Okay okay, I’m very blunt and tough on pie reviews. Been here years ago, was good, nothing crazy but good. Use to go to a place across the street…. I just moved back to the area after a few years. I can promise you, Rico’s has stepped their game up and the others in the area have dropped the ball beyond recovery. Rico’s hands down is the best spot to go for real pizza, no flop, not oily, got the crispy crust, place is one point kick a** pie. Well done Team Rico’s 👏🏼👏🏼 my new weekly spot for sure.

Always have great food and awesome service if we dine in or delivery. A go to for us! Give Rico’s a try, you won’t be disappointed

Dining room is a little small so we’ve never ate in the restaurant. But everytime we get it to go it never disappoints! Great customer service in person and on the phone. Pizza is always delicious and they have great ranch to dip it in! Only other thing we’ve tried is the cheesy bread and it’s good as well.

First, staff was super nice and restaurant was very clean and food was done under 20 min (also it was 4pm), but they didn’t swap quality for quickness. Pizza perfection!! 18” stretched nice and thin so it’s crispy and chewy at the same time and has a really good flavor that just adds to the depths, delicious red sauce with a great tang of good quality tomatoes, cheese that is real cheese!! I tried to do a one bite review, but trust, it was many many bites before I wrote this. Also, I got the Alfredo for my knots, this stuff isn’t coming from a can. Hard to decide if I like the red or white better both so flavorful,… And best of all, I found it they have green olives, and pineapple, safe to say, see you next time and many more to come.

The whole staff was amazing. Everybody did a great job. The food was fantastic. If you can go there, go there, don't be shy. They're amazing.

So I just moved close by and got their ad so I figured I’d try. At first they forgot my tiramisu but when I called they were very nice and had the driver bring it back out. He was back in just a few mins. I’m really happy because tiramisu is my absolute favorite dessert and theirs was really good. Pizza and cheese sticks were good too. Definitely will be ordering from them often since not many places deliver to me.

My husband was in Hospice and barely eating. He couldn't even eat half of a grilled cheese. His sister asked if he needed anything. Of course it was Rico's meat sauce spaghetti on Angel hair pasta. She said Rico made it himself. He ate 2 plates 2 large plates. Thank you Rico from our family. You made him very happy.

Amazing pepperoni pizza , good dude that owns it , and a great price to accompany. Will be coming here often as possible from now on !

Here from out of town and was a bit concerned that the place was empty but we gave it a try anyway. I have to commend the staff as they were so helpful and kind (this doesn’t happen often these days) I was impressed. They were very attentive and the food was delicious to top it off! I would definitely recommend y’all go in and see them!

We ordered carry out for the first time. Cheese pizza wad just OK. The lasagna sauce was good but no ricotta cheese as advertised so I am not impressed. Will not go back. That is part of lasagna which was missing, At first I thought I might have had pay extra for it. But no that was not the case. It was pasta with meat sauce. 🤔.

I went here to get pizza because I heard it was good pizza but I was sadly mistaken I got a pizza and pasta and the pizza was unevenly cooked half of it seemed like it was cooked at 7/11 and the other half seemed like it was one of those frozen Totinos pizzas you get at Walmart, their sauce on the pasta tasted like it was one of those cans of prego, and sad to say I’m pretty sure the owner Rico was the one who made my food. It’s sad that some of these pizza joints out here can continue to be open with how bad their food is. The owner seemed like he was angry and I didn’t get greeted with a smile that’s for sure

First time ordering here and was very underwhelming. We had the cauliflower pizza which apparently is the same as the gluten free even though they’re listed as two separate items on the menu and def did not taste like cauliflower. It was undercooked and crust was just soggy. Ordered Thai sweet chili wings but when we arrived the guy behind the counter said he had called to tell me they did not have that sauce (no missed calls) so we switched to parm garlic which unfortunately tasted like absolutely nothing. We will not be returning.

Best food! Food is amazing, and always friendly service. This is our weekly favorite place!

I’ve only ever door dashed from these guys, but still they knock it out of the park every time!! On top of that, I’m allergic to dairy and they so easily accommodate that even through an app!!

I had experienced the location in Palmetto, but tonight I had my tires changed and saw that there is a Rico's in the strip mall. I don't know if it was the owner or manager but he was very attentive. He anticipated my need for more sauce and brought it to me without me asking. The whole staff was friendly and provided good service. The price was good and pizza was good. Thank you for a great experience. Happy New Year!

Ordered delivery and it arrived timely and hot! The portions were big and food was very good. The salads were crisp and the house dressing and garlic knots were amazing. Would definitely order from Rico’s again!

