Great place to stop and have a slice for lunch or dinner. They have a variety of pizza slices to choose from. I chose the deep dish slice, which is absolutely delicious. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They also have a catering menu. They accept cash or credit card. There are plenty of seats. There are plenty of free parking spaces. I highly recommend stopping here for a bite to eat.

Best Pizza south of the Mason-Dixon Line!!!

I like the place but won't be back the sauce was too sweet for me. Great for kids obviously. I wish it was good. I like the location and the informal setting but I won't be going back.

Went to Pronto pizza tonight. I was not overly impressed. The guy got my subs wrong, even after I repeated the order to him. Worse than that though, the young cashier girl was extremely rude. I think it will be awhile before I go back there.

They screw up a simple delivery order, offer you credit worth the number of slices that were wrong (half the 18” pizza)… And the credit expires in a week? No partial refund because those are the rules. C’mon… you have my money and you’re demanding repeat business? There’s lots of pizza around.

I've ordered pick-up several times. This time pizza looked great, however the sauce was runny almost like it was watered down, the crust had a strange taste almost like they gave me gluten free instead of regular crust. It was so bad my other half wouldn't eat it.

What a great surprise! Looking for a pizza place in Ocala that wasn’t too expensive but that wasn’t the typical chain that have terrible crusts… We were 4 people and a toddler (who surprisingly ate a full slice!) We had an XL cheese pizza (8 big slices!) that fed 3 of us (and the toddler). Then, bonus! They also served gluten free pizza. Usually, pizzerias who do offer gluten free only have tiny 10”. But here they also had 14” gluten free! Quite the unicorn. And so tasty. They were both so good and tasty! Both normal and gf crusts were delicious and the sauce was flavorful and so good. Our teenage kid said it was the best pizza he had ever had! Seems like it’s a good place to have a couple of slices for lunch - since other customers at lunch time on a weekday were doing that! Staff were very friendly and helpful and it seemed clean and cozy.

I feel like the pizza keeps getting better. Last year when we first tried Pronto it wasn't our favorite but we kept going back from how close it was. I'm happy we did. The pizza has been consistently better and is now one of our favorite spots.

I've been a regular customer at this restaurant for quite some time, but my recent experience left me incredibly disappointed. Last night, around 8:30 PM, my date and I were informed by a staff member named James, that they close at 9:00 PM, so we should "be quick". Despite noticing they were already cleaning, we decided to dine in as we were hungry and didn't want any trouble. However, by 8:50 PM, I felt like we were being rushed. I went inside to ask for sauce and returned to find our chairs taken away, while my date was left standing, and I hadn't even finished my meal. It was a deeply upsetting experience. I understand that closing times may vary, but such treatment towards paying customers is unacceptable. No one should be made to feel unwelcome or rushed, especially when they're spending their hard-earned money. This place used to be fantastic, with friendly staff, but it seems like there's been a decline in management oversight. George, the manager, whom I've known for years, seems to be absent lately. While he's always been nice, his presence is sorely missed in maintaining the integrity and respect of the staff. Overall, I've never experienced such disrespect in a restaurant before, and I hope the management takes this feedback seriously to improve their policies and customer service. Because of this experience, and distaste of treatment… I will lowering my over all review to 1-star. Thanks

Like a trip back to bensonhurst

Salad and a slice combo is fantastic. I usually get their white pizza and I've never been disappointed. The staff is always super friendly as well. If you are from Ocala then you already know that pronto is one of our staples.

Some of the worst pizza we have had. Ordered delivery. It was cold but mostly the cheese on the thick crust wasn’t melted. Barely any sauce. Just subpar pizza at best.

