which is terrible seated and already taken my order waiting over 50 minutes and other that where seated after me having served and food being brought to them. Questioned a little as our waiter Bonnie noticing customers that she had brought the food out where seated after us already being served cañones to us and informed us let me see what is happening. Then come Regional Manager David Gomez and apologize stating it has only been 20 minutes informed then it was incorrect and had been over 50 minutes.(goes to the back and see what happened) cames back and informed me that food was on the house like if I was looking for free food how downgrading this is.

Wost Cracker Barrel I've been to. Seated then waited for 40 minutes for food. And it wasn't busy. Was fixing to leave when they brought the food. Wish I had walked out. Bacon was raw and gravy for biskets was like water. Will Not come back here again. Had to hunt server down to get the bill.

Usually spot on food service however there was plastic food wrapping on the back of my country fried steak. The steamed broccoli was crunchy and almost raw. I was really disappointed. Will not visit that location again, not my normal stop.

One thing that I miss is the corned beef and cabbage meals for St. Patrick's day. Please bring it back. My family and I surely miss it. We would go every year and gather at Cracker Barrel and enjoy family time and good corned beef.

The food was amazing and being new to Florida they gave a great welcoming gift of a fudge cake with ice cream! The service was phenomenal! Loved our server Autumn and the manager Courtney! Great people! The people around us were kind as well! Overall a great experience! 🥰

Stopped for late breakfast on a road trip from Venice ton St. Augustine. Food was top notch. Server Excellent and atmosphere was refreshing. Host greeted us promptly and seated. This store was obviously a newer Cracker Barrel. We asked and found it to be under 3 years old. Was the first store in U.S. with a bar.

As always the place to be for great food and a trip back to a world filled with goodies.

Really great atmosphere! However, the beans and turnip greens were old or sitting out all day. Turnip greens were dried out and lukewarm, so were the beans. Had to ask for the relish and onions that used to come with it. Onions were old, not fresh. Relish was good. Corn muffins were great. Biscuits were greasy. The server was awesome.

This is one most favorite places to eat..them make me and my family fill like you are home and they all are sweet and kind..Thank you all
