Ahi tuna salad was a bust. Minuscule amount of tuna, iceberg lettuce. 4 pieces of mandarin orange.

Blown away by everything. So amazing and delicious! I live in Virginia City but definitely have a new favorite restaurant here in Billings! Well worth the trip!

Fabulous! We went here for some sushi and discovered much more! Moses was our server, but also a great bartender come to find out! He suggested several different drinks, one being a Michilada. OMG! This was unlike any I have ever had. Cilantro, jalapeno, citrus, Tajin and a cold Sapporo made for one crazy amazing drink. Go there and ask for Moses, you will NOT be disappointed!

Went in for an anniversary dinner and Moses was our waiter. He was very prompt and had great recommendations to the questions we were asking. I had wanted a traditional cocktail (Tito's and Tonic) and he said that I should REALLY try one of his house cocktails (not on the menu) that are very flavor forward and pallette friendly. I thought, why not and my wife ordered a mango margarita and I ordered a jalapeno and mango margarita. Let me just say, WOW WOW WOW! I was so pleasantly surprised and it was so refreshing! Food was on point, but Moses made the whole experience! Highly recommend asking to be seated with Moses!!!

Sushi was great plus Moses made the best spicy margarita I’ve ever had in my entire life. I wasn’t really in the mood for one at the time but agreed to one and am sure glad I did. I’d go back in a heartbeat.

Food was great, but service was pretty bad. We had a very strange young lady as our waitress who didn’t seem to care about anything. We were a group of 5 and aside from her just being plain weird, she never once came back around to check on us, nor get anybody another drink. In short, we had a bad experience here thanks to our weirdo waitress.

My daughter and I showed up 30 mins to close, and the cooks decided to make our food if we ordered swiftly. I had my heart set on fried rice. They were out, but that didn't stop them. That cook made me THE BEST FRIED RICE I HAVE EVER HAD. All the food was phenomenal, and the service was just as good.

As first-time visitors to Billings, we hit the jackpot by selecting the Wild Ginger for dinner. The atmosphere is very inviting, and the service by Lou, our bartender and waiter, was top-notch. My sister and I chose to sit at the bar which proved to be a wise decision. Started off with a Cosmo Martini and Bourbon Manhattan that set the tone. The menu is huge, so Lou helped in guiding our entree choices of the Thai curry casserole and the fresh basil shrimp, both were mouth-watering delights. Even the side salads were cold, crisp with a yummy dressing. Topped off dinner with a decadent chocolate torte. It was a great meal and great conversation as we learned about the area. Highly recommend this amazing downtown restaurant!

Great sushi, sake, and saltwater fish tank! The fish tank is for viewing only! They got Marlin, Nemo, Gill (a mini one), Pearl the starfish (in grey), Jaques, Dory, and Bubbles.

Service terrible. Server forgot our appetizer, and had to reorder after we finished our dinner. The waitstaff in the bar knew nothing about beer. Finally, and most importantly, the sushi was bland, tasteless, lacked any flavor, and was way overpriced for the amount of actual fish in it.

Came up from wyoming to spend the day in billings for my birthday ended up eating here and it was amazing. Food and atmosphere were great but our waiter Moses was the best part of the experience. He was fun and personable went above and beyond. Went out of his way to make my birthday feel special. Give that man a raise lol.

I normally don’t give out five stars, four stars is as good as it gets. Five stars implies perfection. Tonight was perfect. Our server, Moses, is who made it perfect. Highly attentive, but not overly attentive to where it was too much. Has amazing taste in wines and suggestions, and was totally chill and relatable. He’s definitely worth a big tip, and if you go, and he’s available I definitely recommend requesting Moses. Amazing Sushi, amazing Sake, amazing service. Everything tonight was perfect and usually is when I go in, but because of Moses I’m making this a regular thing

Wild Ginger has continually been a great place to go. Moses, one of the waiters, is phenomenal at what he does. Very personable, patient and courteous. He makes some authentic and amazing margaritas on top of the exceptional service. Definitely helps complete the amazing food served at Wild Ginger.

The bartender was just not friendly. And wanted to argue which hinger beer was the best. Like I care. So I won't be back and I left. Asked for a gluten-free menu, and he said no. That was it. I finally decided to just leave.

We have been there twice and have had a great experience both times. I would recommend the crispy duck, it was fantastic!

