Have been coming here for years the owners are great people haven't seen them in months appears to be different employees. However,i ordered the breakfast burrito doesn't taste the same. Taste as though it's a microwave version. Potatoes are too mushy lacks flavor.

My husband and I have been trying to find a quality donut shop in the area. This will be THE ONLY place we visit from now on. The donuts here are so pillowy and soft. Now that we know this place exists, we're in big trouble 🤦🏾‍♀️

My family loves Ray’s! Our favorite donuts ever! There’s always a large variety of flavors/types to choose from and the staff is always friendly. We don’t go anywhere else for donuts!

I live very close to the lawrenceville location but they're never open. I take the drive to this location because they adhere to the schedule that they post. These donuts are amazing, priced right and the glaze donuts are THICK, way thicker than any other donut shop ive been to in area. Taste is amazing and the people are nice!

My family and I have come to this location for years and the service has always been wonderful as well as the food. Fast friendly service. My husband went in today and ordered 1 breakfast sandwich and waited over 30 minutes. Absolutely ridiculous! But when you see who they have working in the kitchen, and its not the people who own the business. Owners, you need to rethink who you hire to work your business or you are definitely going to lose customers. We will never come back to your establishment again.

Always great. Be sure to get more than one apple fritter if you're buying for the office breakroom.

Food is always amazing, delicious donuts, nice people. Only wish they had even 1-2 tables to sit at and enjoy sometimes.

I stopped in on my way to work and was very pleased. The case was fully stocked with beautifully made donuts. I bought one glazed and one sugar twist and some coffee. There was no line and I was in and out. I will be stopping in again!!

This was my first time going to Ray's Donuts. I bought coffee, one glazed donut, and one chicken, egg, and cheese croissant. All three were delicious. I highly recommend them and I will be a repeat customer.

We love this place, but get there early if you don't want them to run out of the vanilla cream filled donuts.

While the donuts are fantastic, they run out fast and don't make enough to get past 7:30am. Last 3 times I went to get donuts they were completely out and I was there by 7:45 am all 3 times. Love the donuts when I can get them but tired of making the trips for nothing, **Response to owner** - I came on Wednesdays and a Thursday. Perhaps make more to sell and what you don't sell you can donate to a fire station or women's shelter instead of throwing them away.

Rays are the best donuts in this area! They offer a wonderful variety daily. There's something for everyone. The shop is clean and they are open very early for those of us on the road at 6:00 am. I go out of my way to stop there when it is my turn to bring donuts to work.

It's a family owned donut shop, but nothing is really done uniquely, and it's effectively a donut and breakfast confection distribution center. The food does taste good. However, I had to wait a very long time before I was served

They get super busy during Friday-Sunday so make sure you get there EARLY before 9am because they SELL OUT of donuts quick. Assorted donuts/ half dozen donuts are half the price when compared to Krispy Kreme/ Dunkin and they taste just as good if not better.

If you haven't had the chicken breakfast burrito with the salsa, you're missing out! The vanilla cream donuts are pretty good too!!

Our family and friends love this place and we've been going here for years! The staff are friendly and they always bake their donuts the same morning. Sometimes they will give you some extra donuts! Their prices are the best and beat Dunkin Donuts and Krispy Kreme by a lot! Plus, the quality of the donuts and breakfast sandwiches are top notch! Their sorted dozen and half donuts are half the price of dunkin and Krispy Kreme! Each of their donuts are about $0.50-$1.00 LESS than dunkin donuts and kripsy kreme. This place screams QUALITY and VALUE! Warning** you must get there EARLY at open 5am or before 9am because they sell out quick!! Thank me later!