A small neighborhood treasure. Wonderful food, with pleasant, fun, and attentive staff, and a cozy welcoming atmosphere. It's a small venue, but feels like a large experience. The menu has authentic Italian dishes. My son, his wife, and I were carbing up for a half Marathon the following morning and the staff gladly helped customize our orders to meet our needs. We had traditional dishes, but a couple at an adjacent table had a pizza that made my mouth water just looking at it. My kids look for small hidden treasures to dine out when they are in town, and Rico's is one of the best they have ever found. I will definitely be returning.

Really attentive staff, very friendly, and a perfect pizza after a round of golf. Mozzarella Caprese was awesome!

We had a large party with 5 kids and they were so welcoming, accommodating, and kind! The food was fantastic and the service was top notch!!

Picked up pizzas from here, they do Gluten free and dairy free pizzas... But they ran out of dairy free cheese and just put on normal cheese.... So my wife couldn't try the pizza. Otherwise all the pizza was good, not the best in the area but not the worst. My area just has extremely tight pizza competition. We will try it again some time and order pizza that my wife can eat and hopefully they get it right.

This place is the absolute best!! Their pizza is THE best, and it's consistent. Rico and his crew love what they do and they really take care of you. It's been our "go to" pizza place for 10 years, and that's not going to change!!!

I wish someone would learn how to make spaghetti and meat balls no sauce on the meat balls very little on the spaghetti and the calamari was not done the breading was very soft it should be a little crispy

Friendly staff, good prices, excellent pizza. Rico’s is my go-to when I have out of town guests that want pizza. Definitely a to-go place (too small and quiet for an in-house lunch/dinner), but Rico’s is arguably the best pizza in Bradenton.

I ordered a meat lovers pizza and when it arrived I was pretty disappointed. It tasted decent but the amount of meat was almost non existent. It had a few slices of pepperoni and VERY small pieces of other meat. It was mostly just a cheese pizza with crumbs of meat.

They always take great care of us. Food is top notch!

Terrible. We have ordered here numerous times, no issues. Pick up or delivery. Tonight my son and I ordered a Medium half cheese half sausage "Light cheese/well done" pizza that came out doughy/extra cheese complete opposite of what we ordered and twice as long as quoted. After a 1 hour and 45min wait when we pre paid and even asked to pre tip...were told 45-1hr max. An hour late...I called to cancel, supposedly they are canceling/refunding our order. The gentleman on the phone said his driver was already gone/just to accept the pizza even though it was refunded. This is what we got an hour later than the quoted time... still tipped the driver %20... horrible quality and horrible communication. When I called to cancel the guy said he had no way to contact his driver....LMAO its 2023....you really can't be serious... I guess a FROZEN JACKS PIZZA IT IS! 💁‍♂️

The food is always amazing! Their service staff is awesome and I would drive across the earth for their crispy chicken wings! My favorite is their calzone 😍 top notch Italian spot!!!! Highly recommend.

We have had nothing but positive interaction. We started for a week and ordered twice. The food was ready and hot when picked up. Reasonable pricing.

My wife and I had this pizza for lunch in St. Armands Cir. and it was probably some of the best pizza I've ever had. Great service and very nice people. Thanks for the great meal.

Love ordering from ricos! The guys there always kill it. From the kitchen to delivery you can't go wrong. We always order ricos for fight nights and big games and even small dinner nights. Just an awesome all around restaurant. Food is just amazing!

The women who picked up the phone was not personable, she was quick to get me off the phone. She kept saying gluten free pizza and I said cauliflower right?? When I got the cauliflower pizza it didn't seem like it was truly cauliflower. I called to confirm because the receipt said gluten free. The same woman who never gave her name said it was cauliflower they just use the same button. We didn't like our $100 pizza dinner and I will never order from there again. I don't believe it was cauliflower either wich messed up my 9 month health and wellness journey. My fault for not just making it myself.

Food quality is inconsistent. On our first visit, the meal was outstanding and worthy of a five-star review. On our latest visit, however, the food quality was poor. The chicken was tough and rubbery. The sausage, overcooked. the sauce, unseasoned, plain. and the pasta undercooked. The staff was completely different during these two visits, which may account for the variations in quality. Due to the experience of the last dining experience, we won't be returning...

Order elsewhere. Took longer than I was told it would take. Was super expensive for what we got. Was forced to tip before I received the food. Got cold pizza and wings with the wrong sauce. The wings were hard, cold, and looked like they were made of plastic. Called them and let them know of the issue thinking maybe they will re-deliver the order or at the minimum give me some of my money back, but the gentleman I spoke with was rude and unwilling to help. All he offered was a replacement of the wings and kept telling me to come pick it up after I informed him I could not drive. I expect more than 10 hard&cold wings and a small 12" pizza that I have to microwave for $40. This was my first experience with this restaurant and my last.

A few of us were in the marina across the bridge. I had recently been told I need to eat "gluten free". Their pizza's were good both regular and the same frozen gluten free crust that most places had started to serve folks that cannot eat gluten a few years back. But....It is ridiculously easy to make a great gluten free crust that tastes great. Just take a little bit of time to investigate, or contact me if you need to short cut.

