We stopped here on the way home from Hersheypark. The food was amazing and the service was great. They couldn’t do enough for us. We’ve eaten at a lot of Indian restaurants in the past, but this one is by far the best. My wife and my mother-in-law are very hard to please when it comes to food but here, neither one of them had any complaints whatsoever and trust me that never ever happens at restaurants. Not only that, but the price was really good. Great quality, food, great prices, good company, very lively atmosphere, everybody was so happy. It was later in the day on a Sunday. We got the buffet because we were all so hungry and didn’t wanna wait. I was hesitant because above a late day buffer is usually not that good. I am very happy to announce that I was completely wrong. It was great. I highly recommend it.

I just had the most incredible meal! I was sort of hungry tonight and I was looking for a Chinese buffet, but when I called they were a bit pricey. I found an Indian buffet, and I prefer Indian food to Chinese food anyway, that was a few dollars cheaper. Good thing I did, because this food was incredible and the buffet is worth every penny. There must have been 10 different entrees plus salad and fruits. I wish I could give them more than five stars!

We stopped at the Royal Chef for a late lunch; they have a lunch buffet which had a lot of choices but we ordered from the menu. My husband had chicken masala and I had lamb saag, our meals came with samosas, and we also ordered onion bhaji and garlic naan. Everything was VERY good with enough left over to take home and the staff was very friendly! We’ll be back when we’re in the area again.

Delicious food and great service

Unfortunately very disappointing. Nothing had any taste to it, hardly any spice level. Very strange coloring especially the Chicken Tikka Masala, so red. We would not recommend this to any body.

very disappointed I ate twice before and it was decent food. Today I was very dissatisfied the food has so much dye coloring the Nan was so elastic to chew I could not even eat it at all.

First time here and really enjoyed it! The food was delicious and comforting. Butter chicken, biryani, tandoori chicken, paneer, samosa - all were excellent. I also had pappadum for the first time, and it was crispy and pleasant. The staff are friendly. It's modest, well-lit, quiet, and pretty clean inside. Definitely will be coming back.

Visited Buffet on a Tuesday Evening Based on my experience, I honestly don't understand how anyone could give this place 5 stars. Even 3 would be a stretch. It was unsanitary and run-down. Pros: *the butter chicken was tasty *our baby loved the peas *the wait staff was kind and polite *you can order specific menu items on request Cons: *no drinks offered (we were only given water) *Limited food selection at the buffet *food looked like it had been sitting out for hours *unsanitary food practices... (I went to get some basmati rice and it had clearly been sitting out a long time. When I bit into the rice it was so old it was crunchy. I told the waiter about it and requested fresh rice. He came out with a bowl of fresh rice and, to my horror, poured it right onto the old rice in the tray that had been sitting out all day. I watched several times through our meal when the waiter did exactly the same thing with 4 other dishes he came out to replenish... poured the new stuff right into the old stuff in the same tray. ) *Only 1 dessert option, which also looked like it had sat out all day. *Most food was either very bland or too spicy without being flavorful. *had an allergy in our group and we couldn't get a list of ingredients for any dishes

Staff was very friendly and the food was solid for a buffet style restaurant. No complaints here whatsoever.

This is one of those little gems you look for in the odd little strip mall. We had the buffet. We arrived at 5:00, and it seemed like the buffet had been out for a little while, but no! It was all delicious!! Absolutely delicious! From what I know about Indian food, it is also what you would get going to the subcontinent. The dal was made from kidney beans, which is unexpected, but it, too, was delicious! They bring you freshly made hot naan, and you dig right in without a wait. I just loved the palak paneer, the chicken curry, the butter chicken and the naan. The goat was tasty, but a little too spicy for my taste, which is to like very little heat. Come! This is a really fun, little restaurant!!!

Amazing restaurant in Harrisburg. We stopped by this place on the way from the Poconos to Pittsburgh to get some Indian food and were blown away. They have the best momos (dumplings) I have tasted in the US. The tandoori chicken, goat curry and daal tadka were also great and reminded me of home. The service was also very good. Highly recommend this place for Indian/Nepali/Bhutanese food.

Love this place! Drove 50 minutes just to be here! Food is always amazing and the owners are delightful. I do wish the curries had a thicker consistency but it is still flavorful. I notice that most of the items are not made with too much spice to accommodate for everyone however you can ask for this spicy chili they have that will enhance the heat or any dish they serve! The service is on time, friendly, prompt, continuously asking if everything is okay, making sure the guests are happy? and always there if you need anything! It does not get too busy from what I see which I love. If you are in the Harrisburg area I would definitely give them a try! Also, it is inexpensive, less than $15 dollars per person for the buffet items but they also have a menu you can order from if you like. In my opinion this place is definitely worth every penny. I’ll be back again for sure.

had Nepali chow mein...lots of flavor and tasted fresh..had take out enough feed 2-3 people...i ended up finishing it all because it was so good :) will be back try other dishes or buffet

Enjoy going to this restaurant very much. It's usually quiet, which is nice. No television, No music. So you can talk with the people you're with. Although there is a buffet, the service is always friendly and homey. The food is good. And while they do not have a bar, you can BYOB. In addition to the buffet, they have an extensive menu from which you can order. The buffet and the menu feature both vegetarian and meat dishes. This is a nice, family-run restaurant. Highly recommended!