We hired pronto pizza to cater our wedding. The day we went to talk to the owner, everything seemed great. We paid the full amount that day, and asked if they would have anyone to serve or if we needed to find our own help. They said they’d let us know. Week of the wedding we text twice with no reply. So I ended up getting help just in case. Finally after that, two days before the wedding, they said they would send a couple people out to serve. Nothing was ever told to us that there would be an extra charge. At the wedding, two people brought the food and set up, and told our family friend who was helping that she needed to leave… They set up, told our coordinator we owed them money. So we gave them the money. The food ended up being cold. Our guests were serving themselves. Half the time they were outside or just not even serving the guests. A week later we got a message from the owner saying we didn’t tip them and they came all the way out to help with no tip..tips are not guaranteed especially with cold food and terrible service. We let the owner know of these issues and he said there’s no way the food was cold and if our guests were serving themselves that’s their problem…great way to run a business. About a week later, at 10 pm, we’re getting more texts about how the $250 we paid was a tip so now we owe the helpers their salary on top of that money. We told him no because none of that was even discussed to begin with and the service was extremely poor. He started calling our coordinator as well and harassing her for money. Definitely do not recommend this place for anything. Weddings are stressful as is. Find a place who will help you, not harass you.

Pronto Pizza is amazing! Not only was the food incredible the service was top notch. I had planned for catering from another place for a work Christmas party and last minute the service stated they had never received my order. In a panic with a whole unit of hungry healthcare workers, I called Prontos and they had even more food prepared for us than the catering service, they got it done so quick and even helped load the car! These people are incredible!! Thanks again Prontos staff, you truly saved the day!

Ordered my boss a pepperoni pizza due to them seeing patients all day for hospital. My boss arrived picked pizza up and it was a cheese pizza. I don’t think anyone would pay almost 18 something for just a medium cheese pizza. My boss didn’t show it at all but she was pissed. Sent me a text message and said don’t order from here again. The two worker guys were to busy talking instead of paying attention to the receipt orders.

I think they have new owners. The pizza doesn't taste like it use too. Horrible. It's a shame. They use to have amazing pizza. I ordered garlic knots 2 times and had to ask for them both times and they just looked at me. What a shame.

Their Chicken Parmigiana is usually really good. As you can see below there is a piece of cut up chicken (not normal) and no cheese whatsoever. I called to tell them I was not satisfied but did not want anything except for the cook to know that is not how to make Chicken Parm and she got an immediate attitude with me maybe she was the one that made it🤷🏼‍♀️. I will not go back and to spend that kind of money on lunch you would expect it to be right.

This will be the second time my order is either forgotten or messed up by the same girl working the counter. Patite with black hair. Love the food but can't trust the staff to get it right. Called to inform them and was told I got the supreme. The pizza I received looks nothing like the picture on the menu but they win, I'll not be back

Was here 3 years ago. It was incredible. Went back the other day. Still incredible. Try thier jambalaya and garlic knots. No one else can make them this good

Prontos have great cheese pizza slices!

We ordered an XL buffalo chicken pizza. It was AMAZING. We also had the spaghetti and meatballs, and it was the best spaghetti I have ever had. Everything came out fast and tasted amazing!

Our son is in the hospital so we have had to get carry out the last 2 weeks. It is a little overpriced. The food has been good until today. We wanted Alfredo but no chicken. We ordered 2 plates. 1 came without and one came with. The alfredo had a lot of garlic which made this not as good as other meals. When I called about it. The manager or owner got belligerent and said my wife was lying about what she ordered. If he would have apologized and not called her a liar, the review would have been better. I I will never go back if that is the way they treat customers. Besides this review I will also verbally tell everyone not to support this business. And not just when asked. I can be very vocal and am spreading the warning around the hospital. If the food is overpriced, the quality and details (prepared as ordered/requested) should be done right. I am willing to pay extra if the service is good but expect my food to be prepared as ordered.

One complaint, and it was a big one, was craving a Cobb salad with ham (I guess that’s hard to find now) came across prontos, looked so good. Asked for no onions. And I swear there was extra😭 after picking alllll of them Out, the salad was delicious besides the taste of onions

I love Pronto pizza. My food is always delicious. It reminds me of NYC pizza. Also, One of my favorite dishes is chicken parmesan.

