We got the dirty zombie and an iced tea and both were amazing! Loved the whole vibe of the cafe and the outdoor seating with zombie jesus. Staff was super friendly and welcoming. We will definitely come back next time we’re in NOLA.

Wowza. The witchoco lavender and iced cold brew w Mexican vanilla and shot of espresso coffee are amzing. So is strawberry poppyseed pound cake are second to none! Friendly quick service. Not much seating but the eclectic atmosphere makes up for it. Right next to a cemetary. Wonderful for tourists and locals. 1 blk from the tour pickup location for cemetaries/ghost tours etc.

Unique zombie themed coffee joint with a patio that overlooks a graveyard. Drinks are a little pricey but the quality is better than your average Starbucks or Einstein.

Loved this place, so much so that we went back a couple of times over our trip. Very friendly staff, fantastic drinks, and good pastries. The Dirty Zombie is the best frozen coffee drink I've ever had, a mix of blended chocolate malt and espresso, seriously indulgent. My wife, a confessed coffee snob, absolutely loved each visit. The pastries were very good, large portions for the money. The spot is quirky and has a nice view of the cemetery located behind it. Welcome to an eccentric and eclectic coffee bar.

This has always been an amazing place to shop and get coffee, I recommened the dirty blended macha with almond milk and vanilla, absolutely delicious

Can't remember last time I had gotten an ice latte from a coffee store. I typically don't believe in spending that kind of money on coffee, okay I'm cheap. But I have to say I was having a craving for one, and stop by sacred grinds coffee house on a whim because I was passing by it. Very glad that I did, it was a very smooth iced coffee. Still overpriced like all coffee shops 🤣 (okay that's just my opinion guys) but in this case it was worth it because it hit the spot and was very tasty. Very limited seating both inside and outside for those who've never been to this coffee place. Although it has its own entrance doorway it's adjacent with an interior connecting door to the herbal company on canal Street. Cool vibes but not a place to go to with a big crew of people unless you're taking everything to go because there simply isn't a lot of seating.

Such a unique coffee shop - the ability to sit on the back patio and look into the cemetery while eating a slice of delicious king cake or drinking your latte is unbeatable.

Would like the dark roast to hit harder but it was a decent cup of coffee. My wife’s latte was delicious. Not a chocolate person but the chocolate muffin my wife made me split with her was also wonderful. Would definitely recommend stopping by if your in the area

My van has a 31 gallon tank. And I wanted their coffee enough to drive to mid City when getting a coffee from them was my only business that far from downtown. Grace was the barista and made my day sparkly.

Very cool coffee shop that serves up delicious coffee. We tried the Iced Latte and Iced Mocha Latte…both were very good. They offer dairy and non-dairy milks…and will adjust the amount of flavor syrup for those of us that don’t like our coffee sweet!!!

I really love this place, but they recently reduced their hours to 8am-3pm, which is a shame. They're missing the 7am rush hour patrons and the late afternoon "I need a caffeine jolt" crowd. I certainly thought they had enough business for their original hours. I wonder why they did that...

Backyard is really cool. Only a few tables in the back but it has a view of the cemetery…and some interesting statues too lol. There are bathrooms inside and outside in the back. Interesting variety of pastries, snacks and teas, classic cafe offerings. Friendly, homey cafe, definitely recommend

It I'd tradition for me now to stop here on my way out of the city. I love their deco style and that I can stock up on my altar supplies and essential oils and get a coffee all in one place! The service is always fantastic and I love their housemate lavender and Chai syrups.

Love this place! I especially adore the chai latte which is the perfect level of spice plus the patio area is an awesome hangout spot & the service is always very welcoming. :-)

Me and a friend went in to get hot chocolate and we asked if the store accepted apple pay ,to which the employee rudely responded "we usually don't because we can't get gratuity " . After paying for the drinks she sat our cups in the back of the counter instead of handing it to us and to top it all off it was the worst hot Chocolate we ever had. We will definitely be taking our business elsewhere !

This place was on my top places I wanted to try when coming to New Orleans and it didn’t disappoint!!! I loved it so much that before my trip to the airport I made a special detour just to have one last coffee here. I had the cacao mortal, iced. It was so good that I have had dreams about it since. My husband got their moon chai and he’s obsessed. He’s extremely picky with his chai and said it was almost perfect. I can’t wait to come back here which might be a long time since I’m from Oregon but til then I’ll be dreaming of it!

Baristas here are the bomb! The coffee is stellar and the prices are great! The ham and cheese sandwich with an iced latte is perfect lunch for a steamy NOLA day!

My friend and I had stopped here because I wanted to see a cemetery in LA before I returned home. After we walked around, we noticed the coffee shop and decided to visit. The shop was so cute with a cafe on one side with pastries and a store on the other side with herbs, vitamins and novelties. All the staff were extremely nice and very helpful. I cant wait to visit again when in on the area.

