Absolutely no place better in Maine for a delicious and unique variety of luncheon sandwiches. Terrific atmosphere. We are never in that area that we don't stop and eat there. We live in Bangor and sometimes it's simply our destination.

Ralph's is a cafe every community wants and needs! The food is good, very relaxed atmosphere. I send all my Airbnb guests to Ralph's!

I've been here a couple times, and it was great each time! The food isn't just your typical breakfast options. They also have an awesome selection of baked goodies. I got a strawberry cinnamon roll and a sticky bun, they were absolutely scrumptious!

Super cute place with amazingly friendly staff and delicious food. My breakfast burrito was generously portioned and fantastic. My wife had a flapjack and was happy to enjoy with just the butter it was served with. We'll be back regularly. Highly recommend.

The breakfast was great. I had the banana bread French toast, wife had the special of orange - cranberry French toast and our friends had eggs, bacon, home fries with toast. We all loved the quality and quantity of meals.

We got take-out breakfast from Ralph’s and it was amazing! We enjoyed the huge blueberry pancakes and home-fries (with homemade ketchup!). The staff was very nice and the vibes inside were great, we will definitely be back!

Just stopped in for lunch and it was delightful! The burrito bowl with sweet potato and black beans was wonderful and filling, with a scrumptious combination of texture and just enough spice that made it interesting without hurting my palate.

From it's opening, my parents were early supporters and regulars of this Cafe. They have been gone from Maine for 15 years. This summer my brother went back and said he had the best breakfast of his entire life. And he's a foodie. I had occasion to return this October. We had the French Toast, eggs, sausage, bacon, muffins, sour cherry jam. All was outstanding.

This place is amazing have driven past it many times never thought to stop like a review said dosnt look like much from the outside but wow the food amazing we couldn’t choose so we ordered multiple things the bakery amazing! Going to keep going back to have everything on the menu. Also staff very friendly I have no complaints will tell everyone I know to stop in even if they just get a bakery treat I know I wanted to buy it all. Pricing very fair for what you get portion size quality of food

The food was delicious. However it took an hour and a half to get our food . The waitress was very nice but she had the whole place and only one cook.

This place is very unassuming, you might just drive right by without knowing you missed out on a great meal! They also have amazing gluten-free desserts. I had the best doughnut of my life here! Everything is homemade and super delicious.

Small town secret find. Huevos Rancheros were as good as other reviews. Sour cherry jam delightful. So many things that we wanted to try, so will be back.

We have eaten there three times. Two times just showed up and sat the community table and had a blast meeting folks from New York. Another time, meeting folks southern Maine. A third time we introduced friends to the one of the very best eateries I have ever been to hands down! Hope to get there this month for another fantastic meal!!!!!

Always love the food at ralphs..but on this day I ordered a simple BLT and the sandwich was thrown together sloppy when I picked it up to eat it everything just fell apart my bread was broken and the service wasn't good

We enjoyed brunch today with friends. The food was plentiful and scrumptious. Perfectly seasoned and balanced for a wonderful bite of heaven. Our servers were delightful and seemed to float on air. The service was impeccable. Our brunch had the feel of a diner meal in days of old. Unparalleled in the midcoast. The only downside was no maple bacon doughnuts till next Saturday, but the cherry stuffed croissant was to live for.

What an amazing little quirky get of a place! Fantastic breakfast, very unexpected and delicious menu options, cozy atmosphere. We loved everything about it! Definitely come hungry, and with time to spare - it is very busy (justifiably so). We will definitely be back, for the shakshuka, and banana French toast, and MOUTHWATERING home fries. Amazing!

It was exactly the typical small-Maine-town type cafe/restaurant that I was looking for while staying in the area last weekend. Various knick-knacks, collectibles, antiques, and photos adorn the walls of this rather small place. I wanted to try the banana bread french toast based on others reviews, but opted to try the sausage biscuits & gravy instead, while my date had the huevos rancheros. Both were amazing. My plate was a little on the heavy side for grease, but that was mostly expected. Her dish was perfect through and through. We also both had some pumpkin spice lattes, as they were in-season. The employee who brought hers out was quite enthusiastic about them and no issues making another for me 😄 They also have a nice little bakers case with goodies to take home. Won't forget about this place and would always return! 🤤

A warm and inviting staff delivering excellent and unique food choices. The baked goods are impeccable. Making a choice will be the hardest part of your visit. A great road trip adventure!

Quirky little diner/cafe with excellent food. The sandwiches are really tasty (as long as you like butter like I do), so were the bowls. We also had a crawler, a mini pumpkin bundt cake, and a double cookie cake... all of which were really good. The chef has traveled quite a bit and they have awesome pictures in the bathroom taken from all around the world! Highly recommended for a tasty lunch.

Everything we've ordered from Ralph's has been amazing! The pancakes are thick, but amazingly well cooked. 100% recommend.

I love this place. Other people do too. If you don't want to wait for a table for too long, keep your party small. Once you get in there the food is amazing. They really go that extra step. Each dish has that handmade appeal with culinary experience.

SIL ordered a cake for their wedding, and I arrived to pick up at a predetermined time. Everything was packaged and ready to go! Quick final payment for cake and off we went. Traveled nicely, and was delicious!

