Shockingly amazing service every time I visit! Food never disappoints either. Dumplings are to die for! Everything down to the chicken wings is delicious! 10 stars all across the board. But it’s really the customer service that keep my family and I coming back. The sweet lady that prepares the food always takes care of us and comes out of the kitchen to greet us personally. I truly love it.

It was awesome! Got the Dan Dan noodles, braised pork noodles, fried chicken and spicy oil dumplings. Everything was good.

Me and my husband always order from red bowl which is authentic Sichuan China food. I recommend lamb kebab， beef hot bowl， salt and crispy chicken， cold noodle and hot & sour crystal noodle！ The price is fair and portion is reasonable and the servers are friendly.

This is one of our favorite restaurants. The owner is a very sweet lady concerned about her food and service being top notch.

One of my favorite restaurants in Tampa! Wonderful service and very quick to serve! Drink wise I have loved the Thai milk tea and hot tea. Food, the fried dumplings, chicken wings, dumplings with chili oil, and the fried bread! Entree I have done two different types of soup/noodle dishes. Both are delicious and what I love most is if you ask for spicy it is SPICY. Their sweet treats are also wonderful. Not too sweet or heavy! Lastly, super affordable compared to many other restaurants. A must try!

i dont ever leave reviews. BUT. this was so good. budget friendly but extremely high quality food. it was like eating a warm hug. The plaza is kind of a pain in the neck to get into, but totally worth it.

I’ve been wanting to try Red Bowl for a while now, ever since I had Dan Dan noodles in NYC. Red Bowl was fantastic and went beyond my expectations. The noodles were cooked perfectly and the ground pork and peanuts were so flavorful. Also included was baby bok choy and bean sprouts. You get such a generous portion that I have enough for a second meal. I also tried their egg rolls,so good. Fresh, crunchy and full of flavor. I can’t wait to go back and try more!!

The restaurant have a chill vibe to it and delicious fresh meals, the atmosphere is similar to a cafe. The store Owner Ming care about her business and service. Bring your family or group of friends everyone is welcome just be respectful and enjoy the food like I did.💐

This is the absolute best restaurant in Tampa, in fact, some of the best food I've had anywhere in the U.S. The owners greet every customer and put so much love into the food. Everything is exceptionally fresh and flavorful and they even make their own homemade candy fresh each day to give to customers at the end of their meal. The decor is pretty and you just feel very loved and cared for when you eat here. My new favorite place. Outstanding! My vegetarian dish was perfect.

One word, incredible. Frequently visit New York and china town and this is even better. 100% recommend this place and I haven’t felt this way about a restaurant in Tampa since I moved here. Incredible, thank you Red Bowl!

Very tasty! It's one of our go to restaurants. We ordered the dumplings, fried bread, vegetable hot bowl, and chicken Curry. Fresh delicious and very nice staff. Highly recommend.

Came here and loved it. Got the ma po tofu and a mango fruit tea and it was all incredibly good, including the side of soup they give with the entree. Service was very friendly and courteous, and the candy they give you with your bill is a very nice touch that I appreciate. Highly recommend for anyone looking for Szechuan cuisine in the Tampa Bay area. 😊😊😊

The pic is after I mixed it up but OMG THIS WAS AMAAAAZZZINGGG. When they tell you it’s spicy, it is SPICY, so many places don’t actually mean it but here it is a FACT. Would totally eat here again and get something lower than “hell” spicy 👀 or maybe one more time. Staff is also SO SO NICE and sweet. Our water cups were never empty ❤️. Highly recommend 🤭

Looking for Authentic Chinese Cuisine that is not typical and you have the hots for real HOT food, then this is THE place. We ordered dumplings on chilly oil (yummy), braised beef with rice (slightly sweet but tasty), beef hot bowl (2 different mushrooms, Napa cabbage, and winter squash slices, highly recommended). My son ate spicy beef noodle soup and loved it. The staff was friendly and attentive. The restaurant is tastefully decorated and provides private corner. So happy to find such a gem in Tampa. Keep up the good work!!

The food is always great and the customer service is always better - the restaurant is owner-operated. Once you step in the doors it's almost like you're not in the hood anymore, the ambiance is dark and enticing. The owner is very friendly and makes a point to come around and greet every person. There are spice levels for food you can decide and the hot level is definitely hot and delicious. They have truly authentic Chinese/szechuan dishes.

I visited during lunch on a Wednesday. They have a daily lunch special which is $12.99 and includes a soda which on this day was the beef hot bowl, so that is what I ordered. I chose medium spiciness but might go a little hotter next time. The bowl included the beef, incredible broth, mixed vegetables and several types of fungi along with a side of rice. The flavors were really great. I will definitely return!

Owner came out to talk, and had a wonderfully interesting story. My whole party loved the food and enjoyed the authentic cuisine here in the Tampa suburbs. Definitely deserves its high rating.

