Absolutely delicious! Everything was so good and fresh! The catfish was 10/10! Best place to go for soul food!

From Chicago but I visit NOLA a ton due to family, this place is amazing! The yams, red beans/rice, and cornbread were some of the best I’ve ever had. Service was super friendly and I will definitely be retuning when I’m back in town. Thank you for that delicious memory!!!

Great place for real Soul Food cooking. The portions are great. I can get 2 servings from 1 plate if your are not a big eater.

You won't be disappointed! We had the pork chop, mustard greens, white beans & rice, yams, stewed potatoes, and corn bread. Oh my goodness, all of it was exceptional! I WILL go again!

The food was absolutely amazing. We had the gumbo, fish plate, and stuffed bellpepper. Catfish was perfectly breaded and fried to perfection, with peas, potatoe salad, macaroni & cheese. Don't forget the cornbread, That's a way to a mf'ers soul! Gumbo was so flavorful. New orleans girl born and raised picky with my gumbo! Greens were so juicy. Don't forget the sweet potatoes pie 🤤🤤

Yes, I couldn’t resist tasting the food before taking a picture. It is soooooo good! The fish is fried to perfection. All the food is full of flavor. On top of it all, the service was great! 10/10

Please season the peas lightly, use little salt, and bake the macaroni (you know how we do it). Everything else is OK. And why is the potato salad white, by the way? Before I tried it, I thought it was mashed potatoes.

I’m not sure what I can say about this place that hasn’t already been said, but I had to give it a try after Hold The Mayo paid Mz Queen a visit. I was the first to arrive Monday morning and she greeted me like she’d known me forever. I ordered the red beans with fried wings, macaroni and cheese, and cornbread, as well as an Obama punch. My food was ready in 15 minutes and she called me to let me know. The car ride home was torture because it smelled so good. When I finally got to dive in, the beans were so full of flavor and had some serious chunks of ham. The wings were some of the crispiest I’ve ever had, the mac was creamy, and the cornbread was dense and sweet. All for $14 before tip. Hands down one of the nicest ladies you’ll ever meet in your life and you can tell she puts pride and love into her food. I’ll definitely be back! Thank you Mz. Queen!

The owner of this restaurant is the best. I got the red beans and rice with fried chicken and pasta and omg it was delicious. I will definitely buy my food from this restaurant from now on. I’m glad to know about this place. I really recommend this restaurant. the food is fresh and delicious.

Wow this is a must go-to spot! Only open M-F, you order through the window, they cook and call your cell after about 20 minutes. We did not realize you can customize the sides so needed a few extra minutes to decide once we learned that. Between us we ordered Fried Chicken, Mac n cheese, red beans and mustard greens. All delicious! And don't forget to save room for the Banana Pudding! You can not miss with Queen's Cuisine!

This place is GOOD! Seafood stew and stuffed catfish was tasty. The “Obama punch” was something Obama probably wouldn’t drink. It is really just red kool-aid. You can’t go inside so have someplace cool to sit in the meantime. Food takes about 15-20 min and they call to let you know it’s ready. I’ll stop here anytime I’m near the airport though. It’s worth it.

This place IS A MUST when visiting the New Orleans/Kenner area. Some people would consider this a "hole in the wall" kind of restaurant but it is sooooooo well worth it. We both ordered their pork chops, Mac N Cheese and yams with a sweet cornbread. We loved everything AND reasonably priced. It is take out only and once your order is done (around 20 minutes) they will call you to pick your order. Absolutely love this place and will visit again if we ever travel back. A+++

I stopped by for the first time in a Monday, that means Red Beans & Rice. I ordered with the deep fried pork chop and yams. Talk about good! Get cornbread to go with it. She is such a nice lady, makes you feel special!

First place we ate in New Orleans. Food was amazing. Also, almost dropped the food when it was handed over because I wasn't expecting it to weigh so much lol. This place is well worth it. Looks can be deceiving but trust me it's worth the trip!

I wished I had found this spot earlier in the week. Would've ate here a few more times. Had the fried pork chop (perfect), beans/ham/rice (way better than what I thought I ordered - was listed as just "beans"!), and sweet yams. They were not open for dine-in. There's an order window right of the main door.

Paid 20$ plus tax i got the stuffed fish, mac&cheese, peas, mashed potatoes. A bit pricey but the food is good!

The OMG wings may be the best wings I have had in the city. The stuffed fish is amazing. When you order a plate of red beans you can smell the ham hocks in it. The macaroni is something like what your grand mama would have made. Just perfect.

This place shares part of the block with what appears to be an auto body shop and it's hard to tell where there is parking for this place versus miscellaneous cars in states of disrepair strewn all about. When I went the dining room was closed and they were only accepting orders to a small takeout window. The whole place appears to be quite run down and doesn't even look like a place where you would want to eat.

It was good. The side window could have a little seating area outside or a little added shade would be nice. But the food was good.

Queen’s cuisine is some of the best soul food I’ve ever had. I don’t even like pork chops but I LOOOOOVE Queen’s pork chops. Everything was cooked to perfection and I would tell anyone if you’re driving by to SLAM on the brakes and get you some of Queen’s cooking!!