Absolutely amazing breakfast. The rasberry jam on French toast and blueberry pancakes brought us back for a second visit on our vacation. Such a cozy hole in the wall type place. Highly recommend! (It does get busy so plan ahead. Completely worth it)

This place was magical. It was exactly what were hoping for. The ambiance was great, the staff genuine, sweet and playful, and the food...outstanding standout. If you are in the area, you need to come. If you are not in the area, you need to come.

The wife and I were doing a tour of New England last fall and Ralph's was by far our favorite restaurant. Great food, big portions, good price. The wait staff was also awesome.

I have travelled a lot in my life and love small local restaurants. Ralph’s is hands down the best breakfast joint I have ever been to. My wife and I make an annual pilgrimage from our current home in NC. In fact, we nearly had our Covid wedding in Maine, just so we could ask them to cater it for us!

Great little gem we found on a Saturday drive. Worth the wait! Had the banana bread French toast with blueberries and the others in our party had biscuits and gravy. Hands down best biscuits and gravy they’ve ever had. Service was great.

As somebody who has a lot of food allergies, eating out isn't the easiest thing in the world- until you're here. Not only do they have an incredible glass case of baked goodies that are stocked daily, there are always multiple gluten free options- not just a measly "we did our part, here's a stale gf free cookie." I had the sweet potato burger on a gf bun and it was mind blowing. This place is a complete gem, and it's small in the way that makes it feel like home. Will always come back!!!

Ordered the #3 Breakfast, the Wife had pancakes with Lemon Curd. Other than my hash being way over cooked, the meal was very pleasing!

I wanted to give it 2 stars but I know how impactful it is to a small business to leave a low star rating, so instead I’ll save the negativity for the comment... I was really looking forward to dining here for breakfast after reading all the glowing reviews. We decided to drive down from Bangor to do so. Upon entering, the host asked us if we had a mask to put on until we get to our table. We did not have any on us. She then pointed to a single broken mask that was hanging on the wall and asked us to put it on until we are seated. The table was no more than 6 feet away, absolutely ridiculous. They refused to seat us. I understand it’s the choice of the business owner to require a mask, but I feel like it was completely unnecessary considering the very close quarters of the rooms where social distancing was never an option in the first place. However, I have no doubt that if they were willing to accept us it would have been a great experience. The decor was delightful and interesting. The smells and look of the food were mouthwatering. Bummer.

It was my first there Andy daughter's second. We had banana bread French toast. It was delicious!! The slices were very thick. The prices for the amount and quality was good also.

Ralph's is worth going out of your way for a meal. We arrived shortly after they opened and we able to be seated at an outdoor table. We all ordered the Half Jack, a meal half the size of the Lumberjack, with french toast, one egg, one strip of bacon, one sausage link, home fries, and the optional blueberry syrup topping. Such a feast!

If you'd like to take a gorgeous scenic ride out to Brooks, Maine; plan to stop at Ralph's Cafe for breakfast or lunch! That's what we did yesterday, and the food was fabulous! The potato salad was to die for, and the desserts were fresh and yummy. We loved our time spent at Ralph's and we think you will too!

We accidentally stumbled on Ralph’s while driving back from a Unity, and it has been the best surprise of our trip. It’s quaint and adorable with outstanding food. My husband had the Frenchie, and I can’t remember the name of what I had, but it’s the last thing on the sandwich menu…Garden Goddess maybe? At any rate, I can’t remember the name because it was so delicious I was too busy concentrating on eating it to remember. The staff are so friendly. It’s well worth an out of the way drive to eat here. Tip: Do NOT park over at the garage. We didn’t block it, but parked in front of the dumpster, which did not have a no parking sign. Our mistake. When we left we were properly reamed by a guy. We assured him we live 18 hours away so no chance of us doing it again.

Don’t drive an hour to get there for breakfast unless your going to arrive there by 11 for breakfast. We paid 2.25 each for two people after we drove over an hour for breakfast and arrived at 11:15 and they took our coffee order and said they don’t serve breakfast after 11 when they dropped our coffee on the table. We were looking forward to trying out the food.

This is just one of those cafes you go to and realize that this is how a cafe should be. Small little diner that is a bit of a drive from most places, but it’s very worth it. Had the breakfast bowl this morning, then the falafel kale bowl and some cheese fries for lunch. Right now the diner is open during the weekends, and they have a bakery during the week I think. The diner is 100% with a 20 - 30 min drive to be here. Nice staff as well. The pictures don’t do this place justice, and the portions are huge.

Best breakfast!!!! The omelets are the best I've had at ANY restaurant. The French toast and poached eggs are also amazing! The decor is adorable and old school also very comfortable and the people who work here are so friendly!!

This was our first time there, based on our first experience- This place is a Gem. 1) we (3) all got California BLT's. They were some seriously delicious sandwiches. 2) The fries were very Good but the ketchup was the best (I wanted to order a half gallon of it). 3) the pickles were amazing - I could sit down in lawn chair on a nice sunny day drink 3-4 beers and eat a jar of those things. I would post photos, but we were to busy consuming food. P.S. the bread is homemade and just ads to the greatness. Stay great Ralph's we will be up there again, for sure!

Absolutely some of the best food in Maine. The flavor and seasoning on everything we ordered was outstanding. The Korean BBQ wings were an amazing appetizer, and the Peruvian bowl was excellent! Cannot wait to try more of the menu.
