It’s a no for me, dawg. I’ve given this 3 tries and I give up. I realllly wanted to like it here because of the GF options, but they’ve been sold out 2/3 times I’ve gone (still mid morning). The $6 coffee special was SO SWEET I had to throw it out after a few sips. The cherry fritter I got when there were doughnuts had an unpleasant, almost bitter aftertaste. I think they changed their oil to lard to be “healthier,” that’s my best guess where the off taste came from because I’ve never had a donut taste like that. Just keep it simple, no one is buying donuts for health purposes!

Amazing find! They have fresh gluten free options that are very delicious. If they can make doughnuts, cinnamon rolls, and cookies taste so good I can only imagine what the normal ones taste like.

Took a wrong turn so decided to make the most of it and grabbed some donuts. They were both fresh and heavy!! Definitely recommend, good food and friendly staff.

My family and I stopped by passing through. Picked up a half dozen donuts and so glad we did. The apple and lemon fritters were delicious! The apple had chunks in it, the lemon was the first I had ever had, glad we tried it. Others that stood out were the old fashioned and jelly. Customer service was very patient and pleasant to interact with. We had already been on a long drive so our two little ones asked a lot of questions and the ladies behind the counter were very patient and seemed excited to interact.

I love this place!! We will be back for sure! Great coffee. Great donuts.

That was some of the worst coffee I've ever had. Tastes burnt.

As one of the people who worked there, they do not pay you. I had worked 13 hour shifts and yet didn't get a dime. The owners are honestly trash people who only care about getting more and more money. Its sad. The previous owner was an amazong man, but after this couple took over, the place went down hill. I also will not be telling you my name. Last thing I need is you hunting me down. Your behavior is honestly outrageous. I will only say this and how you treated us was unforgivable and tbh the fact yall are looking for staff rn isn't surprising.

Im not typically one to leave a bad review, and the donuts here are tasty but the last several times we’ve been in the staff have been so rude, the worst being today. The bummer is it doesn’t seem to matter who’s at the counter. We’ll be finding somewhere else to fill this craving.

I grew up with Scrupms donuts, these are not the same, very disappointed. Very little flavor, tough and dry. I used to say these were the best. Now, I can't recommend at all. And very overpriced.

Beautiful donuts… sadly… that’s where it ends… texture taste and tenderness absent… apple fritters are huge, but overly doughy and zero apples… Raised cinnamon twist: tough, and chewy with very little cinnamon flavor (any raised variety should melt in your mouth)… Old fashions: dry and crumbly, not tender and moist… Have yet to find a good donut in the SPOKANE area 😫…. $23 for 7 beautiful donuts but was not enticed to take more than one bite of any of the seven.

Do not get the gluten free options if you are allergic/celiac. They should be advertised as gluten friendly, definitely made me sick. Other than that food was good, prices are reasonable and service was decent

Without doubt, the best doughnuts in Spokane! So fresh and delicious, with a great selection. Service is wonderful as well. Erin is the best! Though I live a bit further away and there are doughnut shops closer to my home, I'll gladly make a longer drive for these delectable treats.

Been going here for 9 yrs. Loved the doughnuts. Usually drive thru for me. I walked in to terrible service from lady at till. No greeting, just looked at me. I paid for 3 doughnuts including tip. Only words spoken from her was how i put my card in reader incorrect. No thank you for coming in, etc. Lost my business. In this day and age, service goes a long way. P.S. I was only customer at the counter. March 25, 2024.

Although large sizes, assumed the justification for high price, the fritter I purchased was raw on the inside. I was greatly disappointed with paying a higher price, it was under cooked. This is in response to answer when this happened: It was about 9AM this morning, Saturday 3/9/24. Bought 2 blueberry fritters and both were undercooked.

Honestly, the latte was good and the donuts were good but there is nothing exciting about this place and service was really slow considering it was not at all busy. But be prepared for only three basic donuts; chocolate covered, sugar covered, or glazed. And none of the donuts are labeled, so they all just pretty much look the same with different shapes. I don't know, maybe I'm just not that knowledgeable about donuts but it was kind of a boring looking arrangement. That being said, not too terribly priced, though I agree with the other reviews that tipping should not be a thing here.

Feb 19th, 2024: went through the drive through. Staff were friendly and kind. It was my first time and they were super patient and happy. I'd probably go back when I'm in town again.

Great donuts, but the service is not great. I have stood in line 15 minutes waiting to get donuts being ignored because they can't sell donuts while trying to make all the fancy coffee with only 2 people. Happened too many times

This is an excellent neighborhood coffee house & doughnut shop. Classic coffee drinks and donuts alongside allergy friendly selections as well! The energy is low key, relaxed, and simple. The pastries are excellent and the coffee is good.

