I come from Orlando and I always got Publix fried chicken because it was my favorite. However since I moved to Deltona my closest store is Dupont Lakes, the fried chicken in Dupont Lakes is horrible. It's not crunchy but it is greasy I thought I had gotten a bag batch but no it's their usual way of making the chicken. I'm so disappointed. I need to find another Publix to see if they are better.

They have the nicest and friendliest group of employees around. Everyone is very helpful and goes out of their way to find what you're looking for. The store is clean and well stocked. I just wish Publix would lower their prices.

I’m very disappointed in this store. The deli is horrible. They never have anything available especially at dinner time. They run out of things quickly and refuse to make more to keep up. Especially wedges or fried chicken. I have to always go to the other Publix on Ft Smith and Courtland which puts out way better selections and is on top of it. The DuPont Publix deli also has workers who talk crap about their fellow workers right in front of them right in front of customers. And one older gentleman working in deli 3 times the age of my daughter came around to hand her his phone number and hit on her making her very uncomfortable while he was on the clock. This is just unacceptable behavior. Also, I’ve noticed a decrease in items in the store that were once available. Especially gluten free and sugar free items.

Very disappointed! Your online ad states that you open at 7 am. I'm at the store at 7:15 and turned away because I'm told you don't open until 8 am. This was a waste of my time and gas making a special trip to your store this morning!

Meh experience lately with this publix. More to the point it is the cold deli side and the sub station that has "been found "wanting".. They seldom have enough staff working in those two areas of the store, when there are more employees there they consistently and constantly are too busy chatting amongst themselves to be bothered to assist waiting customers. They congregate behind the bakery wall area and just ignore customers who are awaiting service. It's beyond rude to treat customers as if we are intruding on your time when they're "supposed to" be there to help customers.

The pharmacy has an awesome staff. They are all friendly, professional and very helpful I recommend them to anyone. 😁

I went to the bakery looking for a cake to not just celebrate my daddy's 75th Birthday on August 10th but to celebrate his life with the family since he passed away on August 4th. My Dad was a frequent customer at that Publix buy things here and there as well playing his lotto. Both the Bakery manager and the store manager made my pick-up extremely special. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart for what you both did. Words are not enough.

I went to the Deli there at around 5PM on 8/14/24 and Gloria, the lovely lady who made my sub, was honestly the most kind and friendly person I have ever had the pleasure of being serviced by. I wasn't having a very good week, but she single handedly turned that around for me by just being her sweet self. I hope someone important sees this and she gets the recognition she deserves.

I'm feeling so terrible I had a craving for a turkey sub I had my daughter go get 3 subs after I talked her into wanting a sub and my sub was so messed up lettuce wilted none of the instructions was honored wanted it toasted with oil nothing n it look like it was on the floor the bread is so hard. Ruined my dinner. I have no dinner

I've been going to this Publix for years, and I've even worked here in the past. It's been a pleasure being a customer or being an employee. The store is always clean, organized, and well stocked. The only complaint I have is with ordering from the bakery. Several of my orders have not been completed as ordered, whether it's platters or cakes; therefore, if I want to order something from the bakery, I'll go to a different location. Otherwise, all of my other experiences have been wonderful here. It's still just as great in 2023 as it has always been. Update: The two cakes I ordered for today were correct this time around, but then again, I didn't ask for any modifications.

I shop here mostly for their produce, meats, and hard to find items not available at other stores. Their sales and BOGOs. Always clean, always friendly and checkout lanes move quickly.

Staff always greets customers upon entering. Food looks fresh all the time. Stores pretty clean too.

Not only is this the store closest to my house but it's my favorite in the area as well Having shopped for instacart I've been to all of them. It's never overly crowded, the staff are all super friendly and helpful and they get to know their regulars.

I previously gave this location 5 stars, and until today they gave 5 star service. After today, I will never step foot in this location again. I am a regular patron of this location. Much like most of you reading this I spend $300-$500 on groceries here weekly. Today as I do every month, I dropped off my prescriptions. After a short conference, the pharmacist on duty on 7-16-24 at 5:45pm told me she is not taking any new clients for my prescribed medication. I have filled my prescription there every month for the last 6 months,at least. In fact, my entire family fills their prescriptions here. Publix, I love you, but this location needs customer service training, bad.

Like I said before, it's the expensive store. If you can afford expensive food, this is your place. We do buy boar heads there. The meats are great but other than that we go to Walmart. Sorry

The manager here needs to train the cashier's better. I placed an instacart order and included was 3 avocados. The cashier rings up 33 avocados instead charging me an extra $50. I only received the 3 avocados I ordered. Now I have to fight to rectify this issue that was not even caused by me!!

My favorite Publix in the area. Always stocked with fresh fruit and veggies and the staff always helpful!

Went to fish department Lady was rude throwing fish around and was no polite at all Lotto line is always a hot mess Wow Very disappointed compared to other publix I walked in customer service to return 2 items well one of the items were expired and I didn't have a receipt they didn't even give me a gift card saying they could not find the item very poor customer service that was petty trying to look for a damn receipt just for two small items very unsatisfied left the items on the counter I was so upset 😡🤬 I will never go there again!

