Delicious pho!! The only place in billings that is wife and husband owned who are here serving and cooking for guest everyday!!

This place was delicious! Such a fun hibachi grill experience! Our cook Max put on a great show and made us some delicious food. My husband did the steak and shrimp and I did the filet mignon. Highly recommend! We will be back!

been to umi probably 50 times and been disappointed 48 out of the 50. had a reservation for 7:15 without knowing they closed at 8. the owner was very pleased to serve us. ended up being the cook as he saw they where busy! 100% will be back and never again to umi :). food was perfect as well

Delicious and great portion size. Got 2 shrimp hibachi dinners with extra yum yum sauce $50. Ordered to go so didn’t get to enjoy the environment but inside was very lively sounded like all the families were enjoying the experience.

This place is amazing! Pho was so so so good!! I wish they open on Monday cuz I’m dying to go back!! Service really great and friendly. Portion size is crazy! So much for for less then 12 a person!!!

I have eaten at SO many places in Billings MT, and I will be the first to admit that I CRAVE the rare beef Pho with vegetables 3 times a week. The broth of the Pho used at Samurai is hands down the best there is. Kalvin and his team make samurai the best Pho joint in the state, in my opinion. If you haven’t tried Kalvin’s Pho drop what you’re doing and go they open at 11 and the atmosphere is top shelf along with the customer service and food.

Just enjoyed dinner here. I had pho, my husband habachi pork and drink. Both were absolutely amazing. Great portion sizes. Such friendly service. Look forward to coming again.

Updating We had another birthday dinner here and I stand by this review. I will add that our kids actually ask for the vegetables here. Supporting this locally owned restaurant is not difficult. We love this place. Our kids always request this dinner for their birthdays. We have eaten at other hibachis before and none of them hold a candle to this food.

The only thing I can say . Soup good not great .Ordered pot stickers. We received 5 super tiny . Half the size of any pot sticker I have ever eaten. Should of taken a picture. Total let down. 9 bucks for a very small quantity. Not worth it. Especially if you share between 2 people. The spring rolls same we received 2 tiny over priced 9 bucks . Way, way to expensive for quality and quantity. I would do a hard pass on this place. I will not be going back. The

I am driving through Montana as part of a road trip. For some reason after driving all day I have been craving either ramen or pho. I got carry out seafood pho and a couple of rolls of sushi. The sushi was incredibly fresh, and the pho was delicious. Craving satisfied!

Saw this little place for quite a while before trying it, we decided to finally go in… and I’m sure glad we did because it was so good! The place itself is pretty small but they make up for it with the hibachi and pho!

Kal is an amazing Chef and host! The food quality is World Class and the dining experience is one of a kind! The staff is very attentive and make you feel like you are the most important person on the planet! I would highly recommend Samuri!

Pho is not available where I live. I look for new places to try it every time I am on the road. Samurai has some of the best pho I have had in Montana.

This is the perfect place for a more intimate hibachi experience. Unlike the larger places you are able to speak with your table without yelling. The manager is always great, staff is always greatm food is exceptional, i do wish the hibachi came with noodles. Really good pho to!

Absolutely one of the best Japanese hibachi grills I’ve ever been to. The sushi was fresh and delicious. The cook was fantastic and very entertaining. Everything was cooked to perfection. Enjoyed the whole experience and can’t wait for our next outing there.

For me, the best Pho in Billings. The noodles are always perfect. Impeccable service and a very fun atmosphere. The seating is hibachi tables, so a lot of times you will share and chat with other customers. They have an Asian market that communicates with the restaurant and it's awesome to investigate while food is on the way. So many interesting food items.

I am a huge pho fanatic and really enjoy a good bowl of pho, and I will say, this place has good pho (although I wish the bowl was bigger). To be honest, I was a little hesitant because of the name “Samurai” (Japanese food) but boy I am glad we stopped in. Their pho is excellent (better than a few pho places in Seattle)! But the other factor that makes a meal really enjoyable is the awesome service. The owner, himself, checked in on everybody to see how their food was and if they needed anything else. I really enjoyed dinning here and highly recommend this place. I will definitely stop in again when passing through Billings again.

I wasn't feeling the best today at work, so I called in an order of the combination pho. Pho is either hit or miss, people know how to make it or they don't. This place knows how to make it right!!!! I asked for extra jalapeños and extra Sriracha and they were happy oblige! You can't buy a quality meal for $10.75 unless you go to Samarai!!! Thank you so much! Great good ! Highly recommend for Pho!

10000% the bets sushi in town. I thought I knew the best sushi here but I was wrong. Give Samurai a try. By the time we left, we wee on a first name business with the staff. This place is top notch AND affordable. Gained a lifelong customer for sure the other day.

Excellent food! We were there in December 2021, a big family gathering of 14 people including 4 young kids who were fascinated by watching the staff cook food in front of them with lots of fire, etc. Veryaccommodating staff

Awesome place yo grab some grub. 4 tables fill and empty pretty quick, but saving your spot ahead of time is recommended, but not needed. I had the NY Strip and Shrimp plate with fried rice. Very awesome! The additional sauce was spot on and delicious. The steak and shrimp were cooked to perfection. Medium steak, just the way I like it. Tender. West Billings became a lot more expanded since the last time I was here. It looks awesome just like this place. Definitely recommend hitting this place up for a dinner and a show! Excellent

We stopped in for lunch and tried Pho for the first time. I loved it!! Don't think I'll ever want ramen noodles again and question how much I like chicken noodle soup now. Haha We will be back!

Stopped in expecting hibachi but was told they only serve pho at lunch. Which is rice noodles with meat added. Never had it before so figured I would try it and am glad I did. It was extremely delicious. Would defiantly recommend. Also the staff was extremely nice and friendly.

The Pho is unbelievably delicious! It's a fairly small restaurant but the food is huge on flavor. I'm so glad I looked up the reviews on this place and we've been back twice in the last week. Make sure you get reservations for their dinner service which is hibachi, they're only doing reservations right now. They're only doing pho during the lunch hours 11:00 to 2:00 but it is outstandingly amazing! We get there vegetable spring rolls green tea my wife gets the vegetable pho and I get either the rare beef or today I had the shrimp pho and they are just so good!

I've never dined inside, but we've ordered takeout a handful of times and every time is exceptional. Even the tempura veggies are nice and crisp when we get home; nothing soggy! The servings are generous, and the food is absolutely delicious.

If you like pho you need to stop by here. The food is very affordable and tastes great! I had the brisket pho which was very tender and flavorful. Their chili oil that they provide is delicious with an amazing aroma. We couldn't stop eating it. The gentleman serving us was extremely friendly and had great customer service. We were enjoying the food too much to get his name but he gave us a 5 star experience. We'll definitely stop by here again.

This is a wonderful family restaurant. They are kind, work hard and deliver beautiful food. Amazing pho, sushi and hibachi. They provide excellent service and superb food every time. My husband was having a bad day, but by the end of our meal was so happy that we came here. This place is family friendly. It isn’t huge and fancy, but it is cozy and feels like home. We just came back from a trip from Seattle and both agreed this was a much better meal than most of our meals there where we paid a comparable price. Highly recommend! We didn’t have a reservation but they were able to get us in quickly.
