We are so excited to now have a local coffee shop in the area!! The coffee was great. And the strawberry lemonade And other flavors are absolutely delicious. Enjoy the new tea options too. The homemade paninis and salads are to die for! Cannot wait to check out the pastas and pizzas as well. Love all the activity options they now have on evenings as well. I really like the monthly feature options.

In-between cleans and was looking to refuel. I'm a light breakfast eater so I was looking for acai bowls or smoothies. Which I typed acai bowl in search and right down the road from where I was leaving was this! it's a wonderful cafe with drinks and food! Their monthly special was even Acai Bowl Smoothie! PERFECT! I also got a Caramel Macchiato with almond milk. Comfy seating and infused water is offered. They have table games and have music on Sundays!

Wonderful Coffee shop with good food and entertainment. They also provide lots of cool, fun things to do. Check them out, you'll be glad you did.

Ricotta strawberry toast was delicious! Love that there is plenty of seating and it's spread out enough that you can actually have a conversation.

I loke this place. They occasionally have this morning dish with berries and toast. My goodness it's amazing. The coffee is really good. The price is average. The people are friendly. They misunderstood order and when i said so after they made the drink they immediately made me the one i ordered. ZERO COMPLAINTS. ZERO HASSLE. they have customer service nailed!

I've been meaning to try this coffee shop and cafe (about 10 minutes from my house) for a long while, and I finally got the chance on Memorial Day. The place was humming throughout my visit with my family, but the staff kept the line moving, and we're quite friendly and accommodating. I got the Ruckus Waffle sandwich, which had a lot of pleasant flavors, and the cherry chutney I was a bit unsure of did a lot to tie the savory and sweet tastes together. My wife got the Avocado Toast and was impressed with its quality. My daughter got a Belgian Waffle and a side of eggs while my son got the kids breakfast sandwich (which he deconstructed😅), and both enjoyed their meals. I got their special Hot Honey Iced Americano, which was unique and tasty, though I would opt for a touch less ice next time. I also got a to go version of their Ruckus hot latte (maple syrup and cherry and cinnamon sugar and salt topper) to share with my wife, and we both found it to be very good. Overall, this was a great experience, especially in an area that lacks a lot of culinary innovation, and the way the business runs (including many events and theme activities) should keep them very successful. It's definitely worth a stop if you're in the area.

Get the signature late, the salt makes it delicious. I had it with a chocolate scone and the combo was great.

I ordered food for delivery. All of it should have been hot it was stone cold. Everything inside of the sandwiches was RAW. It was disgusting. It’s like they found an iron and touched the bread lightly with it for a second before than sending it to me. The cheese wasn’t even fully melted.

Ruckus Cafe is my official Starbucks replacement. They’re fantastic!! Superior coffee, made to order food, friendly intelligent staff, everyone smiles.. my only complaint (which doesn’t really count) is they close on weekdays at 3. I’m a noon o’clock riser.. and shout out to the kindest barista who made time for me and gave me a hug (my dog is 20 and dying and I was having a day)

Their signature latte surprised the hell out of me. Got a small, because I thought of would be more of a novelty, but immediately wished I had got a large once it got to me. Also got a breakfast sandwich and a cold brew with fold foam, both were fantastic. The lady behind the counter was incredibly friendly and the service was quick

Definitely a favorite spot, I'm not from the area but I always make sure I stop in when I am!

Attended a board gaming Meet-up in the back room. It was a great space. Food was amazing, although a bit on the pricey side. Staff was polite & knowledgeable.

Very solid spot for a snack or some coffee and a treat. Solid prices and a nice atmosphere. They have most of the classic coffee shop creations. I tried their hot cocoa, brownie, and chocolate chip cookie. Their desserts seem to be made in house. The brownie varieties vary from day to day, and this time, it was just a chocolate frosted one with sprinkles. The brownie had tons of pieces of chocolate in it, and the frosting was tasty as well. A tad dry, but still good. The chocolate chip cookie was only $1! What an amazing price and deal. It was very tasty as well, also having big chunks of chocolate in it. I’d definitely recommend. The hot cocoa was quite milky and honestly didn’t have much flavor. I was hoping for a chocolatey flavor, but it wasn’t there. Still, solid, and I’m sure the coffee is probably their specialty and likely better. All in all, I definitely enjoyed this place. Reasonable prices, solid portions, and a nice assortment of in house desserts. I’d return!

Fun St Patrick's Day party !! Great bands and food.