I recently had the most exceptional dining experience at Red Bowl. From the moment I walked in, the ambiance was inviting with traditional décor and soothing background music. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring that every aspect of our meal was perfect. My friends and I visited Red Bowl for a girl’s night out. We were given warm and hearty welcomes even though the restaurant was closing in fifteen minutes - they were kind enough to make an exception in spite of how big our group was. Red Bowl made every edition requested to accommodate our dietary restrictions and were prompt with their service. We received piping hot and fragrant food within ten minutes of being seated. I ordered the hot Fu Rong soup without the ground pork. The broth was the most complex and flavorful broth I have ever had. The flavor of the Szechuan pepper was bright and pleasant, with a citrusy aftertaste. Portion sizes was bigger than usual, but it was so delicious that I was able to eat all of it. For people with smaller appetites, I would recommend sharing. The vegetables were crisp yet fully cooked, with the mild flavor presenting a nice contrast to the boldness of the soup. This dish features scrambled eggs that were cooked to a fluffy texture that absorbed the soup completely. We also ordered a Thai tea. It tasted rich but wasn’t too sweet and was an amazing compliment to the Fu Rong. This is definitely the best noodle soup dish I have had in Tampa. The most touching factor was undoubtedly the wonderful service. The staff on shift were patient and helpful, and on our way out the chef ran out of the kitchen to say goodbye. Normally I don’t write reviews, but their friendliness encouraged me to support them and their business. Thank you, Red Bowl!

Great experience and great food! The food was quality, seemed authentic, and was so so good! The workers were very kind, welcoming, and hospitable. And the aesthetic and music inside was really nice. We had the braised beef ramen, calamari, cucumber salad, and squid skewers. I would recommend all of them! Very tasty!

The best Chinese place I’ve ever been to. I traveled the world and been in a lot of places but this Chinese restaurant is extraordinary!

I ordered the dumplings in chili oil and, lamb kabobs. I had heard about the dumplings in chili oil and they were AMAZING !! The dumplings were full of meat , they were flavorful and the chili oil was also flavorful and not just spicy. The lamb kabobs were very tender and you could taste the different spices. I DEFINITELY recommend the dumplings in chili oil.

The dumplings in chili oil were delicious. Still managed to have flavor beyond just spicy and were the perfect texture. Ordered medium Dan Dan Noodles but they were a tad too spicy for me (maybe because I just had the dumplings) but still very flavorful. The noodles had a very authentic taste and even the pork tasted good which I am generally not a fan of. The salt crispy chicken was okay, I feel like it should come with some sort of sauce. Service was good as well. My water glass (which I drank a lot of to handle the spice) was refilled many times without me having to ask. The prices are also very reasonable and the food came out at the perfect pace. I'm excited to come back and try more dishes!

I strongly recommend this Chinese restaurant! Their food is pretty authentic compared to other Chinese restaurants in this area and their service is awesome! The server is so humble and she listens to the consumer's suggestions.

I had the most delicious food here yesterday. I ordered takeout, and wasn’t too sure on what I wanted to order but the sweetest lady on the phone gave me a breakdown of the different appetizers they serve, and was incredibly helpful and kind. I ended up ordering the chili oil dumplings and vegetable salad (the one the lady recommended) and wow it was so delicious and tasty. Plus the portions are quite good for the price! I have never tasted flavors like the ones I tried at Red Bowl and I believe I found my new favorite place. Thank you so much for the very tasty food and even kinder service! I will be back for sure😊

Absolutely amazing food and amazing owners, i couldn't recommend this spot more. I called in for take out right before closing ( i hadn't noticed the time ), and they completed my order, no issue. I left them a nice tip as a thank you, and the owner practically forced a box of strawberry mochi into my hands. Just wonderful people. 1000% will be going back and recommending this spot to all my family.

This place is outstanding! Highly recommend the Dan Dan noodles and the Spicy Chicken ramen. Though no matter what you get it will be tasty and filling. The staff are so kind and attentive and have even given us little sweets as thank yous. This place is a staple in our house and we can’t wait to go back again.

Fantastic service and the dumplings were amazing+

We had the seafood hot pot and the spicy chicken ramen and both were fantastic! Oh and the appetizers! The dishes aren’t overwhelmed with spice and heat and have excellent depth of flavor. I wouldn’t know what authentic Szechuan food would taste like but this must be it. The service was great and compliments to the chef :)

Came here for the first time with my family and absolutely loved it. The ramen tasted so homey and comforting - even my 3 year old nephew loved it. Will definitely recommend this place and plan to come back. Our host was also very warm and welcoming. Definitely try it out!

Great fresh food and the people who make it really care

The fella who runs Red Bowl, Ken, is an absolute joy to talk to, and be around. He instinctually knows how hot the food can be for a given patron; it’s really quite amazing! He saved me, on my first visit, and I’ve trusted his judgement since. The food here is so good, they regularly sell out, seriously. I won’t recommend anything; I’ll recommend everything! The calamari rings are the best ever! The vibe, the personable nature of the excellent service, and the quality food, combine to make Red Bowl head and shoulders above the rest! Every dish we’ve tried here, has been delicious!

