Great place great food great management

Absolutely loved the food! The spaezel and red cabbage were really good, and the selection of beer is huge (for those who drink).

We attended our first Berks Celtic Fest. The setup was great, The layout was good, good was good, and the bathrooms were clean. Staff was extremely helpful!

I was looking forward to BRAT wurst, not COOK wurst. Could someone PLEASE teach the cooks to cook the Bratwurst on a grill like they do in Germany. My Wurst looked so scared because it was NOT a Bratwurst but cooked in water and not grilled.

Went to the Pa Pitstop fund raising event that was held here. Well organized and a good time.

As always the food was very good. Service was also better than we have had in a while. They have new digital ordering and paying. We didn't order digitally but we did pay that way and it was very easy. The entire family enjoyed their meals.

Everyone here is nice, food is good, my sisters friend works here. It's like a community where a ton of people know eachother (that's sausage kabobs, goulash, and fries)

Please put the beyond burger on every menu. I came for the Bockbierfest and couldn’t eat. Thank you

Last nights soup event was wonderful! I tried a number of the selections and they were all very tasty. I thought it was a nice amount of people even though it was a rainy night. Hope to see more events like this.

Amazing experience, went for Oktoberfest and somehow managed to be the last people for a night, security was so chill and the energy was awesome the whole night! If you haven't been, what the hell are you doing??

Never again will I go to their Octoberfest. $15 to get in and overpriced everything once they get you in. They got too big for their own good and they are having hard time keeping up with it. I would not recommend going there unless you want to get ripped off. There are other better Octoberfest.

We were here for a wedding reception. Food was very good.

I was here for an event , very nice place and it's located off in the woods away from the noise of the city. The Bar tender was great and very nice. If I lived closer I would join.

They host lots of great events throughout the year. The grove / concert area is wonderful. They highlight lots of local acts. You can also become a member and take advantage to going to the club Wed-Friday. The Oktoberfest can’t be beat- its the oldest running in the US.

Good place for a large gathering. I attended a class reunion there. Lots of parking. Interesting variety of imported adult beverages. Good acoustics in the main ballroom.

Great place in a beautiful setting in the mountains. It's almost like stepping into Old World Europe. I will be performing there in August with BAVARSKI. I cannot wait!

Noone puts on Oktoberfest like the Liederkranz. Great food, fun times, and terrific beer make this an incredible time each and every year. Outside of Octoberfest, there is plenty of amazing food throughout the year. From special events to just a typical night's menu, this is the place to be if you are looking for authentic German food.

Food is always great. Goulash is fantastic with the tiniest bit of spice. The chicken schnitzel on pretzel toll was delicious (like a chicken tender with a tastier coating). Christkindlemart treats and genuine ornaments made in Germany.

Simple ginger ale and Jameson hurt my stomach

Last night I was there and the food was great. Wings were meaty and crispy. Schnitzel with gravy was great. Red cabbage was delicious. Noodles could have been cooked a bit longer. I know it's not very "German" but it wouldn't hurt to have some green vegetables as a side. No, I am not talking about a salad. I mean something like string beans or asparagus or peas (not canned). Service while sitting in the bar area is pretty slow unless you're sitting AT the bar where you may have a better chance of flagging down someone. If you're not a regular then don't hold your breath.

What an awesome Octoberfest! Having been able to experience the Octoberfest in Munich, I can say this is the best I've been to state side. Had a great time! Food, music and the beer selection...all outstanding. Can't wait to go again!

The Liederkranz is a great time! The food is fantastic, the drinks are delicious and the band was doing an amazing job. This was my second festival and I will definitely be back again!

Oktoberfest here is really great! Great German food and beer with music. It's a bit expensive, but it's only once a year.

This is our 2nd year coming for the Oktoberfest and it's always an enjoyable time. Sit outside, listen to music, lots of great food and drinks. Definitely worth coming for Oktoberfest!

Oktoberfest at the Reading Liederkranz what else do I need to say. The experience is amazing. Jampacked. Crowded. Long lines. Loud. Expensive. But the lines move very quickly. They do a great job of spreading things out. I didnt stand in line for anything longer than 5 minutes. And the types of people that seem to frequent the Liederkranz, are the coolest people. The amount of alcohol consumed at this location without any major incident is proof of that. The food and the beer are well worth the price. The music of course is fun and makes you want to Polka. I WANT TO GO AGAIN.

The place did a nice job for my son's wedding! The food and service was fine.

If you get a chance to go please do. It is a great venue with a huge bar and it also has good food...like burgers,dogs and fries There is a ten buck cover charge for non members though.

Embracing, and taking joy in, shared inebriation, while listening to good music, has always been my most favorite thing about this place I can't spell.

We have a friend who is a member and enjoyed the event we attended. It was a very nice experience of food, beer, music, and people that embrace the German culture.

We went there for Maifest. Everyone was friendly the food was outstanding and the beer selection was impressive. There was a band called Mountain Xpress performing. They were great! I hope to see them again.

Service extremely slow. Server seemed very confused, with only 5 tables. Food...eh. Have not been the best experiences over the past year. Very disappointing. We keep hoping it will get better.

We accidentally stumbled upon this little gem being new to the area and what luck it was. We happened upon a yearly fundraiser for their dance group, enjoyed the wild game buffet (all cooked from scratch), live music and were welcomed with open arms and treated like family. We look forward to so many events in the future as new members and can not speak highly enough of the generous and family atmosphere.

A German social club located on the grounds of the former Eagle Mountain Home. Friendly staff and volunteers. They have a large pavilion, stage and dance floor, as well as picnic grove for outdoor events or rentals. Great German food in the dining room. Anyone can dine here. Non-members just need to register as guests. A unique gem atop Mount Penn that is worth checking out.

The Leidergruntz was very nice. Had a great time. It reminded me of when Dad and the family where there in the summertime. I liked the Coocoo Clocks and Beer Steins. Bought gifts for my brothers and sisters. Nice!

Went for the whiskey pairing event. Very good food and good alcohol there. Everyone was very friendly.

Amazing Oktoberfest!!! Authentic food AND beer. HUGE and comfortable biergarten. Very nice ambience where you can enjoy being either close to the music or far back. Nice vendors with authentic German merchandise. Bring your own mug incase they've sold out.