1st.I wanted to just order waffles non-vegan apparently you can't do that here I don't mind people being vegan but don't force it down my throat give customers an option. 2. your coffee Stirrers don't stir the sugar in the bottom of the coffee because they're too short, and when you try to stir large coffee you burn your fingers.. 3. Serve Sweet and low for diabetic people. Stevia interferes with metformin medicine which most diabetic people take. 4 . Have some different flavors that you can put in your coffee like those little cups that you can pour creamer. And also have a sign outside saying if you have an event that you don't serve anything to eat or coffee like I was told. I can honestly say that your breakfast sandwiches are wonderful as long as I get my season potatoes when I order your product.

High Tea is lovely. The staff are delightful and the food delicious. Can't wait for a return visit.

Mike at the Ruckus Coffee Gallery & Café was engaging and friendly, giving us out-of-towners great recs and pertinent suggestions, (we're traveling poets,) and the coffee, programming, and atmosphere at this place is exactly what I want out of my impulse stops. Would definitely recommend!

My husband and I love Ruckus! The food, the drinks, the atmosphere, the staff...always on point! The waffle breakfast sandwich is something to write home about for sure. Can't wait to come back!

Had a great sandwich. Big portion (not skimping the meat), nice buttery toasted sourdough bread. With a Cafe au lait.. I was a happy camper.

What a fantastic little gem! Food was real and fresh, coffee was quite tasty, and they seem to have a philosophy of community to enrich their area (allowing people to use space, etc). One note is that some of the pricing doesn't make sense. Getting a full breakfast is just $2 more than getting just avacado toast. A small coffee is $1.50 (best coffee deal in Pittsburgh!! ), a large is like $3.50.

Ruckus is one of the few places you eat anymore where the food is homemade and tastes homemade. What you get is definitely food made by a REAL PERSON and not out of a bag or freezer. Their lunch paninis are addictive. Nice breakfast sandwiches with REAL HAM. House made pickles! The coffee is a good price. Staff is very kind. I’ve never been to any of their events but they have a nice community focused calendar of events. I am gluten free and twice I have gotten a sandwich to go and it wasn’t on gluten free bread. But considering how often I go there, it is a small mistake on the volume of orders I have placed.

Cool place! I came for the blood drive, found great food, decent seating options. Coffee was good, though I’m not sure I’d come seeking single origin beans.

I liked the establishment's atmosphere, and the service was great. I ordered the classic breakfast with scrambled eggs, potatoes, Italian bread, and bacon. The eggs were dry, the bread was very dry, and the bacon was partially burnt. The potatoes were actually very good. The food was inexpensive. In response: We squeezed this visit in just before an eye appointment, which I made with 10mins to spare. Sending the plate back wasn't really an option because of time constraints. I see you rank really well, so another visit is on the plate.

Cute little cafe! Great coffee and food!! They were friendly and welcoming. Met up with a friend here to try something new and we had our toddlers with us. They had a big room they allowed the kids run around in, had two high chairs and were very tolerable of the toddler shinanigans 💜 the owner also told us about the Easter Bunny stopping by and other events they host to bring your kids to. Also said you can rent out the room as a venue. Definitely will be going back

Shaler Township has long needed a locally-owned sit-down "spread out and enjoy" coffee shop that also serves a solid range of site-made breakfast and lunch options. All card and digital payment methods are accepted as are "order ahead" online. But wait - there's more. Did you know that Ruckus is also a medium-size event space? The "Ruckus Room" in the rear-half of the building has space to accommodate standing "mixing" events of easily 80 people and seated wedding receptions, anniversaries, bat mitzvahs, trivia competitions, and vendor fairs! Having done large event planning, I can say it's so very nice to have access to a venue that is reasonably priced WITH the options of catering, chairs, high and low tables, linens, and plates all in one place. I think it's also important to note that parking can be limited when the cafe is open and the event space is being used. Fortunately, there are a few retail places right across the street with (excessive....) parking. For coffee, lunch, an event, or just about anything else that fits their space, I recommend Ruckus wholeheartedly.

This really is a hidden treasure. The people there are great. The food is great. They have an excellent atmosphere. I will be going here many more times

We hosted our daughter’s baby shower here. The food was delicious, the atmosphere beautiful. The owner Chris could not have been more accommodating. We had our choice of beautiful linens and table runners included in the price. She even offered vases for the centerpieces. I appreciate her many years of experience with event planning as she offered some great suggestions. I attended a 60th birthday party here and was so impressed I had to use this venue. I highly recommend having your party here.

Great coffee, great food, great atmosphere!

Ruckus gives multi sensory delights. The goat cheese salad with cranberries, candied almonds & red wine vinaigrette was so delicious, I bought another to take home for dinner. It was so good, I forgot to take a photo. Just fine right in! The scents from the freshly baked pastries plus the artwork on the walls made this lunch a great experience.