"Sacred" grinds, not so sacred people. This seems to be a coffee shop that knows it can always make money off of cemetery and ghost tours, and therefore does not care about how they treat people. Long story below, but to summarize: the customer service is terrible and the food/drinks are not worth it. I live in the neighborhood and have visited a few times. The baristas have been generally stand-offish, but I recently had a terrible experience. I visited with 2 friends in February 2022. All of us ordered a drink and food. The drinks were fine. However, we also ordered quiche that they had displayed in the window, and this became a whole problem. The barista took a long time to give us the quiche, and then when she did, it was thrown in a bag, ice cold, and still wrapped in seram wrap. When I asked if it could be heated up, the barista gestured to the microwave in the corner and did not say a single word to me. I then had to ask her for a plate, and she rolled her eyes at me. Perhaps I could be marginally forgiving if she was busy, but there was literally no one else in the store. Then, when I used the microwave, it short-circuited immediately. Note: it was plugged into an old extension outlet, which is not safe. I asked what to do, and she rolled her eyes again, unplugged the microwave, and plugged it back in. This happened two more times before I gave up and left with my cold quiche and feeling completely disrespected. When I got home, I heated up the quiche, and it wasn't even good. Overall, a really terrible experience. I'd recommend any other coffee shop in the area over this place.

Like this place mostly due to the awesome outdoor sitting area in the back right next to one of the Catholic cemeteries. Easy parking just out on the street, although it’s a busy roadway so be careful. It is confusing when you enter the coffee shop since they share there space with a retail space. The door to the coffee shop opens to the coffee counter and display case where they have their food/baked goods, but then there is this little ramp that goes down into the smoke shop area that people also gather on. Had some awkward times when people were waiting in each area and didn’t realize another whole line was around the corner.

Great place for some coffee! We made sure to stop in a few times while visiting NOLA last month. The location is great, and if you get the chance, go sit in the back patio area which overlooks a cemetery.

Absolutely wonderful little coffee shop right up next to the cemetery! Plenty of coffee choices and flavored drink to try, and attached to a CBD place, definitely a great stop while I was on the cemetery tour! Highly recommend getting a nice cold coffee drink from here!

Everything about Sacred Grinds is on-theme, and the drinks are delicious, too! This is a small coffee shop with the most rad decor. Seating is outside (front and back). There is an attached herb store that's fun to shop post-coffee along with plenty of cemeteries to visit! The iced coffee is amazing and has rich chocolate undertones. The teas are flavorful also. Pick up a punch card because you'll want to come back. Covid precautions as of October 2021: Masks required, baristas wear their masks properly, and safety dividers at the counter.

Nola deej recommended this place, I can safely say that the decor and cemetery was amazing and entertaining to look at. The coffee as well was yummmmm, however customer service is a huge deal to me and I can tell ya that the young man who made my yum yum coffee was not very welcoming at all. I understand that times are hard and tough right now, and I dont know what's going on in his life, but a welcoming hello goes such a long way. So in conclusion coffee good customer service sucked. So fellow googlers Accepts cash, Accepts debit/credit Affordable...some things anyway. Not made for small, running around children who enjoy touching everything 😉

Delicious coffee. Teen Mini-Me and I went back and got a small for ml abuela. Even she approved. The extra Colombian shot kept me going for hours. The chocolate croissant was delicious. The ham and cheese croissant had a slightly nutmeggy or cinnamon taste in the crema that many would find delicious. I'm not fond of that flavor profile, but it was still very good.

Really good spicy chai tea lattes! Not much seating and kind of weird that it's attached to a smoke shop, but cool vibe and you can really sit right by the cemetary. There were people working on laptops so you can definitely use the wifi here, but I didn't see anywhere that was a non-smoking area.

Coffee was good. Decent prices. The atmosphere was not for me. The description on Google of spooky decor sounded cool but it was more hippy less spooky. Again good coffee for the price just not my kind of place.

One of my favorite coffee places! Very cool things to look at. The art is nice and it’s different but in a good way. I always visit everytime I’m in town.

Coffee is decent. Not the greatest but definitely not the worst. However it is very cheap. Food is good. Walk my dog there every weekend for breakfast, they always give her a treat so bonus points for that.

Only heard good things plus close to all the Canal cemeteries Sacred Grinds has some outside seating maybe for 4 but way busy street it's right by end of Canal streetcar, the coffee is great the neighbors love it but it's connected to The Herb Import, great gifts, incense, essential oils, glass products in their back room and ATM, a block before they also own the Shoppe for fun items for both guys and gals

I love this spot because the people are friendly, there is a wide selection of food & bevys... plus you are nextdoor to the world's quietest neighbors!⚰️⚱️ So bring a book, have a seat outside on the porch and enjoy some time.

Friendly and welcoming staff are familiar here; they have abundant knowledge of each of the products they carry. There is an array of teas, herbs, books on great topics, incense of many sizes among so many more great and interesting things for purchase. There is Sacred Grinds, a coffee shop, inside as well!
