Buckle up, because what happened at the Runza today around 1:10 PM was straight-up *Twilight Zone* level insanity. My friends and I casually ordered 8 Runzas—no big deal, right? WRONG. It was as if we triggered some ancient curse with that order, and suddenly we found ourselves in the midst of the most unhinged fast food experience ever. First off, the guy at the counter—let’s call him *Lord of Rudeness*—stared us down like we were the enemies of the state. We politely placed our order, and he legit *growled* at us. Like, a low, guttural sound from the depths of who-knows-where. Then, mid-order, he ripped off his name tag, slammed it onto the counter, and *dramatically flipped his apron inside out* like some sort of demented superhero transformation. At this point, things were escalating fast. He disappears into the back, and I kid you not, we hear some bizarre chanting. I’m 80% sure he was either summoning dark forces or leading some kind of forbidden fast food cult. Then he comes back, slaps our receipt down with the force of Thor’s hammer, and starts juggling fries. Not in a fun, quirky way—more like a "I’ve lost all grip on reality" kind of way. Meanwhile, we’re just standing there, questioning everything. When the food FINALLY came out, it wasn’t even food anymore. One Runza was folded into some kind of *origami swan*, another looked like it had been stomped on. He tossed them at us—yes, TOSSED—like frisbees, without breaking eye contact the whole time. As we’re leaving, he climbs onto the counter, stands there like some sort of deranged gargoyle, and *whispers* “Runza will find you” before vanishing back into the kitchen. I don’t know what dimension that Runza is operating in, but if you go, be prepared to enter a nightmare vortex of terrifying customer service. 0/10 for food. 10/10 for the most bizarre performance art I’ve ever witnessed in a fast food joint.

Was home for a visit and all I wanted was a Runza, lol. Good stuff and I sure do miss y'all! Only complaint was y'all are too heavy on that salt. Lighten up!

Let me start off by saying this is the second time that I brought my fiance here and we brought her boys for their first time all the way from Texas. Now the boys weren't too keen on the sandwich but they do like the fries and the ice cream and let me say that the people working here were so nice and gave them such big ice cream cones. I have to say they were very polite and nice and I definitely like how cleanly and tidy the place was and how fast the service was and how they treat you is above any other. I definitely recommend coming here.

Fries were terrible. Went back in to get better fries. They "re-made" them. Still terrible. Not the runza fries I know anyway.

Went in for the first time to get food for my family, waited almost 10 minutes to even order. When I got my food the runzas were soggy and seemed old, I also got a burger for myself which was very sloppy and I asked for no onion and which it was still on the burger

Not a big fan of their fries, rings are good, runzas seem more greasy every time I eat at any runza.

People working there are friendly, courteous no problem there. In last couple weeks been there couple times for cheese and regular runzas and they were falling apart so bad we could hardly eat. Will have to stop somewhere else.

Still good food and a good deal at that. A little bit crowded at times, but that is just how good they are!

This Runza was just fantastic. Not only are the burgers good and the fries great the service by the staff was incredible and fast. Such nice people. We will go back for sure!

Ordered the number 1 with onion rings. It wS nice and hot and the onion rings was a little crisper than usual and that is the way I like them.

Went through the drive through and ordered a medium Swiss mushroom burger meal. I asked for a medium ice water with my meal. The lady handed me a small ice water and when I asked her for a medium she barked at the other drive thru worker to make a medium ice water and threw our napkins in our bag before practically throwing our food at us while glaring.

The chicken berry salad is good. Love the onion rings! Regular Runza, YUM! Some of the best fries in the city! Cookie ice cream sandwich! (No, I didn't eat all of this in one visit 😄) Friendly staff. The man at the counter was helpful and had a good sense of humor. I put four stars on "Atmosphere" because I, myself, can't stand the minimalist, industrial look Runza went to. The prices are getting a bit ridiculous. Not paying $2+ for a small pop. But I'll still go as a treat to myself once in a while.

Only thing here lately when going in to eat the tables or chairs have some form of food or soda on it. I think if you dine in as a customer the customer shouldn't have to clean the tables or chairs to begin eating. Buy also you have the best soda pop machine the soda was good. Thank you for the best sevice.

They were obviously short staffed, but the young kid at the window was perfectly organized and ready to take on what was tossed his way. Food was excellent as always.

Everything was good except my salad was not that good.

Heading home to Kansas City from Lincoln NE, had to introduce a friend to the wonder that is Runza. A new convert was made. Excellent as always.

My order was totally wrong. The fries had definitely been sitting there for a LONG while. Not a good lunch time say the least!

Placed a mobile order to pick up at this location. Went through the drive thru to pick it up. Speaker was out so you had to wait until you pulled up to the window. After waiting in the drive thru for over 10 minutes I get to the window and am told I'm not able to pick up my order through the drive thru. I go in and my order is sitting literally ten steps from the window. Apparently that was to far for one of the employees to walk. At this point I am visibly frustrated and as I walk out I can hear the employees laughing at me. On top of all this when I get home with my food I discover they didn't even get my order correct. I have never received just disrespectful and inconsiderate service at a restaurant. I will never give this Runza location my business ever again.

