Was out on a group motorcycle ride and stopped in here with the group. Had no idea this was out here and was pleasantly surprised. Was recommended to get a Purdy burger by on eof the guys we were riding with. Got the original and was hands down the best burger I've had. I'm a big fan of the out of the way, place to eat that are a jem and this was definitely it. Looking forward to riding back out

One phrase is all it took to hook me, Burnt Ends BBQ Grilled Cheese". I never even looked at the price!! LOL

I honestly don't know where to begin. The food was fantastic. You know how some places you go and order fries and a burger.. and the fries are slightly cooler than the burger by the time you get it..? NOT here!!!! The fries were hot, the burger was hot, the gizzards were phenomenal!!!! Legit can't say enough good stuff about the food... Now the service...omg!!!! The ladies were so nice, attentive and kind. We felt like we were their only customers that's how attentive and wonderful they were!!! I'm very grateful we heard about this place because it's amazing!!!!

Very family orientated. But fast home style for fit a decent price made right. I would definitely come back.

The food was great and served fast. The service was friendly. Nice little hole in the wall if you want some home cooked food and great atmosphere. Prices are fair for the portion and quality. Definitely need to try the butter caramel cheesecake. You won't regret it.

We are there about every Sunday for their amazing menu of home cooked meals. SOOOOO good. The cooks should get a trophy. It's like they are cooking for their own family. It's that good. A locals favorite for sure. The staff is amazing too. They always treat us like good friends. Fantastic atmosphere and rich history, like stepping back in time in Fried Green Tomatoes. Biker friendly too with great roads to ride in on. Makes for a great day.

Good staff. Atmosphere reminiscent of a bar. Ordered the pizza. Like eating pizza off an ultra thin saltine cracker. I do not recommend the pizza. Deep fried mushrooms are great though

The food was fantastic! We dined on a Saturday evening. Great atmosphere and service. We tried their fresh pork rinds, spicy fried green beans, and breaded mushrooms for appetizers which were so good and great portions for $4. My husband had the fried chicken and I had one of their stuffed burgers. By far one of the best burgers I've had in a really long time! We will definitely be back again.

Had their catfish special, it was VERY GOOD (it was lightly breaded👍), price was very good also. We will definitely go back for more 👍👍. Nothing worse then greasy and this WAS NOT GREASY. FANTASTIC, Thank You

While out traveling, we came across this establishment and decided to give it a try. We got there about wn hour before the kitchen closed, and two hours before actual closing. We had a very kind waitress, our food was amazing, and the atmosphere was very family oriented and comfortable. The prices were slightly higher then expected, and the surcharge to pay with credit/debit (discovered only upon receiving our check) caught us off guard, however the quality of food and service made it worth the prices. It is one that will be added to the list of places worthy of a return trip for sure.

Every time I or we go there ,its been a great experience. Food is fantastic and the courtesy Is top notch.

We were driving by & decided to stop for a quick bite. They had a band playing & fire pits going. We ran into some friends & ended up staying late. It was a great get out of the house day!! They have great food & lots of outdoor seating.

The Spicy Purdys Burger was amazing! The people were the best ever! I dabbled in multiple people's plate and everything was delicious. The outside patio was in point as well as the band. I can't wait to go back.

From 4 appetizers to 5 different meals, plus 1 dessert there was absolutely no disappointment! Service was good and food was excellent!!

Found this place on a fluke ... Caught the sign while turning.... Great food, big portions and simply the friendliest staff and then there is Author..... All the best to you guys.. Will see you at the Blue Grass Festival!!!

I've delivered Pepsi products there several times. I got carry-out because of covid, 3 times now and i swear... the 8oz burger is amazing. Any bigger which they offer would put me in a food coma. Great place and always friendly.

Real food Oasis.... I had real homemade blueberry pie...I have not been that quickly satisfied since my Jr prom.

I didn't think that there was anything to see or do out that far away from civilization but I was mistaken. I was very impressed with the atmosphere and setting of this establishment when I arrived. This is a family owned and operated buisness which is almost a rarity these days and nice to find. Found this lounge when looking for a waitressing job and I am sure that I will be having a good time and will enjoy becoming one of the team at my new home away from home. Thank you again to the Purdys for taking me into the family I will do my best to not let you down!

Great pizzas, stuffed burgers, homemade sides, homemade desserts, wide menu variety, nice family environment by day, fun place to party by night. Worth the scenic drive!

My girlfriend and I went there today. Had an awesome experience. We both had the regular Purdy burger with fries they were all amazing Would diffently recommend it to anyone. We will diffently go back.