Great coffee, excellent doughnuts, and friendly service. If you're a maple bar fan (and who isn't?) definitely give theirs a try. Contender for the best in the area for sure!

An adorable bakery with delicious products! I ordered some vegan maple bars and original glaze and they were amazing! We couldn’t even tell the difference. My nana is recently lactose intolerant and was so sad to not have any goodies for Christmas. These donuts made for the perfect treat! I also ordered their chai…and as a chai fanatic…there’s is the best!

Great donuts a little expensive.

The gluten free options are INCREDIBLE. The chai maybe earl grey (?) cake was to die for. The texture is perfect even 2 days later and traveling cross country with it. The spicy chai latte is not to miss either! So grateful for their gluten free section and if I lived in Spokane, I would be in every day. (I also really appreciate their candor responding to reviews, it’s refreshing!) Thank you for making my trips to Spokane a treat.

Delicious .... We enjoyed the cherry cheesecake donuts very much. The Bavarian cream was astounding.

Y'all have the best donuts hands down. Eat half of the banana cream it's so good. Are about a 1/4 of the apple turnover and it's delicious.

Gluten free that’s actually fresh with more than a single offering. Stopped by after walking my dogs, the shop was busy which is always a good sign early on a Saturday. I expected to see a couple gluten free cinnamon rolls & a donut choice, to my surprise they had a dozen different gluten free options & they were freshly baked! I had this amazing gluten free cake donut with some magical frosting. The crumb was nice & soft. You could pass this donut off as a regular gluten loaded donut. Very good. I will be back.

Great coffee experience! I was greeted outside and again upon entering by a different employee. So many tasty options. I picked the pumpkin harvest latte and a maple bismark filled with buttercream. WARNING!!! It is REALLY GOOD! Both were amazing. The store was very clean. I will definitely be back!

The only really good thing I could say about this place is the donuts are big. The Customer Service was not good at all. The girl assisting me, seem to be in a bad mood and it showed. The donuts were just too sweet and $3 each. Safe to say I will not be back again.

Man, this place has the best doughnuts in all Green Acres/Spokane Valley. Coffee is good too! If you haven't tried them stop in. Especially if you are on I90. Right off the Interstate.

We tried one of the signature pastries: donut meets cinnamon roll with buttercream and peanuts. Very sweet but good. The girl scout cookie latte was not oversweet with generous whipped cream on top per request. Would go back.

We really enjoy these donuts and the friendly service! My favorites are the blueberry fritters, cinnamon rolls w/ buttercream & peanuts on top, and the old fashioned donuts. My husband’s favorite is the Bavarian cream. They also offer good sized pup cups; our dog loves them!

I went at 10:30am and they were almost out of doughnuts. Doughnuts that were left were ok, nothing special.

Just found this gem a couple of months ago. Coffee drinks are a bit spendy but the Mexico Latte is the best I’ve had so far (sorry, Whistle Stop). That being said, they have amazingly creative and tasty coffee drinks. Would be great if they could make their drive thru a little more accessible (big gap between car & window due to width of curbing). Doughnuts are tasty, too (requesting some vegan options!). New sign board looks great!

We got a few gluten free and dairy free treats for Valentines Day and were DELIGHTED! The espresso chocolate scone and the donut were both amazing. We can't wait to go back. They have plenty of seating and are a great spot to stop with your family for a treat!

Haven’t been in a while so I swung by. Donuts tasted different and looks like ownership has changed. I’m a bit turned off at how unprofessional some of the new owners responses have been to a few reviews. The previous owners were so sweet. Sadly, I think it’s time to find a new donut shop.

Line took like 20min for 3 people in front of me, 6 donuts and 2 cinnamon rolls was over $30, And at 8:30 am all donuts were picked thru not much selection, The girl was nice that took my order but that was the only good part of this trip

This place is such a gem in an area you wouldn’t expect it to be. All donuts are fresh and made with quality ingredients and care. Super friendly staff, eager to help. Great coffee, brews em strong. Surprisingly great prices. Even has a drive through and right next to the highway.

My car had a flat in -2 degree weather, and I was thankful for this place where I could enjoy a cup of amazing coffee while waiting to be rescued. The service was spot on, and the donuts looked amazing!! If you are looking for a place that isn't your run of the mill coffe/donut place, come check this place out. You won't be disappointed!

Stopped in at 9:20 Wednesday Morning and they were already out of pretty much all of their donuts. We're told that they were very busy and that was unusual but I have seen other recent reviews that suggest otherwise. Also, the donuts I did get were stuffed in a bag so all of the frosting from one got on to the others. Also, didn't care for texture or flavor. Giving 2 stars only because the Chai was really good. Interesting How you take 2 weeks to respond to my review before telling me exactly what you had left at that particular moment... Again will NOT be going back.