These guys are wonderful. I always make sure to come here when I’m in town. My son lives here and gets pizza every Friday from them he swears by Prontos.

Ordered delivery and my pizza was completely wrong. I called and they did replace my pizza, with the stipulation that i didnt touch the first one and return it. So, i was now 2 hours waiting for my dinner. When i opened it, the crust was very tough, and I order bacon and sausage on my veggie delight pizza. Neither was on it, but they put ham on it instead. I didn't call and have a second one replaced. Ate it as it was, 1 slice. Gave the rest to our Labrador. I will not order from there ever again. Poor quality of crust and toppings and not even the ones requested. Total waste of my money for what I received.

A great spot to get authentic NYC style pizza and the owner George has a wonderful personality and really makes the place feel welcoming and authentic. Highly recommend!

I got an order of chicken wings & they were the juiciest wings I've ever had.

My pizza was day old, eggplant parmesan was old and greasy. Calzone was tasteless. Service sucked. They food didn't come out, at the same time (AKA, together), but they had a nice ceiling fan, that's worth one star

The best pizza we have had in a long time! The garlic knots are to die for. Not to mention the chocolate mousse dessert. The owners are absolutely amazing and we will drive the 45 minutes to eat and enjoy the atmosphere.

They always come through for us when we need large orders or catering. Good prices, good food, always on time and great customer service.

I came in and got a pizza to share with my father . It was the best pizza ever!!

My wife and I ordered a pizza for dine-in on our most recent visit. The woman that took our order somehow mistakenly marked our order as take-out. We were seated at our table for quite some time before we got up to ask about the status after seeing others seat after us and receiving their orders whilst we still waited for ours. This is when we were handed ours in a box. Apparently, the mistake meant the pizza was made and ready for some time waiting on us to pick it up. At any rate, we acquired a serving pan and transferred the pizza from the box to it before settling back to our seats. My first impression of the pizza was that it was extremely scant for toppings and looked pretty pathetic as far as pizzas go. In comparison, the one that was served fresh to the customers at the next table looked very appealing and loaded with toppings. I can only surmise that had this been an actual take-out order like they mistakenly took it for, they skimp on the pizza toppings because the person whom ordered it would be none-the-wiser until the got home, if at all. However, dining in would be viewed by all so a "normal" pizza is presented. This is a shady practice and one I will not have repeated on me.

Checks off all of the boxes for take out Italian. Hot, fresh, reasonably priced, good customer care and then there is the sauce. OMG the sauce is amazing. I know it had to be hand made because it was totally delicious!! Okay stopped by for my weekly take out dinner for my night shift at the hospital. Ordered the eggplant parm and a side salad and a “cup” tiramisu. Salad was not washed! Gritty sand throughout. Otherwise beautiful. Eggplant parm really not so good at all. Kind of burned. And the sauce was not good. 30 dollars for my weekly treat. And sorry guys. I guess this place will be a hit or miss. Can’t take that chance of wasting 30 dollars

Ordered pizza with spinach, mushrooms and sausage. They used canned spinach that ruined the taste of the pizza. The crust was thin and tasty. We couldn't tell how the sauce tasted because of the spinach. Cheese was so so.

This was the first time we ate there. We had a thick crust meat lovers with extra cheese and a philly cheese calzone. All I can say is it was amazing. The best pizza we have had in a long time. We live in bell, fl and will drive to Ocala just for their pizza. I even made a suggestion for a pizza I would love to have and they said to come for my birthday and they would fix it for me. What a wonderful establishment because they said they would remember. I am extremely happy about this restaurant

First time ordering at pronto Pizza and it will be the last. The girl taking the order just didn't understand when we got the pizza it was totally wrong. Called and spoke to the manager he told us to keep the half of the pizza that was right and he'd resend out a half of pizza that was right so that we had a full Pizza. Never seen such a business do work like that.

