It was great, the waiter was so nice. We each tried something we hadn't had before and it was excellent.

Burrito had an odd off taste. Almost sour. Same with the salsa. Sour. I could not finish the meal. Service was alright. It appeared as if only one wait staff was on duty. I won't be going back.

This place is amazing! We had the Texas fajitas and they were very well seasoned. The customer service was excellent. Prices were reasonable.

If I could leave zero stars… I would. The service was horrible and the food wasn’t much better. We ordered quesobirria and 2 steak torta Mexicanas that had hardly any steak on them and they charged us $52. I will not be going back.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. Service was terrible. Had a problem with the order and they could care less. Awful customer service. Much better restaurants out there to spend your hard earned money. Will never return.

The shrimp quesadilla for lunch was awesome. I overheard a lady who ordered the fajita taco salad with shrimp and said she orders it all of the time. I'll try that next trip!

I don't do Mexican much since so picky. Family took me here while visiting. I got the Flauntas Mexicanas minus the lettuce, guacamole, and tomatoes and really enjoyed it. Look forward to going back next trip. Our serve was heavy on the Mexican language (I think all there are), so there was some difficulty with him understanding me taking items off, but it worked out.

Servers were very pleasant and we received our food very quick and you get more than enough food for the price.

Absolutely recommend! They were closed this past weekend due to some roof troubles but looked like it was in the middle of being repaired. I won’t bore you with details. The food is great! The food comes out super fast. Great service and a quite nice atmosphere. My wife and I have eaten here 4 times. 3 times we picked up and once we dined in. I fully recommend the place.

I am usually reluctant to eat Mexican food only because I have been traumatized by the national chains. Quite different here. The food was authentic Mexican, from the beans and rice, to the quesadilla, to the chimichanga. Even the interior feels like Mexico. Well done.

Party of 3 plus a small dog so we ate on the patio for lunch. Good, pleasant, and fast service. We each had a different dish and we were all very happy with the food. I wish it wasn’t an hour drive from where I live… I’d love to go back often!

Rancho Grande is probably the best Mexican restaurant in North Florida and South Georgia. Food is reasonably priced, very tasty and fresh. Their salsa is freshly made and the I have eaten in a restaurant. The place to eat when in Madison.

Best Mexican food I've had in a long time

My son and I shared the quesabirria plate. It was very good. The beef was tender and flavorful. We liked the salsa and queso dip with the chips. The margaritas were delicious too!! Would definitely return to try another meal!

Delicious Mexican food. Try the stuffed quesadilla with mushrooms and spinach. So good! The free chips and salsa are always warm and good!

All I can say on the food was the best tasty food I tasted. I had the Padillada mix and alambre mix. And to restaurant it self was very amazing will be waiting to eat there again on my next trip up there.

Been to Rancho Grande a few times in the last few weeks and the service is fantastic. The food is great but a few dishes lack flavor, in my opinion. I’ve had quite a bit of Mexican food and compared to what I have had the steak and pork need a bit more attention. It’s good but lack the flavor I believe they are going for. On some burritos and tacos you can’t barely taste the difference between the chicken, steak, or pork. As this is one of only a very few good options in the area I will continue to go but I hope they get this figured out a little better.

Taco salad had a rather limited ingredient content. My husband loved the enchiladas. We tried it again last night (11/13/2023 plates were hot food was not.

The only thing Mexican about this place is the staff! Very inattentive waiter, it almost seemed like he was inconvenienced by having to wait on us. I ordered a dish with a sauce and when I asked for a spoon I was told they had none! I asked how people ate the soup on the menu, and they had no answer! Do yourself a favor and just go to Taco bell!

Second time going there, first time I think service was better, our server checked on us and refilled drinks. This time, nope, not one person came to refill or ask if everything was OK. The portions seem to be smaller and the food is SALTY!!! even my husband who likes to salt his food said the same thing.. Last time I ordered the taco salad and didn't eat the meat hoping that was the over salted part, this time ordered Nachos with NO meat just beans and it was extremely salty blahhh. We only go to Madison every 3 months bit wont be going back, not worth the thirst and dry mouth afterwards ...Salt is NOT A seasoning..

I’ve eaten here numerous times over the years. When they first opened the service was great, the food was fresh, and the prices were fair. In the last two years, the place has taken a nose dive. No one seats customers as a host/hostess, no server has any idea what tables are theirs, no one checks on tables (we always have to flag someone down to order or get a drink refill), and the food is soggy or bland. Like all places, Covid drove up prices. But paying $60 for a family of 4 who share food is ridiculous. The only reason they stay open is there are no other real choices in town for dinner. Only eat here if you have to.

Out-of-town experience I was told this was one of the best restaurants in downtown unfortunately even though we were the only people in their things were a little bit slow and the food was average to mediocre if I go back to Madison I won't eat here again

We were shocked at how bad the food was. Food was cold, the seasoning was bad and the service was not that great. We've been trying Mexican Food in different US states, and this one, unfortunately was the worst. Really disappointed.