Finally tried this place on the way to my office - it was a pleasant surprise. The Tuscan chicken and sausage soup was a warm relief on a cold December day. The Caesar salad was enormous and well made. A great little lunch spot.

Went with a friend, it was my first time. Atmosphere is fantastic, service was quick and personable. Art on the walls was beautiful, definitely considering going back so I can add some to my wall. Coffee was great and you have to try the pumpkin roll. Delicious! Cant recommend hard enough. Update: I've reviewed Ruckus before but I just went there today again on a whim and I have to update yall. Ive yet to be in when they were serving breakfast items, and I am grateful I did. This place is seriously fantastic. The atmosphere was lively, the staff were impeccable and genuine, the food and coffee were divine. You have got to stop in and try their Veggie Scramble. It came out hot and quick, very affordable, and looked astonishing. I've never seen a better item plated. And they gave it to me Togo too! I'm attaching a picture and I'm glad I took one because I absolutely devoured this meal. Taste: unbelievable. Fresh and Delicious! From the first bite to the last this meal delivered in ways I cannot fully express. Life changing. I'm regretting not getting a second one. You can bet I'll be back. A true gem of an experience. Ruckus always has something going on and the first thing you see as you enter is a wall of their activities right next to an active community board. I've been to an event or two and they're always guaranteed fun. Manager's pretty darn savvy too, imo. What are you waiting for darlings?

Got the baked pear latte and was really excited for it. It was not the pear explosion I was hoping for. I also thought that the prices were a bit high. It's a very cute shop and the staff is very nice though.

We enjoyed our experience at Ruckus today, including the super friendly service and nice variety of menu options. The veggie scrambler was delicious with goat cheese and balsamic glaze. Belgian waffles come with lots of additions including strawberries, bananas, whipped cream, etc. Lots of coffee & tea options and flavored syrups (SF too!). Will be back!

This is my go to spot before work! I always get a latte and avocado toast and it’s the highlight of my mornings. The staff is so kind and friendly — they know my name and order by heart and welcome me in with a smile! My fave local coffee shop —cannot recommend enough.

A small coffee shop with a small menu. I have been here twice and everything I got has been good and the staff have been friendly.

I needed to pick up coffees to go so I decided to try out this cafe for the first time. I ordered two seasonal lattes and some baked goods. The drinks were very good but the baked goods were just phenomenal. I tried the banana bread with chocolate chips and the pumpkin bread. Soooo much flavor and lots of moisture! Everything seemed very fresh. I will definitely be back!

The reeses peanut butter cup cookie i had was excellent and the raspberry lemonade tea was delicious, prices were very fair and the staff was friendly. Only thing to note is the parking lot is slightly confusing but they make good use of the space they have. 100% would go again

Oh my goodness the Avacodo toast was the BEST! And try the smoothies!

It’s a nice place and friendly service. However, the waffle sandwich has sugar crunch balls throughout the waffle. Some might love that, I hated it and was spitting them out. It would be nice if that were advertised as a part of the waffle. I’ve never had a waffle that had crunchy sugar balls throughout it anywhere else.

Got the Italian Panini and it was great!!

One of my wife and I’s new favorite places. They were quite busy but the food still came quick. The waffle sandwich might be the best we ever had. Incredible

Great breakfast; I got the June special breakfast chorizo pizza and it was loaded with a perfect blend of toppings and cooked just right. Everyone was friendly; staff and patrons. And it was spotlessly clean. Great place!

It is a great little place. Unique entries, lots of coffee drinks and some sweets They have events in the evening. Some are free others a small fee. Once you get a Ruckus mug you can fill up for free once a month . They send out emails for that, events and today was iced coffee for $1 They have a water bowl for dogs outside 😁

Delicious and unique but exactly the meal you wanted

We've always loved the coffee and food here, and recently had our baby shower in their event room. The staff was so easy to work with, the food was great, set-up went perfectly, and everyone had a great time. Definitely will continue to go there, and will be hosting more events there in the future.

Me and my family come here regularly for breakfast and coffee but on top of that I just had an amazing surprise party for my mom here and I couldn’t have been happier with the staff and food!! The event space in the back was perfect with plenty of room and even a bar and a bartender provided. Everyone raved about the food how great it was. Staff was great with helping me set up before and provided so much for me. I will definitely use them for my next event!

Great breakfast. I liked the PB toast, coffee, and egg sandwiches. The atmosphere is also good - the place feels light, airy, and positive.

So glad we found this place last year. Love to stop for a London Fog when on this side of town. Food is always good. Have been to a few events.
