Delicious food in Friendly people

Wanting a home cooked breakfast? This is the place. You cannot get more “home cooked” than this. Incredible!! May take some time because each plate is made from scratch but it’s worth it!

Breakfast was great. Small town diner atmosphere.

“Never judge a book by its cover” My wife and I stayed in the cabins down the road the weekend before Memorial Day weekend. We wanted to find a place for breakfast and decided on this place. Nothing particularly special on the outside or inside, but we were served by a young man who seemed modest. The menu was very simple, which I taken a liking to (most menus can be quite over bearing honestly). The atmosphere was quiet and secluded and the wait time for the food was a bit long. Now to the best part. The food was, in the most simplest way to put it, pretty darn good! I ordered the biscuits and gravy breakfast which came with bacon and eggs, and topped it off with French toast. I can honestly tell you, this food is down home style, made from scratch, country cookin! Imagine going down to grandmas, and she decides to make breakfast from scratch. Nothing fancy, but the food is delicious. My wife had sausage and eggs. Eggs cooked right and the sausage, immaculate (crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside). The bacon was crispy and the French toast reminded me of how my grandmother would make it, as I put it. The food was well worth the wait, given it seemed like there was only one woman manning the kitchen. I won’t criticize the wait time for food made from scratch and made right! If I wanted an assembly line of cooks making sub par food, I would’ve settled for IHOP. But this cafe was suitable enough me and my wife. This does not seem like a full on “kid-friendly” establishment ie. not much on the menu for kids, as I’m sure it is directed to deliver its food to the patrons staying in the cabins (which are aimed at adults wanting to get away), or the fine locals that live around those parts as well as hungry travelers. Unfortunately most kids may not find much enjoyment out of an old fashioned home style meal. But perhaps they might add more features to their menus for the kids. This isn’t IHOP, Cracker Barrel, or Waffle House. This is home made food at its finest. This may not be the cafe for everyone. But I think everyone should at least try this cafe at least once, if you happen to cross the area. My wife and I plan to visit again when we cross the area somewhere in the future. I will definitely give the other choices on the menu a try. Judging by the breakfast, I’m hoping to settle in for a treat! (Recommend)

Five stars based on a country café. Good service and the food is good! Nothing compares for miles around! We eat here every chance we get!

Food was below average Customer service was horrible. We were the only guests there and had to wait forever for our food. Ordered desert and it took 20 minutes (ice cream and chocolate pie). We finished eating and no one came to clear our plates. We had to set them aside on another table. Food order wasn’t correct. Ordered a cheeseburger for our 4 year old and specified just meat and cheese only. The server wrote it down. Burger came without cheese. Place was extremely dirty. Advertised as kid friendly but no kid menu. We love small town diners and were excited to give this place a try, but we were beyond disappointed. The entire experience felt like a waste of time and money.

Friendly people and home-cooked food await at this quaint little cafe. Prices are reasonable, and the friendly chatter between patrons helps the place feel like home.

We eat here every chance we get! The food is wonderful, the people are friendly and the atmosphere is family-kid friendly. They have a mini arcade, and a jukebox!

Great place to eat. They were very friendly. We had the fish dinner,it came wit 6 pieces of fish, fries, salad bar, desert,and a drink for $15. You can beat that!

Hot food made to order and with no mistakes. Pool table in back had a 5x5 rip in the felt. Whoops

Spent a few days in one of the cabins there, food was outstanding, service was phenomenal. Just a great small hometown restaurant, the friendliest people,customers and owners and employees.

Ringold Cafe is Jane and my favorite place to eat out. It is a family-friendly atmosphere where the service is always GREAT, and the food is just like mom made it. Their cherry pie is my all-time favorite!!! Give them a try.