Omg. I haven't had soul food in so long. The queen of food is in and she is just as lovely as her food. A touch of heaven was on my plate and as I ate hit my soul. I was completely blown away by how amazingly delicious everything was. I don't wait in lines but I'd be out in the pouring rain just to get a couple bits. I absolutely love this place!!

Googled this place after leaving the airport. Inside isnt open, so you order through a window for food to go. Ordering was easy. 20 min and $20 later, I had this amazing plate of food in my hands. The smell was intoxicating. I knew instantly that it was exactly what I was hoping for. The stuffed fish was hot and seasoned perfectly. The baked spaghetti was creamy and had a kick to it. The peas were cooked well and the potato salad had a bit too much mustard for me, but I still ate it. I had half the plate for lunch and half for dinner. Its unfortunate that you can't sit down and eat, but I'd still recommend it.

Good menu, alot of good choices 🤔🤔. The shrimp platter with the cheesy noodles was really good though. Almost better then the catfish plate...almost

This is the quality of food I came to visit Louisiana for! This was my last stop before leaving, but it has been the best! My only complaint is that I had to eat it in my car, but that complaint was wiped away after trying the food. Worth the money, worth the inconvenience. Delicious.

Great food and even better service. Don't let price phase you, more than enough food for the cost! Shared with a friend and tried a few different things and everything was delicious. Chicken falling off the bone tender and turkey did not need a knife to cut. 100% recommend.

I had mustard greens, fried fish, and potato salad with a cornbread on the side. For desert I had banana pudding. My mom had the same thing but with chocolate cake. Everything was SO GOOD !! Ive been to several places and they only give one fish. At queens, I had like 3-4 pieces of fried fish that was season very well and thick. My greens was the bomb and the potato salad , yummy. Customer service was great. I definitely recommend !!

Great Value. Awesome sized fish plate at 10.99. Baked spaghetti just a tad bit bland. Water needed to be a little more salted during the noodles boiling. Staff ..extremely friendly and courteous....would've been 10 stars... It was my first time and I am pleased. Fish was piping hot. I traveled from the Westbank after learning about this establishment. Takeout only and very efficient ordering.

Food was great, service was great, can't recommend it enough. This place is right by the airport too so if you are flying in or flying out you need to stop here. You get a ton of awesome food for a low price. Was take-out only when I stopped by FYI.

This place has wonderful food. The fried chicken put the Colonel to shame. The banana pudding comes in a jar and is out of this world. Furthermore, I was treated with a high level of respect by Queen. Highly highly recommend

OMG! This is what I'm talking about! Soul food at its finest. The Queen has outdone herself. Could easily feed two people with Her Majesty's stuffed bell pepper. But I ain't gonna share, nuh uh... And her greens are unbelievable. I will never again trouble myself by cooking my own mustard greens, my favorite vegetable. Not when I can get them this good and at such a bargain. Got to go eat some more, the smell is killing me!!

Food is good, but NOT cleaning and deveining shrimp is a problem. It is highly important and should be apart of cooking and done at ALL restaurants. Also, I do not like yams out of the can. I like real fresh sweet potatoes and vegetables.

The food was absolutely delicious!!! In town for Madi Gras I asked a young lady at the airport where could I find some good food she immediately recommended Queen's. Just 5 minutes away why not. I felt like I was at my auntie's house and she sit down let me make you a plate. Customer service phenomenal even better food thanks again Queen.

Queen's is a hidden jem in Kenner! On Airline just a block west of Williams, if you blink you're going to miss it. When you enter this cozy place you're greeted by Queen,even if she is busy she welcomes everyone who walks through the door, and you can tell immediately this lady has never met a stranger. Now on to the food, before even tasting what I ordered just the smell tells you that Queen puts her heart and soul into everything she serves, and the flavor of everything just confirms that. If you are looking for great soul food where the key ingredients in everything is Heart and Soul you better not pass this place up.

Wonderful food! The Queen and her family were amazing. We are from Chicago and she showed us an amazing time. It was my husband's birthday and she made it extra special! Great people! Happiness with a side of fried chicken! We had been in town for 15 mins and immediately came here based on good reviews. If nothing else about our time in NOLA is worth it, oh well...we ate with the queen! Fried chicken and pork chops were absolutely delicious. Loved the yams, greens and Mac n cheese too! Then we left with sweet potato bread...ohh my! Queen, you and your food are an absolute delight!

Some of the best food we've ever had!!! Limited seating and parking, but totally worth a visit. We enjoyed smothered chicken, potatoes filled with sausage and shrimp, mac&cheese, pork chops and delicious corn bread!

Do not miss this place if you are coming to New Orleans. Best food we had during our trip hands down. Mrs. Queen treats you like family. This will be our first stop when we come back to New Orleans.

Queen felt like family when we walked through her doors! The food was so good that we booked another trip to Louisiana from Florida just for her food. EVERYTHING was delicious!! I mean everything. We sampled all dishes and couldn’t get enough. Staff was nice too!!! See y’all next week. Get extra sweet potato breads ready for us!!!