Auntie cooks the best palak paneer I've eaten in the country. It felt like home and mom's cooking. Cannot recommend enough. Def check out and support a true family business run by mom and son. (EVERYTHING IS GOOD! TRY ALL 14 DISHES)!

Came for lunch buffet on a Saturday. Everything was delicious. Lots of food choices. All the dishes were very good, fish curry and the chicken masala were top notch. Naan was also good. Very affordable at 14$. I would definitely recommend coming here and trying all their dishes.

*****I Didn't Have Food Here***** I went there on a weekend, around 1 PM, with an intention to have a buffet (after seeing high ratings). Was disappointed as soon as I entered, the restaurant was empty. I asked the hostess if I can see what's in buffet, and was given the permission to do so (she seemed kind and polite). The items didn't seem appealing (appetizer section bowls were literally empty). I asked, what's in veg and non veg appetizer, to which I didn't get any response. I left the place without having any food.

The food was delicious. And the owner and her son were so nice to me. I brought my 2 yr old because I was craving Indian and he was giving me a hard time the owner allowed me to bring my food home. Dumplings were delicious. I have been this place couple of times and food was always hot and fresh, so the quality was consistent. Taste is great too. Also there’s drink, fruit and dessert options too in the buffet. The place is well lit and tables are looking clean, also there’s no music or anything so you can enjoy your meal in a quiet environment. I would suggest this place if you want to eat something that feels like homemade food.

The food is excellent, the butter chicken is delicious, and the tandoori chicken is spot on. The prices are very encouraging. We were offered delightful chicken dumplings that were not on the buffet and they were the best dumplings we ever had.

Don’t go there on weekdays, they serve all the old & bad foods for buffet & orders also , they served us food from atleast 3-4 days ago , it was hard & also smelling bad . We told them that the food was bad but they were laughing,It was one of my favorite restaurant but this is the 2nd time we had a bad experience like this , will never go back.

I love love love visiting this buffet style restaurant. You have more options than you can fit on your plate. The staff is always friendly and engaging! The atmosphere is like being fed by family with to go and sit down options you can’t go wrong!

The Chicken Tikka Masala was off the charts DELICIOUS! They just recently opened and did a great job on the Food and Service! In addition the staff gave us an Amazing Mango Drink! Don't miss an opportunity to visit them...😊😊😉😉

Food and service were outstanding, especially for a budget-friendly buffet. Good selection of both vegetarian and meat dishes, hot and fresh in very clean steamers. Spicing is aromatic but mild (probably catering to Central PA tastes) and can be easily spiced hotter with yummy house-made condiments. Server (possibly chef/owner?) was very attentive and she eagerly explained how certain dishes were prepared. Minor improvements can be made to the atmosphere—perhaps some soft ambient music in the dining room and a fresh coat of paint and simple decorations in the restrooms.

Fantastic Indian buffet, FULL of delicious food including butter chicken, curry chicken and curry goat. We drove an hour and would definitely do so again (and soon). Very friendly service in a convenient location. $14 lunch buffet was a tremendous value that I highly recommend. Plus, free naan! Seriously, if you love authentic Indian food you need to check this buffet out.

Went for all you can eat buffet which is $14 a person. The Chicken Curry and Butter Chicken were both 10/10. But overall everything was really delicious and fresh. Our server was also very kind and when anything was out she immediately replaced it . I'd say the only thing is there was no music or TVs playing so it was very quiet while dining . I highly recommend checking this place out!

Everything was absolutely amazing. I took my wife a few days ago, went as soon as they opened at 11am and everything was cooked fresh. The service was prompt and the food was great, I would highly recommend.

Absolutely loved their food. The owner lady was very welcoming. Loved talking to her. Their biryani is highly recommended. If you are looking for indian moist spicey biryani, this is not your place. this biryani is a bit different ,light on spice. I personally felt it was delicious. Gulab jamun was good. We will stop by again if passing through.

This may be in a strip mall, but you will feel like you are with family from the moment you walk in. Warm greetings and the wonderful aroma of the food surround you on entering, and the buffet (divided between vegetarian and not) delivers some of the best Indian cuisine on the east coast.

The food was savory and delicious, I had the chicken biryani and butter chicken, if you’re in the area I recommend this place you won’t regret it.

I have ordered to go from here and just sat down for the buffet. The food is so good! I love the street food options you can order as well. Everything is seasoned well and everything was kept stocked. It can get really busy in here so I'm happy we came early. I drove 55 minutes just to eat here so trust me it's good.

First visit had buffet for 14 dollars non veg looked good, for vegetarian s don’t recommend. As samosa and take out order of onion bhajji was not good, other veg dishes ok, rice quality not good, place is clean, service is good, ambiance good.

Food is delicious and very fresh as you would in a dine in setting. Ask for naan an veg pakora they’ll make it fresh and quick included in the price!!! Serves lunch and dinner!!