We got a pepperoni pizza with green peppers, medium wings and bruschetta. Everything was amazing! Pizza was delicious. Wings crispy and spicy. Bruschetta taste fantastic, the bread was fresh and not too soft or hard, tomatoes taste fresh and balsamic was great.

We've finally found a pizza place that boasts NJ style pizza has every right. We went back a second time and will def be going back many more.

Order tiramisu? They were out so they subbed these horrible things they call canolli. I paid $14 for 2....yes 2 canoilli. Canolli cream? Made with cooked thickened flour. Almost like a mock buttercream. Gritty consistency. They didnt even have the decency to tell us!!! The pizza had 2.5 inch crusts. So literally they are no bigger than anywhere else...even if you order the 18 inch. Scant to no sauce. Driest pizza Ive ever tried to eat. Marinara for the garlic knots is a young sauce...you can taste the rawness of the onion in it almost like a salsa. Needless to say this is NOT new our new place. Between the quality and forced thievery. We wont be back.

Met a friend here for lunch. It was awesome. I had lasagna that was delicious. It was fresh and homemade. The service was the best. Fast and friendly. I would highly recommend and will definitely return

Today was the first time I went to ricos and it definitely will not be the last, not only was the service amazing, but the food was amazing as well! Exactly the type of taste I've been looking for since I moved from up north that no other pizzeria in the area could compare would 100% recommend

We had an amazing experience at Rico’s pizzeria. I called to ask if they can seat 30 people. An entire soccer team visiting from Ft Lauderdale. Immediately the owner “Rico”said we can make it work. We got there he had his staff fixing tables, bringing in tables, chairs from outside. One of the waiters “Tristen”, with a huge smile and great personality welcomed us all in. The food was amazing, the service magnificent and the ambiance, basically we had the place for ourselves. Thank you to the staff. Definitely a place you can count on.

So disappointed. Ordered the spinach artichoke dip and we got something that resembles soup, as seen in the photo. With a tiny half loaf of bread. I have been a patron of Rico's in Sarasota, and I will never go to this location again. When I contacted the delivery service they called and the store said sorry about your luck, it always looks runny like that, no refunds. Pizza was mediocre at best. Won't be giving this place my business ever again.

Very friendly service, great Caesar salad and pasta

Based on a recent article in the local newspaper about Rico's pizzeria we decided to give it a try last Sunday night (SR70 & Loraine Rd). I ordered carry out and didn't look at or realize the pizza was wrong until I got home. I called and was abruptly told that they couldn't do anything unless I brought the pizza back and they could physically see the mistake (although I'm sure they got a call from the person who got the pizza I ordered). So I went the 5 miles back and was told they would make a new one but I declined the additional wait and told them I'd just like my money back. I also told them I think a better way to handle the situation might be give the customer the benefit of doubt and say we'll put the correct one in the oven so it's ready when you return... not to mention an apology which was not once offered! I was refunded but realized the next day when the refund processed I received a return of $19.26 when I paid $23.54. REALLY!

Ordered 2 pizzas for take out and tasted so satisfying, that I went back the next day to try the hot meatball sub and hot Buffalo chicken sub which were even better!!! 5 stars & friendly ✔️👍👏👏😎

Visited this place twice. They make the cauliflower gluten free pizza taste amazing! Can barely tell that it's made from cauliflower. (Sauce could use a hint more spice)

Meant to post this last week..My mom and sis flew in from Boston a week ago Saturday..it was early evening when they arrived so we decided to irder pizza and greek salad frim Rico's which we have been ordering from since I moved here last January and have always been oleased with until this night when my Mom found an earbud yes I said earbud in the greek salad effin Gross The earbud was flashing blue and red..uuugh I called to let Rico know and they sent us another greek salad and a piece of xheese cake Yeah they both went in the trash bin So long

Ok everyone, so this little hidden gem is located in the same strip as basil's chicken and ribs,, another 5 star ratings I had recently reviewed lol. Rico's is a great place to dine in take out or have delivered. I was more than happy with the bruschetta I had ordered🤗❤. I mean the amount I was given for the best price in town hands down!! "I'm not worthy, I'm not worthy" lol!! This area of Bradenton Florida has all the best hidden gems for places to eat be yourself and makes you feel at home and welcomed! I can't stress enough to always check out any small locally owned taverns delis and eateries that need your business to keep their traditions of food and crafts and spirits alive. This little family owned business like others in this little strip of great stores and eateries are great to stop and spend time with family and friends!! ☆☆☆☆☆ ♡♡♡♡♡

I absolutely love this place....True Authentic flavors.... Not Over priced.... You will need to request sauce on the pizzas.... If you like it that way as they do not over sauce.... Staff is very nice as well....