5/8/2024: Pleasantly surprised with the ramen. It's pretty good. I ordered the pork belly ramen. Egg noodles were slightly overcooked otherwise would have been perfect. Broth was scalding hot just as I like it however shouldn't be served with a metal spoon. Also ordered the chicken wings and they were pretty good. Overall I was satisfied and would go back to try the other ramen.

We were looking for margaritas and read a Google review from Wild Ginger saying they had the best margaritas. The bartender did not disappoint. We 100% agree! The best spicy margaritas!!

We just finished dinner and couldn't wait to post a review. First impressions were amazing. The atmosphere was very soothing and the booth was very comfortable as well. The food was beyond delicious! But the biggest impression was our waiter, Moses. He made us feel so welcomed and he was very patient with us as it was our first time there. He was professional yet very personable. So if you are reading this review and heading to The Wild Ginger, ask for Moses, he is the cherry on top of this wonderful dining experience.

I've had sushi around the world, I know good sushi. This was the absolutely the worst sushi. My husband had to it spit out. Service was good and friendly, but the food was horrible. We also ordered the pad thai and it was even worse than the sushi. Uneatable.

Me and my husband go to a lot of sushi bars but this was the best one with a chill atmosphere. I had asked for a mock-tail and mose gave us the best information about the menu. The Mocktail was made like an aqua fresca with mint and tajin and jalapeño. Love this place worth the amount of food they charge for!

I noticed Wild Ginger while looking for a new place to eat in downtown Billings, while driving. Thinking that it may be on the higher end, price wise, I was a little hesitant at stopping in. Not only are their prices lower than a popular chain seafood restaurant, the portions were larger, food quality excellent. I ordered the hibachi salmon, and 2 cooked sushi rolls, thinking that the salmon and vegetable portions would be "typical" amounts. Not so! The salmon was about twice the amount that I was expecting, vegetables about 3 times what I was expecting, accompanied with a nice portion of rice. The sushi rolls were brought home, as I was very comfortably full with the salmon entre'. The check was less than the chain seafood restaurant where I had eaten 2 days prior. Very pleased with the waitress, atmosphere and food. I will definitely be back again. Glad I stopped in! Because of being downtown, close parking is limited, but I didn't have to walk a full block. It is worth the walk.

We had an amazing lunch at Wild Ginger!! Moses made his special jalapeño and cilantro margarita. He will make it based on your preferred level of spiciness. So much flavor!! You need to try this! The presentation was fantastic. Very fun and lively atmosphere. My favorite rolls were Kobe Beef and Godzilla. My boyfriend loved the jalapeño yummy roll think its called. Awesome service from our waiter. He was very pleasant and courteous. Highly recommended!

Food was excellent. They weren’t busy at all and it was a struggle to get the server who seemed to disappear a lot.

We stopped by for lunch one day and Moses was our server. I ordered a roll with salmon but Moses only serves the best so he took it upon himself to go all the way to the pacific and was back in 20 minutes with the freshest salmon around. While he was away he went and harvested several spices from the Mediterranean for one of his signature cocktails. Outstanding food, even better service! Thanks again Moses!

Moses. What can I say? It is very rare these days to find a man more suited to his profession. And even more rare to find a true professional waiter. Moses is both. Owner-hold on to him. Patrons-ask for him and when he offers to make you one of his special off-menu cocktails immediately say yes.

We loved our date night and our server, Moses, was attentive and exceptionally friendly and sociable. It was a terrific night with a great host. Moses made us a Michelada with Sapporo beer and it was the best Michelada I’ve had in my life. It was remarkable. Honestly, the service and the Michelada make me want to go back tomorrow. The sushi and noodles were great too….but the atmosphere and that Michelada!! Bangin’

What a wonderful experience eating here! The food was good, the drinks were great, the staff was even greater! I had the kani salad and the dragon roll along with some specialty drinks from Moses, both of which were unique and deliciously flavorful in their own way. Definitely seems like a great place for a family or friend lunch and/or dinner. The fish tank is also very cool

The best Asian food we have had in Billings, MT so far and, in general, fantastic food. The food was fresh. A lot of it was homemade. And it shows. Nothing tastes better than homemade. Specifically, the crab rangoons, kimchi, and mustard sauce. I lived in Korea for two years and this was some of the best kimchi I have had. Service. Some of the best, friendly, timely, and attentive service I have had in the food industry and in general in Billings. Other service industry businesses take note - this is the way to do it. Generally, customer service is at an all time low. Thank you for the reminder that fantastic customer service is still possible. Thank you for a great meal, dinning experience, and fantastic service. We will be repeat customers. Also...keep an eye out and find Nemo and Dora in the fish tank!

