If I could afford to go here every day I would I wish they would do a yearly pass but it would probably be more than I can afford

Had a really nice relaxing day. It has been years since the last time there and a lot has changed but the water is still the same.

Great fun for entire family clean restrooms and grounds plenty of swimming areas for kids boats and jetskis. Lot of areas for picnic or BBQ. No alcohol so a good family atmosphere.

Best family gathering place! I've been going since I was a teenager, I've brought my kids all their life. I'm sure they will continue the tradition as they grow too.

Nice place to bring family to be out in/on the water. We grilled and had a kid's birthday party, he had a blast. Alcohol is not permitted. Yes, they check your car. Adults pay $6 for the day, and kids are $4. It's an RV park as well.

Had a great time!!!! Celebrated my sons 12th birthday!!! Friendly staff. Very clean bathroom and shower facilities. Nice clean picnic areas. Beautiful sandy beach swim areas.

This is a wonderful place to rv camp or to come for the day with your family. Great picnic areas, beach, and grassy areas with shade, very clean. Gracious hosts, that clearly post rules. No alcohol.

Great place, pretty low-key and the staff is nice. Very redneck crowd. They have a strict no alcohol policy which definitely makes the place more family friendly. Just be prepared for them to paw through your coolers before they let you in. Overall it's a great place to launch small watercraft and have a place to beach/hangout.

Great place to bring the family for a day on the river. The furthest beach near the fishing dock is quieter and better for smaller kids.

It's a nice family friendly place, but for some reason you can hardly get them to answer their calls, it makes no sense.

Tucked away at the end of a country road, you'll find Presley's Outing, where you can camp or park your RV beside a peaceful lake. We really didn't know anything about this place before we arrived, and it ended being one of our favorite stays--if not the most favorite. The owner, Lynn, is one of the nicest hosts we've ever met, and it was a joy getting to know him and the Presley family. In addition to laundry and a bathhouse, you can dine at The Boathouse, which serves classic American staples. You can boat, kayak, paddle-board, and fish in the lake. And in the spring and summer, can relax on the beach and cool down with a swim. It was hard saying goodbye to this beautiful spot, but we hope to return in the future. We were completely charmed by Presley's Outing.

While I absolutely love Presley’s lake for day family fun, and love their cooler checks for alcohol to avoid shenanigans and drama, I am upset by there organization skills of trying to rent a spot for a week or less stay. My son was banking on this stay to celebrate his sweet 16th bday (because his grandparents, who passed away 2 years ago, took him to stay here - they must have had a better booking experience than I had). His grandparents told me back then to book a year in advance, so I did, or tried to. Fast forward from early august 2023 to January 2024 I got a text that nothing was available for August. I asked if a year in advance wasn’t enough. They asked me what me name was. I relied and never heard back. Thankfully Styx River did not disappoint us. But I am still upset that because of whatever disorganization happened, that I could not book here. It’s all good though, if all goes well at Styx River, we will have a yearly vacation place to spend our money. But still PISSED because we could have spent our money at the place we love. Presley’s, please do better, y’all hurt my heart. Please get better organized. I’m normally not negative but this hit hard. I still love y’all. But for a days visit, still the #1 place.

You will love the atmosphere. Steaks or bar b que sampler. Becca is excellent server.

I love it, a very beautiful place to enjoy with family, friends and church brothers, I recommend it.

We have stayed twice and going back again. I can say if it was possible to give 10 stars, I would. The people are the nicest of any campground anywhere. I have camped in most of the states, and this is the best one out there.

Beautiful campground with lovely views of the lake. Super friendly, accommodating owner and staff. So nice to have a tasty restaurant on site to treat ourselves for dinner. Only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is they were updating women’s showers on the weekend making it difficult to use facilities.

Had an amazing stay here January 2022! Host was extremely helpful getting me backed in and set up as I arrived around 8 pm and was more than accommodating to all questions we had! Super friendly and down to earth people at a great RV! Def would stay again and recommend to anyone!