They have the best glazed donuts ever. I am from Houston, TX but moved from Denver, Co to Georgia almost 4 yrs ago. But in Houston, TX they have Shipley Donuts that are so light, airy and fluffy and you can get them hot in the morning. They opened a Shipley's in Denver, Co a year before I moved here but it wasn't as good as the one in Texas. But there was another donut shop that I bought my donuts from and they were good. I absolutely love donuts. So I googled the best donuts here in Duluth, Ga where I live and many came up. I tried Ray's Donuts in Lawrenceville off Scenic Hwy and they were good. But when I went back a few weeks after trying it the first time. The place was closed. So I tried several more times over the period of months and the place was still closed. I was told by someone that there was a death in the family and they didn't know when they would be back open So I tried Sarah Donuts in which they have practically a 5-star review. I tried 2 different locations. One of them im John's Creek was not so great. But the other off Jimmy Carter Blvd in Norcross was my favorite. And their donuts are made completely different and taste different from the first location I tried. Yet they have the same owner. So long story short. I live and work in Duluth, Ga and I have a customer who started bringing my boss donuts last year every other week and she would share them with us. I mean these glazed donuts were like heaven in your mouth. They have the absolute best glazed donuts. Including the Apple Filled Bear Claws . They are so addicting too. I love the blueberry cake donut. So I finally asked my boss where were those donuts purchased from. She had no idea. So finally I asked this customer when he came the next time to meet with my boss, where he had gotten these donuts from. He told me Ray's #2 Donuts in Buford off Gravel Springs Rd. I told him how they were the best glazed donuts ever. He says that all of his clients have the same reaction and response as me and said the same thing. Asking him where he had gotten the donuts. I couldn't believe it because they taste way better and entirely different than the location that is closer to my house in Lawrenceville off Scenic Hwy. Yet they have the same owner. The recipe can't be the same. So I drove 25 minutes from my house to Buford to get these donuts and still do. Because they are worth the drive. The attached photos are from 2 different days on Saturday. I should have taken pictures of the several dozen that I purchased during the week for my co workers. Who absolutely love them as well. Agreeing that they were the best donuts they've tasted.

Ray's is our Sunday morning tradition. We've been customers for years. Their breakfast burritos are great and I love their blueberry turnovers.

My husband & son came home with some Ray's donuts & a chicken sausage breakfast burrito for me. The breakfast burrito was absolutely delicious!!! My husband said he grabbed a coffee while he was there, & it was great. He's a bit of a coffee snob so the fact that he's vouching for it says a lot. I've also had half a powdered donut & half a cinnamon sugar donut (halves because sharing with the family). They were both amazing--fluffy, light, & fresh. Finally, the owner gave my son a bag of donut holes for free. Just tried one--also light, fluffy, & fresh. I was surprised because donut holes can be so dry. Bonus points for being kind to my kid. We'll definitely be coming back!

Rays donuts are UNMATCHED! The absolute BEST in the area! No one comes close… Dunkin needs to take a closer look at what a real, fluffy, amazing donut taste like! Y’all are the best! Forever customers!

Good food and amazing doughnuts. They are open until they sell out. If you get there and they are closed you missed it until tomorrow.

Donuts are always fresh! Tried the chicken burrito as well and while tasty for me, it didn't seem to have any cheese in it. I was ok with that as I'm not a huge cheese eater.

They’re sausage, egg, and cheese crossiant sandwiches are only $3.75. That’s cheaper or the same amount as the fast food places but it’s home made diner style. I’m not big on donut but my coworkers go through about two boxes in an hour or two one day every week.

I can’t say anymore GREAT enough thing about Ray’s. I went in there at 5am on only 2 hours of sleep and they were so sweet and kind which was the best way to start the day. Their prices are fast food comparable but the food itself is authentic restaurant quality. This place is a MUST try!!

The Service ok its Is affordable if you need somthing to eat real quick the donut themselves tasted amazing and extremely easy to bit down you could probably use your lips to bit it down that's how soft the donuts are they have coffee which is ok as well over all 9.9/10

My all time absolute favorite donuts ever! Family owned, local and fresh! My favorite is the original glazed but you really can’t go wrong with any of them. We ordered a variety of them for our wedding reception and everyone raved about their soft, chewy texture with just the right amount of sweetness. They were an instant hit and completely devoured! 🤤 Go try them for yourself! Just not on Mondays since they’re closed lol

Went on a Sunday morning. Looks like a good bit of people come here. Got their cinnamon roll and glazed donut. Glazed donut was poggers! Would have liked the cinnamon roll to have more cinnamon in it, but still good. Want to come back here and try their breakfast burrito and get more of those glazed donuts.

Fresh delicious donuts. I got cinnamon rolls and glazed donuts. The glazed donuts were very tasty. The cinnamon roll was good, but I felt they could use more cinnamon and they're more like a cinnamon roll themed donut. Prices are reasonable and staff is friendly. Everything on display looked delicious! I will likely return here rather than go to any corporate donut shops.

We were in Georgia last October for Road Atlanta. When we saw this little donut shop near our Air BnB, we had to stop for breakfast. How can you say no to a name like "Ray's Donuts #2"?? Anyway, quirky name love aside, these DONUTS ARE AMAZING! There are no words - just go get some NOW!

Delicious and fresh donuts. Favorite is the chocolate cake glazed and the strawberry frosted. They are so soft. They beat the chain donut stores for sure. They do close early though. They are also fairly priced. We will be going again soon.
