1/1/23. We love this little place. We've tried everything on the menu, and have never been disappointed. Now, if you're looking for, high class, or you're uppity, just stay away. But if you want good, home cooked meals, with a great view, then go. Get the FRIPS, they are a must. 6/1/23- This is still a great place. I had the chicken BLT, it was great. 8/4/23. You have to try the pork chop. And also the pies.

A great local cafe if you need lunch or supper after a day on the river or in the rural area. I enjoyed a chicken tender BLT and chips, and a drink to go on my way passing through. They've got indoor and outdoor dining area, and a river view on the distance as the name implies. Friendly and fast service!

Stopped in for the first time as part of my motorcycle ride today. Good food, friendly staff, great service. Pretty crowded as there are only a few tables squeezed in there but I'll for sure be back.

I'm a regular here seeing as how I live nearby, but I would drive in from across the state for their cooking! Fantastic food, awesome staff, affordable prices which is a big deal with inflation right now. 10/10 recommend Riverview Cafe!

Hankering for comfort food? Look no farther. This is downright feel good deliciousness! First, though, let’s talk about the fried pickles. Sweet heavens! I’ve never had better. Served with the house homemade ranch…so good! I had the chili, again homemade and top notch. My husband had the chicken fried chicken and my son a turkey sandwich smothered under mashed potatoes and gravy. This place is out of the way but we’ll worth the drive.

Great Food great people Great family ran restaurant great changes have been added since i was little and you can get the best catfish from there and all you can eat catfish and you can choose your size of burger it goes all the way up to quad if i remember.

One of our favorite places to eat in the Ozarks.

Was pleasantly surprised, living in the area and finding a place that's not afraid to use spices vs the bland taste of most family restaurants it was a nice change.

Oh this place is truly a hidden gem. I swear this is legit home cooked food. I got the catfish sandwich and it was some of the best catfish I have ever had. The service is amazing and the price is a steal. I recommend this place to anyone. I will definitely being back there.

This is the best home-cooking in the area! Nice county drive, and an outside eating area with great scenery. Don’t forget to try their home-made cream cheese cobbler with REAL whipped cream - our favorite!

This is a great little place, fabulous home cooked food. We've eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner there, it's been a wonderful experience everytime. Very much recommend River Smokin!

An ABSOLUTE MUST!!! Great burger & fries, my wife had the catfish...oh my goodness!!! It came with homemade coleslaw (the best, fresh bread with butter, homemade Frips, yes I said "FRIPS", and a garden salad. Food was Deliciously Amaze-A-Zing as was the service! Definitely going back...many times!

Food very good! Cook was rude but a side from 1 visit all was wonderful! Recommend Breaded Mushrooms to share! Large portion! Come with an appetite! Homemade hard candy excellent! You will want more so buy a pack to go!

Now this is a perfect "hole in the wall" place. The catfish is amazing, the Frips are wonderful, and the peach/blueberry cobbler, is to die for. A definite YES on this little eatery.

I have always lived close to this place but never went in till this year. I fell in love with it. Food is amazing, service was good and the place has an incredible homey feeling. Just love it.

Great prices 4 home style food. We had pulled pork sandwiches, burgers and smoked chicken breasts. The food was tasty, and sides fresh, even the lettuce was homegrown. The service was friendly.

Cheap prices and good food. Ribs are not good. Smoked chicken and pulled pork are pretty good. Paid 7 for pulled pork, fries, beans, and soup. Plenty better than many places in Springfield
