Foods great but the service.. I’ve now called 3 times in the last maybe 2 months, to be told at 1:30 they’ve already closed their kitchen. Why are your hours till 2 if you need 30 mins to close a kitchen that makes sandwiches and salads? I worked kitchens, we stayed open till doors closed then cleaned. Just change your hours at this point…

I got a breakfast bowl with 2 eggs, bacon, cheddar, carrot, cucumber and tomato. My only issue was that I didn’t see any tomato. The food was great and the staff was helpful

My family decided to stop by for breakfast one day. It's a cute little coffee shop that serves breakfast food. The parking lot had plenty of spaces; the inside had a handful of tables to choose from. They also have baby seats. We ordered at the counter and the employee brought out the drinks and food to us. There is a table that has sugar/cream/milk for your coffee and a jug of water and cups. I noticed quite a few people ordered ahead and came to pick up their order. The food and coffee were delicious. I ordered the Whole Hog Burrito which came with two eggs, bacon, ham, cheddar, pepper, grilled onion, hash brown & chipotle mayo on a white wrap ($13.10); I also ordered a side of super crispy tater tots. We had a great experience and will be back!

First time going in and I was hungry! I had no clue what to order and they suggested the whole hog! I've seen so many pics of the other menu items and read multiple descriptions of them, glad I went with their recommendation! It was filling, savory and whole bunch of other words to describe happiness wrapped up in a flour tortilla! I honestly can't wait to go back in and try the next item! Oh and they have a really nice strong cup of coffee!!! Definitely a must visit!!!

If you want breakfast type faire in the Farmington Valley area this spot never disappoints. The burritos here always put a smile on my face. The menu is great overall.

I am giving this place five stars! My breakfast bowl was delicious! They put a lot of love into their food. My breakfast was very filling. The breakfast bowls come with your choice of bread, and a "McDonald's style" hash brown! The hashbrown was hot and crispy! Delicious! I'm not big on sauces but I tried the garlic mayo on top, and it was delicious. The only thing I didn't like was the coffee ☕. The coffee was ground and brewed fresh while I was there. It was way too strong! I've even had to add extra sugar and it's still too strong. I think it's because I got the 1st cup while it was still brewing and there wasn't enough water in the carafe yet.

Out getting a leisurely Sunday brunch and made a last minute decision to stop here and try out a new place: incredible!! The inside is a little small, but very cozy and fun. They also had child high chairs out in the open and easy to to find which is a huge perk. Now on to the food. I don't know what kind of crack they season their breakfast burritos with, but holy moly was that E-rito fantastic!! Literally texted my brother to add this as a "must go" breakfast joint when he comes to visit. All I can say is "Well done, toasted oats. Very well done."

I got their “e-ritto” without the sausage and bacon. The wrap was loaded and flavorful. Veggies and potatoes were well roasted and the chipotle garlic Mayo was addictive. They have plenty of breakfast and lunch options

The Toasted Oat Cafe in Canton, Connecticut is awesome! Their food is super fresh, and they mix flavors in a really cool way. You've gotta try the West Coast Breakfast Sandwich – it's seriously tasty. And those sweet potato tater tots? So good! If you like good food, you should definitely check this place out. Cool vibe too with a playlist of jams second to none.

Whatever you get: I beg you to add garlic mayo and if you are getting it already: add extra! The garlic mayo will change you for the better! 🤩 I love eating here and I’ve eaten here for years and I will not stop going to and recommending Toasted Oat! I recommend a packed bowl with EXTRA garlic mayo! ❤️

This place is just so-so in my opinion. I have only been once, so maybe I need to try again, but it tasted like food I could have made at home for less money - could have been just what I got! Inside is really dark so I recommend getting takeout if you want to order from here.

I’ve been to Toasted Oat in Canton twice now. I didn’t enjoy my sandwich the first time but came back to try a breakfast sandwich and to give them a second chance. For my first visit, I wanted to love “the Dillio” chicken salad sandwich. However, it wasn’t great. The chicken was very dry and hard. I found the sandwich unpleasant to eat. Strike one. The second time around, I ordered a bacon, egg and cheese on a hard roll. It was poorly executed as well. The scrambled eggs were dry and overcooked. Strike two. The bacon was not at all crispy but instead very, very chewy which indicates that it was not cooked correctly. Strike three, you’re out Toasted Oat. I won’t go back.

Tried to go at 9am on a thursday and the place was completely dark and closed with no signs or anything meanwhile everywhere else stated they were open

What a nice surprise! I stopped in this morning and had the grain bowl without meat. Yum yum yum! So tasty and the coffee is scrumptious as well. It's cozy inside and the lighting fixtures add to the cozy vibe. It feels very bohemian inside and I'll for sure return.

Best breakfast sandwiches and coffee over Avon Mountain, hands-down. Cozy little spot nestled off 44 with staff that are always super friendly. My go-to spot every Sunday morning. They also have great lunch options too. Definitely give this hidden gem a try if you haven’t already.

Food is great! Only thing that bugs me is being charged for basic condiments such as Mayo. (When you order online) I totally understand inflation but I think if it goes on a Hot Dog or basic sandwich the .50 for a small amount of mayo was a turn off for me. Regardless I’m still eating here because it’s bomb! :)

I got the West of Hartford Scramble, was amazing. They put a good amount of meat and egg in the scramble. Came with a nice sized hash brown and a tasty buttered toast.

The food is delicious. Crowded on Sunday but completely worth the wait. Best breakfast in town.

I just love this place. Great food and excellent service.

While they offer some good food... they are often closed when their hours say they will be open. I've gone many times only to find the lights off and the doors locked.

We got someone else's order and they let us keep the other person's food and gave us our order also. We only paid for our order. The food was so good we ate there three times in one week. Got the know meat, breakfast bowls and other breakfast sandwiches.

Was going to have breakfast but found it was more a take out place. Ordered coffee and the coffee was too strong to drink. I threw away the coffee and walked out.

Parked in a charming brick complex. Not sure where the toasted oats tie in, but this meal sure was toasty (fresh/hot) and tasty! Breakfast sandwiches are big and full of the good stuff, breakfast burrito was bursting with flavor and wrapped perfectly. Staff was overwhelmed by online/phone orders, but really holding it together! They have a cool little tea section too. I'll be returning to 'toast my oats' some more!

A bowl of perfection with each bite. Do yourself a favor and head to Toasted Oat. Don't think twice, just grab a breakfast bowl and thank me later. And be sure to grab a nap after.

Lars and the crew make an excellent breakfast steak bomb, Reuben bowl… and I’ve been getting into the custom breakfast burritos. Easy call in, pick up curbside, and boom!! Love it 2x a week, and so should you.

This is a locality owned breakfast/lunch place. Take out only at the moment but they have outside tables to eat at. Very interesting menu. I had a Reuben Bowl with pastrami, eggs, sour kraut, cheese, and taster tots. Delicious

UNBELIEVABLE FIND THAT IS FOR SURE

Stopped in today on a first time visit for a healthy lunch. My tastebuds were pampered with the #Healthy salad with breaded chicken and an organic lemonade & tea. Omg!!! So yummy and refreshing! Not to mention awesome customer service!

I dont like that they NOW ASK if u want to leave a tip. I give a cash tip Everytime because I want to. But I DONT LIKE BEING ASKED

I am a big fan of Toasted Oat’s good morning burritos. They’re a little pricy, but when you’re willing to splurge on breakfast the food here is a delicious treat.