Great food (killer shrimp hibachi) but also worth noting is that this place has the best red beers and micheladas I’ve ever had in Montana. Truly worth the visit.

This place is disgusting I can not believe how sorry of an excuse for a restaurant. I would give it no stars if I could and the manager should be ashamed to let food leave his kitchen like that never door dash or eat there.

Visiting Montana from North Dakota and decided to stop here and eat. Everything was sooo good! I had the chicken hibachi and my fiance had the short rib ramen. We were both very pleased with our meals. They had great flavor and the service was top notch. Definitely filled us up for the rest of the day! This restaurant is worth checking out!

I liked the fish tank. The servers were friendly and knew the menu well. I was there to put them in the paper but was disappointed in their idea of lo mein. They just used what I can only guess was overcooked spaghetti. The fish tank was well kept but the only star they should is for the starfish. No Michelin this year.

We’ve been several times in the past. Food has always been great, but the addition of Moses to your staff and atmosphere was the best decision you’ve made! Wonderful margaritas and the best service we’ve had in Billings in years.

Moses served us up a great meal, but the highlight had to be his red beer he concocted, and called the “Michelada.” Oh my. The drink was out of this world and needs to be added to the menu!!

Had a decent experience first time coming in, but the second was pretty bad. Quick summary: 1. Hair in rice 2. Bartender messed up my drink. I said i couldn’t do sugar. Sugar was in it. He said there wasn’t. After it was affirmed that he did put sugar in it, he refused to take it off my tab. The staff seem to be afraid of the guy. No wonder. Won’t be back anytime soon.

The food itself was good. Our server smelled of cigarettes, which was very off-putting to us. We watched another waitress digging at her head for something, then turned around a served food. We were both kind of turned off by the experience. The final straw came when the check was delivered the owner has now added a 1.5% charge on the check if paid with a credit card. Needless to say, this act of pettiness by the owner has lost a couple of guests from returning.

Moses was our server he made me and my son feel at home and i instantly LOVED this restraunt because of him.. he even made me a special drink off menue that he made up himself. It was a jalapeno cilantro margarita and... OMG. .... the best drink ive ever had. Hes awesome 10/10 would request him again!!!

Wild has always been a go-to for me and my little family. We love the atmosphere and the people are always so nice. The food was perfection and we were not stuck around waiting on anything. The drinks are also top tier with some specials from Moses our server! Highly recommend his cilantro jalapeño margaritas!!!

Had a delicious dinner tonight at Wild Ginger. As I like to mention in my reviews I'm celiac. Dinner was heavenly my boyfriend is obsessed with the mango sauce. I personally enjoyed some drunken noodles, an asparagus roll and a strawberry jalepeno margarita. I happened to see my old boss Moses, I know he's always on his A game when he's working and he is knowledgeable about the menu. He was incredibly helpful when it came to gluten free questions he was friendly and kind as always. Dinner was heavenly and the service was just as fantastic. We will 100% be back.

God awful. The server was horrendously disconnected. We had to bus our own table, go to the bar for drinks all while watching her slouch against the wall and chat. To top off the terrible service the food was inedible. Do not order off of the hibachi or the Chinese menu. You will be either sent home sick or very dissatisfied. We didn’t have the sushi looks like that’s what everyone goes there for. They did however have awesome live music.

Moses is the absolute best bartender in Billings. He makes the best drinks in town! You should try it yourself and if you don’t like it, I’ll pay for your drinks. lol

As far as take out goes I was very impressed with the freshness and flavor of my dish by the time I was able to sit down and eat it.

The best server in town works here and her name is Brooklyn. Very professional and fast service! I can't wait to sit at her table again.

Had the most happy and beautiful server whose name is Brooklyn unsure of her last name but she did have dark hair . Our server went above and beyond to make sure our food was correct and our drinks stayed full everything you want when eating out. Thanks to that server we will be coming back!

I went there November 17th and I was meaning to leave a review since then. But the waiter was amazing. Had him randomly picked food for me and jalapeños martinis yum. I knew to sushi but oh my goodness so stinken yummy. I wish I remembered the servers name but thank you!