Nice quiet campground with a beautiful lake for swimming and fishing, beautiful grounds and camp spots with level concrete strips and patio with picnic tables, laid out really nice, I could spend a few weeks here easily, I will definitely be day soon and hopefully during season when the restaurant is open, everyone raves about the food, I must try a smoked steak and some smoked Mac and Cheese.

This is a terrific campground. Stayed here for one night and was on a deadline so could not stay longer. Will definitly make plans to come back and stay longer. Very quite, nice lake for fishing and Len Presley the owner was one of the most delightful and helpful people I have ever met. What a great campground.

My church group held our annual Christmas Celebration at Presley’s Outing again this year. The food was excellent , especially the Bread Pudding dessert! Very roomy and spacious to fit pretty much any group. The servers were excellent and took care of all needs. The price was fair. I like going to Presley’s alone or with my wife. Service is always excellent and the atmosphere is terrific!

Great place and family oriented.

This is such a beautiful and well kept park. The owner came out to greet us and took us to our site. He stayed and chatted and I asked him if they had a grocery store around and he said yes, I told him I only needed dog food and he said" I'll go and get it for you" I was shocked. Not only the owners were friendly, but the campsites are clean and have decks at all of them. I would recommend them highly and wished we were staying more than a night. We will be back.

We had a ton of fun, the water was chilly, but we got used to it. The building was closed. I would definitely recommend visiting before the winter!

Love to go all the time if I could

Very disappointed in how it is being ran now. We have been regulars for over 20 years. Now it seems they are just letting all the rules go alcohol, music blaring, cigarette butts everywhere that it’s hard to let your kids play in the sand, piles of charcoal just laying in the sand and people now park anywhere including up by the picnic tables, the boats and jet skis are driving right up to the rope to where it’s going to cause someone to get injured or killed. Please clean this place back up and have it patrolled again. If you aren’t going to take pride it in anymore then close it down. Mr Presley would never have let it get this bad. A week later and things are still the same. It’s sad the amount of cigarette butts laying on the beach and grass that you have to make sure your kids don’t play with.

Loved it! Popup camper here, we were placed in the field as the RV spots are reserved for sewer hookups, still had power access. RV/Trailer spots have decks, be mindful of your stair height. Too many boats and jetskis too close to swimmers. Overall an awesome place!

My grandchildren had a wonderful time.

We enjoyed spending the day with our granddaughter. I must say, the restaurant exceeded my expectations. We expected stereotypical bland, frozen, fried food, but we could tell, the food was made by people who care. It had flavor and we enjoyed everything. The service was great too.

An awesome, authentic, southern, swimming hole. Massively improved of course. When I was a kid it was little more than camper parking, pavilion, and a boat launch. Now it's all that with multiple manmade sand bars making a cool fresh water beach. Upgraded facilities, multiple picnicking areas with brick grills. Board walkways, warf areas. Even large party tents and a restaurant with awesome food.

It had been many yrs. (Hurricane Katrina) since my family and I had been here, But my daughter decided to have my granddaughter's b-day there. We all were surprisingly 😃 happy, and pleased with the way they improved the property. We really enjoyed the beach area. They have parking near ur area, picnic tables, covered trash cans (with trash bags inserted), sandy beach area are very clean/safe for kids/ pets to walk or play on. The swim'n areas are safe,and clearly divided using booms. The grassy areas are mowed and well maintained. Spent many family reunions here growing up. It’s still as beautiful as I remember it being.

We had such a great stay here. Mr. Presley was extremely kind and helpful during our stay. Nothing but good people here. The campground overlooks the lake and it’s beautiful. It was nice, quiet, and relaxing. Definitely recommend staying here!

It’s a great place to spend the day on the water. They have a fishing dock, boat launch, spacious grounds, picnic tables, bath houses, and a restaurant for an affordable daily rate. They also have numerous RV spaces and grounds to accommodate large groups. They’re very strict on their no alcohol policy and check coolers and bags upon entry. If you violate that rule, they do bar entry for the remainder of the day. The water is clean with a slightly muddy, lake bottom, as expected. When the water isn’t high they have several spacious sand bars, as well as ample, shaded lawns.