While visiting from Colorado and driving from Spokane to Couer d'Alene, I decided on a whim to swing by Rise Espresso and Dough Co — and I am SO glad I did! My iced caramel latte was one of the best I've ever had, and the old-fashioned maple drizzle donut was delicious. Service was prompt and friendly, too! I went inside to order and sat at one of the tables, but they also offer a drive-thru. Thanks for a great experience!

I have noticed an INCREDIBLE change and taste in the past month with Rises doughnuts. I LOVE the raspberry cream doughnuts and hope they come back. Whoever the baker is in the back is doing a fantastic job!

We decided to splurge and get the maple frosted bars from ScrumDiddlyUmptious today, not realizing this is not the same company. Needless to say my husband and I were hugely disappointed as these are only average - same as Albertsons so no need to drive 45 minutes any longer. Too bad…

Great pastries and even had several Gluten Free options!

The donuts are tasty, but over-priced. Standard offerings like maple bars or chocolate bars are easily a dollar more than they should be. Other donut shops at least justify higher prices with either bigger donuts or non-standard offerings. *Update 9/7 response to owner - We were there on 7/24 with an order of (1) maple bar, (1) apple fritter, (1) chocolate bar, (1) chocolate filled, (2) chocolate cakes.

Your in for a real treat the little homemade cake donuts wow amazing. The coffee wa the best espresso I've ever had and if you like apple fritters wow the size of a plate not greasy. My goodness they are the best doughnuts I've ever had. We placed a order to pick up. You had better get there sell out everything

I went mid-morning and most of their donuts were sold out. A little disappointing for a donut shop. So I was left with little selection. I tried their mini donuts, and was not impressed. They were too dense and heavy for donuts, especially for minis. I personally thought they tasted like pancakes. Would I go back? I wouldn't go out of my way, but of if I was in the neighborhood, and it was early enough in the morning, than sure! I might be open to trying some of their other donuts as long as they are in stock.

Donuts are good coffee is not. The donuts are giant which is great and we decided to snag a coffee while there. It was too bitter for my taste, my husband likes bitter coffee but didn't like his either. Gave it another try thinking maybe it was a fluke, unfortunately I wasn't a fan again. They seemed like they were roasted a bit too long.

Didn't find anything special about these donuts. Came early in the morning so I could try them fresh. Mine didn't seem fresh more like they were laying overnight. Too expensive for 1 donut that pretty much taste exactly like a store bought donut some store donuts taste even better & are like $1.

Unfortunately you now have to pay over $40+ for a dozen doughnuts and required to tip. So be ready to spend $50 dollars for 12 doughnuts. Ridiculous. New owners... your business isn't going to last at this rate. Disappointing.

I was worried not seeing the old sign. Girl we’re polite and the building smelt amazing. Had to new smooth aroma to it. Order a vanilla Late, and shut the front door, it was amazing. Beans were so good. Smoothie, bold, perfect. . The new donuts delicious

Doughnuts are not worth the money ... Not like they used to be ... very little icing and just cutting corners even the box broke cheap.

This lil shop has new owners.. now they are going to have doughnuts longer and they have espresso. Plus they are going to start a breakfast wrap or sandwiches..

Exceptional service! Exceptional coffee! Exceptional donuts! Exceptional owner! Donuts are BIG and very reasonably priced. I haven't had any of their espresso drinks, but if the regular coffee is any indication, the espresso will be awesome as well! Chris & Erin run a great shop with that "neighborhood" feel to it. Check it out! You won't be disappointed!

This shop is amazing sold out by 11-12pm daily. Donuts are unbelievable and taste good to . Coffee excellent all fair priced . This place is a must stop when in the area of Barker Rd. and I90.

Best blueberry fritter I've had!

You guys have to go and try their new coffee! I’ve had a delicious hot americano a couple times and its by far my favorite coffee spot in spokane now. Their new barista Tasha has made some great recommendations on drinks and we have loved every one of them. We of course also love their donuts, our go to is the fritters and maple bars. The place has been redone and looks sooo much better than the first time we went there. Erin and Chris the new owners are doing a fantastic job! Highly recommend 👏🏼

My absolute favorite maple bar donut in spokane area is here!! It has a texture that I can't get enough of!! Secondly amazing coffee and teas. I haf a Chai iced that was absolutely lovely. Great local family doing great local things!

My husband’s favorite donut place. I finally tried them this morning and they didn’t disappoint! Everyone was so friendly and really got my morning off to a great start. The owner even gave me tips on how to send the donuts to my husband overseas! Huge portions too.

Donuts are very good, But at $21 to $27 a dozen that's a little crazy.