I've always like running into Publix hardly ever asking for help, yesterday was no different except for the restroom the women's room needed a real good cleaning job.

Great fried chicken and variety of food.

Today I received some of the worst customer service ever from a Publix cashier. She was rude and stand offish. I greeted her and she didn’t even want to speak to me. I even went as far as to ask her how her day was. The encounter was so uncomfortable even the bagger left. The only reason I shop there is for the great customer service. I don’t think I will go back to this location.

Nine years ago , I was amazed with this place, clean, the customer service was outstanding. Still is.! The deli is fresh,the employees are excellent! I don't go nowhere else for coldcuts. However, I did notice, that the deli can use more Hands-On employees ! Especially when you see, several people waiting online to get a sandwich on their lunch break....

Very disappointed in the personal cleanliness of employees in the deli department. Came in tonight to get meat and cheese sliced and the young man who helped us out was not hygienic at all! First of all he came up to us with gloves on, who know what he has touched with them, then proceeded to touch his face and glasses. He did not change his gloves. We ordered our meat and then our cheese. He could not find the cheese we needed in the cooler, then another female employee came up to help him and handled the cheese with no gloves on. While this was going on this young man dropped cheese on the ground and picked it up with his gloves on. He did not change his gloves and then proceeded to slice our cheese. Mid slice he sneezed. He stopped what he was doing and walked over to the sink and WASHED HIS GLOVES. He did not wash his hands and change his gloves. He washed his gloves then finished wrapping our cheese. My boyfriend and I were honestly grossed out and did not purchase our meat and cheese. Very disappointed in our experience tonight in the deli. Of course there are deli individual that are great, but this young man needs a refresher on cleanliness.

Always a good quick store to shop, and don't forget to look for the bogo items. In flyer or on line.

My family likes coming in here to shop as well as me and my fiancé like to get subs and stuff.😊 I've showed an interest in working there and even applied. I have over 10 years of experience working in grocery stores. It feels nearly impossible to get a job here regardless how much experience you have.😔

We order from deli online and then pick up, always right and always on time. Very clean store

I generally like some departments in this store but it has some issues. I definitely do NOT recommend the deli catering and I don't recommend the floral dept. My last big catering order was messed up pretty good, disorganized and missing big items. The floral department has a similar thing going on. The 3/$12 flowers in the buckets are often dying and losing petals. There were literally no good fresh flowers in the store today. And even the flowers that seemed ok on the surface were not. Once i removed the plastic they disintegrated. And smelled rotten. Maybe they aren't changing the water in the buckets or something. It's not good

Do not apply or do business with the DuPont publix. They INTENTIONALLY misinform and mislead people into getting you in only to swerve at the last minute. They ARE NOT HIRING.

I have 3 Publixs that are close to my house, this is the farthest away but I drive to this one cuz it's the best and has A LOT of stuff the other Publixs don't have. And the ppl in meat department are especially awesome. Very helpful and nice.

Publix, although all your employees are the best in service, gold star, one in particular stood out for me the other day. Rollin, you are the best ever! No matter what I needed, he helped me get it. Being handicapped I couldn't find a scooter. He drove one over to me, couldn't find a product, he not only located it but took me right to it! He was so pleasant, like I was the only customer in the store that day! So thank you, Publix, for your wonderful employees!

Ok store. Clean . At least most things are in stock when I get there, and more choices.

Any day after 5pm you have a ZERO% chance of finding any cooked chicken available. No other Publix location have I ever been to where the deli manager doesn’t make ANY ADJUSTMENTS to meet demand!!!!! I can confidently say AT LEAST A DOZEN times in the past year I’ve rolled in between 5-7pm to find nothing available. I understand not being wasteful but this isn’t even meeting demand during your PEAK BUSINESS PERIOD of the day for this product. I should have taken a photo every time so I could prove my point further. Everything else is great.

The best grocery shopping experience in the upper Deltona area. Store is always clean, the folks are friendly, and well it's Publix. Only reason for 4 stars is The sub / hot food area gets backed up frequently so plan ahead if you are trying to get something because it can take a while even if your order ahead.

Got to love Publix. Most of the staff's always smiling. The parking lot is always neat and clean and well lit at night.

The Assistant Bakery Manager always greets me in such a pleasant manner. She always has a smile on her face, even when dealing with difficult patrons. Omlie goes above and beyond for everyone. She is a very dynamic person. Patrick the Grocery Manager is such a wonderful gentleman. Always asks if there is anything that he can help me find. He always has a smile on his face. He certainly appears to enjoy his job. I can always find him for anything that I can't find. He has even gone into the back area to get a few things that I needed. I must say that the Store Manager is not a very pleasant person at all. Regarding the three times that I had to speak to her, she was very nasty, rude and acted like she didn't want to be there. I don't go to her anymore. I try to avoid her. If I need anything, I just find Patrick and he takes care of any problems that I may have. I do very much appreciate him.

Well with the only other options we're the w and the d and bk we opted for a sandwich from publix and wow it was good and I am sure the turkey breast with all the veggies was a pleasant surprise

Their prices are a little high, but in a pinch it's ok. Ex their milk is almost $2.00 more per gallon than Wal-mart (publix brand VS great value)
