Hungry Howie's Pizza in Madison - Phone Number, Reservations, Reviews

Ordered and picked up two pizzas and Howie bread - the pizza was hard as rock but the Howie bread was soft - we contacted manager he was of no help- so we reached to the owner who made it right by giveing us a refund for the pizza and said he make a fresh one next time we order on him .

Was exactly the perfect pizza, whoever made this pizza needs a raise 🤤 it was sooooo good, not just good but soooooooo good 😊

It's not as good as some locations unfortunately it's the closest to us right now. Update after a reply from HH. This is the second time we did give it another try. The first time pizza had way to much sauce and the second time pizza wasnt cooked all the way. Ive worked in a couple pizza places over the years i think the dough didnt rise before cooking is the problem. This store needs more training or something sorry. Thanks for the reply though.

Absolutely love this diner, my favorite pizza here is a sausage, pinapple and onion cauldron mix! Not to mention the wings are addicticting! Staff are really friendly and make sure they did a good job with the food, bit sad about the mac and cheese being removed.... 10/10 Quick food made good!

We actually ate there the past 2 Wednesdays. The prior Wednesday, 4 cheese pizzas @ 7.99. Every single one, not at all fully cooked. But the past Wednesday, was a bit better. Only the issue this week was too much sauce we got a sub with steak cheese and mushrooms for $7.99 and 3 cheese pizzas for $7.99

As with all Madison restaurants, the small town folks here are raised right and our cordial and polite to each other. We kind of have a Mayberry here and we like it this way.

Drove all the way from Perry, Florida to Madison, Florida just for Hungry Howie Pizza. We were not disappointed. The pizza was absolutely great. I only wish we had one in Perry, Florida.

I have been a frequent Hungry Howies customer for years, mostly the Madison, FL location. I always order the antipasto salad. This item costs $9.75. I don't mind the high price because it always comes loaded with plenty of meats and cheese. I ordered the same salad I have been getting for years today. When I got home, I noticed that it felt really light. About half what it usually weighs. I look and there's no meat or cheese on top. Ok, must be a mistake. I drive 5 miles back to HH. The guy says they told him to start putting the meat on the bottom. When I got home the second time, I open it up and there is a fraction of the toppings this salad usually had. I stirred it up to find a mere pittance of meat and a tiny bit of cheese on the bottom. Also, I ordered Fat Free Italian Dressing and they sent regular. Hungry Howies - this salad costs $9.75. It's an extremely poor value now if you are going to put about 1/3 of the usual toppings on it. I won't be back and I'll be sure to tell everyone I know how you're cheating people on these expensive salads now.

Apparently the lobby is closed??? So, we wait in the drive thru for an extra hour from the 20 mimutes we were quoted, meanwhile our food is cold! Gross!!!! This place sucks!

Short staffed, poor guy was jumping back and forth between front register and the drive thru. Too much sauce in baked spaghetti and the antipasto salad was slighted.

Could not place a delivery order, as they don't deliver anymore.

I know that it is a chain restaurant, but the food tastes so good. The salads are really good. I also finally tried the sandwich/sub. It was really good too. The staff are very friendly as well.

We ordered on line. It was very easy to put in the order and then drive up to the window to pick up our food. I ordered the pasta with sausage and cheesy garlic bread. It was freshly made and was delicious.

Pizza is hit or miss but this time was good. Found thin crust is better, reg crust tastes like a bad frozen pizza.

Bad server attitudes! Limited drink selection. Care less attitude!

Came here one day for lunch last week and they forgot my salad. Got pizzas for a bday party that weekend, had someone stop and pick it up for me, and they forgot a whole sausage pizza. I live 15 mins from town so I didn't want to go back. It is always missing something. If you go here, make sure you check your food and that it is right before you leave. Otherwise, food is good.

Travel from Valdosta to Madison just to have a Howies Sub. The 1 thing they always forget is to give me my Veggies. Those veggies add extra flava

I ordered two of the no dough bowls and there was very little food in it at all. Ordered 4 extra garlic butters didn’t get those either. I will never order from here again.

This store will not give the managers name over the phone and they will charge you for toppings they don't carry. Even better they won't give you your money back unless you catch the error while you are there. You have to wait another day to get your money back if you use your card because they can not refund it to you unless a manager is on duty. Never have I ever had such a rude pizza place.

I've had issues here I'm paying $22 for a large chicken ranch pizza and hey 6 pieces of chicken on it and the I order again on another day I get the pizza no ranch and cold I would give a zero if I was able to unfortunately it was not an option

Foods good but went in to set down ordered and got a 2 liter for everyone to drink and they don't have any cups or ice. They could of said something before I payed for it

If i could give 0 stars i would. Every few months i come down to madison to visit my family and everytime i come down im always having an issue with person or with a restaurant. Well i decided to stop by hungry howies to pick up my order that i made online and come to find they so happened gave my order out by mistake. So they told me they had to remake well no problem. Few moments went by and the young guys more like kids in the kitchen were just goofing around the whole time ...they finally brought my food out well this time they were missing my cheese sticks and i had no pepperoni on my pizza so they had to remake it AGAIN !! I was beyond over it . Idk where the heck the manager was.

Have never even seen the restaurant open to dine in past 9, the foods not bad but they have doors looked hours before closing

If there was a star lower than this I would use it the one in Maddison the staff is rude and always has an attitude I will never go back there again

Never had a bad experience food always good and hot I've had a couple times they forgot my sub kit lol but other than that it's the absolute best ✊🏾❤️

It's not terrible for the only fast food pizza chain in town. Quality varies, sometimes great, somtimes assembled and cut terrible. Delivery only available thru Door Dash and not HH Rewards app.

They have good food. I always get the calzone plus a salad.

Never waste your money here. Ordering on the phone is through a call center in India. Could not understand to order. Ordered a veggie pizza. It was covered in olives. Google it store! Olives are Fruit! First and LAST visit to HH.

Tastes great! Never had anything burnt or old from here I don't believe.

When you look at the menu online and the food looks burned...skip it..you'll thank me later..because restaurant's usually post their best work in the online menus..if the pepperoni pizza is that burned in the pictures then just imagine what you'll actually get 🤢

I love their pizza. Out of all of the places to get pizza in this small town Hungry Howie's is the most consistent with fast service, great pizza and nice people. I can't find anything to say against them. I try the other places and then back to Howie's I go. Just all-around a good place for good food! Thanks Howie!

It's good pizza but the prices are 1.50 to high in my opinion pizza used to be so much cheaper.

Pizza is always good. You can order in store, over phone, or on the app. I've used all of those and it's worked great each time. The app allows you pay in cash at this store (I know some locations don't allow that). Staff is friendly and quick.

I am not a fan of hungry Howie's Pizza but I was hungry that day and it was just convenient for me I don't think they put a lot of toppings on their pizza so it just a regular plain bland pizza The staff inside was real nice otherwise than that I am just not a fan of them I'm not going to downgrade them because pizza is pizza but I like when you get a lot of topping and that will really makes it taste good maybe if I have thin crust it would taste better but with regular crush it more dough than cheese sauce or meat

My daughter loves Hungry Howies so when she visits this food is always lunch. The first visit the food was fantastic the second time I picked up at the drive through. The girl said it will be about 10 more minutes. Well, she was wrong. It wasn't until we got back home to eat that we found all the stuff was burnt. Yuck.