I wish I could give zero stars.. the food is ok but the ownership is terrible. George and Sam are the name of the supposed owners. When I called them because I was shorted food I was treated very terrible and the owner George was very rude and immature. I asked to speak to the other owner and was told he was on a cruise. They then proceeded to say that my door dasher stole my wings! Very unprofessional and rude owners and employees.. I have spent a few hundred dollars there this past month alone and I will never order again. I cannot stress how bad I was treated by the employee and the owner. Very terrible place.

terrible experience this place has gone way downhill over the yrs, food is made thin with tiny little portions cheap on the cheese nobody wears gloves the restrooms are so nasty SMELLING no soap no towels, the girl behind counter is rude n impatient. used to be such a fun place with the old guy playing acordiann never goin back even dominos has better food

I'm not sure where to begin. If 10 stars was an option, youd see it! The staff was so friendly. The pizzas look like they should be the advertisement pizzas. The store was very clean. It smelled good. They greeted us very kindly. We sent less here than we would have had we gone to Pizza Hut or Dominos for way better quality and a total wait time of maybe 15 minutes for 2 very huge pizzas. I will never go anywhere else for pizza.

Terrible management and service. We ordered two pizzas. One pizza was not what we ordered (the manager/cooks fault). We were told to keep the cheese pizza given to us by mistake. A few minutes later, the waitress comes out with a dollar to compensate for no pepperoni on our pepperoni pizza. I told her we want a pepperoni pizza, so we would gladly give back the cheese pizza given to us which was only missing one slice. We wait a few minutes and we get a pepperoni pizza with one less slice! I am appalled by the disrespectful attitude and service. I will never be returning again.

I was given the wrong order, and the waitress proposed that we keep said meal for the inconvenience, in addition to receiving the initial/correct order. Moments later, the waitress returned with a singular dollar and said verbatim that the manager/cook was "really hard to work with" prior to telling us that he was not OK with giving us the meal that we initially ordered. After consuming a small portion of the compensatory meal, the manager proposed that we return said meal and wait again for correct order. The waitress then finally returned with the correct order After Is it really mangling it in effort to spitefully remove a small portion. I'm uncertain as to why my family and I received such treatment so we are only left to speculate. Would not recommend this restaurant

It was one of the most disappointing visits in my whole life. The manager mistakenly gave us the wrong order. Me and my kids gently told them to give us the correct order, instead he tried to give us back a single dollar. Very rude waitresses and the pizza wasn’t the best.

Really enjoyed this little place. Loved the fact that they had outside seating! The owner threw in an extra slice of pizza to my order which was a sweet thing to do on top of them all just being very friendly. The fried ravioli was amazing, not battered and fried like you’d expect and they’re my new favorite. Will definitely be coming back.

i got off work at 9 and called up the 303 SE 17th St Ocala location asking at 9:15 if they would be still selling by the slice, But they explained it was almost closing time (which was at 10)so they had stopped, But would still make a full sized pizzas until then. I then submitted my order through their online service just to have it canceled a few minutes after. I then tried calling immediately after the cancellation to reorder over the phone but was ignored for several minutes while calling on mine and another’s phone. I wouldn’t of been upset if it wasn’t right after I got off work and for being ignored while during hours of operation.

I drove up to get food to go. Nobody greeted me upon entry and they definitely were not busy. They also said nothing to me when I was leaving all though I said have a good night loud and clearly. That's besides the point that I ordered chicken carbonara to go. Got home to find absolutely no chicken in my dish. Yes my fault for not checking but how do you not put chicken in a dish when the name of the recipe has chicken in it? Ridiculous.

I love the pizza sauce and toppings BUT the crust is thin and soggy. UNACCEPTABLE for a $25 pizza. If the crust was good, I would buy their pizza every week.

Amazing pizza. Very delicious sweet sauce. I had two slices. One with pepperoni and peppers the other slice with pepperoni and sausage. So good. Crust is soft yet crispy on the outside. Taste is amazing. If you miss NY style pizza. You'll love this place.
