Food great as usual but the F-Bomb laced political tirade by some of the kitchen staff turned me off.

Best diner in the area and a local staple. Fast service, friendly staff, good breakfast and lunch diner-food all around. Never tried the dinner fare. Better be hungry If you order the pancakes. They’re huge! Wish they stayed open a little longer for the late lunch days, but it’s a business that lives off locals year round and I get the limited hours need. Definitely a place to come back to!

Excellent food, service and atmosphere.

I went alone and sat at the counter to enjoy a Sunday breakfast. They were very busy. I was impressed and was very glad I was able to enjoy my time. Lots of regular customers. Several times, people were stopping to chat with others they knew. Families and cute elderly people were showing up after church. Everyone was very friendly and the food was great. The eggs were cooked the way I asked, bacon was crispy, but not overdone, and the homefries and toast were cooked appropriately. I loved the atmosphere and am looking forward to going again. Watching all the food go by definitely made me want more.

I think this is our favorite local breakfast diner. We try to stop here whenever we can. The food is great the service is great. What more do you want?

The vibe is very generic diner, but the staff was incredibly sunny. Little chilly, smallish amount of tables, very clean bathroom. We ordered a classic burger and a beyond burger as well as mac salad and fries. While the burgers came very plain (just cheese with pickles on the side) all the food was excellent. Great prices. Ketchup came in a bottle but all other condiments came in impossible to open individual packets. Nothing a pair of clippers from a purse couldn't open. Overall would visit again.

Service was wonderful, coffee was more mundane but did the job, but the food. Oh my gosh the food was fantastic, had an omelete with corn beef hash and some sausage gravy and it was truly delightful. Definitely stopping by this place when I can now, lovely little gem off the road.

Very generous portions of very good food at very reasonable prices. Staff was friendly and responsive.

On Friday the haddock dinner and the fish sandwich are great.

I'm new to the area and on a fixed income and I wanted to find a place that has good and affordable food, and this place is great. I've only gotten food from there twice so far but I will definitely be going back. There food is amazing and the portions are so good that I get two meals from one order. No matter how busy they are ( and they're always really busy) it doesn't take long to get your order. What can I say about the employees. They are very nice and treat you like family, they are very nice. Considering how busy they are the establishment is very clean. I would recommend anyone to go there. Below doesn't have what I would recommend but since I've only been there twice so far I would have to recommend their chicken ceaser salad and the fretta. I had also ordered a piece of carrot cake, would also recommend that, the slices of cake are big and very delicious.

The food was very good along with the service. We tried the sausage gravy, mushroom, omelette, and cheese omelette. The eggs looked amazing. No burn marks and the cheese was fully cooked within the egg. The sausage gravy was also very good. The toast wastoasted properly, home fries were also cooked well and the coffee tasted awesome along with great service and a nice atmosphere. This is a big inside and will accommodate groups.

I had the pancake slam 2 pancakes, 2 eggs and 2 sausage patties was delicious. My wife had blueberry pancakes that were loaded with blueberries.

Superb food & service! All around it’s great here. The parking lot is always full, but don’t let it bother you, pull in and park. You’ll be greeted and seated fast. The food is great and I can’t wait to return.

Always great comfort food and service. We come here after duck hunting or deer hunting. Staff are great, warm, and friendly. They always have good specials.

The breakfast club went here today, it was pretty good I think. Make sure to get there early, as we headed out there was quite the line to get a seat. I had the pancakes with eggs, ham and toast. All the food was above average, pancakes were decent. Papa had corn beef hash and eggs which looked very good and he was satisfied. The old man had the ham steak bone in and eggs, steak was dry but he likes it that way. Servers were busy but attentive and checked in on us, refilled coffees. Food did come out very fast as well. Floor and parking lot were difficult for the old folks to navigate. They do have a big ramp to get in for wheelchairs but it gets crowded with people waiting for a seat. Overall pretty good, a place I'd stop at again if we are out here!

Consistently great food, very friendly staff! Bestest breakfast diner ever! I wrote the above review 5 years ago, and this place is STILL one of my favorite diners I can still say they are consistent. The proof is in the fact they are ALWAYS busy.

It's the usual type of menu you expect from a diner but it's always good Only downside is it can be a challenge getting a seat during peak weekend hours.

Good little place to eat at reasonable prices(update) haven't been there in awhile went for breakfast it was alright the only downside was that the food came out cold other than that it was good and pretty busy

Food and service was great. Only thing is the acoustics. Very loud. But love this place and eat there often.

A great place to eat with good food & fair prices! We always make time for lunch or dinner here when in Central Square. The only drawback is getting a table sometimes-lol! They are usually busy. Try the Poutine!

We were at R Diner around 3:30 on a Friday. We were told to sit wherever we wanted. The server came right over for our drink orders. I asked if there were any specials, and she said not until 4:00. I had the open faced hot turkey sandwich with fries and gravy. It was hot and tasty, but skimpy on the turkey. My husband had the Reuben, half the corned beef was tough. The rest of the sandwich was good. I found out, after we ate, that it was fish Friday. Nothing about this on the menu and we were not told by our server.

My family visits R Diner on a weekly basis (every Sunday!). We can not say enough GREAT things about the staff, quality of the food, and the welcoming atmosphere. We have tried going to other local diners when this one is closed (which is not very often!) and have come to the conclusion that there is no comparison!

The food was good, certain items were a little pricey on the menu and on the special board as well. Atmosphere was okay nothing special but it was all right.

This is everything a small town diner should be! It's friendly, lively, eclectic and the food is very good. The prices are very reasonable and you will not leave hungry! They are not afraid of refilling your coffee cup and coffee is included with many selections. We love it!

Breakfast at R Diner is always a treat!! The food is delicious and the servings are surprisingly large. The coffee is good and it's difficult to empty your cup. The waitresses are attentive and pleasant, and serve you with a smile!!! I highly recommend it!!

Best sausage gravy and biscuits north of Texas! Never had a bad breakfast here. Going there now, as a matter of fact. UPDATE 8/22: Still great breakfasts but also excellent fried haddock on Fridays and mouthwatering prime rib once a month. But you can't go wrong with just about anything on their menu. Sides stand out too, including crispy fries and macaroni salad that tastes like Mom's. The waitstaff are fun and upbeat, and service is pretty quick. It's a greasy spoon without the grease--it's always spotless. Can't think of anything critical to say. Eat there; you'll like it!

5+ excellent Breakfast all day foods, busy because everyone loves the food ,no nonsense service, modern i -pad orders and discount for cash. Super eggs easy over, excellent Bacon sides.

The very definition of a diner. Pretty much nail the basics and really enjoy the Friday fish fry.

If your a single female eating alone don't expect good service! I got treated like I had the plague! Server never came back to ask how everything was, rude all the way around! First and last time going there!

Portions were large. Food a little bit pricey but not overly.
