Awesome little spot. Chocolate Shop ice cream was a great treat. The coffee drinks were great and the atmosphere was really quaint and beautiful. The stream in back was beautiful.

I thought it was a cute little place. Lots of unique items and decor for the shop. Small plot of land with a small river flowing through going under a enclosed bridge. Not a place you spend a lot of time at and depending when you go it'll get crowded quickly inside and out. If you are to buy something there it's kinda mixed for reasonable and bank account busters. Would I go again? I'd probably go during fall and winter to get some cool photos of the scenery with the shop and water mill wheel, foliage and old-time Americana items. If you aren't a fan of small spaces, close interactions with others or business-ey type tourism then this probably isn't the place for you.

Love this place. The location is perfect. The help are so friendly. My drink was really good.

Friendly, helpful staff. Love the decor and the gift shop. Endless options to purchase for anyone or any occasion. The Chapel is a must see and the wood bridge gives off a rustic charm feel. Checked this off my bucket list today. Not disappointed😉

We love stopping in for ice cream and wandering thr gift shop when we're in town, always an eclectic assortment of the cutest gifts and treasures.

This is a fun little tourist destination that isn't to far off the main drag, there pretty easy to find as you just have to follow the sign for the covered bridge, especially if you're headed towards king's veterans home, but they have lots or random tourist items as well as a ice cream shop and coffee house, all with a great veiw of the church and the covered bridge, of which you can take a walk down to if you want as well

Fun little place, more than meets the eye. Fun little gift shop, cozy little corners to sit and enjoy a sandwich, or sit and watch the river with a friend and hot beverage. Staff on both sides were hospitable.

Keep a VERY close eye on your kids. Dangerous place! Ridiculously high prices & weirdly "off" service are the least of your worries here!

Very cool place. It's worth the stop. Sandwich and soup were very good. But be prepared to pay. Two soups, 1/2 a grilled cheese, 1/2 a grilled cheese with ham, and can of soda $33.00. But it was very good.

I love stopping here. The ice cream/coffee shop and bistro are great! There are some really nice yard art, jewelry, and unique gifts as well. The stand out is the beautiful stretch of the Crystal River and covered bridge to the adorable little chapel. What a beautiful reprieve on a hot summer day!♥️♥️♥️

Classic tourist trap, old converted mill, quaint gift shop, small food shop, and ice cream shop. Haven't seen the chapel but bet it's rustic and cute. The mill is on a little river with a park. Good spot for getting the wiggles out of small children.

A very sweet and delectable time warp. Absolute must visit when going on an up north trip in Northern Wisconsin. Although the shop has limited hours, still worth a check out with fun variety of ice cream and novelty gifts. Then you must stay after getting your ice cream to explore the grounds and the beautiful cover bridge right next door.

Love it, great food and drinks. However, the cost has increased over the years. Red Mill has unique items and perfect for gifts.

Historic building chock full of gifts and souvenirs in a truly special location on the beautiful and scenic River. There are walking trails and much to explore. A must-visit while in the area.

Fantastic little spot! Make sure to get their seasonal drinks and sandwiches and sit by the river! Loved the Italian sandwich (recommended by the staff). She also likes the pizza wrap, got to try it next time!

Great stop for ice cream and roaming the Riverbend, beautiful surroundings with a covered bridge, and adjacent to a crystal river park, we bring tubes and cruise the Riverbend, then run back across and repeat

Generally a busy place in summer but the shop has many treasures, the ice cream parlor has many options (including 2 flavors of Italian ice for the dairy-free crowd) and the food, coffee, and soups are all welcome options for whatever pick-me-up is needed at the time!

A nice little gift shop with plenty of items to browse. Something for everyone. Plenty of candy for the kids. An abundance of ice cream flavors and coffee drinks too.

Lady at the store was nice and funny, they have lots of products to look at, place has outdoor paths to explore, I think it was a nice stop and would highly recommend them.

Great place! Such beautiful grounds and inside the mill as well. We had the best sandwich there for lunch and it has a great gift shop! I definitely recommend to go out there, even if it's a little out of of your way. It's worth it!

This is a favorite stop when going to the cabin! Great history to the building and nestled in a very picturesque surroundings! Gift shop has great gift shop items even if a little on the speedy side. They also have a great place to grab a lite lunch and for sure worth the stop for ice cream!

Cute shop in the most beautiful area.

Everything is ridiculously expensive. A small coffee cup with a dog shaped handle and saying on the cup is $21.99. The mill exterior is beautiful and the stream and chapel behind it are gorgeous. The ice cream shop has tasty ice cream but those prices are high as well. Very touristy.

The Red Mill was inviting. The Chapel was behind the Red Mill which was not visible. Boards were up, unable to walk down to the site.

Love, love this place! The ice cream and Coffee are delicious and walking on the path over the covered bridge and by the chapel is always a delight. We love all the antique decorations inside the shop too. It's neat to see what an old time general store used to look like.

This place is a must see and is a yearly visit for our family, candy, coffee, icecream and plenty of gifts... plus a nice outside area at an old mill takes you back in time. Any time of year is a great time to go, but I recommend a trip around xmas for a special visit.

Minimally acceptable no flavor paninis, small ice cream scoops, the only saving grace is the well manicured grounds: river, pathways, and bridge.

The sandwiches we had were great. Steak and Ale soup was wonderful. Staff was friendly and very welcoming. The shop has so many great items. Seating area to eat outside was a plus. We will definitely return

We went for a group motorcycle ride and this was there destination. Absolutely fell in love with the gift shop. The scenery was take my breath away Beautiful. The creek that runs through there was so peaceful and memorizing. Would definitely make this a destination to see.

Always enjoy stopping in at the Red Mill when we are staying in Waupaca. Love their coffee drinks and ice cream. We enjoy walking thru the gardens and along the river to the covered bridge out back. I usually find a unique gift for someone in the shop next door.

Excellent Trading Post where they sell all kinds of goods that women would enjoy or men or children and I accident Church behind to get married if you want to have a cool little marriage in the summertime check it out it's the best place you'll ever see

I give it a 3 because it closes at four and my mom don't get off of work tell 3:30 so I don't have time to get there.

We used to visit this spot every year when I was a child. It was so nice to visit and see that they are bringing it back to what it once was. I loved the gift shop. We will be returning for coffee and most defintely lunch and some shopping.

Very nice gift shop, pretty view/location. I wish the path was a bit longer so i could have enjoyed the scenery more along the river, but i still really enjoyed visiting the covered bridge and chapel.

The coffee was very good and the staff was very nice but the sandwich was a little overpriced. For $10 the sandwich should include some chips.