Stopped with my converted campervan. Got a look from the man at the entrance, I asked how much a night he said 40 I said I'd like to spend the night abs his response was, "I'll have to ask the owners." He gets on the phone and proceeded to tell them that I was in a regular rv. Before he got off the phone, I told him, "Never mind," and left. They're must have thought my promaster or I was going to sully their campground. So, if you don't want to hang out with us regular people, then this is a great place to go. But it's fine. I wouldn't want to hang with you either.

I love Presley’s Outing!! It’s a place you go to and want to stay! Very quite at night , beautiful lake very clean showers , great food in the Restaurant. It gives me the most relaxing feeling sitting by the lake. It’s worth the trip !!

Southern hospitality on steroids! Mr. Presley greeted us personally and he is clearly suited to this function. It was like pulling in and rediscovering an old friend. The park has a lake which creates instant peace and boy is this place QUIET. Bathrooms clean, camp sites spacious, trash cans on every site so you don’t have to go hunting for them. I wish every RV park was like this one. Oh! I almost forgot, no alcohol allowed so no rowdy evening crowds. Love, love, love it.

Lynn Presley, presumably the owner, was over the top welcoming. We showed up after he had left the office but he came right out to greet us and show us to our RV site. We only spent the night but it looks like a wonderful place to spend a few days - maybe we will come back someday!😉

Super fun, and not as packed as the beaches

Our church had a baptismal service there followed by a giant cookout with all the trimmings. Presley's Outing is a family-run, family-friendly, alcohol-free RV park situated on a quiet branch of the Escatawpa River. There is plenty of pull through RV parking for short or long term parking. The people are friendly and easy to deal with.

Lynn showed us to our site, we had a wood deck to step onto from our trailer, I went to pay Lynn for the one nite we were there and he told me it was on the house, he gave us the Michigan discount, great guy I would recommend, if we ever get back to Mississippi we will visit campground again.😃

I have been going here since I was a little girl many many years ago lol. I absolutely love it. It's a drug and alcohol free family place.

This is such a fun place! Very family oriented. Activities include swimming, picnicking, fishing, boating and jet skiing. Most of the picnicking areas are shaded. There are also rv sites. Looked like most sites were full so might want to check before hand. There is a restaurant on site. My group dined there and the food was amazing and plentiful. The restaurant is worth the trip alone and won't break the budget. We met Mr Presley and he was very welcoming. Alcohol consumption is frowned on. So if you're looking for that kinda party you might want to take it somewhere else.

This is a wonderful family friendly place! The grounds are beautiful and well maintained! They strictly enforce the no alcohol rule to keep the environment kid friendly. It's great fun for swimming, boating, or just relaxing and enjoying the view. You will find plenty of shaded areas, grills, and picnic tables as well.

Awesome, this is the place to take the kids

Love it here! Usually pretty peaceful. Parking is close to the water, so you don't have to walk far with your stuff & there's things for the kids to do .. volleyball, basketball etc. They put on an awesome fireworks show for the 4th of July too!

Been coming here for the last 42 years. It is constantly improving and getting better. There isn't time or space available here for me to list all of the reasons you, your family, and friends should go here. The number of years alone, they have been in business, clearly speaks for itself.

Love this place been coming here since I was a kid. Great place to spend the day on the lake with the kids. Always have Birthday parties and get togethers here.

Great, stand is awesome, beautiful area

Not our favorite. Sure, a few sites get a pretty view. But other than that— —>Most people live here, or at least leave their campers here for LONG lengths of time. (Looking at google earth should have been our first clue.) —>The “pull through” sites we were in for our few nights were so muddy. The camper previously in our spot left huge ruts that we thankfully didn’t get stuck in. Not to mention, they’re short. We had to park our truck in the parking lot which we did not love. —> The beach is muddy and mostly a spot to cool off for the locals. —> Everyone flies through there especially since it’s open to the public. Our GPS also took us down a smaller backroad so if you choose to go here, be careful if you’re in a longer camper. It’s inexpensive but not somewhere we would return.

Good place to get out and be in the water. It's $5 per person to get in and no drugs or alcohol allowed. Nice family outing.