One of my favorite places to eat.

Not great. Food was mediocre, not much flavor but the service was terrible. Ordered our food, Hector, our server never came back..not even once . The host, not sure his name, did come over once to ask if we needed anything else, and thankfully he did because we ordered another round of beers and some more salsa. Hector in the meantime, just stood toward the back of the restaurant, talking to the other staff members without a care in the world. Last I checked, that's not how service industry people make money but it's not my paycheck.

I love this place for the art work that you can find it out all over the place.Also the food is fresh and super good.The owner it is always there and the employees are excellent 👌.

Despite being packed we were waited on fairly quickly and our food came out correctly and very fast. It was absolutely delicious, we can definitely recommend the mango burrito as well as the queso birrila tacos!!!! They were short of help but still have awesome service and we will be back for more!

We like going here. Good people, food and atmosphere. The chairs and tables are painted in Mexican scenes. There's a ceramic store attached to the restaurant. Nice family place.

I love this place! The salsa and queso tasted great. I did the 'create your combo' and got a beef burrito, beef enchilada, and a chicken tamale, which also came with beans and rice. I skipped the beans cause I've never been a fan of those, but everything else was absolutely delicious! My first bite was the burrito and it was an explosion of yummy goodness. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. I wish I had leftovers right now. I also had a margarita and a mangonada, both of which I thoroughly enjoyed. My husband had four tacos and he said they tasted great and where very flavorful. Jessica was our waitress and she was very kind and helpful when we had questions about different items on the menu. She was always quick about bringing out whatever extra items we asked for, which we really appreciated. They got our food out to us so fast we didn't even have time to finish our first basket of chips which doesn't happen most Mexican restaurants we go to. We are thrilled to have found this little gem in Madison and will definitely be back another day!!

Tacos and Tamales were awesome, Chips and Salsa as well as the nachos were great too. Would have to say this is a must stop if traveling though.

Traveling on I-10 and wanted some Mexican. I googled this awesome place and fell in love. The taste of thr dip was wonderful and those refried beans were the best I ever had. Rating is 10+++++++++++++ Definitely will go again when in the area of Madisjon FL

Prompt service, the food came quickly, and our meals were tasty. There's a little store attached with Mexican pottery and souvenirs. We liked this spot and will definitely stop in again.

Apparently, the strawberry-mango margaritas are great. I didn't eat here, but I had to pick my wife up here after a girl's night out... she raved about it... she WAS tipsy. 🤣 According to her, the toilet in the women's bathroom is a work of art.

Service is lacking on days good other times chicken tacos are good but always served wet and soggy with juice from chicken good flavor simple as with rest of menu ..little pricey for simplicity of food.

Food and drinks were delicious as usual. Service was good but a bit slow, at least after you got your items. They seemed to be short-staffed, so that could explain the service issues. Their organic margaritas are some of the best!

Authentic Mexican food. There street Taco asada pork is the best. We also had lunch chimichangas and there also on spot. The Mexican rice had peas and carrots in it, never seen ever a Spanish restaurant take pride in there food like this. They have a gift shop also.

Worst chili relleno ive ever had. It wasnt breaded or fried. When i asked why the waiter rudely said "Thats how we make them. Americans dont like them fried". Do not recomend.

Great food poor service. Two Young men who were supposed to be waiter's were more interested in a conversation they were having in kitchen area.Waitress who didn't have our table took care of us and got us out of restaurant

What a major disappointment. Drove 50 miles to visit Madison and decided to have lunch at Rancho Grande. We ordered two California burritos. The food is overpriced for the portion that you receive. The server was mediocre at best. Save your money and go to Taco Bell.

Great decor and food. Staff is a bit shady. They don't list drink prices and when asked been told different prices everytime. They have a grandiose margarita that's like 64 oz and gave us to go cups cause no way we could finish it. Perfect if you only want one drink.

Nice people good food. I got the street tacos, birria and Al pastor both were good but the Al pastor was best. Also the chicken and beef burritos are great. Also the michelada was amazing!!

I will not be eating at this establishment again. Who the heck wants to pay $20 for a medium soda cup of salsa? Or if you order it and say that is too much you are threatened with jail? My son ordered 3 steak tacos, an order of fries, chips, cheese dip and salsa It cost $61!!!! So he wanted to know how much the salsa was, as he eats the tacos and fries often and knows it is $23. When they told him the salsa was $20 he said, oh can you take that off, I don't want to pay that much for salsa... so not only do they tell him no, but they tell him if he doesn't buy it, they are going to call the law and have him arrested for dine and dash. Ok, that is fine. We paid your ridiculous price for sub-par salsa today, but you won't get another dime from me or my family as long as we live in this town.

We went twice and the food was good.
