Watch airplanes take off and land while you enjoy great burgers, salads, wraps and sandwiches. Homemade pies in a variety of flavors top up a good meal. The breakfast menu looks good too.

Amarillos best breakfast by far. Pricing is far and the staff is fast and friendly. Its bit out of way but worth the trip every time.

Only thing I have a problem with is 8.50 for a small piece of pie….that means 1 whole pie cost 68$ I understand the cost of thing but this is way over priced!!!

A cute little diner attached to an airport. Great views to watch the planes take off while eating tasty food. They were flexible with the breakfast time so we could still get it after 11:00. We also highly recommend the Wildcat Steak and Cheese sandwich. It comes on homemade bread. Yum!!

Me and my family of 5 were traveling through the town and stopped off for breakfast. Sad it ended at 11, but ordered food anyways. It was THE BEST BURGER I HAVE HAD IN TEXAS!!! I’m from San Antonio and all burgers down there taste the same. But here, OMG!! Made in house patties and pie crust is also made in house. Sooooooo good!!!

It’s was my first time going to Shelby’s with my friend. For breakfast and fellowship. The breakfast was amazing and the service was really quick an it was enjoyable watching airplane taking off. I recommend everyone to go try it out. I’ll plan on going back soon . Big five star to Shelly’s ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️

Love this place for breakfast and lunch!

Best biscuits had in, maybe ever, fluffy pancakes, plenty of perfectly cooked bacon etc. Great food, great service, super nice folks and a cool view to boot. Get off the beaten path and check this place out !

Best so far amarillo french toast

We ate lunch here two days in a row. There were 4 of us. The food was delicious. We had chicken fried steak, okra, potatoes and gravy, HB steak, taco salads, hamburgers and it was great! The service I can not say enough about it! The entire staff are friendly and continue service with a small. Fun place to sit and watch the airplanes

A gem of a place. We always stop when we pass through Amarillo (when it’s open). So fun to watch the planes take off. Good is all made in house and so good.

Delicious prime rib and chicken fried steak

The atmosphere at Shelby’s was very unique and the food was amazing! Bonus was being able to watch planes take off while enjoying our breakfast. The biscuits and gravy are a must! Service was prompt and welcoming.

I was shocked at how good my omelet meal was. The waiter was awesome. All three of us could not have left happier.

The food has always been timely served by courteous and helpful servers and is always delicious. Love watching the excited children and curious adults checking out the planes. Don’t forget to have a piece of wonderful homemade pie for dessert.

We enjoyed a delicious dinner! It was a rainy Friday evening, so we didn't get to see the airplanes take off. However, my chicken fried steak was perfect with mashed potatoes and gravy and a side salad. My key lime was wonderful! I could taste the real key lime juice! Kudos to their baker!:) Everyone in our party of six enjoyed their meals. The service was very pleasant and professional even though the restaurant was full! We will definitely come back again!:)

Shelby’s is another great hidden gem in Amarillo. I have spoken to a few people around town who have never been to this place. The atmosphere is aviation. It is on an airport. We always get great service & food here. Bonus, their pies and desserts are amazing! You need to plan ahead or plan to wait because most of the time this place is full.

Food was good. pricey. But flavor was good. Only reason why I'm giving 2 stars is because of the service. Our server never checked on us. We needed more coffee and salsa and he never came by. My friend said last time they were there that same server never checked on them either. Please check on your tables it makes a huge difference.

This place is amazing! The food was excellent and service was top notch, but the atmosphere was unbelievable. We got to see a plane take off and land. And within a few feet from us. It's a bit pricey for some items, but worth it.

Great hidden gem, food was great no doubt, being right by the runway with large windows, amazing, my only complaint would be prices…. 4 people eating was $111 not including the tip.

Always a great spot for breakfast, but can get pretty crowded if you go too late. Very fun to sit and watch the planes come in and out while enjoying a decent meal.

Food was awesome. I highly recommend the chicken fried steak. Nothing is bought pre-made. The chicken fried steak easily took up half the plate. Fantastic place.

Had to stop for lunch in Amarillo during our road trip and found this diner in the terminal building of a small local airport. Excellent diner fare and large portions.

What a wonderful place to have lunch with friends! We had been there before, so we were more than happy to recommend it to friends for our lunch together. The meals were tasty and plentiful. I suggest the chicken fried steak or chopped steak for sure. They had several pies to choose from for dessert, but we were so full! We'll definitely go back for dessert! Also, forgot to mention you'll love watching the small aircraft coming and going. 😁

The atmosphere is amazing. Watching airplanes landing take off. But the prices are ridiculous. They serve table syrup with waffles. If you want "real maple" syrup, that is an additional $2. They nickel and dime you to poverty.

We got there on a Friday at 530 and we were greeted friendly, Had drinks and order taken almost immediately and then got food very shortly after. Staff was great, place was clean, food was perfect!

One of the best restaurants Amarillo has ever had! Always clean, always friendly service, and of course always amazing food. I've tried many different things on the menu and never been disappointed and I can't say that about any other restaurant!

We had Friday dinner with a total of 10 people and everyone was very pleased with their food, service, and atmosphere. Amy and the rest of the team were great. The meals ranged from burgers to salads to smothered steaks. Oh, and dessert was amazing too. We will definitely be back.
