Best place ever. The bread is amazing. Food is awesome and the service is top notch.

We ate at Robertas for the first time, Saturday, 8/17/24. Got there by a recommendation from friends about 6:30. There were only a few patrons in the restaurant, and we got a little scared. However, when the co-owner of the place ( Roberta) came over and told us it was her place and her husband was the chef, we felt reassured. I had the boned Branzino and my wife had the lasagna. The portions were very adequate and the bread service was absolutely delicious. And, it was BYOB, so we has more $$$ to spend on the food. We can't say enough about this quaint little old style Italian restaurant. The atmosphere was perfect, the food delicious, and Roberta was a charming and gracious host. By the time we left, every chair was taken. We only wish we had more time to spend in Laudetfake to go here again. We are trying to convince Riberta to move to Charleston, S.C., and ooen a place there.

I would say close to the best grilled chicken, Caesar salad, I’ve had in a long time the service was spot on, and their homemade delicious bread. They serve with it, made it a treat.

We love this local and fabulous restaurant….. we also love Roberta. Food is great, homemade, and experience is simple, wonderful! Glad we have Roberta’s in the neighborhood!

The eggplant with tomato’s sauce is was the best ever I ate in the US. Very traditional homemade style Italian. Delicious

Now here's a little hidden Gem of a restaurant we went with a couple from hour condo complex never knew it existed .As a total surprise and bonus the people who own it do all the work traditionally both from Italia the food is exquisite service the wife serves you and the husband cooks for you yup believe it a real traditional Italian restaurant come to Lauderdale by the sea behind a1a you will get real Italian food traditionally made to order you wont be disappointed..

What a super Italian restaurant. It felt like we were in Italy. Wonderful service, so friendly. The food was just amazing, the tiramisu was the best we have had anywhere. BYOB!

Our new favorite place to eat!. Roberta is so friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere is relaxed and the food is amazing. Everything we have tried was delicious. The portions were generous. The bread was freshly baked and I felt like I was in Italy. Can’t wait to go back for our next meal. We accidentally forgot a bag on our last visit and Roberta made sure it got back to us safely!! Thank you!!

I've driven past this place so many times, thinking it would just be your typical, mediocre Italian restaurant that tend to pop up near touristy areas...boy, was I wrong. The dishes are unapologetically authentic (and of course, delicious!). Roberta (the restaurant's namesake, our server, and chef!) has the warmest, sweetest, homiest personality - and you can taste that in her food, too. Sad that I've discovered this place so late - but happy to have discovered it at all!

Really a hidden gem. We were hungry after a day at the beach and searched the web. We ended at this delicious place were the food is SO GOOD and so fresh. We were so happy to find it. Flavors were amazing, real italian flavors. No sauces from jars or frozen... Everything fresh and delicious. We will definitely go back.

By far, the BEST Italian food in the Ft. Lauderdale area (Galt mile). One has the feeling you are in an authentic Italian trattoria in a North American city, because YOU ARE. The food is simply exquisite. The pasta dishes are home made and fresh. The Pesto gnocchi were out of this world!! The service is amazing, friendly and prompt. It is not a huge place, but oh so quaint! Did I mention how great the food is? This is also a BYOW place!! We plan to return every time we are back in Ft. Lauderdale.

This is truly a small Italian restaurant to treasure. Roberta is the charming Italian woman who is your server. There are about 10 tables inside and about 5 outside. I live much of the year in my villa in Tuscany, so I know good Italian food. One of the nicest things about Roberta's is that they don't offer wines, but allow you to bring your own without a corkage fee. Ironically, they own the Italian market next door which sells wine and will open it for you if you come unprepared. I've been twice. the first time we had lasagna and chicken parmigiana. I always like to try traditional dishes to calibrate the establishment, and she passed with flying colors. Both dishes were about $20. Our second visit we had ossobuco and a shrimp linguine. Both were specials of the night and were $40 and $30 respectively. Though they were both more expensive than any regular menu item, they were well worth it. I have not yet tried her pizza because it is only offered at lunch. This is the opposite of Tuscany where it is impossible to get (real) pizza at lunch.

The service is in charge of its owner, Roberta and her husband, the chef. The desserts are excellent, the coffee is hot, delicious!!! And you can bring the wine. Best chicken Parmesan by the beach. Portions are a bit small, but Italian authentic food. The waitress is so lovely and welcoming.

Small and out of the way but worth the visit. Excellent menu and excellent service. One of the few places that allows you to bring your own wine or beverage of choice at no extra charge.

Wow what a treat! Great service, food and overall experience. I highly recommend this hidden gem for authentic Italian cuisine. Prices are more than reasonable and you can easily pay double for half the quality and subpar service at most other restaurants.

Always the best service and the tastiest food. Get the burrata to put on the fresh-from-the-oven bread - you won’t regret it. Great options for vegetarians. When we’re in town we’ll often visit two nights in a row - it’s that good. Also BYOB. Extremely reasonable prices for the portions.

This is a very small restaurant. The husband is cooking and his wife is serving. The food was fantastic. From the fresh warm Italian bread to the Ossobuco we both had as a special. The meat was so tender and the pasta fresh and also very tender and flavorful.. The sauce was very light and not over powering .

It was a pretty decent dining experience. Was really hoping that the Ossobuco would be a little bit more flavorful than it was but still a 4/5 for the taste. The service was really good would definitely go back just because of that alone. Don't forget they actually have BYOB which is amazing in its own right.

Food is good and makes the perfect place to skip making dinner and go out for good wholesome pasta and fish. - Highly recommended

Love Love Love this restaurant ! 🍕🥣🥩🍜 It's like coming to a friend's dining. Roberta always makes you welcome if you need some special request she always makes it happen. They serve an amazing freshly baked bread that you don't want to stop eating 😉 They opened in March of 2020 right when we had started with covid. We come here almost every week. You can bring your own bottle of wine and she doesn't charge a courting fee. Come and visit you will be very happy😘

Homey vibe to the place Classic home style mommas/grandmas checkered table cloth spot. Delicious warm house bread is served with Olive oil and balsamic vinegar on the table to accompany it. I had the chicken Parmesan and it was amazing, lots of flavours and a classic dish. Along with a burrata salad to start which was good too but nothing crazy. My boyfriend had the bolognese spaghetti and enjoyed it so I think it’s safe to say Roberta’s is the spot for a great local Italian dinner Overall can’t wait to go back

We accidentally found Roberta’s our first night and tho it’s a short trip, we will go back! Nice portions (having the leftovers for lunch today) and Roberta was a sweetheart! Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful!