Best Ramen in Tampa! Owners are extremely friendly and accommodating. As a pescatarian they always help walk me through the menu and order! The food always comes out delicious and is able to be customized to a certain extent. Thank you to the owners for helping to expose us to Chinese culture and food from right here in Tampa!

Fresh food, super friendly owner

Tampa traffic is not great but so worth it to come here and try their food. Their ramen, service, and atmosphere is great for couples and families. I personally think the pork dishes are better than the beef and the dumplings are a MUST.

I love the hot and sour crystal noodle soup, it’s one of my favorite dish to order from here. The owners are also really sweet and kind.

Red bowl is in a quaint space that you never guess housed such delicious food. The customer service is amazing. They are very welcoming and happy to answer questions you may have. You can tell they are passionate about the restaurant. Now the food…. My goodness! I got the dumplings in chili oil and braised beef ramen. Talk about flavor town! My mouth is doing somersault and my tongue is perfectly numb from the spices. This is the perfect place to indulge in great food with a warming environment!

We had such a wonderful time here. Their food was AMAZING have never felt so full and so fresh at the same time. Gentleman was polite and explained thing really well. Cute decorations as well.

The first time I came to this place, I was greeted warmly, the menu was quite interesting and the taste of the food was quite interesting too, the prices were reasonable. The place is not neatly arranged. It's nice to be able to try new foods👍👍👍

Dumplings in chili oil may be the best I’ve ever had.

So, the stars are for excellent customer service...they were super kind and efficient and even wrote a note on our meal and gave us some free candy (which was absolutely delicious 😋!!) Unfortunately, we didn't find the food to be flavorful despite the excellent plating. Got the chili dumplings and Dan Dan noodles. The chili oil was actually tasty, but the dumplings themselves had absolutely no flavor...the skins were thick and doughy and the filling was super bland so the oil couldn't save them. Same with the noodles...oil sauce was spicy and flavorful, but everything else was just bland. We'll definitely give them another try, but with different menu items because these simply weren't to our liking. What I really need to know is where to buy that candy they gave us...it was nougat-like with raisins and pistachios and we pretty much fought over it 😆!!

The food was incredible and the wait staff was the absolute best. A great dining experience all around. Highly recommend.

Braised pork rib ramen Dumplings in chilli oil 10/10

Authentic Sichuan food. This is a great casual spot for lunch or a quick dinner. The chef is from Chongqing. The food is flavorful and delicious. It is truly like your eating in China. The spice level isn’t that high as you’d expect but the flavor is good. Order dishes typical of Sichuan cuisine. They have some that aren’t as good but stick to the specials of that region and you’ll be very happy. Definitely try the Wontons in chili oil, lamb skewer, Dan Dan noodles (more of a Wuhan style hot dry noodle). Definitely recommend giving it a try!

A hidden gem. This was my first visit. I had the dumplings in chili oil (so good!) and the braised short ribs over rice noodles (phenomenal!). The dining area seems cozy and the proprietor was very kind, so I'll definitely be back for dining in. Update: Dined in (June 2023) and had a great experience. The dumplings in chili oil and calamari rings were perfect. The Dan Dan Noodles and braised short rib ramen were phenomenal. The service is great--they are so friendly and accommodating. The prices are great and you will leave satiated. Just great!

AMAZING PLACE. My favorite style of Chinese food- their Szechuan style dumplings are impossible to find in the area. I ended up getting dumplings, Dan Dan noodles. Would definitely recommend everyone to come here at least once!!

Absolutely incredible! We got the dan dan noodles, pork belly and rice, chili wontons, and lamb kebabs and they were all amazing! Highly recommend this place. We will definitely be coming back!

My grandpa and I decided to try this hole in the wall Chinese restaurant and we were flabbergasted at how delicious the food was!! The egg rolls were some of the best we’ve ever had they were juicy and crispy and usually egg rolls are dry in the center but not these! Our meals came out in less than 10 min and he got beef bowl and I got chicken and the food was hot and perfectly spiced!! The noodles were authentic and all the ingredients in the bowl just blended together beautifully. Our waiter was kind and friendly and even the owner greeted us and asked how the food was the after we finished our meal. By far the best Szechuan style restaurant we have been too highly recommend and the candy they offer after your meal was superb!!!!

Good atmosphere, the prices were very reasonable and the portions are large. I had the braised beef rice noodles and the broth was absolutely delicious. Would definitely return again.

Loved this place 😍 It's my first time eating pork, so I was careful at first, but after having these dumplings, I am absolutely enjoying it. Dumplings in chilli oil taste so wonderful. It was wonderful chicken with salt and crunch.(Salt and crispy chicken) Dan Dan noodles is a good choice! The lamb kebab, fried bread, curry chicken rice bowl, cold noodles, chicken wings, and spicy chicken are also favorites of mine. And the restaurant's Owner, who is incredible and I loved how well she looked after each and every one of her customers. Must try place! Note: Most people have trouble finding the restaurant. It is next to the pharmacy.