Always good, consistent food. This time, the server who took our order was obviously on their first day and made some small mistakes - which were quickly corrected. The restaurant is always clean and functional.

Stood at the front counter for 15 minutes with no acknowledgement from employees working drive thru or kitchen. Eventually left because no one came to take our order.

Classic Nebraska place to eat. Please if you go here don't put your chili on your cinnamon roll we don't do that here yuck. I honestly thing everything here is good for a fast food burger joint. I love the onion rings.

This particular Runza is always 100% perfect in terms of always getting the orders correct, and in a timely manner too.

I don't think I've ever visited Nebraska before, and I've gotta say I'm a fan of the original Runza sandwich! I wasn't sure what to expect, so I'm glad I looked up the menu beforehand. It was very tasty. I got fries and ranch dressing on the side, and those were nice and crispy. Overall two thumbs up from me!

It is always a good place to stop for a late night snack or dinner. Runza has been a part of our family as well as many Nebraskans for many many years.

They were quick at serving my family. We quickly got out food. The atmosphere was nice to eat in. I go there often and seldom have issues, usually only when it is busy.

There is a young dark skinned lady with long box braids that were all over the place for one. But she was in the back directing the young man in the window to act poorly when he was trying to give good service. I asked for my order to be a specific way and it was made wrong. The young man put in the order to be correct and then corrected. The young lady in the back was acting very loud and GHETTO as if she was going to fight about The food I PAID for. Now had I had the time to deal with it at that moment it would have been WAY WORSE

Eat here at least once a week for over a year. Only had a couple bad experiences.

I'm visiting my home town (Lincoln) from my home now (idaho). I miss having Runzas, i was smart this timr and bought a 12pk of frozen runzas! Cant wait to enjoy them.

I went through drive-through. Cashier was friendly, and I didn't wait long for my food. My order was correct as expected, and the food was very good as usual.

I always get my food hot and fresh here, my favorites are the fries, Swiss cheese mushroom burger and the chicken strips. Runza also has some of the best ranch in town and very good French onion dip as well. I usually don’t have to wait long to order and get my food here even when it’s busy. The main attraction for Runza is their Runza’s and you’ll never go wrong trying them. They are a unique flavor and an experience that you can’t find anywhere. People even order them to ship to their families places they don’t have them! Overall recommend this place for their outstanding burgers, chicken strips and fries, my niece also loves their mini corn dogs!

The Swiss mushroom runza was split open and stuck to the wrapper. It was still hot and fresh though, so I still call it a win!

There is something magical about cooked cabbage with ground beef inside bread.

I think I would travel to NE just to get some Runza. This was my first time eating here, and I’ve already gone back for a second. The American cheese Runza has got to be one of the most delicious and unique fast food items I’ve ever had. It’s a delicious and hot sandwich with ground beef, cheese, cabbage and onions. It’s so fresh and so hot and one of a kind. The cries are hot and fresh and the ice cream is also so good. Their ranch is homemade, as well. Employees were extremely friendly and the drive through was super fast. Well done!!!

We ordered 2 kids meals with apple juice and 2 combo meals thru the drive thru.. Got home and didn't get the apple juice. Called the store and just got an I'm sorry from the manager. Thought they might send us a free meal or something to cover the cost of the juices.

I'm afraid that like many Nebraska native companies have become a money grab. The food is good enough but not enough to tide me over. The servings have gotten smaller. And the prices have gone up. Typical corporate greed

Drive through lady was very rude rushing my girl to hurry an order hell no thats not how it works an they messed up her order which isn't right either so not going back to this one got one order right and one wrong so no I do not approve of that

Temperature Tuesday. Was ok. Fries tasted like a funnel cake.. rings are not what they used to be . They were too big of an onion and not fully cooked.. crispy raw onion in bread crumbs

I'm from Nebraska, and Runza is a Nebraska tradition. It wasn't the original restaurant, and the menus have changed a bit since my last visit, but it was as good as ever.

Did not give me the reciept. Beef insidebthebrunza was nearly char, and fries were hollow husks. Im never returning to this store again! 40th and Randolf is the next closest and usually have no issues.

Always good. The ONLY fast food restaurant that uses a cooking/frying oil that does NOT upset my digestive tract. Never any issues with any of these restaurants!

I like to get ice cream and Fries from Runza. Today I got the Original Vegetarian sandwich. It tastes good, but it is a little bit dry and smaller than I expected. Next time, I'd like to put cheese or mayonnaise in the sandwich.

This runza is close to work so I come here when I crave it, the staff is very nice and one of them comes into my work often. We always talk a little when I'm ordering, it's nice to see a familiar face.