We stopped here on our way home from a family vacation. The other reviews I read stated this cafe was family-friendly (we have a large family, so we always check for kid/family-friendly reviews). Upon arrival, we were greeted and sat right away. I asked for kids menus and was told they didn't have kids menus but could order half orders of something if we wanted. Our waitress came to the table and seemed to have no idea what was on their menu or how to customize sizes/pricing for kids portions. I was told they could serve a smaller plate but would be the same price. 🤷‍♀️ When I asked about an item on the menu, the waitress laid on my shoulder/arm and leaned over me and my daughter to address the menu instead of picking it up to look at it. She continued leaning over us until she found what she was looking for. She did this twice. It was very uncomfortable. We ended up ordering regular meals and just splitting them for the kids who didn't want a full adult-size plate. We had to ask for silverware when our food arrived. We also asked for ketchup at the same time. It never came. So we went to the counter and asked for some again. No one ever came to check on us at all or offer any refills. The service was awful. And before anyone comes for me, we were the only table there at 12:00pm on a Tuesday. The restaurant seemed interesting, like it has great potential. The food was okay. Nothing special, but not bad. I still wouldn't recommend, simply because of the bad service.

i just moved here and have visit a few times buy everytime i make it a point to eat here. good food, good vibes, fun people. everyone talks to everyone in there and it’s just so nice

Great local place to stop on the way. Wonderful food and flavors and the staff are very nice. We liked the fact that there was a rich salad bar and home made pie at the end of the meal.

I worked here for 7 years off and on a few years back. Best experience of my life. Noni taught me everything I know about cooking and running a kitchen. So good to see all the good reviews on this place. It really is like stepping back in time. You won't regret visiting this place, good food, good people and some of the most beautiful country on God's green earth. And believe me, those girls really do work their tails off, especially on Sundays.

Had the brunch. Awesome food, great service. They treat you like family. We were lucky enough to meet Winona been there since the beginning. She was having her 86th birthday 🎉 what a wonderful lady. Hope to go back soon.

My son brought an apple pie for our early Christmas event and it was hands-down the best apple pie I have ever had. The crust was light and flaky and the filling was not overly sweet, just filled with apple goodness. It was baked in the same pie plate my grandma always did hers in, and we were happy to return it. Looking forward to it coming back to us, with another pie in it!! I think we might have to try the chocolate one my son told me about! Thank you so much.

Stopped for breakfast on the return home from Broken Bow to Denton, Tx on a Sunday morning. Hands down one of the best breakfasts I've had in a while. Pancakes and sausage were delicious. Coffee was nice and hot, service was attentive and super friendly. Booth and bathroom was clean. Will make it a point to stop again next time we are in the area for sure

Spent the weekend in broken bow an on our way back home we stopped and got breakfast. Great people and food. If we are ever in the area again, we will be back

Best you'll get in small town experiences. When you are done there go over to Baldwin's store, it's like going back in time. I love it.

Took a trip to Beavers Bend and did the Hochatown/Broken Bow experience. On the way back, I stopped at the cafe and had the BEST breakfast experience of the entire trip. Those two ladies could teach Hochatown a thing or two about breakfast. I will definitely stop the next time I am in that part of Oklahoma.

This bucolic cafe is nestled deep in McCurtain County. While driving on West Highway 3, if you blink you'll miss it. I had the pleasure of stopping in and eating lunch while out on location for my job. It was so good. And what's more amazing is the price!! These ladies are helpful, friendly, and welcome EVERYBODY. Pam and Kim are the definition of humble and kind. Reminded me of my grandma's cooking. I may have to take a trip out here again with my whole family. Stop in and enjoy the food and conversation. If I could give 10 stars or even 100 I would. 😍😍😍

great home grown place. my 9 yr old boy starts glowing in excitement knowing we r going there. the gals working there they have are all original. and dont be alarmed when u hear them tell u like it is. there honest hard working and they bust there tails. you may see my little buddy hunter a boy about 5 yrs old in there. usually on a phone letting the gals know who needs to be doing what. the foods hot drinks are cold coffey is fresh and the food is dang good .. IM A UNPAID SPOKES PERSON ( lol i always wanted to say that)
