I heard their food was good but I didn't expect it to be this good. The Cheese burger and fries were delicious. Fresh toppings awesome service.

I like it here. If the bar on Cheers were a real place, this would be it. They have packaged goods. Harry has suggests the best menu specials. The beers on tap rotate regularly and they get served up in an icy cold pint glass. All the patrons are friendly and have great conversation. It's a great local watering hole. You should stop by.

This is always, always my go to place for a great craft draft. In the midst of the Heineken and Sam Adams they have never disappointed to have a hidden gem of a beer available. Every few weeks they cycle through a different great beer. The service is super friendly and welcoming, and a chill dive atmosphere with the rest of the patrons is tye vibe here. Def get the tots!!!! Touchtunes available as well. Love having this place as my local dive.

The bartenders are extremely friendly, no matter what night I have been there. Speedy service. Brand new stools and tables. Food is great but LOVE the wings here, fat boy sauce is one you should try! Great atmosphere. Currently have special pricing on drinks and food for football season so definitely a plus!

This tavern has great food. But the place presentation was horrible, the place had a weird odor, and the chairs and table were old and wiggles. There's one waiter who does everything. The food is great but the place needs renovation.-

First time here came here to watch football and their wings are hot and fresh! Must try the Buffalo sauce and Fat cat sauce! Got them on the side and I must say wings are pretty awesome here. Our waitress Vikki was super chill and gave us some RU souvenirs to bring home with. Will definitely come back for another football night!

This place. You must come through. I had friends visit me for Thanksgiving, and we decided to watch the NFL game. Little did we know, we came too late and the kitchen was closed. REGARDLESS, they said we can still order and get some food as a one-time deal. I decided to get some wings and let me tell you... these wings are the best wings I have ever had in a while. I was completely blown away, and all of my friends who didn't want wings to begin with decided to jump on them, and I wish I had ordered more! I'm definitely coming back as soon as possible. Vikki was our lovely host and she gave all of us so many gifts! She deserves a raise! To top all of this greatness, they played Linkin Park. Hands down the greatest place on earth!

I must be missing something, walked in, got the evil eye from the 4 guys drinking at the bar, no one behind the bar, was not what you would call, a welcoming environment so we left. Everyone raves about this place, in fairness, looks like they are doing some work there, perhaps we hit it on an off night.

You don’t need to go to Philadelphia for a cheese steak no more. Holy hell, this place is serving up one of the best cheesesteaks I’ve ever had in New Jersey. Yes, I’ve been to Philly before and yes, I would put this sandwich up to the best there. Perfect balance of meat, cheese, peppers and onion on wonderful soft bread. The guy in the kitchen is a wizard. I also got the onion rings and it paired well with my 2022 cheesesteak (You see what I did there?). If you haven’t been here before , stop in and try the sandwich. I know for a fact, you won’t be disappointed. Don’t let first impressions fool you. This is a hidden gem for sure. Staff was friendly and they have a Customer for life!

One of the best small under rated taverns in the area. The draft beer is always cold. Food always hot and delicious. Prices are super great. And service is absolutely amazing. One of my faves is the chicken cheesesteak, best value.

The food is perfection! Harry takes care of his customers with charm and respect. One of the few bars following the covid-19 guidelines to the letter. I would eat every meal there every day!

Hidden gem. The staff was great and very accommodating, the area was very chill and relaxing. The wings were incredible! A solid spot for sure.

River Road Tavern is a great local pub and eatery. The inside and outside seating is awesome. The staff including the manager made sure we were well taken care of, happy and satisfied. We met the owner and had a great chat. All my friends were very impressed by the service and I really appreciated that. Will return soon!

Stopped in there for a quick bite because I love bar food. Ordered the chicken wings with the fat boy sauce and it was excellent! Great local hangout for sports fans. Lots of locals having a great time, having a couple of drinks while watching the game. Everyone was very friendly!

Don't let this place's exterior fool you, this place has something for everyone. The prices are fair and the beer selection caters to both beer aficionados and standard us domestics. The food is also worth checking out. This bar is also clearly a local watering hole but by no means locals only.

A whole in the wall with great hand made burgers , crispy bacon and cold beer.(try the bacon mushroom burger) The bar tender was excellent, the kitchen was closed and he opened it back up to feed 5 hungry people, also the bar tender got tied up and our cups went dry for a little while and he came by with every drink everyone was drinking on the house.

Very affordable. Noisy music, but a good-natured crowd on Thursday night. Bartender was busy but very kind. Didn't order from the menu, but the meals that were around looked passable. A quintessential local bar, which the hipsters haven't overtaken. Yet.

So cool, I haven't been here since the mid-80's when the darn truck slammed right into the front of the place taking out some tables with it. The friendly, fun atmosphere has NOT changed Loved having lunch there/ here for many years. Now, 30+ years later, so comforting and enjoyable.
